Character: Lieutenant VesuvianiteAction: still grabbing Ilmari, trying to ground them both, grinning at Albite because he and Albite are doing awesome at this whole saving their fellow officers thing Vesuvianite scowled a little bit when the gravity thing tried to take Ilmari further, but he had a fairly good grip on the situation now, at least, especially thanks to Albite. He grinned at Albite. "Nice job," he said.

Character: Dunnottar, Page of LysitheaAction: more screaming. -1 to his roll from last time. thinks he is very much dying. The ceiling opened up. The cold vacuum of space seemed to reach in, grab him, and hurtle him out. Panic clouded his thought processes and he no longer cared about anything but getting back to safety, one way or another. He looked to Lanting again, who was now unbearably close and looking at him like he was... Like he'd been worried. Like he actually cared if Dunnottar slipped away and died. Despite everything that had happened. They were new people now. Or at least, he and Lanting were. He wasn't sure what the broken horns demon was on about, but that didn't matter. He reached out to Lanting, grabbing his hand. At least if they were to float away, they'd float away together. Only now did he realize at some point in his frantic flailing that his glasses had taken it upon themselves to float off somewhere, and that Lanting's face was blurry. ********. That would be expensive to replace—he shuddered, pulling himself closer to Lanting. "I'm sorry," he said hoarsely, trying to look Lanting in the eye. His stupid prescription was complex, after all the head injuries as a child. His vision slid out of focus and he blinked hard, trying to see more than multicolored smudges against the inky black and white, shining stripes of stars. "I can't—I can't—"

Character: Super Monoceros, White Moon Senshi of PorcupinesAction: +1 to his roll from last time. hanging on, barely, and talking with nagyagite Monoceros frowned bemusedly, then realized that perhaps this guy didn't know about the soulless ginger joke. Well, it wasn't that big a deal, in all honesty. Especially when— He yelped a little when things and people started flying up and out, into space, because the giant queen kosopod had destroyed the ceiling. ********. That was not good, not good at all, and with his heart in his mouth, he reached for Nagyagite's hand, not hesitating for a moment to take him up on his offer of help. Of helping each other. Nagyagite seemed like the good sort. A small painting floated by him and instinctively, he grabbed for it and tucked it against his side with only a glimpse of what was actually on it. Some landscape, that much he knew. He shook, holding tightly to Nagyagite. "Thanks. Yeah, uh, I don't think I'll ever talk to this guy again," he said weakly, giving a small smile that felt brittle even to him. "Almadel is off his rocker if he thinks I'm ever helping his sorry a** again. Bump that, man."

DSS Corvina of WindflowersDice Roll: 3. Action: Protecting Lanting. Look, it’s not his fault that “protecting Lanting” currently means “pushing Dunnottar away from him and being 100% okay with the possibility of Dunnottar dying in the void of space.” (………I mean. It’s kind of his fault. He could easily choose not to do this. He’s not gonna, but he could, if he had an entirely different upbringing, personality, and set of deep space traumas in his life.) Everything had been going so perfectly for a moment in there. True, the gravity had still been broken, but Corvina had had Lanting safely held to his chest. They were going to find a pocket of proper gravity soon and then return to the floor, Corvina had felt certain of this. And until that happened, he’d felt completely prepared to hold Lanting close while Dunnottarr (probably) seethed in impotent fury about how insufficient and awful he was as a person.
(These things that Corvina had made up in his head needed to be true, he reasoned, because Dunnottar had committed the unforgivable crime of Making Lanting Sad. Him being a terrible person whom no one would ever love was the only thing that made sense. Yes, Corvina had cracked the code with absolutely no evidence or clues beyond his own belief in things that he had decided before even getting close enough to really count as “dealing with Dunnottar.”)
The kosopod queen, however, had had other plans.
Thanks to her, the museum started coming apart, and commotion ensued. If some of the wretches who’d sold their souls to Chaos got sucked out into the void and died, so much the better. Corvina wouldn’t have cared at all if he’d managed to keep a firm hold on Lanting—and he tried his best. But the void of space tried even harder. He gasped as Lanting slipped out from beneath his arms and against his chest. Realizing what happened, he flushed hot with purpose and determination. Lanting had every valid reason to put Corvina out, especially after learning what Corvina had once done to Zhiheng. But he hadn’t put Corvina out like that.
Corvina didn’t understand Lanting or why he did most of the things he did. But he threw himself after Lanting in a series of jumps, keeping himself stable throughout by clinging to various mostly stable-seeming museum fixtures with reckless abandon (and absolutely no concern for any efforts shaped like preservation). He didn’t care about the way his fuku’s long-sleeved robe would get ripped from him using it to pull himself through the broken gravity field and closer to his landing points. Whatever it took, Corvina couldn’t afford to let Lanting slip away. Letting him go simply was not an option.
That commitment filled Corvina with a dark, cold rage as he got closer. As he saw Dunnottar’s hand grabbing at Lanting, trying to drag Lanting off into the void with him. Snarling, Corvina looped his robe around a statue’s neck and dove after Lanting.
His other hand quickly found its way to Lanting’s waist. But before he could get too comfortable, Corvina had some trash to take care of. Although he said nothing, he glared right at Dunnottar’s face while swatting his hand off Lanting and away from him. Then, dropping that arm back to Lanting’s waist, Corvina worked the other hand down his robe, pulling them back into the museum.
Whatever happened to Dunnottar sounded like Dunnottar’s problem. Maybe he’d have the good sense to die and save everybody else the trouble. That sounded ideal to Corvina, personally.Noir Songbird Lanting~ emotion_bigheart

Dark Mirror Super Sailor Asuka Roll: 1 + 1 = 2; getting sucked out, but managing to stay in Currently: grabbing onto the stand fort he bust irenaea knocked over, calling for her friends
Oh, this was bad. This was so, so, so bad. Asuka really, really wanted to stick with her friends but with a wall blown out--that was gonna be pretty difficult.
The good news was, she was still near the stand for that heavy bust--and so when she started to get sucked towards the hole, she launched herself towards it, glad for her still-steady footing, and desperately grabbed on, hoping it would keep her anchored.
It hurt. Her back and shoulders wrenched. But she wasn't getting sucked into space--and that was enough.
She'd lost track of her friends, and that stung--but hopefully they were still nearby, still able to hold on, that they didn't need her help. Because Asuka wasn't sure she had any to offer. This whole situation was such a total disaster--she really, really hoped that Almadel thought it was all worth it, because she wasn't sure that any reward their weird hot space dragon friend could offer would equal out almost getting sucked into vacuum.
"Hela! Irenaea!" She sohuted their names, hoped they would hear her--hoped that when this was over, if they made it out, they would all be able to find each other again.
That was all she had, really--a desperate hope that sat in her chest.

Transcended Eternal Sailor Kerberos Roll: 1; sucked into space Currently: on a magical trip through the stars, doing his best to stay positive
Oh.
This was....this was quite bad.
Okay, alright,t hat was a massive understatement--Kerberos was still getting back to his feet after his little floaty adventure, and his tailbone ached something fierce--he'd have to heal himself some when he got back to Earth--when the wall ripped out because of the Queen's ferocity.
Jet and Ida seemed to have done their jobs, taken her down--but now there was no wall and they were exposed.
And Kerberos found himself ripped off his feet and out into the vacuum.
Well. That was an ignominous end.
He squeezed his eyes shut, and prayed that, despite the fact that vacuum was very bad for bodies, it didn't hurt too much--and was surprised when, after a few terrifying seconds, he was not, in fact, a splat.
He opened his eyes.
And he was floating.
It felt less like what he'd imagined the frozen vacuum of space would feel like, and more like floating underwater--and all around him, there were so, so many stars.
Alright. So maybe this wasn't the situation in which to be overwhelmed by the vastness of the heavens. But Kerberops couldn't help himself. Couldn't help but admire everything he was seeing.
It was beautiful out here, with so many stars, so many worlds--he felt overwhelmed, but only int he best of ways.
Perhaps this wasn't so terrible a fate after all.
And then Kerberos looked further, and his stomach dropped.
The lightning storm was far, yes--but dark, looming, and ominous. And whatever that was---he felt sure, in his heart, that they would see its ripples on Earth, one way or another.
A sobering, terrifying thought.

Sonora, Squire of Ida Roll: 2; being pulled Currently: hanging onto Cryptomelane for dear life
Sonora held on.
It was all she could do, in the face of the wall being ripped out and there seeming to be a very one-way ticket to deep space. She clung onto Cryptomelanes' hand as if it was her only lifeline--and truth be told, it probably was. It hurt, to keep straining to hang on against being pulled--her shoulder and her arm ached, and when she brought her other hand around to wrap around his arm and hold on tighter, the fear and the ache brought tears to her eyes.
But she held on.
Held on while Cryptomelane fumbled for his inhaler but kept them both grounded. Held on no matter what.
And when he said her name, she took a shaky breath.
"I'm right here," she said. "Um. Sorry about your arm, I might have bruised it a little."
Considering her absolute deathgrip.

Deep Space Eternal Sailor Daedalus Roll: 3 - 1 = 2; pulled out to space, but manages to save himself! Currently: hanging onto a heavy artifact!
With almost losing them before, Daedalus took a moment to cram his roleld up jacket with the kosopods inside into his subspace, hoping that they would be alright in there.
(If they weren't, well....he tried.)
It seemed he made that decision not a moment too soon--because the wall ripped open, and Daedalus had to scramble.
The heavy metallic artifact that had first caught his eye--it was still nearby, and in desperation, he grabbed onto it.
It worked. It held. He did not get pulled out, even if his shoulder wrenched and he knew he'd have to baby it for a few days.
At least he wasn't going out into the black.

General BenitoiteAction: Knocked off his feet, going for Kafka to keep them both grounded. Roll: 3 Things had been progressing rather quickly and now the queen, who was something fierce in appearence, had decided not just attack one or two people but to endanger them all. With her flailing about she put a hole right in the wall - a hole that led right out into space. The shaking sent him to the ground, taken by surprise byy the violent shaking of the place, his head whipped around trying to locate the source of the shaking. Cursing the blond saw objects and people being pulled into space, he had not seen the queens flailing about, but he did see bits of marble landing on the floor and some being pulled into space. Ducking as a piece of marble headed his way, turning to watch it crash into a display case, the blond lifted his hand the sheild himself from flying glass that headed out the gaping opening into space.
Scrambling to his feet it was decided that he needed to put some distance between himself and the opening, as things went floating out into space. Frantic and looking around, he heard glass shattering near by, and turned to see Kafka hanging onto a glass case. Oh god! Kafka was safe, what a relief. Letting out a breath the blond reached for the hand that Kafka had extended in his direction. Pulling himself towards the others, his gloved hand gripping the others hand.
Once close enough he gripped at the display case. "You aren't hurt? The glass..." Looking over the corrupt eternal, wanting to make sure they were safe, stormy eyes took in the others uniform looking for any rips or tears which might indicate an injury in the area.
"I don't know what's out there...but I don't like this." Weren't there stories of the vaccume of space and how people would just...die if sent into space without suits and such? Was that the fate of those who went out there just now? Shuddering at the thought Alexandre moved to cling to Kafka and keep the other in place, circling an arm about Kafka while using the other to hold onto the case, so he could keep them both from being pulled into space. Deep Space Eternal SelinurAction: Roll: 3 "s**t!" Cursing as the queen was attacked, and decided to throw a fit, the ancient senshi was makign his way towards the queen in the hopes to settle things before it got too far out of hand. He heard the merchant speaking but the voice was cut off as the flailing queen, who was leaking acid from her underbelly, destroyed the building and the pull of space ripped into the building and started to pull people, kosopods, items and more into space itself. Another curse past his lips as he went to grab something floating by himself, some artifact or another, and he held tight to it as a chunk of marble hit the ground near him causing Selinur to jump and avoid his feet being hit by any pieces which broke off.
Jumping up seemed to be the worst idea for him as he was grabbed by some force and pulled out towards space. As he was pulled up, and towards the opening, the blond reached out at the last moment and grabbed onto some of the remaining marble wall and held tight enough to pull himself close to the wall...close enough he could wrap his legs about the wall and cling to it with all his might. He was not being pulled out, even if this place might be safe, he was not risking himself. The object, of unknown origin and purpose, was held between his body and the wall he clung to, he was hoping to save whatever this object was so he could return it and ask about it - what it was and what it did...where it was from. If he saved something Selinur was hoping he'd get a full tour...once this place was safe. Maybe, if he was lucky, the merchant might let him help repair things and he could spend some time here learning and exploring everything here....
The idea was very tempting...very pleasing. Dark Mirror Eternal MelpomeneAction: Safe on the ground and now to help General Chalcanthite. Roll: 4 The shaking, and ripping and tearing sounds, Melpomene watched as marble broke away and a hold formed leading out into space. For a single moment he felt fear that he'd never felt before...didn't think as possible. Not just a fear for himself but for everyone in here, afarid that the whole place would tear about and they'd all wind up in space - dead. Instead he watched in horror as his fiance was torn him and sent up and into a wall where they hit hard.
"Chalcanthite." Calling out the blond had found himself on the ground, unmoving despite what was going on, as he frantically looked for anything he could use to grab the general and reel him back in.
His searching paid off as he went rummaging about in crates, as quickly as he could, as he could some sort of fabric which seemed to be fairly strong. Sending it up towards his partner. "Grab it and I'll pull upi back down! Hurry!." Calling out as he kept his blue eyes, frantic and worried, focused on the general who was drifting far too clsoe to the opening for his liking. "Please..." He whispered, hoping to save his partner, he couldn't let him drift off. He was afarid he'd never get him back...that once he left his building that would be the end. He had seen Brassite float off, he had lost her in all the chaos going on around him, he saw a kosopod sucked out into space - good riddance he thought. Eternal Corrupt Miyamoto.Action: Going into space, not at all enjoying this...kicking a kosopod. Roll: 2 Blue eyes had turned their focus away from the kosopod near him, something which looked like it wanted to nibble on his uniform, as something seemed to be going on across the way. Watching in slow growing horror as the queen was roared, someone must have attacked her, and and she started flailing and tghrowing herself into the fit she was having, enough to cause more shaking to the building. Letting the object he'd been holding onto go, in order to find something to grasp that seemed solid enough to not move, the corrupt watched in horror as a sick feeling settled in his stomach. This was going bad - very bad. The building trembled and the wall was being destroyed...the wall which seperated them from space.
Shaking his head slowly, wide eyes staring, he had a really bad feeling about all this. As the wall gave way, and the queen was pulled into space, a chunk of marble came hurtlign toward Miyamoto and sent him to the ground - and he was pulled up off the ground and towards space. Trying to grasp something - anything he was not one for giving up and for a brief moment he had a hold of something...it gave out. It let go and joined him in his journey into space.
As he left the building and found himself in space Miyamoto expected a swift, and painless, death but instead he found himself drifting and soon as trying to right himself so he could orient himself properly. Dark blue eyes took note of the bubble, some sort of sheild he assumed, though it seemed damaged it was holding - for now. For a moment his gaze lingered on it before drifting to the stars beyond...to the asteroids around them and the stars beyond that. He'd given up on going to space - ever. He'd corrupted and with it the chance of going to space was gone...or so he'd thought. This was not what he wanted, this was another reason to hate space, and yet it was still beautiful and breaktaking to see...to witness. Humans turned their gazes up to the stars all the time, even he did, and never did they see things like this. To see something like this made a person feel so very small....and to see space how just how vast it was and how beautiful and terrible.
As a kosopod drifted by he took a moment to kick at it, his fustration still there as well as the upset over the stress this was causing him. Had anyone else being pulle dout felt like they were going to die from a heart attack before anything else could kill them? His heart was only just starting to beat a bit more regular and the kosopod got to feel his upset over this undue stress. "You should all just die already." Growled out as the bug drifted past him, hopfully it was sore from his kick, but he was focusing back on the view they were presented. Looking at everything it wasn't long before he did spot something...way far out. Something dark and that was...a storm maybe? He wasn't certain because he wasn't certain if such was even possible. For now his bloody arm, with glass shards imbedded in it, was ignored though that also was because he wasn't moving it about. He was babying it so it didn't hurt or bleed more, he'd handle it once they were back on Earth safely.

Eternal Sailor Alastor Action: Holding onto Sessrumnir and tumbling into space
Alastor wasn’t going to let Sessrumnir go anywhere. At least, not alone.
His grip was strong. He probably could have pulled Sessrumnir back and kept him from being sucked out into space.
Except, between something bumping into him and the metal he was hooked onto bending, it seemed like the universe was working against them.
‘Hold on,’ he said, almost as if at peace. He could have kept Sessrumnir barricaded against the display, but they were being pelted with all sorts of debris, and just before a box could slam into them, he let the current carry them.
He held onto Sessrumnir tightly and pressed his face into the crook of his neck. He didn’t care if anyone saw them like this. He was strong enough to protect himself, and Sessrumnir was the same. An enemy of one of them was the enemy of both, anyway.
‘Just focus on me. I know you can’t choose your memories, but try not to focus on them. Focus on me, now. I’ll never let anything happen to you. We’re together. Nothing’s going to tear us apart. It’s unconventional, but we’re safe. I’ve got my phone, I can always take us back to Alastor. It’s the press of the button, it’s not time at all. Can you feel the necklace like that? I’m calm. Not even faking it.’
He held Sessrumnir tightly to his chest. ‘Can you feel my heart? It’s steady. I’m not afraid. We’ve got this all under control. We’ll be home and safe soon. But you’re with me, here, now. If you can’t get rid of those bad memories, just let me focus on some of our better ones. And hold onto the promise of all the time we’ll have after this to make new ones.’
They made it through the hole in the wall without scraping against it, and from there it was just a matter of–
Well, floating. Peacefully, in space. With the Kosopods drifting further away it felt like the only danger was–
Nothing, really.
The asteroids kept ricocheting off of Almadel’s barrier, and the Kosopods were so small that they were slipping away.
He had a good view of everything in space. They weren’t tumbling or spinning haphazardly–they were just gently floating. It felt like laying atop the surface of a lake.
Of course, for everything beautiful in the sky, there were a few things that caught Alastor’s eye.
‘...Are you okay?’ he asked, even as he tried to memorize every detail around them. He didn’t know where they were, none of this looked familiar.
He didn’t know if anything he saw was important but he didn’t want to miss it.

Connie, Squire of Chronos Action: Rolled 2 (-1) Being pulled out into space rip. Connie squeaked in surprise when she felt her foot grabbed, but she didn’t kick since she knew it was Targovishte trying to help!
“Oh! Thank you, please be careful!” she gasped. And now Belmont was floating too!
Oh… it probably was going to be fine. At least until the wall busted open and everyone started getting pulled out. She gasped and held on tight, hoping that they wouldn’t all get sucked out into space but--
They were. And there were others too. And the horrible bugs! But… it was so beautiful.
And she could breathe.
“Are you seeing this?” she gasped again, hoping Belmont and Targoviste were okay, but… everything looked so beautiful and terrifying at the same time. There were things beyond her imagination, and was unsure of what to be worried most about at the moment.
Being sucked into space with a bunch of alien bugs, the asteroid field pelting them with rocks, or whatever was out in the distance.------------------------- Sessrumnir, Knight of JupiterAction: In space. Sessrumnir didn’t need a reminder of how much he disliked being off the ground. In water, when he had full control, was another story. But floating? He could feel the drop, the heat of explosion, the pressure of being pulled--
But he also knew that Alastor had him, and was holding onto him. He wasn’t sure if he could get a chance to breathe or think beyond what Alastor was saying to him, but he was trying.
Alastor wasn’t afraid, even as they were sucked out into space. He was calm. Sessrumnir could feel his heart. He could hear his thoughts.
It was enough. At least enough for him to stay calm, to ground himself and his thoughts.
He’d pressed his face against Alastor’s shoulder when he’d first wrapped his arms around him, but he couldn’t ignore the images being shared, intentional or not, through the earrings.
‘I’m okay,’ he promised, ignoring the way his heart was still racing and he felt like he was trembling a bit. But that was really not bad compared to what it could have been.
‘Have you ever seen anything like this?’ he couldn’t help but ask, his eyes now lingering on the places Alastor’s had.

Half-youma General Lavendulan Action:Being pulled out of the museum holding an artifact and trying to reach for Jet. Curled into a ball, Lavendulan could feel the sting of tears p***k the corner of her eyes. For a time she’d thought that death would come by the hand of a Knight, but after her promotion and her attention and research turned toward the Rift instead of patrolling Destiny City, she had come to assume that a Youma would spell her end or that she would become one herself. Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined that this would be her grave. For now, she could breathe but that remaining fortune may not last if the fractured barrier finally failed. By some miracle, Lavendulan had not collided with anything. But as she found herself staring almost helplessly out beyond the pale blue shield, out where the sea of stars shone like pulverized gemstones and a black lightning storm that reminded her much of the Rift, she heard a voice. It’ll be alright, can either of you reach? She looked over her shoulder, a motion she regretted, and saw Jet with a hand reached out towards her. Wounded as she was with injuries unseen, Lavendulan hesitated. Embarrassed and ashamed that she’d been so easily swarmed and overwhelmed by the Kosopods and offered no aid against the queen, she found it difficult to find the courage to look at him let alone Aquamarine who had been pulled out with him. As a General she should have done more… Surely Aqua would criticize her for it later, after all, he was an expert at pointing out others' faults, at least that was her experience with him anyway. After shifting the artifact to her other arm, Lavendulan, still kind of curled in a ball, reached an arm out to Jet if only so she didn’t drift away alone- or so she rationalized her decision to accept help. The Kosopods struggled fiercely, but even with their drive and determination they began to pass through the cracks in the shield encompassing the museum. The Queen was too small to escape unharmed. She slammed against against it and writhed chaotically. Somewhere in the midst of her thrashing, she damaged it enough that she too slipped beyond the barrier. Beyond the shield, she seemed helpless. For a moment, she was still. An asteroid touched her back end and seemed to awaken her. Once again as lively as before, she twisted–and then, great wings sprouted from her back. She seemed annoyed once more and let out one last horrible screech. The Kosopods simultaneously froze, and then in tandem a disgusting slime secreted from under their shells and seemed to melt a thin layer off of their backs and then they–summoned by her call–they shot through space after her. And then, it was just a field of people, floating aimlessly towards the shield. Asteroids, mostly small, continued to pelt it. Space surrounds them, massive and eternal. It looks like you could drift forever. And then, you don’t. Whereas the Kosopods slipped through the shield with no effort, it cradles every person who gets too close. It’s hard, like a wall, but no one ever seems to collide with it. After a moment, it seems like it’s shrinking, slowly inching back towards the museum. Almadel’s voice, loud and clear both inside and out: “I think that’s the last of them, isn’t it? Oh, look at this mess. Hold on out there, I’ve got you. You’re all safe, just give me a moment.” Inside the museum, the gravitational field were still distorted but the air pressure changed suddenly, and thankfully no one was being sucked out of the hole in the wall anymore. Almadel actually seemed like he had it under control. For now. It took a good minute for things to really calm down; he walked out of a back room holding a control in one hand and a golden rope in the other. With the controller, he seemed to be bringing the shield closer, and though he gave a pained look at the state of his museum, he at least had the decency to focus on everyone who came to help him. The distortions in the gravitational field never seemed to affect him. He found a location that gave him a good vantage point through the hole in the wall, and with his golden rope he lassoed each and every one of the drifters and pulled them back into the museum. There, they floated–but they and every other guest in the museum would find themselves slowly drifting back towards the ground. At this point, it seemed like everyone in the side rooms had finished up as well. Some of them had destroyed the Kosopods. Some of them had captured them. As long as they weren’t loose in the museum, Almadel didn’t really care what happened to them. It was only after everyone was back inside that the shield started to spread again. Almadel grumbled under his breath and fixed a small bag to the tip of his rope, and when he threw it again it stretched right to the hole–and exploded, right into a silvery net. He looked like this pained him, and as he rolled up his golden rope–which was shrinking in size now just as it had expanded at will before–he sighed. “Oh, this is horrible. I mean, wonderful, yes. But horrible. You all did such a good job–” He looked at the little machine in his hand and pressed a few buttons, but it was only after it pinged decisively that he allowed himself to actually seem a little relieved. “It’s not reading an infestation. So I think it will be manageable. But oh, my poor museum. I don’t suppose I can convince any of you to help me clean up, can I?” He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth but he wasn’t clinging to the idea. He looked at the broken statues. The shattered glass. The artifacts strewn all over the floor. The chipped wood on the banister, the torn rugs, the acid soaked marble. The giant hive in the corner of the wall. “..I can fix this,” he said, but it was with dread and exasperation. “I suppose it was foolish to dream that it might just resolve itself without issue. It’s not the worst infestation I’ve ever had. But it’s worse than I thought it would be. You all came right in time. I don’t know what I would have done if it was worse. Do you–some of you have them in boxes…I hope you’re planning on tossing them? …Actually, I don’t care what you do. If you seal the boxes and leave them with me, I’ll take care of them. Just right over there in that corner, please. But please make sure the boxes are sealed.” His mind was going a mile a minute and he shifted positions and pressed a few more buttons on his little controller, but whatever he was scanning or searching or tinkering with seemed to be keeping him busy. “...Oh, my poor museum,” he muttered occasionally, “All my treasures…” And then, he lowered the device. The gravitational field seemed to have normalized and everyone was back on the ground. “I promised you a few things, didn’t I? Oh yes, that we could talk. And,” he sighed wearily, “Compensation. Ah,” his head almost seemed to droop, undoubtedly from the great grief he felt at seeing his collection so disturbed. He was quick to bounce back, though. He lifted his head and smiled again. Between his fingers he held a pearly white card. “How about this? It’s my calling card. It’s special. I do not give this one out to just anyone. Only my very close friends. Of which, you all must consider yourself.” He was not shy with his praise and nodded sagely, like this was a fact they should relish, and probably pat themselves on the back for. “I don’t know if I can repay many favors right now, but what if I make you a promise that I’ll come to you when things calm down? I always make good on my offers, so you can trust that I’ll fulfill my end of the bargain. I can offer a great many things, of course. Practically anything your heart desires. Need to take a trip somewhere? I’m your man. Looking for a rare collectable? I’ll get it. Just need company? I can do that too. Come, let me get you each one of these. And I’ll answer any of your questions. And when you’re ready to go home, you need only think it. You’re welcome to stay for longer, if you like. Especially if you want to help me straighten up.” Quote: Congratulations, you have (mostly) saved Almadel’s museum! He will have a lot of work to do to clean things up but he has promised fair compensation in the form of his calling card–a unique and rare IC Item! Quote: Almadel’s Calling Card - A glossy, white card. In elegant script, Almadel is written in shimmering opalescent ink. On the other side, a holographic circle. Almadel’s personalized, magical calling card. This item can be used to summon him anywhere, any time. You simply need to place your thumb over the holographic circle on the back of the card and he will almost immediately arrive. He has a unique magic that allows him to travel to otherwise difficult or impossible to reach locations. This might be an unnamed/unclaimed/random location in space. He may be able to travel to locked or inaccessible locations on Wonders or Homeworlds and he can even reach homeworlds and Wonders of Chaos locations. He cannot reach some specific meta locations but he may be able to get close enough to view or observe certain conditions. Players can inquire about these but are cautioned that others may be investigating the same meta location so information is not first come first serve. Staff will attempt to give something unique for all RPs, though. Every visit has a time limit; Almadel’s magic does not work for long and he can only carry one person at a time per card. He can do group RPs but all participants must have a card. This card can also be used to summon Almadel for information or for bargain/trade. This item will be earnable again in the future. Because this is a very powerful ability, plots will need thorough approval with staff before use. Please PM The Space Cauldron with your character and what they would like to gain from Almadel. We will work with you to plot things out! This is a one time use item that cannot presently be purchased but will be available again in the future. You must get staff approval to use this item but we will be happy to work with everyone! At this point in time, the RP can be considered closed however characters can continue to RP and talk with Almadel. Characters involved in side-rps will be able to join the closing post as well. This RP will be closed for new posts at ~6PM EST Sunday, July 7th but this is the last plot driven prompt. Everything else is free form and totally optional. To claim the IC RP Item you must have written at least 1000 words in the ORP if you did not go into a side RP, or 500 words in this RP as well as your side RP. This item can be claimed once by every character who meets the above qualifications, so it is possible for a player to gain multiples of these items. At this point in time, even if you continue to RP in this thread, the RP is considered closed and can be used on Bingo Boards, to claim a ticket, or used for growth, as long as you have 500 words written. Remember, writing 500 words in this RP in the Intro or Closing post counts as a regular, and writing 500 words during the ORP battle counts as a battle requirement. Players who stayed in the ORP and wrote 1000 words and did not do a side ORP can get 2 RP growth requirements from this single RP, however it only counts as 1 ticket and 1 RP for the Bingo board. Similarly, if players wrote 500 words in the ORP and moved into a side RP, the ORP will count as a regular RP requirement and the side RP will count as a battle RP provided 500 words were written in both. Only the ORP or the side RP can be used for a ticket, and only one of them can be used on the Bingo Board. If your character gathered a Kosopod and wants to free it - Almadel has a designated spot for them. You can leave your Kosopod there and, though it will be handwaved, before everyone leaves to return to Earth Almadel will release them through the hole. If your character is keeping a Kosopod - please PM The Space Cauldron so we can approve a plot to do so! Kosopods are incredibly dangerous but there are circumstances where they can be kept. A few things will need to be kept in mind: They are not pets and cannot be domesticated. They care about eating and breeding and do not seem to develop true personalities. They will probably eat you if given the chance. They can only be kept on Earth provided you have adequate protection against their acid, otherwise they can escape any container. Kosopod shells are immune to their acid, and they shed semi-regularly depending on how much they are eating. Mauvians, Vanguardians, and characters who are skilled in relevant fields may build proper enclosures. Kospods cannot be released into the wild on Earth and should never escape. Kosopods will not breed unless a player sends in a PM for permission. Kospods can be six inches to two feet around. They will get along if kept with others of their kind and seem to prefer company but larger Kosopods don’t mind being on their own. Kospods will eat anything. Kosopods can be released into space and they will eventually find their swarm or make new ones. Kosopods can be taken to Homeworlds or Wonders, and the rules may change somewhat based on plot approval, so if you have something in mind please send it in! We just ask that players please be respectful of our need to keep Destiny City (and Earth) safe; while you can bring them back to Earth, please do not do so with the intention to try and disturb the peace! If you have any questions, please send them to the mule! If you are keeping a Kosopod, please PM The Space Cauldron before you bring them to Earth so we know who is taking them, where they are taking them, and confirming that they will stay in a Kosopod-safe location! While you can still join the ORP if you have not posted here before, you must handwave that you arrived with the rest of the group at the beginning of the ORP; there can be no late arrivals ICly. You can still do a Side RP but you cannot backdate new posts to respond to ORP prompts. If you are speaking to Almadel or interacting with the environment, please quote The Space Cauldron! Staff will tag as soon as possible but responses will probably start coming on Sunday the 30th.
