Akane’s lips twitched slightly at his responding smile as she had been anticipating a stronger reaction to her words. Then again, she had this entire battle to be able to find a sore point, since he had already claimed her as his partner for this particular fight. Watching with shrewd eyes as he approached her in a relatively slow speed, she rotated the zanpakuto in her hands, holding at a diagonal to protect herself in case he decided to attack. However, as he suddenly vanished from her sight, she was momentarily confused before getting a firm grasp on the situation. That was a smart move – to firstly feint and then really attack somewhere else. Her mind sifted through the possibilities as she settled on a place where he would appear. He would go for her back or somewhere near the back, as she would herself, since that was where she couldn’t properly see him. Surprisingly enough, she did not bother raising her arms or her legs in order to halt his attack. Unfortunately for her, she knew the weaknesses of this body and hand-to-hand combat was one of them. Sometimes, she had to admit that she wished that she was part of somebody else stronger and more resilient, but then again, it was likely that they would have been able to resist her intrusion. In a silent whisper, she muttered, “Take flight, Huang,” as her blade shifted into a bow, which she held comfortably in her hands.

Not wanting to take any chances with her spine, she shifted her body to the right, as the fist made contact with the left side of her back. Despite the fact that her Reiryoku defence managed to fend most of it off, ripples of pain still concentrated in that area and if anything, she was going to have a nasty bruise as a result of that tomorrow. Yet, the pain was helpful, not only for her Shikai, but it sharpened her mind, made her more aware of things and made her feeling somewhat…“Alive,” she voiced that thought aloud as she automatically upgraded her bow into a spear. Jumping back so that she was a far distance away from him, but close enough for her own purposes, she seized her spear with both hands as she swung it in a wide arc, aiming to hit him with momentum if possible. Fire shot from the middle of the weapons, swarming up towards the tip as it reached him. She sincerely doubted, however, that he would allow himself to be hit by something like that, so she prepared a Kido spell just in case of anything, pushing her energy towards that. After all, he would be able to dodge that quite neatly if he used a fraction of the speed that Elisia had seen before. Glancing briefly sideways, she noted silently the disappearance of Elisia’s sister as well as the appearance of another woman – a Captain, perhaps? Ah, Eriko. The help was…a little necessary for now and she didn’t say anything to the other woman, since there was really nothing to be said.

Kazuma was watching the fight with mild interest. After all, Jacques was barely using his full strength and he doubted the man would really need him. However, just as he was about to leave, a small glitter caught his eye, tracing the trajectory between Jac's wrist and just above his head. Before it landed above his head, he had correctly identified the object as an arrow, which made it funny for Kazuma, the long range specialist, to be caught off guard like that with a primitive bow and arrow. While his eyes were now staring into the distance, trying to find the shooter, he failed to notice the disappearance of the corpse that was once Suzume, zanpakutou and all. The added bonus for trying to find the bowman though gave him the focus to see the second arrow, easily having enough time to sidestep the projectile. Though he had managed to dodge it, it was ringing at an almost unbearably loud volume, quite the annoying little trick. The arrow though, curiously before he even touched the thing to examine it, began to dislodge from the wall it had implanted itself into, returning to some unknown entity. Staring at Akane and Jac as they were in the middle of their bout, he had to make a choice. Choosing to follow the arrow, he bids Jac farewell with the promise of his full recovery later after his victory over the Captain, easily catching up with the arrow and eventually, its shooter; Eriko.

"Yo~"

His voice was surprisingly calm to address his could have been murderer. Drawing both his pistols now, he stares into his opponents eyes, which were surprisingly reddened, as though she was depressed not too long ago. Still, he knew better then to inquire her about this and instead chose to stare at the mysterious white haired woman who was ferrying the dead body. "You have got a interesting way of getting a guy's attention....and why the hell are you carrying a corpse anyway?" It was easy to guess who killed Suzume. A hole in the middle of her chest and a man who wielded guns, easy to connect. He kept one gun aimed at Eriko while his other was targeting her spirit. Two on one were never good odds to anyone, but he figured he could manage.

User ImageEriko had not been keeping track of her surroundings as well as she should have. How else would you explain her skidding to a less than graceful stop when she heard someone calling out to her. The Captain turned around to face her chosen opponent. At some point, Cho had decided to show herself with Suzume in tow. She did not even flinch when the unknown Arrancar pulled out his weaponry, pointing one at each of the two visible girls. She listened to what he had to say and smiled a little at his question to Cho. It did not even bother her; the realization that this was the one to blame for the death of her successor. All she knew was that he had to be killed and that she had decided to do it. After he had had his say, Eriiko looked over at Cho, who was faring well with the weight of a dead person. Without having to move her lips, Eriko asked her spirit to carry the girl to the Jubantai grounds and return as quickly as possible. When the white-haired sprite turned on her heel with a nod, the Captain drew three arrows at once, knocking them about five times against the ring and lining them against the bow. She was so numb right now, despite how her outer appearance might counter that. She cocked her head to the side, indifferent before letting each arrow loose with separate targets in the span of five seconds: the crook beneath both extended arms as well as the base of the neck. As they left her, another trio was on board for the ride. She did not have time for any chitchat.

It appeared that Kaz's opponent was not up for chatting, which was all fine with him, but he preferred someone to talk to, be it an enemy or ally. However, Kazuma had to think this was a bit overkill. After all, three arrows at once in such short intervals? In that short span of second intervals, Kazuma had to focus long and good to correctly counter each arrow with the side of his guns, one for each arrow. The third he let loose his monstrous reiatsu and hierro take care of, by the time it reached the man, though he was only a few feet away, it barely scratched his skin, though succeeding in tearing a hole in his suit. With an inward groan he holds the arrow between his left hand. While his reiatsu wasn't as noticeable as Zeno's or Arian's, he was a tier on the top holders of monstrous reiatsu. The biggest problem was the fact that he really had no outwardly way of showing it until it came to defense. Unlike Hei's constricting reiatsu or Arian's fiery type, his was contained rather well, no real elemental type to speak of before his releases. Before she used that same ability to make her arrows withdraw back to her, Kazuma made sure to snap the one stuck in his suit in two, his free hand pointing the gun at Eriko, Without another word, seeing as how she wouldn't answer him anyway, he lets off two shots, the powerful ceros fired combined to form a much larger ball of energy. A battle between two ranged fighters never lasted long, but he didn't even know if this was her true ability or some trick she could do. Until he found out more about her skills, he would keep his skills hidden as well.

s**t... Hideki's eyes searched the area for various advantage spots, of which he could find none, when his fist was stopped by Zenos. As his fist made contact, Hideki noticed something different about Zenos, primely his ability to hold back his fist without moving. As Zenos spoke out 'Jaane' Hideki opened his lips, "Teme!" Once Zenos vanished, Hideki immediately took the defensive. With the auditory crack, his eyes functioned in slow motion to make any movement easier to react to. His eyes still had a difficult time registering the image, but Hideki made out Zenos appearing to his right and throwing a kick. To counter, Hideki moved his arms in a 'x' fashion to catch the kick, however his arms were not moving, at all, on the same speed plane as Zenos's leg and the kick smashed into his chest. A majority of Hideki's ribs broke, and his sternum cracked, causing a large amount of blood to be thrown from Hideki's mouth. Along with the internal destruction, Hideki was thrown back some 30 feet until he slammed into a near by wall, causing a shrapnel-type effect within his body, and a few bone shards would become lodged within his a few of his organs, causing him to yell out in pain.

His general area was surrounded by dust at this moment, and Hideki moved his right hand to pull down his Shihakusho, revealing a disfigured torso of a black and blue color. Hideki touched his fingers to it and took in a deep breath through his teeth from the pain, letting out a satisfied 'moan' afterwards. His finger tips slipped open and let a few needle thin wires slip out, slipping into his skin and running through his body like many little snakes. The snatched the bone fragments from his body and pulled them from his body, simultaneously releasing a healing liquid that would repair the internal damages. One by one the little wires twisted and slipped under Hideki's skin, pulling the deadly scraps out. Once the pieces were gone and out, they bound his ribs together and sped the ossification of the bone, fusing them. As the wires came out of his body, they soldered the wounds closed, leaving around a dozen of red-centimeter circles on his torso. Hideki touched his torso, it was still sore but the pain was bearable enough to keep moving. Taking from a pocket within his Haori, Hideki slipped a mild pain reliever into his mouth, aiding in the inflammation and pain coming from his torso. "Damn little bugger..." Hideki mumbled as he stood from the ruined wall, the dust starting to settle to nothing but a puff of dirt.

His eyes rolled over to view Zenos in their retina. Hideki shoved his right hand into the ground and grasped a large portion of it, rolling over idea's in his head, gritting his teeth as he did due to the pain medication not entirely kicked in yet. He felt a small change in the ground beneath his hand, which broke his train of thought. A stone pillar shot from under his right hand, dragging his body up with it. Hideki pushed down on his right hand, bringing his body up to a straight stand, so his face was looking to the ground and his legs were straight up in the air. His face projected a look of pain an pleasure, for his ribs were still sore, and that pain was far from muted. Hideki then broke his straight arm stand, bending down, and shot up into the air. He adjusted himself in air and looked towards Zenos. Lifting his right arm back, Hideki smirked and vanished. When he appeared, his fist was flying for Zenos's face and shouting, "Tadaima, Teme!!" As his fist flew, Hideki left this as an Bunshin made of light and appeared behind Zenos, with a gap of around 2 and a half feet between them with his fist pointed towards the man, causing the gap between his fist and Zenos's body to be around 3/4's of a foot. His fist would then flip up and fire three consecutive bullets tipped with Titanium-Steel Alloy tips and filled with a quick acting Neurotoxin that can be taken into the body in two ways: by expulsion into the tissues upon impact or by the pores. The effect through expulsion are almost immediate [1 post] through the pores, it normally takes a few minutes [2 posts] and will cause the victim to loose the ability to use limbs and various parts of the body for a period of time. Hideki smirked and licked over his teeth, for he had the itch to use his hollowfication but would refrain for now.

[Teme - b***h, Tadaima - Here I am [Normally used for coming home, but W/E]]
[The neurotoxin will take over some part of the body, whether it be a leg or arm, its up to the victims discretion, but, unless something is done to completely rid it from the body, it needs to do something. To clear that up.]

User ImageEriko sighed as her opponent still managed to parry her first two arrows and simply catch the third. She coughed a little under his sudden release of reiatsu and mimicked the action by allowing her reiryoku to spill out; it was one to induce fear mainly, pressure or not. With that taken care of, she was about to call them back when he broke one of her arrows. Hei was going to kill her...if he cared about such trivial things, of course. Her fingers raised to her lips again to whistle but she was interrupted by the sight of the formation of one, two of his Cero. Without much space to dodge the attack, Eriko called and grabbed her whole arrows before kicking a hole beneath her in the roof and fell through it just as the Cero blasted through her section of the roof. Not waiting to see if he had noticed her disappearance or for the rubble to collapse on her, Eriko dashed out of the building and took quickly to the maze of surrounding buildings before jumping onto another roof about two edifices to the Sephira's right. Since five hits had not made a scratch on the man except for tearing his suit, she opted for 400 kHz this time. However, instead of sending three arrows, she lined one and released it in his direction, aiming for the right thigh. There was no use to waste her arrows and put them in danger of being broken unnecessarily. As soon as the object left her fingertips, a green and black butterfly rested itself on her shoulder, stretching its wings.

"You need to calm down," the spirit voiced within her master's mind, "We can do this together."

"Tell that to the girl who does not have a broken heart, Cho," Eriko whispered, hardly moving her lips, while the exotic butterfly faded from sight. Deciding to take this up a notch, Eriko slipped on her bow and approached her opponent, Shunpo-ing from one rooftop to the next until she was within range of her target to twist her body with the intention of landing a kick to his solar plexus with her full left leg before placing an elbow punch to the plateau of the shoulder that was nearer to her, the hands joined so as to add greatly to the force behind the strike.

Jacques had felt someone else arrive, turning to meet an a bow raised at him. The speed of his punch would be quick enough for him to pull back just in time for it to get the bottom of his thumb and pierce in to the wall. He had been taken off guard by this new Shinigami and gave a glare. Jacques did get upset that someone else had stepped in to a fight that both had chosen a one-on-one for. He turns to Elisia, who now holds a spear, and swings it towards him. The fire at the end may not have worried Jacques so much, but would still give him a worry on if it could be able to burn through his armor. As the arc made it closer to his own self, he would move forward. Jacques, using his defensive hand attacks, simply raises an arm to block the weapon at the pole. He crouches as he does so and flattens his hand. Jacques eyed the middle of her chest and aimed his hand straight for it.

A couple of feet before his hand would strike, Jacques would try to twist his arm up and around the pole of the spear to lock in it place. He then looks up to the girl and a cero forms at his fingertips. "Jump back," are the words he would tell the young woman before he was ready to fire the Cero.

Instantly, she was aware that the Shinigami were invading when their respective reiatsu's appeared, she hadn't need of being told what was happening. The hindering effects of the Sotaicho's reiatsu were most unsettling to her, she has hindered to a point where she felt weak, though, this was mostly due to her not being in her Resurrección; she still felt like she was weak. Something her training hadn't helped her approve. She would hold off on releasing her sword - reverting back to her original self - since there weren't any Shinigami around to speak of... or she stand corrected.

With a quick turn of her heels, she could see that a Shinigami just walked around the corner of the ally, a Haori trailed him; it was the Shinigami who first fought with Sakuya. She remembered him quiet well for his unique sword specialty - something she was lacking in. His smirk made her pissed to say the least; she felt like he was underestimating her already. An air of arrogance befall this shinigami - even so far to say that he was too immature for his position. The duel reiatsu that she felt from him made her suspicions of them using Hollowfication on themselves were correct. "It appears, Vizard-san, that you're thinking because I am a woman, you've got it easy." She said, she was angry to a point; not far enough to lose her cool.

He would look down to draw his Katana, an almost amateur move to say the least of someone of his caliber. Neida instantly was releasing her Reiatsu and entering her Resurrección, just before her used an incredibly fast Shunpo, she had used her Gemelos Sonído to make a clone that would take the attack of his Senka, a move that did not seem like it belong to an amateur. As he had appeared behind the disappearing clone, she look at him with a curl of her lips. "Well played Shi-, I mean, Vizard. I would have no one to shed a tear for me for my death. And I do not honestly care; for you see, my loyality on life belong to the Sephira; the troubling matters that you spoke of do not hinder me." She was turned around facing him, still on the solid ground. Neida lunged forward, and drew her elbows behind her. She would use a quick dash in her Resurrección to close the small gap between them, and right at the last second, Sonido behind him and deliver a round house kick to the side of his neck (her sheen would touch his neck), aiming to snap neck. If some how his neck was reinforced with something, she would fall toward the ground quickly and punch forward with a left fist, then with a right, until that had happened three times with both arm. Where her feet were planted, an indention in the ground appeared with the force that she brought into her punches by using her entire body as a means of an attack for each blow. The sleek appearance she bore when she was in her Resurrección was apparent to anyone with eyes. The mask that was covering almost half of her face could be considered beautiful to any art freak, and her hair was the same to an extent. Her bare feet would not callused, bruised, or blemished in anyway from being directly used. As she drew her last left fist back from the series of attacks, she made one exhale as she did so.

Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The gods trembled

Fifty-fifty, thought Hibiki, those were the odds that his Bakudo combo would strike as intended, then again at this point Hibiki barely knew what Zenos was fully capable of so he was more or less just playing with numbers rather than actually calculating the odds. Since he was obstructed by his own Bakudo spell, Hibiki could only guess the outcome of his spells; however, upon hearing Zenos’ insult, he guessed that his plan was unsuccessful. Then, his hands swiftly went towards his forearms, pushing back his sleeves and revealing his Mokinrui. He honestly doubted its efficiency; however he was going to need every arsenal he had if he was going to stand against Zenos in a one-on-one. Of course this was before Hideki’s arrival. As Hibiki heard the Captain’s voice as he yelled out his attack, he was a tad bit more confident now that at least he wouldn’t be fighting alone.

Realizing that staying in the cloud didn’t help in one bit-- seeing as how Zenos was still able to block his Hyapporankan from there-- Hibiki dashed back out of the cloud to get a good view of the battle. Just as he exited the red smoke, Hibiki heard the crack of a whip snap through the air, before he caught a glimpse of Hideki as he was sent flying into a nearby wall. Utterly shocked at such a display of power, Hibiki was completely caught off guard as Zenos appeared near him, most likely aiming to strike him in the same manner as he struck down Hideki. There was little Hibiki could do as Hibiki aimed a hyper-fast back-kick to his knees, because of his training Hibiki was able to see the attack, but he certainly couldn’t dodge it. As the kick made impact, Hibiki felt the bone in his left knee crack, a certainly nerve-wracking experience, knowing he was down one limb he wasn’t about to let his opponent completely immobilize him. So, Hibiki dissolved the reishi platform he was standing on, causing him to lose his footing but also minimizing any resistance against Zenos’ attack, reducing the damage. To visualize, if the kick was a car and Hibiki’s legs were a lamppost, the first lamppost remained bolted down and got snapped, while the other one was loosened, causing it to bend and not break.

Which was what happened as Hibiki fell to the ground, landing with a thud as sweat beaded down from his face ”Damn piece of ****.” Hibiki cursed as he wordlessly released his Shikai. Lifting his head back up, Hibiki was met by another assault from the Sephira, this time in the form of a barrage of stone pillars, child’s play compared to his previous attack, thought Hibiki. Grasping his zanpakuto, Hibiki hurled the shuriken at a stone pillar, shattering it into pieces before recalling it back to him so that he could throw it again, Hibiki simply repeated this process until all of the pillars were destroyed. Glancing back up towards Zenos, Hibiki saw that Hideki was on the move, having seemingly recovered from the wounds he must’ve sustained. Not one to simply sit down while there was work to be done, Hibiki threw Kazeoni, this time in a curving arc instead of a straight path towards Zenos. Its trajectory was formed in such a way that it would curve around Zenos before striking him, however, to add a twist Hibiki muttered under his breath ”Bakudo #26, Kyokko.” completely removing the shuriken from sight as well as hiding its presence and reiatsu. To further mix things up, Hibiki made a gesture of recalling Kazeoni back to him then throwing it in an opposite direction and another one where he throws it straight towards Zenos.

It didn't seem likely that she would be hit, as a fellow range fighter, he knew she would be quite adept at dodging, and he should expect a counter-attack soon. He could have sworn he saw the girl exit the building before its destruction, but she quickly hid herself once again, leaving Kaz to contantly turn his head in search of the coming attack. He was only alerted to the whizzing of the arrow as it came at him, his body automatically turning, the arrow shaft just barely grazing its target. However, with it, he was able to follow Eriko, though she was proving to be a tricky target indeed. Goin from rooftop to rooftop, it was hard to get a good fix on the girl. He couldn't fire, every shot was important and he highly doubted Eriko would giver him time to reload. As her whole body spun itself to strike him in the gut with her leg, he quickly tries to catch her leg with his right hand, the gun hanging in its holster until further use. While it was folly to think he could try, he always needed one hand to shoot.

Kaz didn't have the hardest Hierro, but it served him just fine on the battlefield. Though, even he had to recognize the force behind the kick as it landed, and had to now worry about the elbow that seemed to want to rest in his elbow, an action that he couldn't help but comply with, though the results were disastrous. Imediatdly, he could hear something crack, somewhere near his clavicle. Fast enough, he coughed a small amount of blood, though he wasn't quite out yet. Throwing the chain connecting his two pistols around the woman, his aim was to bring her closer to him, as his good arm quicklt reached for his pistol. With a small smirk, he aims it to her head, a another cough of blood escaping him. "Not bad......." Pulling the trigger the once dark red ball of energy was gone, replaced with a bright blue ball that spins like a razor to Eriko, a blast wave following it. He had no idea if she had released her shikai at all yet he was forced to use this? Still, he wasn't done either, and he hoped that she would survive, at the very least to see more of her strange powers.

User ImageShe was not going to lie. It felt good to hear the stranger cough some blood - twice. However, there was not much time to relish in the moment as she left herself being pulled towards. She did not need to be drawn any closer to any man, Sephira or not. Slightly panicked, Eriko spun around within the small space to witness the firing of a Gran Rey Cero towards her head. Without much reaction time due to her own lack of concentration, she took the brunt of the high-level attack and allowed it to put some distance between her and Kazume while burning bits of her skin off. Eventually, she fell away from it and managed to land a couple of rooftops away. Groaning, Eriko remained motionless and tried not to cry at the burns and bruises as they caressed her limbs with a less than pleasurable sensation. For all she cared, it was probably an eternity, not a few seconds, before she was pulling herself to her feet and faced Kazume, eyes teary yet blazed.

"Really? Are you serious?" She could not explain it and frankly, she did not want to. Maybe it was the ingenious part of shooting a Gran Rey Cero at someone's head or it could have been the fact that she had been distracted - taken off guard, to be exact. Whatever the reason was, Eriko's anger decided to vocalize itself at that moment. Her appearance would be correct in illustrating a crazed woman, who was just a tad bit unstable for too many reasons to count. However, in one fluid motion, that same female unsheathed her Zanpakuto and passed her hand over the blade, saying flatly, "Setsumei, Cho." Unfortunately, the subsequent hardening of her skin did not heal any of her wounds but she knew that she would fare better if he ever pulled a stunt like that again because of it. Parts of her hair had been burned; patches of uneven, short hair stuck out. With a quick breath, the Jubantai-Taicho lowered her self into a stance before dashing as fast as was possible for her to close the distance between them. Once on the same footing with him, she opened her mouth again in her face as if she were about to shout but instead, Fuxaasuto Kooru was executed. As the vibrations left her in the form of a lengthened high-pitched scream, Eriko pulled an explosive disk from her shoulder, covered it in her Tokubetsusecchakuzai and held on to his nearest hand so that the explosive would be stuck there as well as his hand in time and space. When she decided that it was secure, Eriko ceased the screaming and walked back a few steps and set off the bomb mentally. It would be interesting to see his reaction but she was still oddly angry at him for some reason. Or was it projection...or even misplaced hate?

“Damn,” Akane complained in a soft voice, seeing the fact that he had managed to easily stop her attack in that way. If she was going to harm him in any way, she’d need her Bankai, most likely. However, there was only so long that she could hold it for, so she’d have to finish it off as fast as she possibly could. As he held the spear in place, she narrowed her eyes, wondering exactly what he was attempting to do. This time, she caught sight of the cero quickly and shattered her spear so that she was not held in place anymore. She paid no attention to his words, not giving him any satisfaction except for one disgusted expression which she threw his direction. Using two quick successive Shō to propel herself from the ground, she landed safely on the nearby rooftop, crouching low as she debated over her next move. He was powerful, she’d give him that, and sneaky. Yet, she did not want to have to figure out a master plan or whatever at the moment since she was more of a simple girl – the one that liked to just bash a person’s head in and worry about consequences later. Casting a brief look at the other two, to see how they were faring, she noticed the wounds on Eriko. Ah well. If Elisia did eventually take hold of this body again, it was likely that girl would berate her for not doing her job. Then again, she had no idea whether she could heal hardened skin in the first place. Perhaps later might be a better time. However, she drew on the other woman’s pain, so that she would be able to upgrade her own weapon.

Instead of a spear like before, two circular swords appeared in her hands as she let the fire run over them, estimating Jacques’ position. As soon as she had managed to roughly pinpoint where he would be, or at least, have a rough guess, she threw her swords in that direction, swinging them. When one pair left her hands, she would materialize another and throw them there as well. She repeated this process three times, before halting all her movements and waiting for him to emerge or attack. At this moment in time, either one was quite acceptable to her, although she was hoping to have at least made a dent in his armour.

Jacques waved the cero off after the girl had used the two Hadō. As she had disappeared, he made his way to his blade. The blade was somehow still standing where it had been, and Jacques was surprised no one had tried to go for it. He rips the blade from the ground. He looks to this "Akane" as she now creates two circular blades. Jacques slams the blade down as the girl began to twist back to launch the blade. He pulls his blade towards him, uprooting a large piece of earth, and kicks it up at the blade. He swings his blade to block the second, having it skim his blade, and he feels a burn on his upper-arm. Jacques jumps it to the air for the last one and slams his blade in to the middle of the ring, watching as it spun around his blade.

Jacques walks towards the young woman with his straight-hand towards the ground charging a Cero, while the other rested the large blade on his shoulder. He rose his hand and releases the Cero towards the house, watching the warping Cero smash in to the building. Jacques slams the blade down in front of him, watching the next move that this young woman would do. "Good job.. you hit me with one of those Ring Blades of yours. Unique, I say," Jacques says to her as he looks to her where ever she is now.

The embers are dead

Watching as his cero obliterated everything in its path, Arian looked on with a sense of disbelief. No hindrance, a single straight line of destruction, an evasive maneuver most likely, he thought as he believed no Captain would be so weak as to be completely disintegrated by a mere cero, no matter how potent it was. Knowing full-well he was outclassed by Nu when it came to speed, Arian decided to play the waiting game instead. Fortunately, or rather unfortunately, he didn’t have to wait long as Nu swiftly continued her assault, the girl was relentless that was for sure. Hearing the spell incantation, Arian merely stood straight as the lightning-enhanced blast zapped his entire body, bathing him in an electrifying blast that seared his already burnt flesh.

Even with his insane amount of physical endurance, even Arian wasn’t immune to pain, something his body readily showed as it twitched and jerked as the electricity surged through him. When the blast cleared, the backside of Arian’s armor was practically gone, revealing the flesh underneath that was cooked and practically radiating heat, on top of that it was not in a pleasant shape to begin with as Arian completely immolates himself every time he enters his released form, something that would give even the most seasoned medics cause to shudder. As Nu began another attack, Arian simply stood there, eerily motionless as if already dead. Perhaps if he had a mouth he would curse Nu, but he was a man of action, as such instead of yelling he simply used his Inferno attack the moment Nu released her own spell combination. The immolating flames born from his opponent’s hands would soon be completely engulfed, along with Nu herself as a massive pillar of fire erupted from out of nowhere, bathing the area in hellish flames.

As the land literally began to melt around him, Arian’s body began to crackle and snap, as if he himself was also being roasted by the inferno around him. However, he was actually beginning to regenerate from the immensely powerful attack; his flesh was slowly shedding the dead cells and replacing them with new ones though this was not that noticeable as the new flesh was also burnt. The bones that were twisted due to the force were slowly being snapped back in place. Given the nature of the damage inflicted upon him, it would take some time for him to completely recover as the damage was both internal and external. His armor also slowly began to reform, seemingly solidifying from the fire around him, however, this happened at a slower rate than his initial regeneration, partly because his body would prioritize his flesh over his armor, and that steel is much harder to regenerate.

[Will edit if there's anything wrong with it. = 3=]

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

"Heh... so you dodged it? Those're some good reflexes. But, that's a shame no one will cry when you die." Tetsunosuke replied to his miss after he had finished his melodramatic. The Sonido would shimmer as he noticed her reappear to her new spot, fashioned in her Resurrección, Tetsunosuke would turn around fully to face her; without a word, Sakuzen Kosshi was lurching into it's Shikai, and he was one his guard. With scythe in hand, he was watching her dash forward toward him, suddenly using a Sonido to appear behind him, aiming a kick to the side of his neck. With matching speed, he was able to use the pole end of his scythe to block the kick to his neck; using his elbow to help reinforce his defense. He could feel the force of her attack all the way to the soles of his feet.

With his pole still humming from the kick of her attack, he would have to ignore this as he took a quick spin of his body to be able to block her next attack with his scythe. With each punch coming toward him with tremendous force and speed. Scythe in both hands, he used diligent motions of his arms and legs -taking steps back to give himself room to react- he was able to use his staff to push the first four punches away from his body, but her superior strength was to much for his scythe movements to recover from, and she over took him and he took a punch from both of her fist. One landed to his chest and the other to his left shoulder. The force of her punches actually sent him skidding back on his toes as his face reflected the pain her felt. Hurting to breath, he took one sharp inhale in and exhaled it, bringing the same pain. "A-amazing..." He complimented her entirety. "If only you weren't so devoted to your Sephira and I wasn't part of Seireitei, I might actually ask you out." He said with a genuine smile, but not out of her appearance; mostly based on what he had picked up from his few minutes of knowing her. Feeling his chest with a free right hand, his scythe was dangling between the crook of his right shoulder, he felt no broken bones. The pain quickly subsiding and he was able to regain his normal posture before she could launch another attack.

"What if, Arrancar... I cried when you died? What if... your enemy could show a slight remorse for such a waste of life..." Tetsunosuke said with a poetic tone to his voice. His right hand was being used to hold his weapon, and his left was raising to be out stretched to her. "You see, a friend of mine died... the shinigami who lost his mind to the Vampire inside of him. If you know any information about him, I would appreciate it." Tetsunosuke moved his left hand to his sheath and had Sakuzen Kosshi change back into a sword. "Whoa, whoa! What're you doing!? She's dangeriously strong, you FOOL!!" The hollow inside of him shouted. Tetsunosuke smirked as he ignored the voice, but the smirk would go unnoticed to her as he had moved his head forward to look down some. When he had raised his head back up, he look at her, keeping his left hand on his sword. Tetsu lifted the sheath so that the sword would return while face out to her. He kept it bent that way with his left as he look at her with a calm demeanor.
