SHE'S RUBBER?
So that's what the potion did...
Here.

Guardian_Iris
Ooo! It looks like Esmée has drank the spicy Potion of Mobile Transformations. I wonder how it will effect her?
User Image

Congratulations Esmée!

The Guardians are pleased that you have chosen to grow and expand your role on the island.

However, drinking a strange potion doesn't come without consequence. You feel urges and instincts that you never have. Your hands tingle a little bit, alerting you to a change that is beginning in your body.

Maybe its obvious to you what is going on, or maybe you need time to figure it out; it doesn't matter right now because the reality is, you now have the ability RUBBER! (Omnimorph)

((Obviously, this ability will start out weak, with many limitations, but it is up to you, Seiana_ZI, how you choose to develop it. Rubber means that Esmée can turn her body into rubber, allowing her to bounce. This ability will be unique to Esmée only, however you may allow her to have other abilities as Pae'il are magical creatures. Just be aware that the Guardian Blessed ability is the only official one however. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Please remember, all powers come with weaknesses too. The more well-rounded the ability is developed (ie, strength AND weakness) the better the chance of being chosen for Elder when they are older. ))

Quote:
Weeee~! I love being able to bounce all over the place. It makes exploring just that much easier. Now I don't have to climb stuff to reach the really high stuff if I bounce long enough. It's awesome. My little brother seems to get mad at me when I bounce into his crib, though. I don't know why, but he kept giving me this glare of infinite death. Whatever that means.

Speaking of my siblings, Aysu and Criofan have both grown! Aysu's so pretty! She's very shiny and bright. And the designs on her are so pretty... And she has legs now! She can get legs and walk around on the land. It's rather odd, but fun too. I enjoy playing with my sister on the land now.

Criofan is a very shiny little thing. He reminds me of gold. After all, he's mostly a bright yellow, and his skin is very sparkly. I wonder if it has to do with him being Irish. Mama said something about leprechauns. I don't know what she was talking about. Must be some Irish thing? Is she even Irish?

...Never mind.

Okay, I've rambled long enough in this book. (Don't you love my excessive (another one!) use of big words? Mama let me read her dictionary. It's fun.) So see you later, journal thingy.

DON'T GO THERE!
Esmée decides that she and Aysu are heading into Dragonid Forest whether her little sister wants to or not.
Here.

Seiana_ZI
"C'mon Sis!"

"I'm not so sure about this..."

"It'll be great!"

Two young girls had wandered away from their household against their mother's will, slipping out the back door and unlocking the gate. On Telrunya Isle, they were perfectly safe anyway! Who cared if they left the confines of their backyard? ...Well, Aysu did. Though she loved adventuring, she felt a bit unsafe with her sister, Esmée, bouncing towards every little place she ever heard and every other place that she had not.

"Esmée, it's a creepy looking forest. I rather stay out here, where, you know. Somethin's not going to eat me." Aysu clutched her bag tightly, nervously looking ahead at the forest beyond the safe beach they were currently standing upon. "Can't we just stay here and collect seashells or somethin'?"

The elder sister snickered, turning around to look at her sister. "You're so silly! Nothing is around here that is going to eat us. You're just being a wimp! Come on, Wimp!" Goading her little sister on by her insults, Esmée started to bounce backwards in the direction of the dark forest. Aysu, grumbling, followed her sister.

"If we get eaten, it's not my fault, Esmée! It's not!"

"Whatever, Wimp!"

Tymiko
The water of the lake suddenly rose in a small wave that washed up on shore. But instead of pulling back out, it continued up on the sand like a living thing, flowing and twisting in the air as liquid ribbons before merging together to shape the form of a tall, slender figure.

Gradually, the figure solidified into a living being with a sea green mellon sleeping peacefully on her shoulder. The new elder looked herself over, checking to make sure she was fully there and that she didn't leave any part of herself behind in the water.

"I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get used to that," she murmered quietly to herself, smoothing her new dress that sparkled in the sunlight before looking up. Her sea green-gold eyes widened at the sight that met them.

"Oh my," she breathed upon seeing the little girls. A shy, sweet smile graced her lips. "Hello there," she greeted.

Seiana_ZI
"But Esmée, don't you understand?" Aysu's protests resumed after they had walked only a few steps. "It's a creepy forest. A big, creepy forest. We'll get eaten!"

"You've already said that and I've already proved you wrong! There is nothing that is going to eat us in there. It's just a fun adventure, Wimp!" As Esmée mocked her little naiad sister, Aysu was watching the water in amazement. The water from the lake was forming on the beach into what looked like another Pae'il. She was so pretty... "Aysu, pay attention to me! Aysu!"

It was impossible to get Aysu's eyes off the beautiful figure in front of her little eyes. Curious, she stumbled in the direction of the newly formed Pae'il, not having very good footing thanks to only recently obtaining her necklace to grow legs. She was such a tall Pae'il, too. Even Amara wasn't that tall, and she had been a tall Pae'il!

Ignoring her sister, Aysu sat down in front of the tall Pae'il. "You pretty." Since she came from the water, she had to be nice. Plus, she was beautiful. How did she look like that?

Aysu's behavior only irritated Esmée, who was eager to enter the so-called creepy forest and prove to her sister that nothing in the forest was going to eat them alive. ...And, plus, she just wanted the thrill of going on a new adventure. "Sis," the small angel whined, "it's time for adventure, not looking at weird tall people with wings!"

Tymiko
Kymo beamed warmly at the lovely child who approached her. The other little girl didn't seem too happy about it, and it was all she could do to keep from giggling at the young one's frustration.

"Why thank you," she told the one called Aysu, leaning down so that she didn't feel so awkwardly tall. It would take some time getting used to this form. "But you're even prettier. Tell me, sweetie, are you and your friend out here all alone?"

Glancing over at the impatient pae child, Kymo couldn't resist the urge to laugh. "You remind me of my daughter," she told Esmée. "Always so eager to go out and explore the world. Though I suppose it was mostly my fault for keeping her indoors all the time..."

Frowning slightly as she peered past beyond the trees, she tilted her head curiously. "You two don't plan on going in there all on your own, do you? It's one of the most dangerous places on the isle. I should know - I live there."

Seiana_ZI
Yay, she could see the pretty lady's face now! She was so tall it was hard to tell what she looked like, though Aysu was able to tell that she was a pretty woman. Naturally, that and the fact that she had came from the water little Aysu loved drew the young naiad over to the tall lady to observe her.

After she spoke, Aysu nodded, pointing to her mildly older sister. "Esmée wanted to go 'sploring, so I agreed, even though Mama didn't want us to go. But she took us out here to the beach and she wants to go in that creepy forest thing where things are going to eat us and I know it! Pretty lady, why does she want to do that?"

Esmée rolled her eyes at her little sister, continuing to be impatient. "Don't listen to the weird tall lady, Aysu! The forest is fine." Why did she care if she reminded this weird-looking woman of her daughter? No matter what, Esmée still wanted to go in that forest and explore. Her favorite thing to do was explore, and this weird lady was going to hold her back from doing that? Never!

"Come on, Wimp!," called Esmée to her little sister, who refused to move from in front of the pretty tall lady who came from the water. Aysu sniffled at being called a wimp once again.

Torvil
Hi, as luck, or perhaps unluck would have it, was patroling near the sector of Dragnid the small group was heading towards. They were out of his sight, nor could he hear them, but he was making his way towards the beach, making sure nothing had gotten out that could cause potential harm.

He was a bit jumpy though, Dragnid was getting worse and worse every day, and lately, he was begginning to wonder how much longer it would take, before certain creatures he'd only encountered deep in the marshy wood, to get cocky enough to leave their lairs, and maybe poke around outside the forest.

Shaking his head, he finally spotted the three, and frowned. "Hey, what are you three doing out this way?" One of them he recognized as an Elder like himself... But who it was, he did not know, she was a stranger to him.

It looks like yet another has joined our ranks...

Seiana_ZI
Aysu completely ignored the new presence, still looking up to the pretty tall lady and wondering just why her older sister so vehemently insisted on going into the creepy forest. Apparently, the pretty woman held all of the answers for little Aysu.

While she waited for an answer, young Esmée fumed. Did she hear another voice?! Though the intellectual angel could seem innocent enough, and certainly was when she was given the freedom to bounce around, play, and explore as she pleased, she became irritated when too many people, especially older ones, interrupted her exploits. Needless to say, the weird tall lady that came from the water was one too many interruptions already. The weird male behind her made two too many.

Deciding to leave her sister with the weird tall lady for now, Esmée turned around and stormed around the other weird tall man, not wanting to answer his question or deal with him at the moment. Once getting by him, she called, "Come on, Wimp! Time to explore the forest." Who cared if it was called dangerous by these weird people? She was Esmée, and she wanted to go explore!

Esmée's little sister turned around and glared daggers as best as she could, before looking back up at the lovely lady. Aysu's grasp tightened on the bag she was holding. She wasn't going to follow Esmée, nuh-uh! Well, unless these tall people turned out to be creepy too, but the pretty one came from the water. She had to be safe.

SO, FERNAND, WHAT SHALL WE DO TODAY?
Esmée and Fernand shall discover the world! ...And people will bother them.
Here.

Seiana_ZI
The typical days of Telrunya Isle had returned. It was now safe to resume exploring the outdoors, but Esmée really didn't feel like walking outside at the moment. The Pae'il Headquarters had so much to do! She had followed her brother to the beach under her mother's orders, but after she did so, Esmée banned herself from ever going outside again, at least for the next few weeks. There was so much she had not discovered yet!

"So, Fernand," Esmée turned her attention to her penguin familiar. He just stared back at her. "What shall we do today?"

The penguin seemed to shrug before waddling off into the next room. Esmée followed in close pursuit, figuring that her familiar did have an idea. Indeed, he did. "Esmée," he informed her, "we have not visited this part of the vast headquarters as of yet."

Only the familiar of a genius like Esmée would talk like that. "Excellent! Let's explore then, shall we?" Completely ignorant of anyone or anything else in the room, Esmée started scrounging through everything she saw.

[chainedfaye]
Amethyst was bored out of her mind. She idly wandered around the island not knowing what to do next and truthfully not even caring as long as it filled the endless hours that seemed to plague her. Her only friend (and amusement) had seemed to disappear along with the rain. She sighed in frustration as she stepped out of the forest she called home. The massive building of the HQ rose above the horizon and she paused debating with herself. She hadn't been since she was a toddler and though she had been young, she'd never forget the scrumptious assortment of goodies Polgara had whipped up for her. She'd been avoiding the building since then, there were normally too many Pae around. But would there still be on a nice sunny day such as this one, and after such a long bout of rain too? She hoped not. With another sigh, this time of resignation, she headed towards the building. Maybe she would get lucky and run into Polgara again.

It appeared her guess was right she thought happily as she entered the building and looked around. It appeared no one else was here. She wandered to the kitchen and much to her delight discovered a plate of brownies sitting on the counter. Amethyst had just been about to take a bite when the first of the sounds reached her ears. Hastily, she turned around ready to defend her brownies only to discover no one was there. The sounds were coming from farther away down the hall. This would require investigation she mused as she took a bite out of her goodie. The taste of decadent chocolate filled her mouth. Oooh it had been too long since her last chocolate binge. Grabbing the plate to take with her, she headed down the hall to follow the sounds. They led her to a room which seemed heaped with strange curiosities, including trunks overflowing with all sorts of various clothes and costumes. And in the middle of it all, digging through the piles, was a purple colored angel girl. And a penguin. How weird Ame though as stared at the penguin a moment before speaking.

"You're making an awful lot of noise you know."

Seiana_ZI
At first, the angel girl completely ignored Amethyst. Sure, she heard the voice, but there was no point in answering when there were so many mystical things littering the room. Why did she care if she was making noise? Cacophony was a natural part of nature, was it not? There would always be noise, and sometimes, there would be a lot of concentrated noise in the same area. So, indeed, the ignorant Esmée continued her exploration of the room.

Ah! This costume was one of a knight! Esmée loved the knights of old, though she stubbornly refused to admit it--mainly because Criofan thought knights were cool. Knights were instantly "uncool" according to popularity standards if males liked them, right? ...Okay, so she had a tendency to over analyze everything. Looking around secretively, she plucked the costume out and decided to try it on. It wouldn't hurt, right? It was just a costume and only her familiar was around.

Except there was still someone else in the room. "Esmée," the penguin chided, lifting a wing to point at the new, darker purple arrival, "You do have company, and I advise you to not ignore it." Afterwards, he gave her a poke in the shoulder to make sure she was paying attention to him.

"Yes, Fernand..." Of course, the response to nothing probably seemed awkward as only she could hear what Fernand said, but Esmée didn't care. She lifted her head and turned around. "It's the noise of discovery! You're interrupting my exploration." She hardly cared if the other present was another child. Esmée was still going to speak in the same manner, whether the other girl present understood it or not! Fernand seemed to sigh, if penguins could sigh, but he did not bother arguing with Esmée--the effort was useless.

[chainedfaye]
Ame rose an eyebrow. "You're rather stuck up aren't you?" Despite her retort, she moved into the room anyway, and started to look around at the costumes herself, digging through the piles. "What is this place?" She'd explored the island fairly thoroughly so this had to be HQ but it didn't look anything like Alaera had told them. And she never said anything about a room full of costumes. Noticing a box overflowing with soft looking diaphanous fabric, Ame went over and pulled it out, examining it closely. It looked like a belly dancer's skirt, red with shimmering decorations that jingled as she moved it. She dug deeper and discovered the top, covered with bells and more flowing fabric draped off of it. She wasn't one to normally be impressed by such things but something about the outfit drew her. "Neat."

Seiana_ZI
How ridiculous this person was! How did they not know where they were? It was decently easy to figure out. After all, it was the main headquarters of the Pae'il. Pae'il and humans alike ran in and out of the place on most occasions, though it seemed to be more empty than usual today. She scoffed as Amethyst openly asked what place they were in, but Esmée would answer her anyway. "We are within the Pae'il Headquarters. This appears to be a room filled to the brim with costumes." Even if she was not trying to sound stuck-up, she always did. Esmée always sounded a bit haughty because of her present way of speaking; she used a form of elevated English.

She pulled on her knight costume, watching Amethyst carefully as she did. This woman needed to be watched carefully, even if Fernand tried to tell her that she should just leave the girl alone.

[chainedfaye]
Amethyst couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Obviously" she muttered under her breath. She watched the girl pull on the knight's armor, thinking as she did that if this girl was allowed to dress up, she could as well. She fingered the crimson red silk a bit more, thinking it would look lovely against her skin, before pulling it out and slipping the skimpy top over her head and then shimmy the skirt up.

Ame looked around the room, wondering for perhaps the first time ever how she appeared, for a mirror or some other sort of reflective surface. Finding one stashed rather haphazardly on a cluster of boxes on the other side of the room and (unfortunately the little girl thought with a grimace) quite close to the other occupant of the room (she quite plainly didn't count Fernand). She strode across the room, pushing the girl out of her way, in her attempt to reach the mirror.

Seiana_ZI
When shoved out the way, Esmée's eyes burned with fury. No one shoved her out of the way, not even her mother! The little girl had an intense hate of being pushed around, and now that this little girl was daring to do such a thing to her, Esmée determined that it was time to rid herself of the nuisance as quickly as possible. Ignoring all of Fernand's warnings against doing something so rash, Esmée pulled the helmet off her head and stormed after the girl.

"Who do you believe yourself to be? Who?! You are certainly nothing worth of ever touching my body," snapped the haughty little girl, pushing her fist out in an attempt to hit the other child in the back. Fernand cringed, if penguins could do so, and decided to waddle in their direction before Esmée or Amethyst became too infuriated. Unfortunately, the haughty one may have already been too annoyed...

[chainedfaye]
Ame turned back to the girl with a 'Hmpf' and looked her over. "Well, from the looks of things, you're a knight and I'm a Sultaness. " She gave Esmee a haughty look, as she pointed to her. "Which means you have to protect me." She trailed off, seeing the green scaled head of a dragon sticking out of one of the boxes of costumes. Bending over to dug it out and added "from the evil dragon." Her finger swung in the direction of the penguin waddling closer to them.

Seiana_ZI
Esmée scoffed, turning away from the woman who dared call herself a sultaness, and therefore, made herself 'better' than Esmée even though she clearly was not. "I will not protect you from anything! Idiots such as yourself deserve to not be protected! I, on the other hand, being brilliant intellectually, need all the protection I can get and then some. You should be taking orders from me, and not the other way around!"

A WONDERFUL SCENE
Esmée's on a date with Morning Glory.
Here.

Umi Hitomi
Bneut set down a Morning Glory in bloom, setting two more down a few feet from the first, four more and so on till the boat was reached. Inside he had a canvas and painting supplies and something for them to eat. Originally he wanted to paint her, but now he wanted to impress Esmee for some reason.

Seiana_ZI
Boing!

Even if Esmée had become fairly haughty, she still found enjoyment in simple things such as bouncing around by using her rubbery abilities, even if her Fernand sighed and shook his head at her obnoxious behavior. Of course, Esmée knew to stop when she saw a blue-purple blob in the distance. Bneut told her to watch for a trail of flowers, and most blue-purple blobs were flowers. At least, that was what she had learned to assume.

When going closer, her thoughts were confirmed. Esmée plucked the flower off the ground and brought it closer to her face so she could get a better view. Ah, it was a Morning Glory! Those flowers were always very majestic and enchanting to her, even if she could hardly see them at most distances. Esmée had always preferred flowers with darker colors. The man had good taste, but that didn't particularly mean anything yet. A trail of flowers was still rather corny in any respect, and Esmée wasn't one for cheese.

Since he had chosen Morning Glory though, she wouldn't leave yet. She'd follow the trail until she found him, even if she looked around and totally missed the boat, being as blind as a bat without its supersonic hearing.

Umi Hitomi
Bneut waited for Esmee to show up, smiling as he saw her in the distace making sure to compose himself before she got close enough to see him. "Hi, you must be Esmee." he said, holding out his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Bneut grined, standing there waiting for her to take his hand. As soon as she had he shook it lightly, leading her into the boat. "Swimming isn't the best in the world."

Seiana_ZI
She did not actually notice his presence initially, glancing around confused as she tried to search for the boat. However, when a hand was placed in front of her body, Esmée realized there was someone there. "Oh!" Instead of apologizing for completely missing him, she shook his hand and then helped herself into the boat. "I see you chose Morning Glories because you are a Morning Glory." Though she didn't at all intend to flirt, she could have been flirting under the right context.

Esmée wasn't the type for flirting, though. Instead, she looked around to get a view of their surroundings, even if everything became fuzzy after just a about a foot or so. She needed glasses...

HALLOWEEN PARTY AND BIRTHDAY BASH
Esmée's at the Halloween Party! She hopes to see Bneut there, too...
Here.

(( Entrance Post: ))

Seiana_ZI
It felt a bit odd to be lacking hair. ...Well, okay, he wasn't really lacking hair. Rather, he had stuck it under some special costume hair-mask, keeping all of his bright white hair hidden. His face was powdered to make him look a bit paler than usual, and his eyebrows were amplified with a faint make-up pen. For his outfit, he wore a simple grey, long sleeved turtleneck coat with grey dress pants. His accessory was a young toddler faerie, laying in his arms and purring like the kitten he was dressed to look like. Texas smiled, stroking the little boy, who purred in delight. Admittedly, the little boy was just a budding attention whore, but he did honestly appreciate Texas.

When Esmée walked up to him and scoffed in disbelief that he could get the young boy to cooperate, Texas lifted his right pinky finger and stuck it right beside his mouth, a small smirk on his face. Esmée rolled her eyes. "Okay, Dr. Evil. I still don't understand how you get Magnus to cooperate so well."

Texas winked. "A natural talent, I guess. And what are you supposed to be?"

Esmée cracked her knuckles. "An assassin," stated she, quirking a brow. Her entire outfit was the color of black. The only parts of her body that were visible were her eyes and her nose, which stuck out from underneath the head wrapping. She had two very dull daggers contained in a cleverly hidden pocket off to the side. "So there. Have you seen Bneut?"

"Oh, you mean that dark purple one?" Esmée nodded, excitedly. "No. Sure he's around here somewhere, though." As Esmée pouted, Texas resumed stroking the young faerie. As irritating as he could be, the boy was adorable.

"Well... fine then! I'll go find him!" Esmée stuck her tongue out before storming off as childishly as she could. Hopefully, Bneut was not wearing a costume that would make him unrecognizable. If he did, she would never be able to find him at nighttime like this! Well, perhaps he would pick out her distinct appearance. Hopefully. Either that or she would actually find him. ...Why was she worrying about this? Why did it matter so much if she found him or not? Well, the answers to that were fairly obvious.

Texas rolled his eyes. "Esmée is silly, isn't she?"

The boy in his arms nodded. "She silly! Now spike punch?"

The demonic reeled, nearly dropping his accessory. However, he quickly recovered and resumed stroking the so-called kitten. "Maybe you're the silly one. Come on, Magnus." With that, he wandered further into the party. Maybe Hyacinthus was there somewhere...

MASQUERADE
Esmée wants to see Bneut, so she goes to the Masquerade.
Here.

(( Entrance Post ))

Seiana_ZI
Another celebration. Texas was not particularly enthused about a masquerade--he found them a bit silly in any case--but he donned a mask nonetheless and followed his siblings to the celebration. He walked in and glanced around, sighing when he realized Hyacinthus was nowhere to be seen. Masquerades probably weren't his thing anyway. They were a bit formal and perhaps even a bit staunch. It was nothing like the enjoyment and simple fun his best friend gravitated towards. He strolled over to the nearest chair and sat himself down, preparing himself to be a wallflower while he watched his siblings get themselves into what he already knew would be trouble.

"PUNCH!" As soon as Magnus spotted the buffet and the punch bowl accompanying it, he ran over with a bottle of wine. After looking around sneakily, he clawed his way onto the table and dumped it all in. Then, giggling, the child in a tuxedo set down the bottle and ran away, weaving through the Pae'il already dancing. He eventually made his way back to Texas, hopping up on him and settling in his lap. "Texy!"

Texas rolled his eyes. "I can see right through that innocent act..."

While Magnus vainly attempted to convince Texas otherwise, Esmée parted from the group of brothers to find her Bneut. She came with the purpose of seeing him, and she wasn't about to rest until she found him. The teenager, dressed in a black gown with a slit up the side and a colorful mask reminiscent of Marti Gras, made her way through the crowd, looking for the ever-so-familiar face. If she could find him, coming there would be worthwhile.

Ah! Perhaps he was the man looking around so curiously. Eagerly, Esmée trotted in that direction. When her thoughts were confirmed, she crept up behind him and hoped he wouldn't notice her.

Sigh. Sigh. Siiiiiiigh. Siggghhhhh. There were only so many ways to sigh to express one's displeasure. Criofan was displeased with his situation. No date, no Erylia, no tricks, no games, just a masquerade. Everyone thought he would find delight in dressing himself up to fool others, but quite frankly, he was bored to tears... or perhaps just sighs. He would rather be the one home watching Zuri, instead of Aysu. Boredly, the masked leprechaun glanced over the crowd to try and found someone worth bothering.
