Melisara was about ready to head back to the dorm after an evening of dancing and just...generally hanging out. On her way back to the dorms she was surprised to see that she was being followed by not one, but two kiddens--the blue one from earlier and a new one, a brown one. She smiled and beckoned it forward. "Come on, y'all. Let's see if y'all can get along with Pestilence..."
The fey, trying to make sure her kids wouldn’t get too sad or upset over their song being over, decided to suggest something to distract them – beaming, she proposed, “Why don’t we get a treat or pick some flowers?” They seemed to get excited over the idea, so agreed immediately. Estys held out a hand for each of her kids, which they gratefully accepted.
Atoli always enjoyed doing stuff with her mother, so followed her faithfully. As they reached the area where they were giving out flowers and bouquets, she and Astro collected a plethora of different colored roses and strung them together to make a lovely bouquet.
The freshling whooped, clearly happy with the results. He would love to make another bouquet – so he set out to find some more roses or other types of flowers. Maybe he could gift this one to his mother~
It took Kara a while to finally loosen up and enjoy the dance. Okay, so it took her a lot longer than it should have with all the eyes she could feel on the back of her neck. She was used to being really confident in crowds, but this was something she knew she wasn't very good at. However, she knew she should try, if nothing else for Odessa's sake. This dance was supposed to be fun, right?
A really fun and funky song came on and she found herself moving her body to it, actually enjoying herself. As she twirled around on her heels she was a bit surprised to see a purple skyfish hovering around the two of them!

Odessa found herself smiling more than usual when Kara finally seemed to loosen considerably. She was glad that her friend was finally having fun and not worrying about what other people were thinking. She had to admit though that this song was rather fun and even found herself doing a funky sort of dance. She thought the song was called something like "Another One Bites the Dust". It was really fun to move to, no matter who was watching, though she wasn't sure many people were since the whole crowd seemed to be enjoying the song as much as she and Kara were.

Perhaps she had spoken too soon about the random gifts when yet another person appeared before her handing her a pretty ribbon with a bell on it. She tried to refuse, but the person wouldn't take no for an answer and sweet talked her into taking it regardless. Not that she had much of a choice when they tied it around her wrist before walking off. She couldn't help but sigh, shaking her head, at least it wasn't very heavy.

Astro glanced over to his mother, and noticing she wasn’t paying attention, he devised his plan. “Atoli, let’s get mom some flowers,” he whispered loudly, trying to be discreet. With her help, the freshling gathered up a plethora of white roses and tossed in some black ones in as well. Content, he and Atoli skipped over to Estys and presented the bouquet to her, grinning smug.
Atoli grinned. “Do you like them, momma?” she asked, looking hopeful.
The fey let out a small gasp and gathered them into her arms. “They’re very lovely. Thank you, sweeties,” she said, hugging her babbins before taking the bouquet from them. Estys looked the flowers over and gave them a sniff – they were definitely fresh.
When the song ended, Kara found herself slightly out of breath, but she was also giggling. That was a pretty fun song, maybe she'd have to add it to her playlist when they got back to their dorm. She smiled happily at seeing the two skyfish form their own sort of dance as they swam around each other.

Odessa smiled happily, pulling on Kara's hand as the song turned to a slower one for couples. "We definitely need to do that again when another song like that comes on!" She stated, taking in a large breath to stable her breathing.

When they finished with the food, they gathered up all the trash and tossed it away, making sure not to leave anything behind for other animals to choke on. He turned and petted each one of the familiars before diving back into the crowd to watch the lights and people dance away. They guessed it really wasn't that bad of an event, even if they were here alone.

Estys, admiring the bouquet her children had given her, smiled and hugged her children affectionately. "I'm so lucky to have such wonderful children.." she said. "Look - let's find something for you two," she said. As she walked with the two freshlings, she made a soft, 'oo!' sound and remembering she had a bell attached to a ribbon, she pulled it out and tied it around the bouquet. It was cute - she liked it.
Astro whooped happily, excited he was getting a reward, though it definitely wasn't his intention. As he walked with Estys and Atoli, he caught sight of a bunch of plushies that were just laying on a table, possibly free for the taking. "Oh, oh, look!" he exlaimed, snatching the purple seal plush and squeezing it.
Atoli wasn't into collecting plushies - but she knew a classmate and sort-of-friend who did. She picked up one for him. for Eli
'Lilah was a little concerned at Chessy's blush... had she not liked the hug? She hadn't seemed to object initially, giving a nice, long hug, but... Well unless she said something to indicate she was actually bothered by it, 'Lilah would assume things were ok. At the question, though, 'Lilah gave Chessy a bright smile, and took her hand. "Yes, pl-please! I love dancing, actually!" She didn't do it often, because of her shyness, but she loved dancing with friends!

Kama slowed the pace of the dance as the song slowed, his eyes half closed.
Thurayya paused when she got close to the DJ station, and peered in, curious about the equipment they were using.
"Yeah, you're right!" Kara exclaimed as she finally caught her breath. "I think I saw a stand over there, why don't we get ourselves something to drink?" She knew that sugared drinks weren't the best for dehydration, but she needed something to wet her mouth, and the drinks looked good.

"Sure!" Odessa agreed, her head moving up and feeling something bump against it, she blinked, barely seeing the outline of the invisible aetherjelly, she couldn't help but wonder how long it had been there? She pointed up, signaling to Kara, "It looks as though we might have a new friend!"

As Pandora swayed to the music, she felt as though something or someone was watching her. She blinked, her eyes fluttering open to try to get a glance at whomever it could be, but she didn't see anyone around her doing anything more than paying attention to the dance or themselves. She mused but shook her head, as she did so, she tilted her head, seeing a flowing figure in the corner of her eyes. She turned and saw an aetherjelly sticking close to her. She couldn't help but smile, how awesome was that?!

Delilah took a deep breath as she held Chessy's hand, ready to dance. This was going to be a lot of fun. As she did so, a black and yellow fluffbug landed gently in Chessy's hair.
A purple and pink Skyfish decided to join the other three that were swimming above Kama's head, giving him an odd Fish Halo.
As she moved away from the DJ station, a blue aether Jelly Joined the other two she had, and they danced with her.
