Eidil's turn was next, and she made a face at what she encountered. "Ugh, it's children's modeling clay. I can still taste it from when we were kids."
Mys. Grey laughed and gagged. "Okay, for that...imagery...you get a plushie." Eidil grinned, squeaked with delight, and picked a yellow one--her second-favorite color.
Callessa poked her hand into the same box Eidil had picked. Laughing, she said, "Oh, urgh, I can feel its color, too! It's white, and gross!"
She was laughing so hard that she almost missed the Chimera blink. She took the box from Cal and looked inside. "Yup. White! Very nice..."
Cal stared at her. "No way--I was just playing around!" But when Mys. Grey showed her the contents, it was true--a squished piece of white children's modeling clay lay inside.
Denidar and his brother were halfway to the next booth when something soft hit Deni in the back of his head. He looked around for a culprit, but there was no one to be seen. He looked around for what had hit him and saw a blue plushie lying on the ground. He scooped it up and waved it in his brother's face. "Ah think we mahght be done here!"
Fenaret, at the urging of the game keeper, took another turn. He was much more successful this time--this time he managed to bag himself another plushie, this one orange.
Francesca had no such luck. He didn't win anything at all!
Evelyn brought herself and her friends to spin-the-wheel booth. This was the second one they'd seen so far, but Evey didn't really care. She spun the wheel and won a bag of candy from it.
Lillian shook her head and let Talya go in front. She'd won a lot of prizes already from this event.
Talya did quite well on this game--she finally won a pink bow for herself, to match her friends. She immediately tied it around her neck.
Vederat and Sound Lee got another go at the beanbag toss, since there weren't very many kids there. Ved squeaked with surprise when his first bag managed to make it through the farthest slot without even hitting the edges. The game keeper told him that won him a pet. He picked a pretty skyfish and put it away in his bag for safekeeping.
Sound Lee's second turn was next. He did very well on this one indeed. He didn't win a fish, but he did win a plushie. He looked over the options, lips pursed. Then he picked a purple one, which he handed immediately over to Ved. "For you, dude," he said.
Yeah, okay, spinning the wheel, whatever, big deal. He spun the wheel and won a bag full of candy--well, okay, that was pretty darn nice, all things considered.
Quilo was hit in the head with another plush as he moved on--this one was a blue one. This one he decided to keep for himself--he had a major soft spot for blue anythings.
Anchriesel took a deep breath. It was time to begin.
Melisara was bumped in the back of her knees suddenly as she was walking around. She turned to see a bright blue kidden seeming to glare at her. She bent down to pet it on the top of its head--it nuzzled her. She wasn't going to be able to leave here without it, was she?
Kara couldn't help but giggle, giving a nod. "Those are pretty bad." She had to agree. She stepped forward when something caught her eyes, she turned to look. "Oh hey... Odessa, look!" She motioned with a finger.

"What?" Odessa blinked and turned to the direction Kara was pointing to see a pretty blue Fluffbug flying around her. Odessa's eyes widened as the creature landed on her head. "It's so pretty!" She exclaimed, excited to have her own familiar from the event. "I guess we have two to name now!" She stated happily, moving to carefully take the familiar in her arms.

Kiessi was busying themself with their work, pulling the arms of the plushie in place and nipping the string off with their teeth when they heard a strange noise. Looking down, they blinked when they saw nothing but heard it again. Kiessi moved their chair out a little, making sure not to bump into anyone and then gazed under the table. There was a little kidden, baaing at them! They blinked and held their hand out and the kidden went right toward it, nuzzling affectionately.

Apparently there were people out everywhere handing out the little plushies because another person came by and handed her a little ducky plush!

Ze had been smiling for... twelve minutes now. The grimm had to check to be certain because honestly, it felt like hours. Other nervous nightmares and daydreams obviously appreciated the gesture, smiling back and moving on through the party with lifted spirits, but ze was beginning to tire. No, Ayuu was already exhausted. Zer eyes found a very bright and cheery imp nearby, and before ze could resummon zer smile, the boy got a glimpse of just how tired ze was.
His father had warned him to slow down more times than he could count, but the lesson had only extended as far as his behavior in their living quarters. When he was outside, Ellis tended to forget such instructions, which was how he ended up turning sharply and nearly smacking headlong into a grimm.
"Oh! Sorry! I didn't step on anything, did I?" He held out the bag of candy he'd been digging through with only a slightly wavering grin. "Want any?"
Estys contently watched her children, who were trying to dance with each other. It was amusing; they were two bumbling and awkward babbins that were fumbling around and stepping on each others' toes. Maybe she needed to sign them up for dancing lessons..
Atoli squeaked after Astro stomped on her foot for probably the eighth time in the past two minutes. "I-I think we need to stop," she stammered, leaning down to rub her feet. "You're not graceful, y'know...You're supposed to be graceful when you dance.." she said, huffing.
Astrophel huffed. "G-graceful? you're the one not being graceful...! You keep shoving me and elbowing me and you stepped on my toes a lot too!!" he retorted back, puffing his cheeks out.
Delilah's eyes traveled over Chessy's face, a soft smile on her own. She was so glad Chessy was her dear friend, she truly couldn't imagine not having Chessy in her life anymore.
Lee was prepared for his friend's protests and shook his head. "No. Keep it. Please."
Vederat opened his mouth to protest, then shut it. There was no changing Sound Lee's decision now. He just had to keep playing through his tears of gratitude. He picked up the bean bags and kept tossing. This time he won a green plush. When he tried to hand it to his friend, his friend refused. He sighed. "Thank you, Sound Lee."
Darryl was chosen to pick the next game, much to his reluctance. He picked a match-the-duck game, which turned out pretty well for him--he bagged himself a new plushie. His sister was distracted giggling with her friends, so he snatched it from the game keeper's hands and shoved it to the bottom of his bag. He smiled at the game keeper and laid a finger aside of his nose, like they did in cartoons, and jerked his thumb towards his sister. The game keeper nodded--this new plushie was to be their little secret.
Talya was tapped to go next, since she had one last prize she needed--that bracelet. She won it, too, with a pair of daisy marks on the undersides of the ducks.
Lillian went next, and to the Nixie's surprise, she actually won a plush. She struggled to pick between the sealpup plushes, but eventually chose the blue one.
Evelyn's luck was good as well, and when she won a plush she wrapped an arm around Lilli's shoulders. "Don't worry--I'll get you the other sealpup."
"Really?"
"Of course!" She took the purple plush from the game keeper and passed it to Lillian. "That's what friends are for! To look out for each other."
Darryl was tugging at her sleeve and pointing to his ear. She listened and sighed. "Our parents are calling us. See you two later? It was nice to see you!"
Of course he'd been looking the other way when Chries approached. He blinked, nearly starting as he turned to look at him. Oh... he looked nice. Chries was a little.. strange sometimes, but he certainly knew how to dress himself. Suddenly Gany was aware that he was probably not making the Appropriate Expression, and consciously brought himself into a smile. "Yeah... I don't know what it likes, but it's kind of... decided to stay." He shrugged a little, sparing the aetherjelly a glance. "You look ni--" He stopped mid-word at the sight of the flitterat in Chries' hand.
Was... that a gift?
He blinked a few times, marks lighting up with delight for a few seconds - then reached out to take it from him. "Thank you, they're very cute." Ah, now that smile was genuine... He cradled the small animal in one hand, then dug into a pocket with the other, producing a small heart charm necklace with colors similar to Chries', then held it out for him to take. "I got you something-- oh."
Of course, he had noticed the plush. Momentarily his expression soured as he glanced in the direction it had come from, but he soon move back into a smile. "Sorry, I'm apparently some kind of plush magnet at these events...? Every time I come I get hit in the head - and whomever I'm talking to does too..." He frowned, perhaps it sounded ridiculous but... well... considering the Jubilee and the Solstice... no, it really wasn't.
