Esmée is what could be described as a genius child. That's right, she's a problem-solving brainiac at the stage of toddler. That's... not particularly good for her elders, especially when she finds a new way to get into either the sugar supply or in trouble. Ah well. Though she does behave like a miniature genius, she's a very innocent little girl when she's not worrying her poor caretaker, and could probably be one of the sweetest girls one will ever meet... most of the time.

ESMÉE'S THOUGHTS ON OTHERS Seiana
.....I have to admit, worrying Mama has become a very fun pastime of mine, but I unfortunately think she has gotten used to it. Nevertheless, I do enjoy going on adventures without her permission. At least she still buys me books.
Aysu
.....Aysu is now a child like me! Isn't that exciting? We can go on adventures and such because she can walk on land now, too. Isn't that cool?! A necklace allowed her to grow legs. She's really fun to be with, and I love having her as a sister, but sometimes she's a bit wimpy.

.....I have a little brother now! He's a toddler. I wish I had his insane amounts of luck because he manages to get out of everything. Unfortunately, that has made him sly. He keeps trying to steal all of my stuff and it's so annoying, especially when I don't notice!

.....I haven't seen Azure in a while. I wonder if he's grown into a child like me?
Weird Tall Lady
.....She kept distracting my sister when we were going on an adventure. It was really annoying. Aysu is already wimpy enough! Don't tell her that the forest is scary! ...She looks kind of cool, though, so that's cool.

Quote: ...Oh my stars. Let me tell you, journal, this is insane. So I got a lovely plushie from a few generous people at the Pae Headquarters who were holding an event. She was a pretty plushie, a purple one, and she came in a bag. Now, I'm not totally sure why she was in the bag, but I kept her in there.
But then, just about the weirdest thing happened.
A few days after I got her, I woke up one day to find that she was no longer a plushie. She was a living, breathing Pae'il toddler. Now, I'm not sure why, but oh my stars. Now I have a toddler to take care of.
And if that isn't enough, she's a little genius child. Agh. And she likes getting into my sugar supply. Everywhere I hide it, she finds it... again! Maybe I should try putting it where even I can't reach it. Her hyper outbursts drive me nuts.
But she's a little sweet thing when she's not getting into my sugar. Really. I think, anyway. She could just be fooling me with that halo...

TODDLER TIME
Meeting the angel Pae Azure and getting into the sugar. Oh no!

Wolfs Heart The little blue boy, Azure, lay on the couch of Pae Headquarters curled and snugged safely around his teddy bear. His breath was deep and heavy as he slept comfortably. From beneath his strands of reddish-brown hair, a pair of bold blue eyes slowly opened and Azure's eyelashes fluttered like a flickering candle. He opened his mouth wide and yawned as his eyes darted around the room to each and every corner and surface. Once he saw there was nothing different to be seen he slowly sat up and stretched. Azure carefully lowered his feet to the ground and slipped off the couch onto the floor dragging his teddy with him. The toddler was mostly silent, except for breathing sounds and the occasional humming escaping from his lips as he rocked back and forth on the ground, holding teddy close for comfort.
Seiana_ZI Pae Headquarters. It was such a big place! The Pae'il toddler genius grabbed the nearest handle and pushed herself off the ground, placing her arms out to balance as she started a shaky walk through the headquarters. Mama was over there some place... so Esmèe was perfectly fine with wandering. Mama wouldn't care.
Or so she thought, but pretending that Mama wouldn't care was a good enough justification for the toddler to begin her search of the Headquarters. She happened into a plush room with a couch and some blue Pae'il. Esmèe took a glance at him and blinked, before shrugging. Unfortunately, the adult-like shrug caused her to lose her wobbly balance and fall onto her butt.
"Owwie!"
Wolfs Heart Azure didn't notice the door to the room swing nudge open, nor did he notice the tiny pae entering after it. However, he did notice the sudden plop on the ground and the air slicing 'ow' of the other toddler as she fell. "You okay?" he asked as he crawled over to the girl. He was very capable of walking over to her, but crawling was his comfort. Azure sat himself on the ground and rubbed his sleepy covered eyes with his hands. "Help?" he asked her offering her his left hand and service, although he wasn't sure if he was axtually able to help her up, like he had seen other, bigger people, do for him. Azure's right hand was still clutched around teddy, who had been dragged across the HQ floor and was now quite dirty.
Seiana_ZI The blue toddler boy was coming over to her! Esmèe watched him with a tilted head, soon getting over her supposed pain in favor of watching the boy curiously. What was that thing he was dragging around? Her curious question was interrupted by the sound of his questioning. "I okay."
Yes, she was okay, but she needed to get back up now. The toddler looked around for a nearby handle only to find none. She was in the middle of the room with no way to get up--Help? Ah, help! Esmèe nodded eagerly, reaching out to him in hopes that he could pull her up like Mama did.
Wolfs Heart Azure looked the small pae over once just to double check she was alright. "Otay!" he smiled when she said she was ok. He watched her as she looked around herself. Azure could tell, from his own experiences, that she was looking for something to use to pull herself to her feet. He rolled off his bottom so his knees were on the ground and then slowly pushed himself onto his feet. Azure pointed to the couch. "Couch." He told her as he clumsily walked over to it, hoping she would follow. He knew she could use that to pull herself up. "See?" Azure asked her as he pointed to the couch and put a hand on it. When Azure looked back at her, he realized he had forgotten teddy. "Uh oh..." he said as he slowly walked back to her and grabbed his teddy. "All better..." he smiled happily as he hugged the teddy close to him.
Seiana_ZI Esmée watched Azure clumsily pull himself up without something to hold onto. How did he do that? The little girl wanted to copy him, but at the same time, she didn't want a real ouchie. So, she crawled over to the couch and grabbed onto the side. With the assistance from the couch, it did not take too long for the little Angelic Pae to get herself off her hands and knees and back on her feet.
Now where did the blue pae go? She tilted her head, looking around to find him. Oh! He was going to get that odd thing he kept dragging around. What was it? Esmée had never seen one of those before...
Wolfs Heart Azure quickly returned to the girl with a bright smile on his face. He noticed her looking at his teddy and he lifted it up so it was even with his tiny chest. "Mine teddy." He told her as he showed it to the girl. Azure noticed he didn't know who the girl was. He placed his teddy on the ground at his feet and then raised a hand to his chest. "Azure..." he gave her is name, introducing himself as best as he could. Azure hoped she would do the same. He pointed at her next, hoping she would get the hint.
Seiana_ZI Teddy? So that was what it was? What was a teddy, exactly? Ah, no matter, it was pretty anyway. She nodded at it, a bit fascinated, before the boy's voice cut into her thinking again. Azure, his name was. What did that mean? Ah well, it didn't matter. Getting the hint with ease, Esmée gestured to herself. "I Esmée," the toddler stated, proudly. Then, going on to something totally random, she asked, "Do you ha' sugar?"
Oh no, not again...
Wolfs Heart "Esmee..." Azure slowly repeated after her. He nodded his head placing the name and the face together so he'd remeber her. To him it was a very interesting name, but he didn't think to much more on that. Azure looked at Esmee thoughtfully after she asked if he had any sugar. "Me? Sugar? I not have..." he told her, he looked around. "Maybe here have sugar. Esplore..." he offered, clapping his hands together. Azure picked up teddy with his hand and was once again dragging him across the room as he headed towards the nearest door. "Come come!" he instructed her as he picked up his wobboly pace.
Seiana_ZI "Yay, esplore!" The Pae'il Headquarters would probably not have sugar because what it did to little pae like Esmée, but she didn't know that. She just liked getting into the sugar and seeing her mother freak out. It was also fun to bounce off the walls! "I come esplore." Esmée followed the other toddler eagerly, always willing to explore and find something new. Perhaps Azure could even find her some sugar!
Wolfs Heart Azure looked back to Esmee with a smile from ear to ear. "Esplore! Esplore!" He said excitedly as he jumped up and down a little. Azure leaned on the door to push it open and found himself in a hallway. "Where da... uhm... cook room?" Azure asked her, wondering if she knew. He wasn't even sure if there was a kitchen there. "Gots to make cookies. Cookies like suga'." He told her making an assumption that a kitchen mean't cookies and cookies mean't sugar. "More splorin to find sugar..." Azure quickly nodded his head, then toddled forward at a well enough pace for Esmee to keep up if she struggled with walking.
Seiana_ZI "Da cook room?" Esmée tilted her head. Where was the cook room? She hadn't seen a room with a cook in it in all of her exploring. Where could the cook room possibly be? ...Well, that was what exploring was for! "Esplore to find cook room." She nodded, bumbling after Azure. Esmée could walk decently... it was only a problem when she tried to move too fast.
"Sugar in here?" The toddler continued her bumbling around, coming up to a random door. She didn't know if it was the right room, but it was a start. Now, if only she could reach that doorknob...
Wolfs Heart Azure nodded his head quickly, and repeated himself. "Da cook room." He continued to stroll along the hallway looking for an open door or any sign of a nearby kitchen until he realized the Esmee was no longer walking beside him. "Esmee?" he called out to her as he turned around. He was replied with a question if the kitchen was behind that door. "Maybe..." he lifted his shoulders in a shrug and then wandered over to her. Azure looked at the door and pushed at it with his hands, but he used his all body weight, it didn't budge, the doorknob was secure. "Hmm..." Azure mumbled. He glanced up and down the hallway looking for something to climb on, but the hallway was empty except for the two of them. Azure moved closer to the door and lifted both his hands to the knob, he was below reaching it. Azure opened his mouth slightly. He wrapped his arms around Esmee's belly and tried to lift her up, but his arms weren't strong enough to lift someone of his own size. Azure pouted slightly when he realized his idea had failed. "What now?" he asked her, seeing if she had any ideas.
Seiana_ZI "Wee!" Esmée enjoyed being picked up, even if it only lasted for a few seconds before Azure realized he couldn't possibly continue to lift her up--or even get her off the ground. Ah well, it was fun for the pae toddler while it lasted. Now, the problem was, that didn't solve anything. The purple toddler scrunched her small nose, squinting at the doorknob. Well, she had seen this television show one time, and the babies climbed on top of each other to get out of their playpens... That was it!
The toddler pointed to the ground. "Azure crawl in place." She was trying to tell him to get on his hands and knees, but Esmée couldn't remember what those body parts were really called. "I stand on top."
Wolfs Heart Azure was disappointed in himself, that he couldn't lift esmee up and he sighed. How ever would they open this door? Azure lifted his tiny blue shoulders in a shrug. He didn't understand her plan, but he had nothing against it either. "Otay..." he agreed as he slowly dropped to the ground so he wouldn't hurt himself. And got into a crawling position. Azure hoped it wouldn't hurt when she stepped on him. He didn't know, he couldn't recall ever being stepped on. "Otay, you on top!" He realized that she was using him as if he were a chair. He finally got it.
Seiana_ZI Yay, Azure understood! That made it easier. Esmée made sure he was steady before clumsily lifting a leg up and onto Azure. Then, she pulled the other one up and kneeled on his back. Hm... Esmée reached for the doorknob, wondering if she was tall enough to reach it from this height. When that didn't work to her satisfaction, little Esmée slowly balanced on her fellow toddler's back, pushing one leg up and then the other until she was standing on his back. "I reach!" How was Azure doing anyway? Ah well, the blue pae didn't matter. She reached for the doorknob and turned it, successfully openning the door
Wolfs Heart As Esmee placed her weight on Azure's back his little arms and upper legs wobbles slightly from pressure he was not used to. He tried his best to stay sturdy for her, he was smart enough to know if he fell she would fall, like all the times a chair had slipped from beneath him because of the surface it rested on. "Oh yay!" he cried out, glad that she was able to reach the doorknob, they might make it through afterall. "Hurry..." he muttered worried he would collapse at any moment. "Did get it? Did get it?" he asked her as he heard something open. Azure was to scared that he would fall if he turned his head so he stared straight on.
Seiana_ZI "It open, it open!" Esmée pushed the door just a little bit more so it would fully open, before hopping off the other toddler's back. When she fell on her hands and knees, she luckily was able to press her hand against the wall and use it for support in getting back up. "We find room! Esplore?" The purple pae had no concern over if she had hurt Azure or not. All she wanted to do was figure out if this was the kitchen and, if it was, get into the sugar supply and worry her poor Mama. Mama got so frantic when she got into the sugar...
Wolfs Heart "Yay!" Azure cried as he waited for Esmée to get off. He breathed a sigh of releif when she finally did, and he slowly stood up from the floor and stretched a little because he felt sore. "Toesies" he said as he bent down and touched his toes, "Nosies" he stood up straight and touched his nose. He smiled, knowing that would make him feel better. Azure's head bobbed up and down quickly as he walked towards the door and leaned on it to push it open further. When Azure looked in he sighed, it didn't look like a kitchen to him. But in his mind, there was a possibility still that it might have sugar in it. "Esplore..." Azure said pointing to any cabinets, or drawers, or anything in the room that could be concealing a bag of sugar. "Lookee..." he wobbled to a cabinet and opened it slowly with his fingers, there was nothing worth his interest in there.
Seiana_ZI This was a big room. Lots of cabinets... Lotsa' cabinets meant lotsa' chances to find sugar! Excitedly, Esmée started towards the nearest cabinet, and pulled it open. Not willing to give up at first glance, she decided it was time to make a mess. Everything came flying out of the cabinet as she tossed it, from a frying pan to a garbage bag. Only when the cabinet was empty and there was a huge pile of stuff behind her did she go onto the next cabinet. "We'll find sugar. Mama get worried when I get sugar." The little girl giggled mischievously.
...She was an angel, but she seemed to be a little devil sometimes too. The terrible two's, perhaps?
Wolfs Heart Azure stopped going through his cabinet when he heard a mess of noise. He watched Esmee curiously as she threw things every which way. Azure, even had to duck once to avoid getting hit by some flying object he could not identify. But actually, that looked kind of fun. Azure smiled and started flinging things out of his cabinet as well. "Fun fun! Esplore!" he cried out. When that cabinet was empty he moved onto the next, flinging things. He was having so much fun doing that, if he had found the sugar he wouldn't have noticed because that would be flung too. "Why nana get worry?" Azure asked her.
Seiana_ZI Exploring was fun when it made a mess that someone else would have to clean up later! Esmée stopped mid-throw when Azure asked his question. She squinted her eyes as she thought of her mother's reasons, before offering, "Mama get worried 'cause sugar make Pae hypah." With a firm nod, she returned to throwing things every which way. The sugar had to be in here somewhere... And if she didn't find it, she'd just find another cabinet! There were enough in here, right?
Wolfs Heart "Okay!" Azure exclaimed, not caring or knowing that hyper was a bad thing. The word sounded fun, just like what he was doing now, tossing out the sugar. Some pae in the world hat to be mischeivous enough to leave some sugar hising in a cabinet for any curious pae to find. Azure wanted he and Esmee to be the ones to find it. "Key look!" [keep looking] Azure encouraged her as he dug through another cabinet with his tiny blue hands. "Is here, I know" well maybe it wasn't necessarily in this room, but it had to be somewhere, and sugar could get plenty lost in all the cabinets in this room. Azure giggled as he tossed more objects. Ah, this game was so fun.
Seiana_ZI The angelic toddler was such a bad influence! She was making Azure help her find sugar so she could worry her mother, which not only would make her mother upset but would also turn Esmée into a bouncy ball of hyper. Also, she was only encouraging him to throw stuff all over the place. "Lookie fastah, fastah!," exclaimed she, as she dug through yet another cabinet and tossed every object that could possibly stored in a cabinet into every which part of the room. When she was satisfied with her mess, she walked around all of the objects cautiously and dashed to the other side of the room, falling on her knees in front of the first cabinet on the other side. "We find sugar! Sugar mus' be here."
Wolfs Heart "I not look fasser!" Azure panted as he threw things out of the cabinet as fast as he possibly could. He grabbed a medium sized pink box and tossed it behind him, when it hit the ground it exploded into a small pile of sugar. Although Azure didn't notice it, he hadn't even turned around. He didn't think it was sugar despite the large white word 'Sugar' typed on the front. He couldn't read it. Azure continued to dig through the cabinet he was in without even glancing back, which would be the only way he would see the mess of sugar behind him.
Seiana_ZI However, little Esmée turned around to yell at him for not looking faster, but stopped when she saw the sugar leaking onto the ground. "Azure stop! Found sugar!" The toddler pae bumbled on over to the pile of sugar and picked up the box. After setting the box down so it no long was spilling all over the place, Esmée sat herself in front of the pile of sugar. "We have sugar! Azure win!" She giggled. Now she would worry Mama! There was enough sugar here to turn her into a race car motor with 560 horsepower. Now, if only the blue one would come join her...
Wolfs Heart Azure turned his head around and stopped throwing things. "Suger? Where?" he asked. That was when he spotted the familiar box on the ground. "Suger! I found! Mine!" he told her as he toddled over towards the pile of sugar. He gather some of the sugar from the pile and set it aside. He licked his finger and then dipped it in the sugar. It was entirely coated. "Suger!" Azure shouted as he showed her his finger, right before shoving it in his mouth and sucking on it. "Yum yum..." he said as he put his finger back in the pile for more.
Seiana_ZI Oh no. It was every older Pae's worst nightmare. Esmée and Azure, toddlers, got into the sugar and were eagerly eating too much for their own good. The little girl followed Azure's lead, licking her finger and then dipping it into the sugar and not caring it Azure claimed it as all his. Then, she stuffed her finger in her mouth, licked it off, and repeated the process. Whichever Pae left all of this sugar for a few curious toddlers to get into would probably get into big trouble. Sugar was... bad for Pae. They'd be beyond hyper soon enough.
Wolfs Heart Azure smiled as he continued to eat more sugar. He didn't know why grown ups made such a big deal about him. It didn't seem to cause anything bad to happen. Seem, being the key word. The sugar had not yet hit his tiny little system. "Yum yum" He said again as he licked his blue lips. While he didn't realize the sugar was doing anything to him, it already was working its sugar ways. Azure was quickly bouncing in place, he just hadn't noticed yet.
Seiana_ZI It was affecting Esmée as well. After a few dips of sugar, it was flowing through her system. The young girl became bouncy as well, eating the sugar at a faster rate. After she had eaten a considerable amount, she exclaimed, "AZUREEE!", and pounced the other toddler, hugging him. Indeed, she was hyper. Hopefully she hadn't knocked the wind out of the other sugar-eating pae.
Wolfs Heart A giant wad of breath escaped Azure's mouth when he was pounced. The energy had already filled his tiny system, and was just waiting to escape. That did it. "Owwww!" Azure exclaimed as he jumped up and ran in a circle around Esmee. "What... did... you... do... that... for...?" Azure asked as he sped around in a blue motion line around the toddler girl. Azure stopped running around in circles and deceided to return to searching through the cabinets to see what else was there. This time, things were thrown across the room at a great speed. Esmee might want to watch out for flying objects.
Seiana_ZI If only there was someone older that would come find them before they caused any more trouble. Esmée sat herself on the ground and began giggling, watching as Azure began to behave hyperactively. Perhaps the only reason why she found this so amusing was the fact that she was also hyper. After eating some more sugar, Esmée dashed in a cabinet, and out of the same one, before into another one. She left a mess behind. The room was full of all sorts of pans, pots, food, and other things that were meant to stay in the cabinets. Oh dear...
With luck, they'd wear out eventually.
Wolfs Heart Luck it seems, for the most of the day had been on Azure and Esmee's side, first they had stumbled upon eachother, then they had found the door and a way to open it, and finally they had found the sugar. Luck was certainly on their side, it just wasn't on the side of the poor adults of Pae HQ. "Faster, faster!" Azure's voice echoed all throughout the room. "Faster, faster!" he repeated once again. He climbed out of the cupboard and the stumbled his way across the vast land of junk they had found in this room of wonders. He made his way across the room, Azure needed more "More More! Sugar Sugar!" he shouted, things were coming out in doubles with how hyper he was. He jumped into the pile of sugar as if it were a fluffy pillow and quickly scooped up a handful. Azure's head went back as he let the sugar fall into his mouth from above, most of it ran down the side of his face and returned to the pile, but he still had gotten enough to quench his hunger before he was at it again. Azure jumped up and then began to run around the room, his girlish scream was released and his hands rose to the ceiling and he waved them around rapidly. Azure was hyper.

Mama gotta' baby. I don't know where it come from, but it is gold. I like gold! And it is called "Criofan O'Kane". That's an odd name to spell. But I like it! Maybe it will be as fun as my sister!
Aysu taught me how ta' swim. Swimming iz fun! Mama has to stay with me though so I don't "sink", whatever that means. And I have to wear a funny orange thingy. It keep me "afloat", whatever that means.
What? I'ma toddler! How'm I supposta know?!

POWERS?
Esmèe realizes the reality of powers and decides to go get one.
Here.Seiana_ZI Esmèe could read. She could read very well for her age, eating up books by the day! So, she had managed to pick up a book that said she could have powers given to her by the Guardians, whatever they were. Naturally, the newly child Pae'il wanted to try out some of this powers stuff. Seiana obliged, bringing her child to the shop but deciding to watch from the outside of the building for her own sanity. The young girl toddled right in.
Well, she was there. Now what? Esmèe glanced about the room before she spotted an odd looking note. Well, it was probably for her. Happily, she snatched it off the table and pressed it to her nose so she could actually read it clearly. "'kay, so there's three items... I need one of each... And I put it in this bottle!" Esmèe picked up the bottle, set the note back down on the table, and scurried over to the shelf.
...Great, what exactly did that say? She could make out a word that looked sort of like diamond, and blood, but that was it. It was too high up and far too blurry! Glaring at the items, she jumped up and simply swiped one off the shelf. There was no use trying to read something that was just too blurry for her eyes to make any sense out of. Young Esmèe had better things to do, like finding out whatever power this odd potion would give her after she gulped it down.
The second shelf actually had words she could read. "Gold, Silver, Add-a-manti-um. Sounds like a bug. Um, Steel, Bronze, My-thrills." Esmèe scratched her head. What did she want to put in her concoction? Oh, she thought a big word! She shook her tiny head before staring at the ingredients again. What should she use? ...Oh! Mama had said Steel was very strong before, and she wanted to be strong both mentally and physically. In went the steel.
So there was one more ingredient left, and it was on the third shelf. Overall, the items on the third shelf were the easiest to read. Cheerfully as always, she rattled off the colors. "Blue, Purple, Bluey-Green," okay, so she rattled off the primary and secondary colors she could actually name, "Muddy, Red, Green!" Muddy was gross, so that was out. Red reminded her of spice, and she liked spicy food. Maybe she should put red in? She was the color of purple, though. ...Then again, her cheeks were red. Red was her final consensus. In with the spice!
Finally, Esmèe clamped her hand over the bottle, shook it a bit, and then tilted her head back to gulp the bottle's contents down. Mm, she liked that! Too bad she could only drink one. ...No matter, now it was time to find out what powers would appear! Happily, Esmèe bounded out of the hut.
