A smile on his face, walking with his muse in his arms. He had missed her so. The deaf demonic pulled her closer to him, his smile growing larger. Bneut was happiest when he was with her, even had a will to color when she was around.
"Esmee.. Though the twilight is so dark, all I see is your sparkling eyes." He didn't remember if he had expressed his true feelings towards her, but if he hadn't they'd come out tonight. It was about time.

It had been far too long. Esmée always felt better with Bneut nearby. She knew she had felt a bit of a hole in her life while he was not around, but now that he was back, she was alright. It was just the two of them surrounded by trees, winds, flowers, darkness, and little animals, perhaps, but it was perfect. Fernand would roll his penguin eyes at Esmée's sappiness, but honestly, Esmée hardly cared.
The woman blushed at his words, though that was hardly noticeable with the dark and with the bright red spots on her cheeks already. "Bneut, it may be dark, but with you next to me, the whole world seems bright and sunny," returned Esmée, with a small smile forming on her lips.

If he had not been staring at her lips in a hope to catch her words the male would've lost them to the twilight.
"You, my muse, give me reason to draw." His smile remained on his face, dodging the trees near them. It wouldn't be too good if he ran into them and lost track of Esmee.
A quick glance up at their surroundings and he set her down. "We're at my place." The flower pae stated, offering to show her around. He had built a small area to keep out of the rain, a fancy bed underneath the canopy, flowers and vines growing around the trees in the area. "It's a little messy at the moment.." Bneut rubbed the back of his neck, stepping around the fire pit of rocks he had brought up from the river.

"And the thought of you keeps me inspired to keep learning."
As soon as she was set down, the always inquisitive Esmée began to explore her surroundings. She touched some of the flowers and vines that were nearby, finding it very fitting to have such beauty nearby. Then, she moved closer. "I don't mind if it's messy. It looks rather neat to me, actually." Esmée chuckled. After all, the Pae'il woman wasn't exactly known for a neat study area or a tidy room. "Looks like you have a nice place, too."

"Should I light a fire or would you like to go elsewhere?" He asked, wrapping his arms around her once more. Bneut nuzzled her lightly, pulling his face back to watch her face. The male didn't want to miss a word she said, though he was bound to miss something in a lack of light.

Esmée rested in his arms, but didn't get too comfortable. After all, Bneut still needed to see her mouth, and if she snuggled too close, Bneut probably wouldn't be able to. She licked her lips and then smiled. "Light a fire. I like it here." She wanted to see Bneut's new home, and now that she had entered it, she wasn't about to leave. That would be silly after the trek to the home.
"Sitting near a fire is always nice anyway." She had always enjoyed the sight of a fire and being able to simply sit near it.

That was decent. He had already stocked it with wood earlier. "Okay." His smile grew more, releasing her for a moment to light a flame in the fire pit. Once it was lit the male stood back up, pulling her close.
"Sitting anywhere with you is nice Esmee." A soft chuckle escaped his lips, sitting on the wooden bench, keeping her in his arms. The fire had taken off brilliantly, and seemed to be roaring at her side, casting light upon the area he called a home.

Esmée winked at Bneut. "Just as nice as sitting anywhere with you is for me." Then, she let out a deep breath and rested against Bneut once again, closing her eyes for a few moments to simply enjoy the moment she had beside him. It had been far too long since she had last seen him, but fortunately, all that hoping to see him was over.
After all, she was next to him now. "This is nice." Way to be terribly redundant, Esmée. Maybe she should stop talking...

This was a good moment in his books. Lightly he rubbed her arm, eyes not fixated on her for a little while. His mind was racing a bit, though it was more than just nice to sit there with her.
"I love you Esmee." at this moment he was looking at the flames in front of them, the words seemed to slip from his lips as if he had said them a million times before. Whatever it was, he had meant to say it to her that night, even if it had been said before. This moment in particular wasn't the one he had meant to choose, but no matter.

Even if he had said such words before, it wouldn't have mattered at that moment. It was a good moment to say such words, and it made Esmée blush a tad. The woman glanced over to Bneut with sparkling eyes as her smile grew to a grin. That was what Esmée had been hoping to hear, after all.
"I love you too, Bneut. I love you too." And that was all that needed to be said.

Glad for his eyes having returned their gaze to her, Bneut's smile grew much wider. Yes, this night was perfect now. The smile on his face did not fade for a long time, keeping his eyes on her, memorizing her every detail. It wasn't that he was attempting to draw her, but she was the most perfect being he had met, or would ever meet.

When Esmée felt the artist's eyes on her, the Pae'il woman only smiled. He could stare at her for as long as he wanted; admittedly, it warmed Esmée's heart to know that he found her so beautiful. After a few moments, Esmée chose to grasp his hand and continue to watch the fire. There was no point in talking; it was unnecessary and would ruin the peace of the moment.
Besides, if she talked, she may start repeating herself again. Bneut probably didn't want to hear Esmée say how nice this was a thousand times over. No, this was perfect without words.

Gently he rested his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes, any way of hearing her gone for the time. The flower pae knew the perfection of the moment. Nothing could capture it properly, not pen, not paper, not even a camera. He would draw this moment out as long as it could last, or until she spoke.
Still gently, he began to rub his thumb over the back of Esmee's hand. Her skin was soft to his touch, he didn't want to let go of her. Not now, not ever.

If he was waiting for her to speak, that was not about to happen any time soon. After all, Esmée knew that speaking would ruin the current moment, and that was the last thing that she wanted to do. Esmée squeezed his hand lightly when he rubbed his thumb over her hand. She didn't want to let go either, because letting go meant that they were parting. Frankly, Esmée didn't want to part.
The purple Pae'il turned her eyes to the fire that was dancing in front of them and illuminating the entire scene. Perhaps the fire was just adding to the romanticism of the moment.

Silence, he was used to it by now. There had been no peaceful silence in so long, at least not for him. If he could hear the birds and insects that created the music around them he was almost sure that they would have added to the already increased beauty of the moment.
As quick as he had brought her there, he gently placed a kiss on her cheek, opening his eyes once more to shift his gaze between the flickering flames and the perfection of Esmee. There was something more about tonight that seemed different, special in a way more than just the confession of feelings.
