1) His alignment to earth makes me feel that later on in the game he will start to be more sure of himself and maybe even be a hero at some point, he may even protect others. Remember earth is strong and powerful, firm and stands it’s ground, just as much as it is the base of what all life comes from. I like to see Jamie evolve and become more like that as he changes and gets older.
and
2) He is a workaholic, becoming a child of Pan would mean that he would become possibly less like that. Finding fun, games and, taking it easy as more enjoyable. He may also find that his idea of hard work as a faun is perfecting melodies and finding new ways to have fun and playing games. It is up to you

Character's name: Amida Kyla Creature: Western Dragon Quest Thread: in keeping a nightmare Hello! well I think you've chosen a fitting creature and element types for your character, but the parents getting killed tragically, then having to move in with a foster home is a bit cliché and overused, and ought to be revised. One suggestion I would make, is since it almost feels like your character is almost a kleptomaniac is to have it that Amida gets in repeated trouble for stealing/sent to a juvenile detention facility and eventually her parents give up and send her to a foster home to live.

Oh and fix your creature to be merman-swordfish. No worry did it for ya.
