» GENERAL ↘ Name: Celia Addison ↘ Nicknames: N/A ↘ Gender: Female ↘ Age: 23
↘ Occupation: is nobility an occupation ↘ Location: One of their many holdings ↘ Homeland: Sunderland
↘ Appearance: Celia is not only the youngest, but also the shortest compared to her family. Residing at a solid 5'4'', her reddish brown hair is only shared with her mother, though she still retains the blue eyes shared with her brothers. Celia has a fair complexion, her soft skin making it very obvious that she probably hasn't worked a day in her life. Despite her status as nobility, Celia prefers to keep her attire simple; white and light blue make up the majority of her dresses, along with soft creams and the occasional grey. If anything, Celia has a fondness for neck wear, always donning warm scarves in the winter and airy shawls in warmer weather. » PERSONALITYMeek and timid, it's no surprise that the youngest daughter of the affluent Addison family would be coddled and sheltered. Of course, this doesn't necessarily make Celia naive; if anything, Celia is very perceptive and observant of the things around her, a silent spy of sorts who withdraws her true opinions and thoughts if only to watch and learn. Despite her growing knowledge, what Celia truly lacks is experience. Of course, her status as a noble allows her access to literacy and books, but what good are skill that you can never test out? Not very, she would tell you.
Celia's dilemma is a vicious cycle of wanting to branch out and grow, but being too afraid to do so, alas. Being the youngest child and a girl at that has done plenty to stunt her self esteem and courage. If only she could have the bravery and valor that her oldest brother had! Even dear Zach, the middle child, was bold (if not reckless). It was apparent they'd have all the limelight from the get-go, allowing Celia to meld into the background and experience things from the safety of the shadows. This isn't to say that she doesn't love her brothers dearly (for she does, to a fault), but the situation leads to a whole lot of self loathing and inferiority.
At least she's good at hiding it. As a matter of fact, she's quite good at keeping those feelings at bay all together. For all that it's worth, Celia does possess a sort of tenacity. She's very self aware of her flaws and does want to work towards improving her issues; one step forward, two steps back, but at least she did that first step once, so she can do it again, right? It's a slow process that usually leaves Celia troubled, but no one's perfect, right? All she needs is a good push... ...and if her new status as chosen isn't a good push, then she doesn't know what is! Though the whole chosen-guardian business has only seemed to lead to a bunch of family drama and inheritance spats, Celia finds herself wonderfully un-involved with the main source of it all. While her brothers and father and uncle argue and gripe, Celia hopes to find a new niche with her guardian; scared, but nevertheless open to the idea of one day becoming a warden. Maybe this way, she can be just as gallant as her big brother! Of course, for that to happen, it's going to take a lot of work...
» HISTORY ↘ In the past... Youngest child and only daughter to Eberhard Fairfax and Alinne Addison, Celia hasn't done terribly much in her comfortable 23 years of life. Though her and the rest of her siblings were raised primarily by their mother, Celia never grew attached to either of her parents. Of course, the opposite could be said for her siblings, of which she is terribly fond of both. wow celia why are you so boring ↘ Recently: As of the late, Celia finds herself batting around the outskirts of the ever present family feud. Not directly affected, it still manages to take a toll on her, being that the constant fighting between her brothers (as well as her uncle who recently wandered from the woodworks) is nothing short of unbearable at times, not that she really has a say in the whole matter. Still, she wishes she could make some sort of peace between everyone, but she is neither bold nor holds the right to truly intervene. It's wishful thinking to hope that it will resolve soon, but she knows the situation will probably never be resolved; even if there is a 'winner' to the entire deal, there will always be bitter feelings and lasting scars... at least, that's what she believes.
Regardless, Celia does have the entire issue of being chosen to deal with, so she's at least fairly preoccupied while everyone else quarrels. She isn't sure what the tidings will bring or what these changes will ultimately mean, but she's willing to adapt. We'll see how things turn out...

» THE GUARDIAN ↘ Name: Dove ↘ Gender: Female ↘ OOC Stage: Adult ↘ IC Stage: Adult » PERSONALITYHolding true to her title as a guardian, Dove is very watchful and protective of Celia, but not in a debilitating way. Recognizing that her chosen needs room to grow, Dove has the ability to withhold herself and only steps in when necessary. While this can almost come across as a lack of care, Dove always puts her chosen first, always with the best intentions. Despite the boundless affection she holds for Celia, she shows little kindness to others, both chosen and guardian alike; of course, she can and does remain civil, if only for Celia, though she can be respectful to those that she deems it necessary.
» WITH CELIAAt the moment, Celia isn't quite sure what to think about Dove. While Dove loves her chosen unconditionally, Celia is a bit standoffish, if only because she was never well versed in the old ways or came to believe in tales of wardens and chosens and the like. This doesn't necessarily mean that she's rejecting the idea, however, it's only that Celia feels a bit awkward as she doesn't quite know what being chosen really even means. Regardless, the two have a bizarre relationship in which Celia does trust the doe even if she's not sure why (something just feels right about Dove, though), while Dove seems to care about Celia regardless of anything. The two get along well at the moment, though. » THE CHOOSING
