While a lot of mutants are a little touchy or self-conscious about their mutations, Sindri is one of those that isn't. This might be due to the fact that Muere never made a big deal of the boy's handicap, and said that he and other mutated nightmares (and daydreams) are lucky they were able to be born after being awakened in October! So in a sense they were all actually really special. Sindri's mutated eye is practically completely blind, and the two pupils will sometimes seemingly stare in random directions, and this occasionally freaks other people out. The only thing that upsets Sindri a bit is that his depth perception is pretty bad, and he sometimes fumbles with tasks that require precision.
All in all, he's a very outgoing and fun-loving little boy, but does get hit by moments of depression when he messes something up, or another kid calls him a weirdo because of his eye. In spite of the sometimes negative attention, he's still content with who he is and refuses to cover up his eye.

Muere - Sindri's zaza, who's really cool though he doesn't talk much.
Mora - Sindri's aunt, she seems a little scary at first but is actually kind of nice in his opinion.
Nex - his cousin, Mora's son. Sindri hasn't spent much time with Nex, but still considers Nex a friend due to their relation.
Muninn - another mutated hybrid Sindri met during Winter Solstice. He's got a similar mutation as Sindri, though he seems a little more self-conscious about it.. he thinks Muninn is cool and has really nice eyes.
Mani - Muninn's brother, also a mutated hybrid. Sindri thinks Mani is pretty cute, and wants to get to know him a little better.

Mana is a little ball of nerves, and always thinks others are judging their appearance and behavior. They have several rather irrational fears, such as darkness and monsters under the bed, and have on several occasions woken up their dorm with screaming about how something tried to grab their ankle from under the bed.. a few times this turned out to be a roommate trying to play a prank on the geist.
Another thing that adds to their awkwardness is that Mana began getting growth spurts at a fairly early age, quickly growing to be among the tallest in class. This makes Mana feel like they draw too much attention to themselves, and thus the child often retreats to more quiet areas on the Academy grounds.
They do spend a lot of time observing other nightmares during and between classes, and Mana also has a tendency to develop crushes very easily. It makes them really embarrassed though, getting butterflies in their stomach at the sight of a cute nightmare or daydream, and they're far too afraid of rejection to ever actually confess to anybody.

Growing up at the orphanage, Eriu knows life can be hard - especially for those born in October. Despite this she's always been rather outgoing and positive, and considers herself very lucky to have ended up in Amber's care. She's really enjoying her life at school, enjoying better food (and sweets!) and the nice clothes her new life have offered her. She's very, very fond of sweets, and this shows in her slightly chubby cheeks. She is by no means fat, but will likely have a little bit of a tummy when she grows unless she learns to cut back on her snacking..
Since she comes from a somewhat harsher background, she's always happy to share with others as well, and is quick to encourage others when they're feeling down. On the other hand, she craves attention and may sometimes get rather fussy when she's not getting noticed.

Amber - Eriu's adoptive mother, and nowadays her biggest influence outside of school. The two get along great, though one might sometimes wonder if Amber spoils the girl just a little too much.. Eriu would never want to to see Amber disappointed and strives to keep her grades good to impress her 'mom'.

Virus is extremely positive and outgoing, but also tends to take failure and rejection a little hard. She's quick to bounce back from her depression, though. She really loves to dance and wishes to make a career of it one day, and honestly academic subjects sometimes bore her. She does okay at school most of the time, but her somewhat flaky nature has made it hard for her to make lasting friendships. She also has a bad habit of 'borrowing' things without permission, and sometimes even shoplifts. Her morals are a little questionable at times, as she thinks as long as nobody knows or gets hurt, it's not wrong to steal, or do stuff she shouldn't.
Despite some of her less flattering personality traits, Virus is very nice to people she interacts with. Those that can forgive her flaky nature will find to have made themselves a very caring friend, though she's a little difficult to make arrangements with sometimes. She really likes to see people smiling and does her best to make them happy.

The first thing others notice about Rajani is her height. She's very tall and thin for her age, towering over most of her Academy peers. This sometimes makes her a little embarrassed as she tends to have to lean down a little when interacting with her classmates.
Her past was not the happiest one - an orphan, she was adopted by a family that over time became abusive. Due to severe head trauma, Rajani is now completely deaf, and is dependent on sign language and writing as means to communicate with others. If someone doesn't know sign, she'll hastily scribble signs on a notebook she always has on her person.
Despite her height, the Grimm is rather easily startled, and really hates any kind of conflict. She's fiercely protective over people she grows close to, though, and can occasionally lash out if she feels something or someone threatens a person she likes.
A bit of a gentle giant, she also has a fondness of Freshlings and familiars, especially the smaller kinds.

Alcor is a sweet enough young imp, but on occasion gets somewhat bratty. He wants someone to treat him like a princess, and sometimes drives people away with his demanding antics. Deep down though, he's very lonely and wants reassurance and acceptance, and has a burning need for affection, both physical and verbal. His behavior does a near 180 once he befriends someone, and he turns out to be the person who would literally give the shirt off his back if someone were in need. When a person becomes important enough for him, he'll do his utmost to keep them happy. However, his biggest weakness is his younger sibling, Mizar. He constantly babies and spoils the younger child, and will quickly lash out if anyone tries to start anything with his precious sibling.
Alcor's childhood was a fairly happy one, and his parents were very loving. However, soon after imbuing Mizar's soul stone, a tragic accident took their lives and the two children were left in the care of their grandmother. She did the best she could for the two, but because she wanted the children to receive the best education possible, she sent them off to the Academy as soon as Mizar was old enough to enroll. Both of them embraced school life and still write to their grandmother regularly.

Hikaru is a sweet child who loves cuddles and physical proximity, but usually has a bit of a hard time voicing his needs. He's very kind and generous towards his peers, but extremely soft-spoken, and thus he kind of gets drowned out next to the more outspoken children. He's also not very assertive, but not really a push-over either. He'll stick by his opinions and usually won't budge when someone tries to argue, yet he'll never raise his voice. When he gets angry or frustrated, he curls into himself and refuses to speak until he's calmed down.
For some reason, he seems to attract animals - Vespercats in particular. A possible explanation for this may be that his parent Kaoru owns a large number of Vespers and Hikaru grew up with a lot of whiskers! Kaoru is a bit of a kitty magnet himself, so perhaps this is a family trait?

Kaoru - Hikaru's parent, who he loves very much. Kaoru always makes sure Hikaru has cute things to wear, and owns a lot of Vespercats that the child loves to play with.
