His father continued to be a marine, fighting for his country and our allies but spent as much time as he could with his son, help his mother teach him how to defend himself from crazed loan sharks and yakuza. They didn't know about the supernatural beings at the time.
One day while Lane was playing with the rest of the kids from the area, some men came and grabbed Lane, shoving him in their van where he was held captive for about three weeks. It was a rival sub-unit looking to score their territory and keep Lane as hostage. This was around the time when word started getting out about other races living within them. Researching to come up with an serum that would boost the human's cells to fight against the non-humans, the rival unit thought that they had it and injected it into Lane's healthy body. His cells refused the alien toxins and Lane had a seizure, hearing his name being shouted from a loved one before it all went dark.
When he came to, Lane realized that he was blind in his left eye. Nothing had changed from his normal stats besides his immune system dipping in and out but it was only for a little while. To ensure the family's safety, Lane's family moved out of Iwakuni and towards Okinawa. Lane is hazy about the time he was held captive but lived on like any other normal teenage boy. His father and mother trained him with everything that they knew and he was always eager to learn though when he went to public school, they had to cut back because he was always looking for a challenge to test his skills. Eventually, he was labeled as a delinquent. He heard about the school that had supernatural beings and humans co-existing and had to beg his parents to let him attend. He loves being at this place even though he doesn't necessarily get along with everyone. So, for now, he tells himself that he might as well just save the day while he can and when he reaches the point where he's well known, his real parents will come back for him. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The bond between a crow and a human wasn't allowed in their clan and to continue living, they had to erase all traces that a child and their relationship even existed. Not wanting to end their child's life, they simply left him in a place where they hope that he would be able to find a loving home that they wouldn't be able to give him. Personality:Break is the kind to be in the moment. The reacts as though he has a super villian and tries to be the hero at every possible moment. Break is a huge crybaby whenever something doesn't go his way, but he's trying to fix it. He's very loving and usually has a smile on his face. In a normal mood, Break's eyes are yellow. Sang Chol had always been one of the students that were rather well respected. His parents, and the rest of his family, are top-notch and famous doctors who had funded the MyungDu Boy's Institute for a long time. From the outside, he just seems like another pretentious rich boy and on the inside, well, he's exactly that. As a child, Sang Chol was put up and discplined by nannies and tutors because of the hectic work schedule that his parents had. Whenever he would see them, he'd go up to them with a huge smiling face but the only response that he got was a weak smile and "we're too tired to play today, honey". Instead of just being depressed in the corner over how much his parents probably didn't love him, he pushed his tutors hard to teach him everything that he needed to know that would gear him up for medical school so that, in time, he'd be able to spend a bit more time with his parents at their work place, the hospital. Graduations between elementary and middle, school dances, field trips, speeches, parents' day, and talent shows, Ha Sang Chol went by himself. There was an occasional uncle or aunt that came along with him in place of his parents but none of them actually went to any of these events. It was clear to others that they really didn't know their child at all. When asked what his hobbies were, his parents merely replied that he was all into sports and video games when, instead, he was studying medical terminology, taking musical lessons, and reading. He never corrected them, though, because it showed that they still had just a slight interest in him. Unlike others, he was just thankful that he still had two parents and a roof over his head, food on the table, and clothing on his back. They had given birth to him and soon it would be his turn to help them live the rest of their life. With no siblings or first cousins that were male, he would inherit the family hospital but he had to prove he had what it takes first.
At the Institute, Sang Chol took harder nursing classes and eventually dawned on him if this was what he really wanted to do. A close classmate of his had asked him if he was super excited to be the head of the family business and he actually stared at his classmate, nothing coming out of his mouth. He was shocked by his response. Was he growing up way too soon? Realizing that he had been studying all of his life just for his parents to notice him when they were too absorbed into their profession, Sang Chol began skipping classes and putting in half-assed work. He started to find things that normal boys would like and came across a band called 4ESSENCE. He became a fan almost immediately and started listening to them as if he were possessed. No matter where he went, he had always kept a music player with him. There was one day when he was studying in the library and started singing along to one of 4ESSENCE's songs. Another classmate came by and told him that he had a really nice voice for someone who seemed cold and distant all of the time. After making the classmate explain what he meant by that, the other told him of some auditions coming up for a certain agency. Sang Chol laughed it off but was interested so he looked up what he had to do to join. He did this without telling anybody at first because he wasn't serious but the more that he researched and, eventually, was doing the training for the auditions, he was hooked. The thought about being an idol baffled him but intrigued him even more.
Sang Chol was passing each of the auditions with ease aside from the dancing but with a lot of practice he could get the basic steps down. The talent agency appreciated his dashing good looks, strong voice and his vocal range and said that he'd be perfect for this concept of the boy band that they were making. He was one of the first picks. As for being chosen as a leader, it was really simple. Rock, paper, scissors. He just happens to be really good at using his reflexes and skills in reading what the others were choosing to win.
When the school year ended, Sang Chol resigned from his idol life and went to focus on becomming a regular high school graduate (TOP FIVE, BABY) but things didn't go as quietly as he had hoped. It was something that he had foreseen but it had gotten so bad that Sang Chol had to rethink his college career and settled for a school that wasn't exactly well-known. He plans on going back to his first school of choice whenever things die down but this school also has a medical program, too, and he's already applied getting first choice in the program. He definitely misses his idol years and the memories but it's time to start adulting now.
Personality: Sang Chol is very calm and reserved towards others but he doesn't just let things come to him. He's always wanting to go above and beyond and is rebellious when it comes to what he's actually supposed to be doing. He's a bit manipulative and is known to immediately call someone out when he thinks something is wrong. He's strict on his friends but that's for their own good. Sang Chol isn't the type to fanboy over anyone or anything but he shows interest in a lot of things which is why some people will label him as an a*****e or someone who just doesn't care. He just has a hard time showing true sympathy and is known to just stand there and stare when somebody is crying over the death of someone instead of trying to comfort them. Jeong Yo Han is a typical male Korean student. He just got hella famous when he decided to join his school's Idol club group, SO4RING. He grew up in Seoul and has lived there about his entire life. His parents were regular working citizens each with their own problems. Mother was a gambler and father was an alcoholic. He also has an older sister who Yo Han tends to avoid because she is really clingy to him. ...sexually. It's no wonder why this boy is so messed up.
Ever since he was little, Yo Han loved to play video games. Whenever his parents would take a breather from their addictions they would gather up enough money for him to go to the arcade and duke it out with other people. He found that the best sort of gaming was where he could beat the virtual s**t out of others and that sort of fell into real life. He taught himself how to throw a punch by watching various videos and studying the moves of his favorite heroes and with the mindset that since he was so epic at video gaming, he'd be equally as OP in real life. He fell into the virtual world so hard. This led to many troubling things such as not attending school, getting violent whenever he was being pulled away from the screen, and not paying attention to everyday life. There was one point in his life where he literally conjured up life as a Sim's game.
His parents weren't really neglectful, per se, but they let him do whatever the hell he wanted because he wouldn't listen to them anyway. He has this thing against authority like figures and just ignores them. He'll call a teacher by their first name or a boss by a certain nickname. Juvie was a place that he frequently visited when he was a minor and now the town's jail cell holder became his hangout place. He's done a lot of small misdemeanors and has more than five pages on his record. Now that he's an idol, though, there isn't too much time for causing trouble so at least that's one thing that his parents are proud about.
BAH HA HA. Now the important part : Yo Han found out about the school's club because his teachers told him that he needed to have at least one extracurricular in order to graduate. He was already playing bass guitar at that age and the nerds in the anime club were really annoying so fck dat. He came across the Kpop group when they were running auditions and YoHan really didn't see any reason why they wouldn't accept him so he went into it and did his best. The rest was history. SO4RING didn't really have to go through all of the intensive training like the others since they didn't have to worry about dancing so much as they were playing instruments but it was still strenuous. However, Yo Han has been a big fan of music for the longest time that he figured that he might as well be famous for it, too. His goal is to make enough money so that he could buy all of the games and body pillows he ever needed.
NOW having graduated high school (he totally didn't think that he'd graduate) he was forced into this school because of some of the other members. He really didn't want to see Ji leave him so easily. HAHA. He's got the promotion at McDonalds and now he's a manager there. He didn't stay for very long because of some customer complaints but with the leader of SO4RING leaving, they've been overly popular. He's pretty much living the good life. He hopes to either become the owner of an H-game company or marry a ********' rich girl.
Personality:Yo Han is very much into skinship and he loves appealing to fans but he's got a bit of a temper. He's a loud mouth and doesn't mind resorting to violence. He needs somebody to keep constant watch over him. He's much like a puppy because he's very energetic. He doesn't take well to losing and is often a sore loser. He's also very stubborn so if he doesn't want to do something then you might as well give up on the idea. YoHan is very flirtatious as an idol but he's rather fanboy-ish and thug-like off camera. Very impulsive but he gets rather excited when it comes to things that he really likes. He's the type to go around with his hands in his pants and bark insults while over-stepping others personal boundaries if you piss him off. Yo Han is very impolite and doesn't use proper honorifics if they need them which is one of the reasons why it took him so long to finally get accepted into an agency. One of the reasons for this was because they had inhibited the spirit of Leviathan one of the seven princes of Hell that encompass envy. The Belmovs hadn't have Leviathan take on the host of one of their own in centuries so they had believed that it was no longer their family to take the turn of Leviathan but it was when Vladimir was born when they realized that the child who would spend most of his time in the water and come back with poisonous creatures did they finally realize that the weird likes and dislikes of their child was not because he was eccentric but because he had the crowned prince in him. Vladimir did anything that he wanted and was treated as a prize but he knew his worth and didn't overstep the boundary unless he was absolutely bored or wanted something that somebody else had. Personality: One of the characters that you definitely don't want to get angry, Vladimir carries a warm exterior despite the freezing gaze he puts on people. He's normally very generous and has an attitude that you can come up to him and talk to him anytime but if you mess up something in his schedule it's hard to gain that friendliness back without a hidden motive. He does really well in school and is passionate about what he does but if you get him off track and ask him to go hang out he will completely forget about his responsibilities. Content with stealing the neighbors livestock and seasoning them in ways even humans will think is filet mignon, Kiyo could have probably lived like this for the rest of his life. That is, until he decided to get bored and take a bite out of his own neighbor. At first it was a mistake but there would end up being more instances until he finished off his neighbor, his wife, and his kids. Nobody was left. The taste was so divine that Kiyo craved the flesh even more than the animals he devoured for the past life. There weren't a lot of people living around him so he packed up his belongings and went on his soul-searching journey. There was no way that nobody else was like him and he wanted to find others who had more culinary experiences. The feeling of that first swallow was too difficult to make disappear and throughout his pre-teen years he raged rampant on countless cities.
It was until he was nearing seveteen that he had fallen in love with a human girl. He didn't know how the attraction even started but she was so kind to him and wasn't afraid like the rest were. She saw the humanity in him and wanted that to come out of hiding so she did her best, in small amounts, each day to regain that side of him back. Two and a half years later he was able to walk around the mall and keep the hunger in him from kidnapping someone and he felt that he could live this life. The only problem was that the girl that he so loved was already engaged to a much wealthier and powerful male. The other man found out about Kiyo's affinity for the female and told Kiyo that she was dealthy afraid of him and often spoke about ways to get rid of the monster that she hung out with. At first Kiyo didn't believe the jealous fiance but the boy was in his thoughts and the idea that she really didn't like him tore him apart. The next day Kiyo and the girl hung out, Kiyo got rid of her the old fashion way. Personality: YOU AIN"T SEEN ANYBODY AS INTENSE. The girl that he loved is gone but he took up her suggestion to try to be as normal as possible so that others could be-friend him. Even without all of the bloodlust, Kiyo was one of the shy kids and tend to keep to himself. He's tried all of the technology that enables one to hear but it's not compatible with him for some reason. Callum was born from the youngest daughter of the main van Hise bloodline. He was said to be a twin but he ate his sibling in the womb after fighting for dominance. (If both were born, Callum definitely wasn't going to be the favorite baby.) Besides the poor eyesight, Callum also has a hearing disability so he wasn't bragged about very often at family reunions. He was more of the type to stick to his mother instead of playing with his cousins. Not wanting to be in shame of their defect son, Callum was set to lessons in learning how to "talk" with his hands and memorize lip formations for certain words. They did all that they could for their only baby. Callum hated doing homework and going to school but he wanted to impress his parents so much that he kept at it even though he wanted so badly to interact with his cousins. Eventually, he got better at it but he still sucks at reading whenever someone just moves their mouth. Like the rest of his cousins, he was sent to this school.
