Kim was sent into the Shadow run, or rather volunteered to risk herself going in to fight waves of shadowy bodies that were going to be sent after her. A sane person would have realized it was a stupid thing to do, but her? Nah, that would involve a level of self care she was still working on. Plus she had read that if she wanted to use a Runic weapon she would have to prove she could handle it.
Basic Hand Torch
Difficulty level: Basic
Battle Effect: Once per battle, a player may choose to roll a 4-sided dice. This is the amount of additional damage that the player does for the next TWO turns. The torch will add additional fire damage to the Hunter's existing weapon.
Non-battle Effect: The torch will act as additional fire damage stacked on to a Hunter's weapon. It also functions well on its own as a beacon.
Requirements: Complete any mission and survive 5 waves of attacks in the training course Shadow Run

Knowing that to be trusted with such an item meant that she would have to prove herself on the course, she bit the bullet and headed in, looking over the training grounds. She could see that it was going to be quite a test and was willing to do her best to make it through.
