Mannerisms: Often becomes very quite around people he still doesn’t know very well, and gets tongue tied when eh does try to have a conversation with a stranger.

Spoken languages: English primarily, has leant some very basic Spanish in school, but not nearly enough to form a even vaguely coherent sentence.
Talents: Can play simple songs from memory on the flute, but he can play more complicated songs, but with the help of sheet music.

Wears: When Jamie’s around the house he usually dressed himself in old clothing, like a shirt he never wears outside, an old track suits trousers and socks instead of shoes. “Comfortably” would be the way he describes it. Jamie is probably the least vain person you’ll ever meet when it comes to his appearance.

Personality:

On first impression Jamie comes across as a very shy and quiet person. He’s never been entirely comfortable around people outside his family, which has just made it hard for him to make friends most of his life. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, it’s just new people tend to make him nervous, and he ends up not responding to people, and ends up seeming more like a jerk in the process ( Because of this a number of people have thought him mute). Since he’s been unable to make real friends, he developed a tendency to spend more time with the various pets he’s had over the course of his life rather than human friends. To him they seem to comfort him, and form a lot stronger bonds with him a lot better than people do. Despite being so shy, Jamie can be a perfectly likable and lively person, but only after coming out of his shell with a new person. Which isn’t something that happens very often. Despite his innervated-ness he tries to be polite as his shyness allows him to new people.

Jamie always likes to be doing something useful, usually it’s being an over achiever in school, or helping round the house. He doesn’t do it to suck up, he just doesn’t like just lying there, or doing something he knows won’t serve any good in the end. This can mainly be attributed to his parents always insisting he do well in school, so he developed that “Always working” mentally at a young age. He’s generally at his happiest when hes knows he’s being productive, or something that’ll serve some helpfulness in the future. He’s also patient in what he does, constantly finishing the task to it’s utmost regardless of how long it takes him to do. He’s a considerate and kind person, though it’s not something most people pick up on without knowing him for a long time. Since he’s not the sort to brag or point out how he helps, he’d rather humbly assist, or even avoid begin praised for his actions.

Pukka: A small light wooden flute. Jamie obtained the flute after one of his schools choirs practice sessions. Their normal music teacher was away at the time and a substitute took his place. Everything went just like any other practice, except for when the substitute asked to speak to Jamie at the end of the session. He didn’t say much and gave Jamie the flute for what he said was a “Good effort today”. He accepted the gift, even though he already had his own at home. But it did strike him as odd, but he thought no harm would come from accepting a simple flute as a gift. It’s not like it was candy or anything.

Things on hand upon arrival: Nothing, Jamie was asleep in his room at the time, so he would arrive clad only in his pajamas, socks and the flute that brought him to Athlaias to begin with.

Faun: Jamie’s always been a introverted person, and rather fond of animals and nature in general, it suits that he’d turn into a shy creature with a love for wild untamed forests.

Siblings: An older sister, Francesca ( 19 ) Who is currently studying at university.
Background:

Jamie was born into a rather average family, his mother was a house wife, and his father worked in an office (He was never quite old enough to full understand what eh did for his living). They where reasonably well off, in there house was always large enough, Jamie had his own room. That was enough for him, he was never one to ask or beg for extra things or toys, he was appreciative of what he had. Understanding that his parents needed money on upkeep and food, not spoiling him, which there was only just enough money for most of the time.

Jamie has lived a rather mundane life so far in his thirteen years. Most of his time was spent, and still is, at home or at school. Where he was usually kept himself busy with whatever he could. Helping round the house or doing his homework.

Prior to his sister leaving to study at university he spent a lot of time with her. Odd, for a brother and his much older sister. But they found a mutual bond while tasking care of their pets. Jamie’s family had two cats and a dog which he grew up most of his life with (As they where originally his parents), he regularly spend time playing with the animals in the back garden of their house or his bedroom. He also had a pair of his own budgies in his room. Aside from them he’s also been taking care of a few hamsters and rats as pets recently.

The main reason he stayed at home so much is his problem making friends, and general shyness. Jamie was quite interested in music as a child, but never really learned how to play anything in particular. In the past few years he’s been learning how to play flute to fill that void. The idea that he take up an instrument was mainly forced upon him by his parents. That way he could take part in his school choir and possibly make more friends. Though he only joined last year. His usual shyness prevailed though, and he only was able to really talk to a few people during the after school practice sessions.

Erm, just whatever shirt and trousers I have, it doesn’t matter much since I’m home most of the time.

Just my pajamas and socks, why should I be wearing something else?

In your opinion, what is your best feature?Feature? …I guess my eyes, Dad always says they look like my Moms.

My rooms a bit messy I guess, but it’s not my fault, my pets are in here most of the time, so there not much I can do. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much?
Erm…probably the stereo in my room, music helps pass the time a lot better.
What one word best describes you?
…Shy?

Who was your father, and what was he like?
His names Cecil, he works at some office hat pretty far away, so he spend a lot of time travelling to and from work. He's strict with me and my school work. I'm okay with it, it'll be for the best when I grow up.
Who was your mother, and what was she like?
Her names Anna, she says at home so she takes care of me most of the time. I always help her around the house. We're way closer than most boys and their mothers.

What were your siblings names? What were they like?
Francesca’s my sister, but she’s not here right now, she’s off at university. She still visits sometimes on the holidays, but I miss her. She used to play with me and the pets all the time.

What hobbies do you have?
I play flute, I’m not that good, but I’m getting better.

I don’t really pay attention to those charts, I don’t like anything on there. Too much hip-hop and stuff like that.
What song is "your song?" Why?
Something slow, or light hearted, I just like to listen to the music, not the lyrics. That’s the most important and hardest part, playing music is way harder than singing.
Read any good books? What were they?
Harry Potter? But everyone reads those...
What do you watch on the Television?
Blue Peter, I’m kinda old for it now, but I still like to watch stuff like that.*
What annoys you more than anything else?
Those people at school who always say they didn’t finish their homework, they had a whole week, of course you ha time. Stupid people.
What time of day is your favorite?
The evening, I’m usually done with any work then, so I get to relax then.
What kind of weather is your favorite?
When the skies overcast, but it’s not raining. The temperatures always just right, not to cold and not to warm either. Just right.

Apples are always nice, and those curries mom makes, there spicy but I like them and strawberries too! Oh and, wait you only asked for one didn’t you?

Cats, their quite and relaxed animals (Most of the time anyway), and I like petting my pet ones too. They certain like using my as their couch too.
What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.)
Just lying down on my bed with some music on my stereo.
What habit that others have annoys you most?
Nail biting.

What don't you like about yourself?
How shy I get around new people, I just get so tongue tied.

I’m happy the way I look right now, I just wish mom let me grow my hair longer. She says I’d just look girly like that. *Grumbles*

I just do as I’m told and I’m fine with that, I don’t think I could handle leading people.

Well…yeah, it’s okay to cry if your sad right? Err… I cried when Francesca first left, I could help it, I was lonely for such a long time without her.
What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall?
Laziness, so many people are like that. It really annoys me how some people can’t be bothered to do such simple things sometimes.
Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them?
I go mute when I’m around someone I’ve never met before, or is a stranger to me. I wish I could speak up sometimes.
