Done. At least the investigating part. A misssion to exterminate the Cloud is advised.

The ruins were full of traps, not really surprising. Creatures everywhere, only ran into two. The first one was just a giant dark thing, it looked like it was sucking the light out of everything around it. Killed it and moved on. Found a Cloud-type thing at the end that looked like it was puking out the creatures that were infesting the place. I saw the process and it was...gross. It looked like it was guarding the doors that its babies were going through for some reason. It actually knocked me out after I got too close so I don't know what's past those doors. Probably a good idea to go back. Get the feeling the place'll fill up with more of those things if we wait too long.

My teammates did a good job of clearing out a lot of the infestation. They even had enough time to rescue my a**, so commendations for them.

Atlantis Mission Report

I had first noticed that the rain might be connected to a incident that Kim Whitmore as she stated she had taken an item from Atlantis during it's first discovery. At the time the golem Atlantis had instructed her not to touch anything, and despite this warning had done so without my noticing. She later came clean as she was experiencing systems with water that affected her health and stated she sank in water. I had assisted her on our trip back only taking her inability as exhaustion.
Before I could meet her, she had went to the Creation Island and given the artifact to the Tree. I had to rescue her from the island, but at the time she could not explain if what had happened as a dream or if she gave it to the ocean. My concern was to return her back home. At this time the events of the rain and golems started and I was no longer able to return to the island without help.
I held a meeting with other hunters who collectively voted to go to the Creation Tree island, retrieve the artifact, and go to Atlantis.
Members assembled that morning, and we approached the shore where a large Lobster Water Golem met us. Many hunters were needed to destroy the golem in order to allow the remaining team passage. I commend the hunters who were injured in order to allow us passage into the ocean.
Only complications in swimming were the water trying to pull us under but no causalities as the team worked together to help others.
On the Island, the nausea and affects of the island worked on the already tired team. I went with Ms Whitemore to the tree in hopes that, if it already listened to her, it would do so again. Creation possessed her body and was reluctant to give up the item. I tried to bargain with it for an exchange and gave up my Sash artifact for theirs. They were not impressed and hated the trade. Kim's body started to bleed from it's eyes and mouth and I tried to make the deal quickly, even offering my own body which with my weapon bond would be better than a first year. Creation gave up the artifact and it's hold on Ms. Whitemore. Her body appeared dead to me as I had tested her pulse and could detect no signs of life.
I gave the team the option to go back home with Ms. Whitemore's body to allow those exhausted or too overtaken by the events to seek medical help and rest. I assigned this team to Ever Ambrodiel.
Those remaining dove to Atlantis with me. We found no trouble.
We were not allowed entrance at first. Atlantis scanned us for ill will, showing it was capable of detecting actual intent, and asked us to state our names and goals for being there. Not detecting Malice, it allowed us into the darkened city to go to court. The courtroom was overseen by a much larger AI golem who stated a trust was broken due to Kim's actions.
Options were given. Provide artifacts for hope of peace. We could also fight and if we succeeded in winning, then alliance would not be possible but the attacks would stop. No one had or was willing to offer any artifacts. My own had been given to Creation for the trade.
Atlantis was willing to stop the attack and still hold the possibility of an alliance if I remained to offer help. I have chosen to help. The remainder of my team was released and I requested Zeke Young due to diving experience to oversee the return of the remaining hunters.
Additional points of extreme importance: Atlantis does have power for prolonged attacks. It is not an enemy we should make.
I am here by choice. I wish to form an Alliance with Atlantis. They have been treating me fairing and providing me with whatever needs to remain healthy. I report no hostilities have been made against me and I am in no way being kept against my will.
Commendations or warnings:
Concerns: Creation became hostile and it's statements on the Island where it's tree is rooted were grave. I fear that it took insult to retrieving the artifact we took back from it and for not appearing grateful for the services it provides. I do not know how to remedy any hostilities of a legacy though it did mention a birthday and family several times.
I request no one who has a history of stealing, rash actions, or might cause aggression/disrespect to Atlantis should be permitted inside if the gates should ever be opened again to Avalon.
Would not recommend William Hughes with matters involving peaceful negotiations.

Interaction with the AI, in this instance, resulted in a lingering ability to hear the thoughts of those within your immediate proximity. Effects lasted about 48 hours from our departure of Atlantis.

Melvin Woods - Showed strong leadership potential, and a willingness to give everything for the sake of something he's passionate about.
Kimberly Whitmore - Was possessed briefly by Creation and appeared to have died from the exposure, though it looks like she's alive again now.

Kim was "killed" on Creation island, not sure what the hell happened because something about the island kept me busy on the shore, puking my guts out. She's alive again so...again, not sure what the hell happened but I guess it's good she didn't actually stay dead.
Another thing that's notable is the fact that we could hear other people's thoughts for a while after we left Atlantis. They didn't do anything to us down there other than talk to us, so it might be some mind...magic...thing. I don't really know. I avoided everyone for a while because of it so I also don't know how long it really lasted. Just based on that and the forever-rain we experienced prior to this mission, we probably shouldn't ever mess around with anyone or anything from Atlantis.
