Cadet Lixian
Location: C2

Lixan took a steeling breathe as the Commodore spoke. This was it, he supposed. The electric hum sent a shiver down his back but Lixian brushed it off. He glanced at others as they either watched, or moved to spread out. He made his own move, striking out as a feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. He didn't like this.

Sailor Minkowski
Location: E6

This was her last chance to back out, to turn around, walk around, hope for the best. But would she be able to live with her choice if she did? Minkowski was conflicted- it was the first time she was given advanced warning like this, after all. She didn't like to fight, but she also didn't want to abandon those in need.

In the end, Minkowski settled for joining a teenage senshi with glowing tattoos, who seemed to be on her own, but still likely more than capable of handling things on her own. Perhaps, Minkowski thought, she herself just wanted not to be on her own, either, really...

"Hello, I'm Minkowski… I hope you don't mind... is it alright if I join you?" she asked the teen.

Location: C2

Caer Sidi inhaled. She wrapped the chain of her suncatcher around her hands, holding it up to her chest like it could protect her from whatever dangers might approach.

"I will shield us as best I can," she promised the group, although her hands shook and she didn't feel as confident as she was trying to sound.

There was someone near them, a Cadet. She turned to him, and waved him over. "Stick close to me," she said, "I can do shielding magic. I'll protect you, too."

Two minutes. And that time grew shorter with every word, every breath.

Two minutes until either the war ended, or everything went to hell.

Guinevere gave Morgan a sharp, firm nod. Sure, they didn't really have a leader, but Morgan was the only Super among them, the one with the most experience, and Guinevere trusted her. And better than that, all of them were here, together.

She would have been happier to have more of them, but this was enough. It would do.

"I've got distractions covered," she said, thinking of what her magic had done to Thorite. "Arthuradel, you can do offense, right? So we should be pretty okay."

Just missing a healer. The thought made her laugh, softly, almost to herself.

Here they went.

Aokigahara tensed. They had two minutes, counting down, until they would have to fight. There was time to flee, certainly, but it wasn't time he intended to take.

"Well," he said, softly, "be ready. This plan..summoning the Negaverse...it doesn't sit well with me," he confessed. He looekd to Caedus and Lyndin, and frowned. But as his eyes scanned the crowd, he noticed someone familiar nearby.

"Anser!" He called over to the Senshi of Geese, beckoning her to join them. "Stick with my brother and I; we'll be safer in numbers!"

Guardian Illyria
Location: F5
(in Ida's arms to be precise)

The effect of being picked up and coddled was exactly the response that Illyria had been hoping for. The added bonus of having her chin scratched in just the right way allowed Illyria's purring to grow more audible. She squirmed a little in Ida's arms before mewing softly. Even if a fight was coming, and if it was a large one, there was no other place that Illyria wished to be than at a friend's side. And Ida was just such a friend. Her voice, interrupted as it was by her purring, was strong, "but I want to be here. I maybe small but I want to be able to fight and protect those I care about. You saved me from a possible fate worse than death in that weird shadow realm place and I want to repay the favor. Let me do this for you .." and here her tiny voice broke off as she flipped herself around in Ida's hold to gently lean forward and paw at the senshi's cheek. "Please? I know I can fight."

Tiny toe beans splayed wide as she continued to idly paw at Ida's face and she butted her head against Ida's chin. She wanted to be here. But if Ida thought it too risky then what would she do? Would she slink back into the shadows and watch from afar or would she stick it out and fight anyway. She wanted to fight with Ida like they did in the realm of shadows ... coordination would be the best idea going forward. Acting in unison - a harmonious undertaking.

Squire Imbrium of Castor
Location: B6

It surprised her to see people joining her in the area, and the red-headed Castor Squire gave a nod to Morgan and Guinevere before Arthuradel caught her attention. "I remember you," she said to the chibi, "The fight in the park. You helped me out."

Adjusting her shield, Imbrium said, "Imbrium of Castor. I make ice walls. Surprisingly versatile; If I aim them at someone's face they don't like it. And as your friend there can confirm, they don't last long but they're effective enough to block a hit." Just painful- for her. "I could probably also just hit someone with my fists, though getting blood under my nails would be annoying." Not to mention she didn't actually know hoe to properly fight.

This was not the time to think about that. She'd just do what she always did.

Use her magic, and maybe consider religion.

Transcendent Super Anser
Location: E6

Anser shot Empyrean a bright grin before turning her attention back to the fight in front of her. She was ready. She cracked her knuckles as she set her body to prepare herself--

Oh!

"Yeah, sure! Love the butterfly bow." That same grin she had shot at Empyrean got shot at Minkowski before she turned back forward again. "Name's Anser. Of Geese. I'll be able to give us some buffs." Maybe some better buffs now, considering her no-longer-chibi status? To be honest, she hadn't gotten a shot to use these upgraded abilities in a real battle situation yet. She could almost hear her brother sighing in her mind. She wasn't sure she cared--

"Aokigahara!" Anser waved, beckoning for Minkowski to follow her as she decided to group up with the two squires. "Aoki, good to see you here! This is my pal, Minkowski."

Cadet Yddagen
Location: C3

'Duh'. Yddagen initially didn't quite understand why Lysvi had opted to relate that to humans, of all things, but slowly began to put the pieces together with the rest of their statement and let out an, "Ah," that spoke the depths of his lack of surprise.

And then she commented on his emotiveness.

Yddagen opened his mouth to snipe at them, but the reminder of Lyndin drew his attention first, and he looked to their Commodore and the King as they spoke. His mouth was in a grim line. He shifted, placing a hand on his blaster as Caedus pulled down the lever.

"We will certainly get to see him in action, Lysvi, but this is serious."

Yddagen knew she was taking this seriously, but--

"Prepare yourself. As the Commodore has always said, we should stay in groups." Which implied that Yddagen was staying with Lysvi, naturally.

Character Prince Castor of Hail
Location: E3
Character Eternal Pollux of Frost
Location: E3

As Castor read over the reply Jada had sent him, he sighed, bringing a hand up to pinch the bridge of his nose and try to alleviate the fact he and Marlo would need to think of some way to get it into their little sister's stubborn head that when they told her very pointedly not to do something, there was a very, very good reason for it.

Pulling his hand down over his face however he resigned himself to the fact it was far too late now to send her home- she'd probably encounter more agents than avoid them now. And while he could pick her up like a foot ball, drop her on his world and take her pen, that was uh... not great in the event he got taken out of commission. Maybe he'd do it to her another time. Some wilderness survival training would be good for her-

"Oi." Pollux knocked him in the ribs. "Dimmi che è una cattiva idea trascinarla a casa adesso. Perché mi mancano 30 secondi per farlo.*" There was a sharp bite in Pollux's voice, the one he so rarely used much less in the presence of their siblings or children.

It was very much a particular tone he only reserved for when he was truly, utterly furious, and it was usually when one of the children misbehaved to a very grave extent.

As is, it had thus far only happened a grand total of 8 times in over the last 5 years and each time Marlo had to be talked out of enacting some very creative punishments that just bordered along the line of cruel parenting. Just so, Castor looked from his brother, to Charbydis, back to his brother, then to her friends, then to her and-

"Beh, ti morderebbe e urlerebbe omicidio sanguinoso. Ma, oh, penso che sia PIENAMENTE consapevole di quanti problemi si trova. E se è intelligente e chiaramente NON è più un bambino, ci ascolterà se le diciamo di fare qualcosa da questo punto in poi.**" While Castor smiled at Charbydis, pretending that he had not very distinctly laid out a threat to her in Italian, he clapped his brother on the shoulder, who's stare at the senshi of seals was pointedly that of a man who was once protest away from carting her off and locking her in her room for the next 80 years.

"Ti abbiamo lasciato lì perché sei abbastanza intelligente da sapere come correre e come proteggerli se dovessi. E non dire "ancora". Sappiamo entrambi che nel momento in cui un gatto guarda anche Aidan o Dio non voglia, Hope, nessuno di voi perderà mai la mia vista.***"

Still Pollux huffed, looking at those she introduced. "Our apologies for our rudeness in speaking in another language in front of you all. As our sister said, I am Pollux of Frost, and this feathered idiot is my brother, Castor of Hail. It is a pleasure to meet those our Princess calls friends." The royal barked out a laugh.

"And, sorry my brother is so formal. Like he said though, it is good to know she has friends here." He looked at the cat, Etoile.

"Pardonnez son accent, elle a été élevée ici aux États-Unis****" While his french was slightly rusty- "Non pas que le mien soit meilleur. On me dit que Pollux et moi sonnons comme si nous venions de la campagne.*****"

Pollux just rolled his eyes and looked at Amsvartnir, Lepus, and Hokkaido. "Once more, I apologize that despite the title of prince, my brother lacks some social tact." His lips twitched, a faint smile on them despite his words.

"Do any of you have a plan formulated for when combat arises or escape should be needed?"

Translation
*Tell me it's a bad idea to drag her home right now. Because I am 30 seconds from doing it.

**Well she'd bite you and scream bloody murder. But, oh, I think she is FULLY aware of just how much trouble she is in. And if she is smart and very clearly NOT a baby anymore, she will listen to us if we tell her to do something from this point on.

***We left you there because you are smart- smart enough to know to run and how to protect them if you had to. And do not say 'yet'. You and I both know that the moment some cat even looks at Aidan or God forbid, Hope, none of you are ever leaving my sight.

****Forgive her accent, she was raised here in the states

*****Not that mine is any better. I'm told me and Pollux sound like we come from the countryside.

Tikal, Page of Ganymede
Location: E2

After guiding some confused pages to the site of the battle--they must have been freshly awakened since they didn't understand what Caedus had meant--Tikal separated off in an attempt to find the aura which had drawn her attention last time. She hadn't gotten much of a chance to speak with the princess--apparently her princess--but it felt right to take a stance near her in the upcoming battle.

Tikal's expression brightened minutely as she spotted the large wings among a small crowd. They certainly made it harder to lose Ganymede in the throngs of people that had showed up. Tikal finished her way over to the group--just in time to hear a page remark on massages at her parlor.

"Might take you up on that," Tikal murmured to the other Ganymede page, rubbing her neck pointedly, before turning her attention to Ganymede. "Not sure how much I can do with this other than attempt to use it as a garrote," she held up her necklace, "but I'm ready."

Imhotep, Page of Mercury
Location: E4

After staring at--and through--a page that conducted herself as if she thought herself better than them, Imhotep and Promethei had gotten the sought-after passage to the fight. That had led them to where they were now, surrounded by other people they had, he assumed, never met before. Of course, if his experience with getting his powers was any indication, there was something that happened when powered up that made people harder to recognise. Maybe he did know someone here, outside of all of this.

Anyway.

Though Promethei seemed to be tuned in to the speaking of the aliens near a generator, Imhotep's eyes immediately went to the generators themselves at the perimeter. Promethei's voice mentioned a 'megaweapon' caught Imhotep's attention for a moment. And so, his eyes went back to his husband. As said husband kept speaking, Imhotep's brows rose minutely.

At the question of being ready for anything, his brows rose just slightly further. His nod was short, but firm as he turned his attention out. Curt, almost.

Quietly, but with no less sarcasm, he rumbled, "Hope you're ready to shatter that test tube of yours."

Not that this... balsa wood was terribly much more useful.

Sailor Ran of Games
Location: E5

The aliens that Encke had mentioned when his cat gave Ran magic powers apparently needed assistance with something. Ran wasn't sure what he could offer, but he was game for the attempt. After telling his mothers that he was just going for a walk, he vanished into the night, taking off to where he was told the aliens were hanging out.

Oh.

There were a lot of them.

Alright.

His eyes scanned over the gathering, looking for a familiar bright clown--

There.

Ignoring the fact that Encke seemed to be embedded in a conversation with a squire, he strode up to Encke and said, "hi. Your cat woke me up. I'm your problem now." He realized he probably should acknowledge the squire. Ran gave a two-finger wave-salute to the knight before turning his attention to the generators.

Super Sailor Hydor
Location: B2

It didn't surprise him as much as it seemed to surprise some of his fellows that this event wasn't going to be without bloodshed. Of course there was going to be a fight. They were attempting to blast the source of their power with some comet space laser. Not only that, they were drawing them to the site of the space laser. They'd almost be foolish to not try and take out the generators.

Which was why Hydor planted himself near a generator the moment he got the chance.

He noticed that nearby there were two aliens who were saying something about how Lyndin had told them all to stick together. Were the aliens even prepared for this? The cadets seemed ... young. Even though he knew they were older than him, he couldn't help but to think they weren't necessarily more mature.

He'd keep an eye out.

Not that he cared.

Why would he--

Hydor turned his gaze out, harrumphed, and waited for the painful two minutes to be up.

Super Sailor Acrucis
Super Sailor Sidouer
Location: F2

“Honestly, I’m surprised you came. I thought your desire to remain a neutral party would have prevented you from showing.” Sidouer regarded the Senshi of Prayer with a tilt of her head. Arms crossed beneath her chest, the pale haired woman shifted her weight to her other foot.

The two of them had spoken at great lengths on Acrucis’ homeworld and while they both agreed that this plan was unwise, it seemed that when it came down to it, they were both destined to answer the call. Despite the desire to walk the morally grey line and live by the doctors' creed, to help rather than harm and to treat every person with respect and compassion, when push came to shove a side would always be chosen.

“I expect the outcome to be similar to the last time Cadeus asked for our help. He got us into the Negaverse stronghold but at the most critical moment, it was Cosmos that had to get us out. While we retrieved parts of the Code, and several stolen starseeds, very few came out of that battle unscathed.” Some bore the physical scars while others carried with them emotional ones that often went unseen.

“I remember that was around the time you stopped powering up.” The Senshi of Static’s expression softened. Time spent being mediator between her and Phact, trying to get them to mend the rift that had torn their friendship asunder. In the end, it had all been for naught and perhaps that was the reason the Senshi of Doves, and the clique that had formed around her, had decided to form a court without either of them.

Acrucis nodded then settled her gaze on Cadeus. Watched him for a long moment, her emotions and expression unreadable but at least she didn’t give off any hostile vibes.

“Hey,” Sidouer reached out and placed a gloved hand on her friend's shoulder. “I’ll watch your back. We’ll make it through this.” Wouldn’t make a promise of it but had every intention of trying her hardest.

Again the Senshi of Prayer simply nodded then, with a swipe of her hand, she produced the pearl they had found on her homeworld and offered it to Sidouer. “In case anything happens, I think you should hold onto this.” A precious item that could bring back someone who had recently died.

“No,” the pale haired woman shook her head then closed her hand around Acrucis’. You need to hold onto it. That’s your role in all of this, not mine.”

Sailor Eleonora
Cadet Cypher
Location: B3

Since the Vanguards arrival and Cadeus’ return, despite her sister’s protests, Eleonora had been powering up far more frequently than she had in recent months all in hopes of being able to speak with an alien one-on-one. Either her signature was too weak to merit any notice or consideration, her luck thus far had been abysmal at best.

Discouraged that she was unable to garner any helpful or interesting information about them to perhaps put Fiona’s mind at ease, she had been about to give up when she received a message stating that the energy needed has been collected and requested that everyone meet at the hillside where they gathered a few weeks prior.

Eleonora considered sending a quick text to her sister but decided against it. Wasn’t worth having another fight when things between them had finally settled down.

By the time she’d arrived the crowd was already massive, larger than she remembered it being but perhaps that was a good thing. Appeared that several of the Vanguard were mingling with the other Senshi and Knights, save for one that is.

Tall, as most of them were, with jet black hair and raspberry colored eyes, the decently built man stood at nearly a foot and a half taller than she was. Eleonora had to crane her neck back to look up at him. “Hello,” she greeted with a friendly smile. “How come you’re standing by yourself instead of with your comrade’s or one of the larger groups?”

Cypher looked down at the pale haired senshi, brow raised at how easily she approached him and initiated a conversation. “It’s difficult to be aware of my surroundings when there’s too much chatter. I can hear Commodore Lyndin’s instructions from here which is good enough for the time being.” Curious, he opened his ComTech and scrolled through the growing database of powered individuals and found her image, or description, to be missing.

Discreetly, he took a photo of her and politely asked, “What is your name?” The senshi smirked at him and he knew that he had made a mistake when it came to proper etiquette.

“Normally you introduce yourself first.” She explained with an amused glint in her slate-blue eyes. He nodded a wordless apology and she continued. “My name is Eleonora, the Senshi of Heat. And yours?” gazed up at him expectantly as he typed away, adding her identification to the form he had created.

“Cypher,” simply stated and was going to leave it at then when he noticed that she was waiting for more than just a name. He sighed but continued as expected. “I also go by Cy. I’m one of the many Cadets who traveled here under the command of Commodore Lyndin. It is both an honor and privilege to have been chosen to join him on this mission.”

“Do you actually believe that this will work? That after we get whatever we need from the comet that your leaders will be able to get rid of Chaos?” Her tone became far more cautious as she spoke. While Cy often miss spoke common phrases, he was able to pick up on the uncertainty that creased her brow and pulled her lips into a deepening frown.

“I have faith in Commodore Lyndin and trust that the research done in preparation of this mission will prove effective.” In what capacity he was unsure which is why he kept his answer to her vague. Unfortunately her expression didn’t change and he suspected that she was hoping for a more definitive answer. As Lyndin explained, a machine of this size has not been tested which is why so many precautions has been made.

“I see,” was her only reply as she turned her attention to the crowd and waited for the next set of instructions to be given. This has to work… I don’t want Fi to continue being so afraid of powering up all the time…

Page Slidr
Sailor Alcor
Location: D6

Fall was upon them and with it came strange happenings. Talks of alien abductions and lizardmen trying to break into builds all sounded absurd except for the fact it wasn’t the strangest thing he’s heard, or bore witness to, over the last several years. This time last year, or perhaps it was the year prior, many of them had been whisked away to another realm where there were shadow creatures, a carousel that kept spinning and a dragon.

These obscure stories sounded just like another day in Destiny City.

Fortunately, any reason Slidr may have had to not power up was a no-issue these days. The only one waiting for him when he got home from work was Riley, his Chesapeake Bay Retriever that Alexandre had given him not long after the two of them had started dating. Six years old now and still energetic as ever.

A lot had changed since then, some of which had been difficult to accept and sent him spiraling with thoughts he dared not give voice only because he did not want his mother or sister to worry. However, it was during his darkest hour that his wonder’s calling beckoned him to return to that frozen river, to remember his oath and resume his powered obligations.

Only after his recent move did he power up with any measure of frequency and while he missed the Aliens initial arrival, he did receive the current message.

When he arrived, Slidr was surprised to see how many Knights and Senshi had answered the call and while he recognized a number of them by uniform rather than name, the Page of Mercury approached a blue-haired woman who seemed to be standing alone. “So I guess the Alien abductions were true.”

“Hmm?” Alcor turned, not having realized that the young man was talking to her until she noticed him looking at her expectantly. “The alien part is true, yes. The abductions I’m not so sure.” Their plans involved energy gathering so who was to say they didn’t kidnap random people to use them as living battery packs?

“The one in the center,” he nodded his head in Cadeus’ direction. “He looks familiar. Isn’t he the one we helped out a few years ago?”

“One in the same. He went back to his world and came back with friends.” Alcor tried not to roll her eyes and instead closed them and drew in a deep breath before exhaling slowly.

“You don’t seem too happy about it.” Slidr observed. Both her body language and tone begged to be anywhere but here.

The Senshi of Cold looked up at him, “I have a twin. She’s here… somewhere.” Chalk it up to that twin sense, but without needing to call her, Alcor knew that Eleonora was present. If not, then she was undoubtedly on her way. “She’s reckless and impulsive. I’m worried if I didn’t show up that she may do something stupid and get hurt, or worse…” she refused to give voice to the very real possibility that some may die for the sake of a chance at destroying Chaos since there was no guarantee.

“I have a younger sister as well, so I can sympathize with your feelings.” Fortunately Jenna was not a part of this war so he didn’t need to worry about her randomly showing up or putting herself in harms way. “Do you need help finding her?”

“I appreciate the offer, but no. I’m sure I’ll run into her at some point. But if you happen to run into a senshi; same eye and skin color as mine but her hair is snow colored and her uniform is more like a belly dancer. Her name is Eleonora, the Senshi of Heat. Please…” Her voice trailed off only after realizing that she was about to ask a stranger to protect her, or deliver a message on her behalf. How selfish of her to pin that responsibility on someone else.

“I understand.” The Page offered her a reassuring smile. “If you two are twins, then is it safe to assume that you’re the Senshi of Cold then?” Her uniform looked more suited for Winter weather.

“I -uh… yeah. My name is Alcor.” she offered her name, a light pink blush sweeping across her cheeks out of embarrassment for not leading with that bit of information first.

“Slidr,” he offered a hand in a friendly greeting which she reluctantly took.

“Thank you, Slidr” Alcor let go of his hand and tucked both of hers into her oversized, fur-trimmed sleeves. The two fell silent then in anticipation of the next set of instructions.
