"C'mon Sis!"
"I'm not so sure about this..."
"It'll be great!"
Two young girls had wandered away from their household against their mother's will, slipping out the back door and unlocking the gate. On Telrunya Isle, they were perfectly safe anyway! Who cared if they left the confines of their backyard? ...Well, Aysu did. Though she loved adventuring, she felt a bit unsafe with her sister, Esmée, bouncing towards every little place she ever heard and every other place that she had not.
"Esmée, it's a creepy looking forest. I rather stay out here, where, you know. Somethin's not going to eat me." Aysu clutched her bag tightly, nervously looking ahead at the forest beyond the safe beach they were currently standing upon. "Can't we just stay here and collect seashells or somethin'?"
The elder sister snickered, turning around to look at her sister. "You're so silly! Nothing is around here that is going to eat us. You're just being a wimp! Come on, Wimp!" Goading her little sister on by her insults, Esmée started to bounce backwards in the direction of the dark forest. Aysu, grumbling, followed her sister.
"If we get eaten, it's not my fault, Esmée! It's not!"
"Whatever, Wimp!"
(( Basically, Esmée and Aysu are heading towards Dragnid Forest. Right now, they're on Pae'kippu Beach. Anyone care to prevent them (or more so Esmée) from going on this adventure?
Edit: And wow, this ORP started on the day of the initial plot update, having to do with Dragnid! How coincidental. I've decided to have this follow the very beginning of the plot: Dragnid is starting to corrupt the things within it. Get these poor kids away! ))

The water of the lake suddenly rose in a small wave that washed up on shore. But instead of pulling back out, it continued up on the sand like a living thing, flowing and twisting in the air as liquid ribbons before merging together to shape the form of a tall, slender figure.
Gradually, the figure solidified into a living being with a sea green mellon sleeping peacefully on her shoulder. The new elder looked herself over, checking to make sure she was fully there and that she didn't leave any part of herself behind in the water.
"I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get used to that," she murmered quietly to herself, smoothing her new dress that sparkled in the sunlight before looking up. Her sea green-gold eyes widened at the sight that met them.
"Oh my," she breathed upon seeing the little girls. A shy, sweet smile graced her lips. "Hello there," she greeted.

(( Of course you can. ^^ ))
"But Esmée, don't you understand?" Aysu's protests resumed after they had walked only a few steps. "It's a creepy forest. A big, creepy forest. We'll get eaten!"
"You've already said that and I've already proved you wrong! There is nothing that is going to eat us in there. It's just a fun adventure, Wimp!" As Esmée mocked her little naiad sister, Aysu was watching the water in amazement. The water from the lake was forming on the beach into what looked like another Pae'il. She was so pretty... "Aysu, pay attention to me! Aysu!"
It was impossible to get Aysu's eyes off the beautiful figure in front of her little eyes. Curious, she stumbled in the direction of the newly formed Pae'il, not having very good footing thanks to only recently obtaining her necklace to grow legs. She was such a tall Pae'il, too. Even Amara wasn't that tall, and she had been a tall Pae'il!
Ignoring her sister, Aysu sat down in front of the tall Pae'il. "You pretty." Since she came from the water, she had to be nice. Plus, she was beautiful. How did she look like that?
Aysu's behavior only irritated Esmée, who was eager to enter the so-called creepy forest and prove to her sister that nothing in the forest was going to eat them alive. ...And, plus, she just wanted the thrill of going on a new adventure. "Sis," the small angel whined, "it's time for adventure, not looking at weird tall people with wings!"

Kymo beamed warmly at the lovely child who approached her. The other little girl didn't seem too happy about it, and it was all she could do to keep from giggling at the young one's frustration.
"Why thank you," she told the one called Aysu, leaning down so that she didn't feel so awkwardly tall. It would take some time getting used to this form. "But you're even prettier. Tell me, sweetie, are you and your friend out here all alone?"
Glancing over at the impatient pae child, Kymo couldn't resist the urge to laugh. "You remind me of my daughter," she told Esmée. "Always so eager to go out and explore the world. Though I suppose it was mostly my fault for keeping her indoors all the time..."
Frowning slightly as she peered past beyond the trees, she tilted her head curiously. "You two don't plan on going in there all on your own, do you? It's one of the most dangerous places on the isle. I should know - I live there."

Yay, she could see the pretty lady's face now! She was so tall it was hard to tell what she looked like, though Aysu was able to tell that she was a pretty woman. Naturally, that and the fact that she had came from the water little Aysu loved drew the young naiad over to the tall lady to observe her.
After she spoke, Aysu nodded, pointing to her mildly older sister. "Esmée wanted to go 'sploring, so I agreed, even though Mama didn't want us to go. But she took us out here to the beach and she wants to go in that creepy forest thing where things are going to eat us and I know it! Pretty lady, why does she want to do that?"
Esmée rolled her eyes at her little sister, continuing to be impatient. "Don't listen to the weird tall lady, Aysu! The forest is fine." Why did she care if she reminded this weird-looking woman of her daughter? No matter what, Esmée still wanted to go in that forest and explore. Her favorite thing to do was explore, and this weird lady was going to hold her back from doing that? Never!
"Come on, Wimp!," called Esmée to her little sister, who refused to move from in front of the pretty tall lady who came from the water. Aysu sniffled at being called a wimp once again.

(( *nudges in, I hope nobody minds XD* )) Hi, as luck, or perhaps unluck would have it, was patroling near the sector of Dragnid the small group was heading towards. They were out of his sight, nor could he hear them, but he was making his way towards the beach, making sure nothing had gotten out that could cause potential harm.
He was a bit jumpy though, Dragnid was getting worse and worse every day, and lately, he was begginning to wonder how much longer it would take, before certain creatures he'd only encountered deep in the marshy wood, to get cocky enough to leave their lairs, and maybe poke around outside the forest.
Shaking his head, he finally spotted the three, and frowned. "Hey, what are you three doing out this way?" One of them he recognized as an Elder like himself... But who it was, he did not know, she was a stranger to him.
It looks like yet another has joined our ranks...

(( No prob! ^^ Hm... ))
Aysu completely ignored the new presence, still looking up to the pretty tall lady and wondering just why her older sister so vehemently insisted on going into the creepy forest. Apparently, the pretty woman held all of the answers for little Aysu.
While she waited for an answer, young Esmée fumed. Did she hear another voice?! Though the intellectual angel could seem innocent enough, and certainly was when she was given the freedom to bounce around, play, and explore as she pleased, she became irritated when too many people, especially older ones, interrupted her exploits. Needless to say, the weird tall lady that came from the water was one too many interruptions already. The weird male behind her made two too many.
Deciding to leave her sister with the weird tall lady for now, Esmée turned around and stormed around the other weird tall man, not wanting to answer his question or deal with him at the moment. Once getting by him, she called, "Come on, Wimp! Time to explore the forest." Who cared if it was called dangerous by these weird people? She was Esmée, and she wanted to go explore!
Esmée's little sister turned around and glared daggers as best as she could, before looking back up at the lovely lady. Aysu's grasp tightened on the bag she was holding. She wasn't going to follow Esmée, nuh-uh! Well, unless these tall people turned out to be creepy too, but the pretty one came from the water. She had to be safe.
