Kim not surprisingly was fast to arrive. She walked over to Melvin and nodded, taking a deep breath before looking at the gear. "Well this will be fun. The tree ignored me the last few times I went there, so let's hope it works better this time."

She knelt down and looked in one of the packs to see what was inside of it, then grabbed a life jacket. Ugh, she hated these things but without one she would be a lead weight. Even with one it may not be a good thing. Time would tell, although having made it there a few times, she knew that she could do it. Even if she needed to borrow a raft or something. "This will be fun.."

What the ******** did you wear to a mission that involved swimming through a storm and hostile enemies to an island that wasn't exactly easily accessible even at the best of times? Hell if Soleil knew. She'd gone through her entire wardrobe--what littler there was to go through--twice, before finally just settling on a bathing suit top, a pair of spandex capris, and the most lightweight sneakers she had available to her. Her hair had been drawn back into a pair of tight french braids

Bjorn was rumbling unhappily at the back of her mind as she showed up to the beach. She didn't know what to expect, but if this was anything like their orientation...Well, Bjorn was right to be worried.

Henry hadn't been there for the initial meeting, but he'd heard about it. Atlantis was angry at them over something being taken and then going missing, and now they needed to find that item and try to return it. It all seemed straight forward enough, but he really doubted it'd be that simple. Nothing was ever that easy. Especially not here.

Puffing out a nervous sigh, the young trainee arrived on the beach in a pair of swim trunks and a tee-shirt. He wasn't sure if that'd be enough, but honestly, he hadn't been able to think of anything else he had that might be useful. He didn't have any runics yet, or much of anything really.

He didn't know Melvin, nor anyone else that was currently there, so he stood off to the side, just beneath the cover of the tent. Watching and waiting.

Merric, Nash and October were all there somewhere but their RPer was on her phone when she posted this and will fix it later because effort.

Henry spun around at the sound of that very familiar voice, an instant smile spreading across boyish features, only to have it slip, just a bit, at the sound of his weapon snicking quietly at the back of his mind. It left him looking just faintly puzzled as he headed over to meet the petite Sun trainee. "Hi Cami."

And then he frowned in earnest as he noticed the bags attached to her belt. "Oh, that's a great idea." One he wished he would have thought of. He'd managed to find a little ziploc for his phone, unsure as to whether or not hunter phones were more resistant to water damage than normal phones, but he definitely hadn't thought to bring a change of clothing or a pair of shoes.

Oh well, too late now. He'd have to remember for next time.

His disappointment over not being as clever didn't linger. He was genuinely happy to see her, especially looking less devastated than the last tie he'd seen her. "Uh, how are you doing?" Even still, there was a note of hesitation to the question, afraid that asking might bring it all back again, and he really didn't want to see her crying for a number of reasons, not all of which he fully understood.

The message had gotten to him mid-nap so Rhys headed over after getting properly dressed for what he expected to be a freezing cold beach day and potential dive. He wore a full wetsuit and board shorts because he needed the pockets for his phone, and then flat shoes that seemed suitable enough for swimming. The tent set up on the beach seemed to be where everyone was heading toward so he just followed, and once inside his thoughts echoed what some younger hunter said about hating the rain. They all probably did at this point.

He bypassed the two shorties and went straight for the gear, nodding at Melvin to show that he at least acknowledged that the guy was standing there before grabbing what he needed and getting out of the way.

The trainee could only keep on nodding to greet any familiar faces around him now that his hands were full, but he soon turned his attention to putting on what gear he could put on. Kim's words got a snort out of him, ******** that. If we were gonna leave anyone behind we should'a just gone with that hostage plan."

Kim was actually a bit surprised to hear someone was against leaving her behind. She looked around till she located the source of the voice. "It may be better to leave me there. I am not exactly good to take along under water. My actions have left me more like a lead weight than a swimmer." She sighed. "I stole the bloody artifact, I brought the water monsters and my punishment, outside the obvious is that.. water and I are no longer even slight companions." She made a gesture at the water. "I would be a danger to anyone trying to bring me down."

There a full confession. She was now open to comments on it.

Terry had arrived in time to hear Kim's confession. And his only reaction to it was a deep, deep sigh of resignation, before reaching to hold her hand. "You stay behind, I'm dragging you back." His voice sounded like he was reading the labels of a food packaging.




Joy brought bandages, along with other miscellaneous things that might help them on the mission. She wasn't her usual cheerful self, even when she spotted Seren and Rhys. This was, after all, a really serious mission and they were going to deal with not only Atlantis but that crazy a** tree that Joy wished they could just chop down. She moved to stand beside her friend.
