Alphubel, Knight of PolarisSometimes the fact that he had become a Knight so quickly reared it's ugly head at Alphubel making his anxiety rise and wondering if he really was supposed to be a Knight. It had been years since he had become one, he had even participated in a few group battles, one even against those new aliens that some had sided with the Negaverse. He had felt like a Knight then. But the past week had him questioning once again whether or not he should have still been a page. He had wanted to check out some of the more isolated spots to see the eclipse that was supposed to happen this month, but every time he tried to power up he had found himself unable to do so. Even his Wonder seemed to be ignoring his distress. By the end of the week he had been starting to become quite the wreck, with Cynthia becoming quite concerned about him. He was so glad that he could share what was going on with her, but sometimes he wished he could share it with his brother. He really wished his brother had been a Knight, but fate had deemed that to not happen. So when he finally felt as though he could transform again and that he had to, he did so earnestly and found a scroll in front of him, imploring him to accept. And he did. He found himself in the room with the code. He couldn't help but let out a small gasp. If that's what summoned him and the rest of the Knights, from the quick look around the room that he took, it had to be serious. He tightened his grip on his staff a bit more and attempted to look for a familiar face. There were a few, but for some reason his mind was racing at a million miles a minute, unable to calm himself down. Quote: Alphubel is open for interaction!

Drombeg, Knight of EarthCurrently, Drombeg had no feelings towards the situation. He had been too busy with his civilian life to be able to even try to power up and had just completed more training as a Park Ranger. His want to power up just coincided with when he finally had some free time and really wanted to. The feeling was more than the usual and had made him pause before he shrugged it off and continued. After he was done he found the scroll in front of him. For a moment his mind told him that it could be from the Negaverse trying to trick him, but another part of his brain said it wouldn't look so sparkly if it was. He was still unsure, but he wasn't one to back down from someone asking for his presence in an emergency. And soon he found himself in an unfamiliar room, an eyebrow raising as he looked around and finally saw... well what appeared to be more glowing and sparkling or something. He wasn't sure what it was, but he could have sworn that someone said "the code". This was the code? And he was finally able to see it? If he had been alone he might have showed more emotion but he couldn't help but feel a bit happy that he was here, even if it was an emergency conference. It meant that he truly was a Knight, and not just that he was in a dream or something where he was still a part of the Negaverse. Pushing back happy tears he let out a breath and took a look around the room. He only recognized a few faces, but he hoped that more of the acquaintances he made would show up. If not, then he would just have to make some more. Quote: Drombeg is open for interaction!

Nectaris, Knight of the MoonNectaris hadn't exactly been panicking about what was going on the way that some people like Pendour had. She'd gone out once and her moon staff had snapped off on a youma, and since she couldn't figure out what was happening, there hadn't been Chaos around sucking away her powers or something, she'd gone back to the house and tried to think things through. What she decided was that she was worried about the Code. That was where their powers came from, right? What if something was wrong? She didn't really know how to check on the code, though, so she turned to doing what she did best, and not thinking about it. She was trying to get a Kickstarter set up for her art stuff, anyway. It was fine. Of course she was gonna go to an emergency meeting though. She figured the letter was from the Code, since who else was gonna invite her to the Moon in the middle of the night? As she ended up on the Moon, she did, in fact, see the Code. It didn't look as bright as normal, and that made Nectaris worry some more, even as she looked around to see who else had shown up.

Voyager, Squire of PlutoFor his part, Voyager had been extremely worried when he wasn't able to power up or even, gasp, GO TO HIS WONDER!!! For the past week he had been worried that something had happened to his Wonder. Did something happen to Pluto? WHY DIDN'T HE HAVE MORE KNIGHT CONTACTS?! Deep breaths. DEEP BREATHS. When he finally felt that he could power up, and it was quite the urge to do so, he had practically jumped with joy and had done so as soon as he could. He received the scroll and it seemed that something bigger was going on than just his Wonder. It had eased his feelings a bit, but there was now the feeling that something was extremely wrong, though he was glad to get the invitation to possibly fix it. He had accepted it and then found himself in the room with the code once again. This was definitely serious. He gave himself time to even out his breathing and then looked around and EEEEEEEE!!!!! squeak of delight There were NEW KNIGHTS! That meant that there were types of Knights he didn't even know about! He had to keep himself from immediately going over to one of the new knights and bombarding them with questions, invites to his Wonder, and possibly getting an invite to their Wonder. Instead he would have to take mental notes. So there seemed to be a lot more purple themed ones... hey, they had something in common with him! Symbols were definitely different... Viminal, Page of Venus
Viminal had never been much for the whole knight life, but with most on one's own family involved including her own husband, she didn't see herself escaping it. So, it was now years after becoming a page she was more active and more willing ... well not will so much as begrudgingly going along with being a page.
Part was making sure her husband was careful and didn't get into over his head. They had young children at home, the other keeping tabs on her siblings. This week it was trying to help her brother. It was weird to see how connect he was to his wonder. She hadn't even bothered trying to go to hers and now she tried out of necessity of testing the theory and she hadn't been able to, but as least if they could fix this, she could now go if she so desired.
The nagging was weird, feeling like she really ought to listen and eventually she couldn't ignore it. She was going to be patrolling with her brother anyway, so it mattered little the why she powered up. The letter made her sigh, but as they'd been look for answers all week she knew exactly where she'd find her brother, so she grabbed the letter and let it take her to ... some room on the moon.
She wasn't really interested in the where and turned to looked for her brother's mane of curly red hair.
Palmrya, Page of Castor
The week was definitely a strange on for him especially with the strangeness of powering up and even just walking around. He was so used to now feeling the other's around him that to not be able to was not something he particularly liked.
Shang was insistent they not be alone and as Vimi was out with Shang, Cass lost his patrol partner, and they were already down bad with Mu and Maia out of commission for so long. They really couldn't afford this weirdness.
He hadnt planned on going out that night, but he nagging pull was giving him a tiny headache and he figured it was better to see what was up than to keep trying to ignore it. He let his wife know he had to head out and heeded the call.
When he powered up he got a letter, it floated before him glowy and looking rather official. It was weird to have heard about the weird thing that could and did happen, then to experience them for one's self. He took the letter gingerly accepting the request and finding himself in a room with other's appearing around him.
Pharos, Squire of Chronos
Pharos had been going to her wonder regularly, tending to it with a dedication that made her ancestor proud. The fruit trees were doing well and it was almost time for them to begin blooming and hopefully barring the seasons fruit. She'd intended to go with Neckar to do some repairs and work more on the greenery she added to bring the courtyard and observation deck to life.
When she hadn't been able to get to it, she was very confused. She tried several times, but to no avail. In the end she'd chosen to go to the rainbow road and stood outside her wonder with Neckar feeling more confused, as he wonder looked close off ... as did all the ones she could see. Encased in bubble, as if inactive.
No matter how she tried that week, she been unsuccessful and everything was off kilter. She was glad for the letter that appeared to her, after the pull, easily taking the glowing thing in hand and letting to take her to what would hopefully be answers.

[Lanting, Page of Ida]
In truth, Lanting was a little bit afraid to power up again. Part of him had enjoyed his extended sojourn at his Wonder--but the other part had not enjoyed spending plural days living on the snacks he'd packed. Sure, his normal diet wasn't great, but it was more than chips and granola bars! There were cup noodles! And Doordash deliveries!
Also, days of lost streams, and having to come back and explain to his viewers and a longterm collaborator--who were all very worried about him--that he'd been sick, suddenly, and hadn't felt well enough to be in front of a computer, which had just worried some people more, even though he insisted he was okay.
And. Well. The absence of texts from anyone in his family. Lianhua had sent a few, but only the first day, and ended with "Are you sick or just super absorbed?? Text me when you're better", and that was it.
Ah well. His parents and older brothers had their own lives. Lianhua had probably only noticed because she was On A Break with her latest boyfriend and thus bored enough to worry about her brother.
Either way: powering back up had been...a struggle. Like swimming throguh molasses, when he'd decided to do it. And then there was a note, inviting him to the moon--a chance to find some answers. (On the moon!! The MOON!! That was incredible!!!)
What was he supposed to do? Not show up?
When he did, he was momentarily taken aback by the crowd--so many Knights of so many kinds, and there was him, who knew literally nothing and felt frozen in place.

Xibalba, Squire of Mars
Angus had managed to keep his unease under wraps for the last week. Not being able to power up or get to his wonder had made him (rather understandably) twitchy. By now, even the twins were picking up on the fact that something was wrong with Dad.
And then the pull came and tugged at him. Fortunately, the kids were already sawing logs and Bindhi, bless her, just gave him a look before taking herself from the room. She knew how this last week had worried at him.
Having an incredibly smart and sensitive wife was pretty rad.
Closing his eyes, he obeyed the internal call and powered up, nearly weeping when it worked. Fortunately for his questionable dignity, a glowing, not-of-this-earth letter popped up right in front of his nose. Reading, Xibalba felt his lips pull back in a grimace. Something was wrong and he couldn’t ignore it.
“Got Knight business tae attend’t, m’love,” he called out just loud enough for Bindhi to hear in the next room. Then, he did as the letter suggested and willed himself to the Moon. The process felt so seamlessly easy that he wondered what could be happening.
Moving quickly, he went to find somewhere to perch and wait for things to begin while admiring the scenery. Olympus was grand enough, but the Moon certainly seemed to outshine it in terms of splendour. Whatever was going on, he sincerely hoped it wasn’t too crazy.
—--------------------- Ogygia, Knight of Cosmos
Nimue had been sleeping when the call came through. Even through her dreams, she could feel the pull, no, the demand to power up. Lunging up from slumber, she was still half asleep, hair poofed out in a magnificent cocktiel pompadour. Sleepily, she obeyed the call and powered up, convinced this was a wayward dream tormenting her. After all, none of her other attempts had worked lately, so why would this time be any different?
But it did work and soon enough, it was Ogygia sitting on a rumpled bed and reading a glowing, magical scroll requesting her presence on the moon. Reading and re-reading, she made her choice. If there was an emergency, she wanted to help. Of course, she would go!
Doing as the scroll said, he willed herself to travel and smiled a few moments later to see her surroundings had changed. This was her first time on the moon, and she was super impressed. It was pretty different from her own little Wonder. Scurrying through the room, she found a seat and plopped into it. Hopefully no one would mind the jaw-cracking yawn that was the only sign that she’d come straight here from a deep sleep.
—------------------------ Nis, Squire of Cosmos
Being unable to power up and get to her wonder to work on restoration had made Myth more than a little… bitey. Not even her beloved antiques could soothe her rumpled soul. So when the mental call came, she had transformed into Nis with barely any thought, delighting in her powered skin once more. And had it not been for the magic missive that popped into being two inches from her nose, she would have pranced off to her wonder gleefully.
As it was though, the fact that there was an emergency conference in the works gave her pause. So, very likely, it hadn’t just been her having trouble. The term conference suggested it was more than even a handful of knights. Had it been all of them? The thought was a bit chilling.
“Yes, all right, I accept,” she muttered even as she thought about the moon and going there right now.
Once she arrived, she made a note that others were starting to appear. Then, she looked for the closest bunch of Cosmos knights she could and headed that way. Nis wanted answers.

Ephesus, Knight of the MoonStanding with Amarynthos and Sessrumnir in awe at the many knights that showed up! Ephesus gasped when he opened his eyes, and then immediately covered his mouth with his free hand. He was holding Amarynthos’s hand with his other, grateful that they lived so close to each other so they could accept their summons together.
“Mary! Have you ever seen so many Knights in one place before?” he whispered, eyes wide with both anxiety and excitement. And worry. They hadn’t been able to get to their Wonders for a full week, and it was very distressing since they were used to going quite frequently.
The Code was there as well. They could see it this time, unlike when they’d tried to visit it before. He wanted to ask if it was okay, but he didn’t want to get in the way of the others all gathering. It was already difficult to see who was there and who wasn’t.
Would their friends show up? He thought he saw the bright colors of a Lysithea knight. Maybe two? But he also wasn’t too keen about running off to see if it was Almere and Mechelen like he suspected when his Papa was there with them.
He felt bad for Sessrumnir, who already looked stressed. He knew Devyn would be okay with Amarynthos’s parents and Lucien, but it was still… a lot. Sessrumnir, Knight of JupiterStressed but hopeful. Feeling encouraged by the turnout. Standing with Amarynthos and Ephesus. He’s shared the message with Devyn, of course. It seemed like a Knights only thing, seeing as Atticus had received a message as well. And sure enough so did Elliot. He knew that if there was an emergency conference, then it must have been important.
They hadn’t figured out any answers over the past week. Ganymede didn’t know what was going on. She could get to Ganymede, itself, but none of the Wonders seemed to be accessible. Devyn had a similar issue when he tried getting to Sessrumnir. It was like everything was just on lockdown.
And while he was stressed about being in a room filled with so many others -- familiar faces and new ones -- he couldn’t help the tension easing from his shoulders and a small smile pulling at his lips as he watched Ephesus and Amarynthos.
They just looked so. Young. And hopeful. But they were Moon Knights. He supposed the Code knew exactly what it was doing when it asked them to be Knights. As much as it stressed Sessrumnir out to know they were often in danger. And had almost died a handful of times already. (Open for interaction!)

Spei, Squire of the MoonWhen Yukio received the missive from the Code, it was as much a relief to him as anything. For a week he had found it increasingly difficult to power up as Spei, let alone visit his Wonder on the Moon. As strange as he had found all this Knight business at the beginning, he had grown accustomed to being who the Code had chosen him to become, fighting against the Chaos that had taken root in Destiny City. And now, being all but unable to live his alternate life, to finally hear from the Code made him rush to respond. The sheer number of Knights that were in the chamber where the Code resided was astonishing to Spei as he arrived. Looking around at all of them, he saw uniforms of every possible style and color, Knights of every stage, from the newest Page to the most experienced Knight. Then he noticed the Code, floating above its pedestal as it had always been, except it seemed…. dim, somehow. It did brighten with each Knight who appeared in the chamber, but it still didn’t seem as bright or vibrant as he remembered. Why have you called us here? Are you all right? Spei’s thoughts went out to the Code, concern on his face. This was the source of who they all were, and to see it so diminished was worrying. Is something wrong? How can I help?

Reims, Squire of GanymedeFeeling overwhelmed by the crowd. He knew his mother was going to think he snuck out. Escaped was more reasonable, in his mind. Eventually she would find a way to break down his bedroom door again. Maybe she would put the bottle down long enough to climb up through the window. Thankfully he doubted she was that coordinated. Maybe she would wake up and not remember anything from the night before, as was often the case.
Riker grasped the magical message as if it were a lifeline. His only hesitation was the potential hell he would pay upon return. He didn’t have time to wash or bandage the scratches on the back of his hand but-- as Reims he wore gloves. It would be fine. The bruise on his jaw…
It was baseball season. Clearly he didn’t block the ball with his glove. It would fade quickly at least. Thanks to magical Knight powers, injuries seemed to blessedly heal a lot faster.
So he grasped the messages tightly and closed his eyes.
He knew where he was as soon as he opened them. The Code was glowing brightly, although not as brightly as the last time he’d seen it. Unlike trying to get to it before, it had opened up whatever invisible barrier that was keeping them from getting close.
He straightened up and looked around. There were so many Knights he’d never seen before, and he immediately bristled with discomfort. He wished he’d had time to send a note to Yvoire or Dering or Rose. Even Cynthus. Oh, she was going to be pissed when she found out the Code was accepting an audience again. (Open for interaction!)

Cynthus, Squire of the Moon“CODE!!”
Cynthus was not happy (because the last week had been weird and they still didn’t have any answers for it), but also pleased (because the Code had summoned them here and maybe they’d finally get some of those answers). She forced her way through the gathering crowd to get as close to the Code as she was able, then stomped her foot, folded her arms over her chest, and frowned.
“Make haste?!” she said. “Seriously?! After you ghosted us for a week?! What’s going on?! We were freaking out thinking something happened to you! But, like, also we were pretending not to be freaking out because we didn’t want to freak ourselves out more, you know what I mean? What gives??”
Cynthus didn’t care if she was loud. She didn’t care if she was annoying. The Code had chosen her! She was a knight (okay, a Squire) because the Code thought she was worthy! That meant there was something about her that fit whatever qualities it was looking for, which meant anyone who thought she was loud or annoying or rude or immature could go touch grass.
She and the Code were tight. (Or at least Cynthus liked to think so.) Total besties. Old friends catching up after a long separation, or whatever. The Space Cauldron Definitely not nagging at the Code. Totally just talking to it.

Poe, Page of MercuryWith Cynthus trying to do damage control while also not knowing what is really going on. For all Poe knew, it was normal to have problems powering up and not being able to visit Mercury (was that a joke?) or do all kinds of magical things. He was so green when it came to being a knight that he was still partially convinced that this wasn’t just some elaborate hoax.
His sister was in on it! And she just happened to have a dog that shared his name! That couldn’t just be coincidence, right? If Poe even was his name. But it sure felt that way. Somehow.
“Cynthus, dear, let’s take a deep breath and not enrage the magical… thing.”
Oh, maybe if anyone enraged it, it would be him for insulting it.
He flashed apologetic smiles and waved people away from trying to control Cynthus on their own. She wasn’t doing anything wrong! She was just very. Strong. A strong, independent woman. Who was also only fifteen, but still!
Poe eyed the orb, not sure what to think of it. Nor did he know what to think about everyone in their elaborate costumes. If this was a convention-- wow, everyone was really talented. But no, he was told it really was real and there was magic going haywire and he did have a magical note appear out of thin air.

Yvoire, Squire of GanymedePowering up, Yvoire had learned, wasn’t impossible. It had been difficult, but he’d figured it out eventually. Then, of course, powering down had posed its own set of problems, which meant that after he managed that he hadn’t tried to power up again, wary of getting stuck that way without anything to tell his dad to explain his absence.
Until tonight—when powering up felt like it used to, and the Code summoned him to the moon.
Summoned all of them, it seemed like. Not just Yvoire and his friends, but all sorts of knights he’d never met before. Yvoire was immediately overwhelmed by the number of them and hung near the back of the group, bouncing up onto his tiptoes every few seconds to search for someone he knew.
He heard Cynthus’ voice, but she was too far into the thick of things for him. Then he saw the back of a familiar tophat and nearly sagged with relief. Yvoire slipped around a few people, careful not to bump into anyone, and came upon Reims without making a sound. He slipped a hand into one of Reims’ gloved ones as he drew beside him, glancing up with a small smile.
Only for it to immediately falter.
“Are you okay?” he asked quietly, brows creasing with concern. “You’re hurt. Did you get into a fight?”

Squire Halle of LysitheaArriving after accepting the invitation, Halle stared out, wide-eyed and dazed at the change in environment. At suddenly, finally, other people. Other Knights. Then he exhaled, feeling almost fatigued with relief. He'd assumed being trapped on his Wonder was a temporary thing. Maybe a chaos thing? But he hadn't sensed anything, no matter how far he explored the forest or caverns underneath. He couldn't access his piece of Code though, and that was enough to instill a near-constant thread of anxiety despite an otherwise pretty tranquil week up on Lysithea. After a drawn out moment where his thoughts turned to observation and then some conclusions about what had happened, Halle finally snapped out of it and began scanning the area. There were familiar faces, like Kaifeng, Nectaris, Ephesus, and Ngome. Appearing one by one was the group of young knights that Mechelen was friends with. And of course, Mechelen herself, alongside Almere. Seeing those two was always a different sort of relief, even a kind of joy. But Halle didn't approach them, at least not yet. Nobody here likely noticed his absence, a week was long in some ways and not at all in others, but one person would have noticed. And likely had some troubles because of it. Standing at the room's perimeter, Halle searched for his brother.

Bilskirnir, Squire of Jupiter“Dude,” Bilskirnir said, voice flat with disbelief. “What is that?”
That was a… swirly ball of light? The Code? Was that what the Code was? Valhalla had said stuff about it, and then Ganymede had said more stuff about it, and Bilskirnir had listened and nodded along and absorbed the information, but also… dude. He had no idea what was going on and he wasn’t ashamed to admit it. He’d gotten back into town with the team for the start of the season only for his magic and to be wonky and all the knights he knew acting weird about it. Like something was wrong.
Then, just now, he’d gotten that message. And here he was. In a room with a swirly ball of light, with a bunch of other knights. And it was just knights. There wasn’t a Senshi as far as the eye could see.
Bilskirnir let out a quiet whistle, glancing around at everyone.
“Badass,” he mumbled to himself. Look at all the cool outfits! Look at his cool outfit! He’d only become a Squire yesterday, and now this??? “Wait, that message said to come to the moon. Are we on the moon? Like the moon moon?”
