Lofnia was on her way to the event after doing a little bit of sight seeing of the city. It was during her explorations did she noticed her sister Saiya and a gentleman she had never seen before. It caused the Queen of Spades to chuckled as her golden yellow eyes gave Yukina one last look over and walked away. It was a rather nice sight to see Joker chatting with someone. Even though her current behavior is all an act.
She knows the only time her sister will ever show her true self, is when that person does something wrong and unforgivable."Now then the ones left to make their grand entrance are those three..." Of course she was referring to the Mr. Calm and collective, Devian, her partner in crime Cora and the Jack of Spades. Although that brother rarely shows himself.
Lofnia ventured forward to the ballroom with her silvery hair swaying behind her with each step she took. The scent of blood of every race attending was rather a delightful smell. But she had already so no more feeding for her until the next time hunger do strike. With graceful and elegant strides,Lofnia entered the ballroom and was admiring the decor. She gives her compliments to the designer or the one responsible for such fabulous work.
°°// Bella was watching everyone having a great time , talking and catching up with old friends , this was her third year at the academy, she went to high school here but she never made one friend since she was here , she was one those people that you would walk past by and never think about because she was like a ghost. Bella wanted to make friends this year or maybe fall in love she would do her best to fight her shyness away, and as luck would have it she heard a voice coming out of no were , she looked over to her side and saw a very handsome guy ..and he was taking to her!? ...he noticed her in the corner , not many people see her or even notice she was there but he did , Bella blushed when he spoke to her , she didn't saw anything yet but didn't want to be rude and not take the drink , so Bella smiled softly at him and nodded her head taking the other glass he had in his hands " th-th-ank yo-ou fo-r th-e dr-rink !", Bella's voice was gentle and soft like slik but also smooth and strong she was polite and curtsy slightly , her mother always said no matter who there are always curtsy , it show that you respect them as a person. // °°

Rhett was sorta impressed. From what he could see, the ballroom was decorated very well for just being school function. As he walked through the main doors, he was greeted and he said hello to a few people he passed. Rhett noticed he was getting a few appreciative looks and he smiled in return. After grabbing a drink for himself from a waiter passing by, he made his way over to a less populated area and took a look around to see if he finds anyone interesting to talk too. He wanted to avoid anyone he knew already, so he took his time choosing someone. He was just about to give up when he saw a girl hiding in a corner of the room. He first noticed the cute lolita outfit she was wearing and then her lovely red hair, but his interest was peeked when got the sense she was magical. Rhett always had a habit of being able to pick out people with magical abilities or were magical beings. So he grabbed another drink from a passing waiter and walked up to the girl slowly. He didn't want to startle her, as she looked pretty nervous. “Good evening Miss, care for a drink?” He says, holding the drink to her with a charming smile.

Hazle was amused as she watched the two males play there little game. She was happy she got a front row seat, even if she did earn quite a glare. Unfortunately, Mr. Vyuxiros's reaction was interrupted by another instructor. Mr. Monroe turned back to her and was about to speak when an overly polite voice stopped him. Hazle just knew when she heard Mr. Vyuxiros ask Mr. Monroe to accompany her as a greeter, that he just set himself up for failure. She giggled when she saw Mr. Monroe's oh so innocent smile.
When he agreed, Hazle was quite surprised, but then understood his aim once he started to name some conditions. Mr. Monroe pointed out the statue some student made in the middle of the dance floor and spoke of removing it. She rolled her eyes at the site. "Oh dear, if you would take care of that for us, it would be appreciated.", Hazel added. She did have to wonder how a student was able to put the statue up even with her protection spell in place, but that was another issue to be solved later. When she heard the second condition, Hazel grew ecstatic, bouncing on her feet in excitement. "Please! It's such a shame Mr. Monroe and I can't participate in a dance. Im sure the both of us would enjoy seeing you and Miss. Nona dance in our place!" Hazel threw in a puppy dog look, hoping it would aid convincing Mr. Vyuxiros.
Hazle then noticed the statue was missing. She saw one of the Van Hise standing close to where it once was and figured she dealt with it. She would have to thank her later. "Lucky for you, seems the statue situation is taken care of, so a dance is the least Mr. Monroe could ask for. It's not too much to ask is it?" She questions.

Ayumi sat there at her empty table, succeeding herself in her want to seem small and blend into the background, so many people. And no doubt most of them being creatures she didnt know how to handle. She continued to dart her eyes around looking for Richie, being the only freind she really had made thus far, her hidden shyness getting the better of her. It didnt take long for her to find Richie in the crowd as she sat observing; He found her, seemly perking up at his arrival. Her cold expression broke for a moment and she smiled when he greeted her, "Hello Richie" She managed, thick with accent. Richie set a gift in her palm, her cheeks heated to a blush yet again. Was this spoil Ayumi day today or something? First his good luck teddy bear, then this beautiful outfit from Babushka and Dmitri, now another gift? She held the item in her hands and eyed it a bit, curious."Eh, Thank you, Richie." She managed again, noticing she was getting a bit better on her english already, even without his lucky bear with her. "Eh.. Very nice. "She said to him before stopping as he explained that if he didnt save someone the world would end."Who?" She wondered, before noticing also his nosebleed. She blinked a few times, before taking one of the napkins on the table, standing, and walking over to where he was seated. Her time in the orphanage made her take on a older sister like roll, so she didnt think anything of it when she placed a hand under his chin, tilting it up so his eyes met her own, and pressing the napkin to the blood steaks leaving his nose. She holds one hand there, before using the other to take his hand in hers, and move his hand to hold the napkin to his bleeding nose. "Eh... Hurts? Here.. Feeling ok are you?"She asks, mixing her english up a bit before standing up straight again and looking at him.

Floki lead Alluna into the ballroom, arms linked. Once they entered, he walked her over to the side so to not block the entrance. He took a moment to look at the room before leaning to his friend, speaking lowly. "It looks nice, but it reeks in here.", he says, scrunching his nose. He could smell some other vampires, which he knew it best to avoid them. His kind were rather territorial. He could also smell someone familiar, his sister. Grimacing, Floki let go of Alluna's arm and took a step back. "Would you wait here a moment? I'll get us some drinks." He said before rushing off at a speed no human could comprehend.
Floki started to sniff the air once out of Alluna's line of site. She followed his sister's scent until he found her rather close to the entrance. Why he didn't see her before, is beyond him. He quickly walked up to her and grabbed her arm with great force, but in no way enough to cause her harm. They were vampires after all. "What are you doing here?!", he growls with a deep frown. "You know what, nevermind that right now. Come say hello to Alluna, I cant keep her waiting and there are other vampires here. We will need to stick together for now." Floki finishes and lets go of his sister's arm. He points towards Alluna's direction before walking away, knowing she would follow. He grabs two drinks as he passes a waitress and hands one to Alluna as soon as they are reunited. "Here you go. Guess who I ran into, my sister Lofnia. Im sure its been along time since you both have seen each other." He comments in a bored tone.

Alluna's eyes blinked in surprise. His speed is something she will never be use to. She wasn't use to it back then and she is still not use to it now. But it was still one of his good traits she like about him. Her head nodded at the mentioning of drinks as she waited while gazing around the room.
As soon as he returned and bought Lofnia along, Alluna had smiled in surprised and hugged the girl. "Oh my goodness! It has been awhile. How are you?" It didn't take her too long noticed Floki's behavior. That only happens when there is a presence of another vampire around. She leaned in close to softly whisper into his ear. "I guess Mr.Card didn't mention it. But this school also have a lot of vampires attending.

Shizu sighed inwardly as he examined the ballroom and those in it. Shame they didn't have much alcohol here. Probably cause the kids. There were plenty of wallflowers. The teachers were mainly keeping to themselves and vice versa. Not many students were conversing either. Shizu figured he would change that. He trailed his eyes along the area to lock a prey who he could drag to the dance floor. His eyes landed to a male by the fireplace, reading it looked like. He's cute. Making his way, he sauntered over to the d.j. Leaning over to the dj. He whispered to him to put on this song. That should get people in the mood to dance if this doesn't.People need to stop being so dull. This is a ballroom. An event. Why are there wallflowers. Or people just standing around. He then made his way over to the male and actually smiled for once. Though, this was all to try and get the male to dance with him. Though if he wanted to he could use his powers to force him to. Care to dance sir?~You don't look like a student. Therefore I could always get your name later~ If the male refused, he would just shrug and say his loss before dancing alone. Though truthfully, he had approached the male based on how attractive he looked. He didn't smell magical so he could be a human. Human men were normally the ones to fall prey to sirens and mermaids the most after all~

Lofnia 'Queen Of Spades' Card
Lofnia frowned at her brother's displeasure and sighed. When he had asked her for her reasons for being at the school she went to the point. Never being the one to take long to tell a tale. However after he had grabbed her arm and pulled her towards Alluna, she beamed in delight and hugged back. "Ah Alluna dear it has been awhile."
She was amazed at her grown and good looking the girl had become. "My my look at how beautiful you've been beocme." She smiled teasingly and took Floki's advice at heart. "So tell me did you get a boyfriend yet?" Lofnia soon remembered Floki's question and sighed. "My reason here is because father sent..us." With a shrug of her shoulder, The Queen of Spades took a glass of champagne from a passing waiter's tray and winked at him.
"In other words little Floki, Saiya, Cora, Devian and everyone is here at the academy." Lofnia took a sip of her drink and stood beside Alluna,
Rhett smiled brightly when the girl accepted the drink and chuckled lightly when she thanked him. "No need to thank me, I was just being polite. My name is Rhett Francis, it's nice to make your acquaintance." He said as he reached out to shake her hand. After introductions, Rhett paused for a moment to look around the room and sip his drink. He wondered how long he would have to stay at this Meet & Greet. While he loved these types of things, he was a bit tired from unpacking.
The silence was comfortable, but conversation is what he came for so he spoke again. "Do you not enjoy the festivities?" Rhett questioned. "Personally, I love them. You always get to meet new and interesting people, like yourself." He said with a smirk. With a flick of his wrist, a white flower previously in one of the vases on the tables, was in his hand. He handed her the flower and smiled brightly. At this point, Rhett is hoping the girl wouldn't freak out. It was kinda a hit and miss when he does stuff like this. "For you, I hope you don't mind."
→ Delphi was the one thing in life that she absolutely detested. Late. She’d gotten so wrapped up in conversations with Ryu, Leo, and Tatsu that she’d completely forgotten about the event. She really should have left when Leo did but had instead decided to say behind to converse more with the newest teacher. Ah, she wouldn’t let that happen again. No way. On the upside, he’d been a pleasure to speak with; aside from what she assessed was an attempt to jokingly hit on her. She let that roll off though. Now Delphi was left dashing to the ballroom, her heels clicking on the tile floor. She knew someone would have some smartass comment to make when she rolled in. You see, Del expected everyone to be punctual. She was even known to shut a door in the face of students that had arrived only moments late. “I’m so sorry, my hair took much longer than I expected it to.” she muttered, doing her best to make her half a** excuse sound believable. What was the use? They’d see right through her as soon as the words began to fall from her mouth.
→ She passed through the doors to the ballroom, immediately turning around to survey the area. It wasn’t too bad. She wondered who had been suckered into hanging all these decorations. Screw that. Magic was likely involved. Like anyone here would take the time coordinating such flawless décor by hand. The thought was almost laughable. Oh, what was this? Almost all of the instructors had decided to huddle together by the entrance way. “We must be on greeter duty.” Del surmised. Either that or they were deciding how to divvy tasks. Ugh! Didn’t they come out to these things to have fun? The last thing she wanted to do was get roped into some menial task. To be fair, the last time they had let the students off leash at one of these events one had managed to light the drapes on fire. Ah, good times. “Good evening. How is everyone tonight?” Delphi asked, carefully sliding her way into the group. She was setting herself up to greet each member one by one but was instantly distracted by Hazel. Her outfits were always so adorable. “Ah, Ms. Dupree, you always have the cutest outfits. You’ve got to tell me where you shop some time.” She turned her attention the males of the group. “Mr. Monroe. Mr. Vyuxiros. I trust you all are having fun. I was hoping to arrive after all the hard work was done.” she snickered. So much for her ill thought out excuse. She blew her chance to use it as soon as she opened her mouth. Del had to admit, she was pretty impressed with the amount of people that had come out. Then again, this was a mandatory event the last time she checked. She’d gotten at least five reminders about it. "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"
Bella held the drink in her hand close to her chest taking light sips , she blushed when he spoke again to her she smiled and did her best to reply to Rhett " its a p-p-pleasure to- meet you Rhett ",Bella cleared her throat trying to get ride of her shy stutter " I'm Isabella Heart , but please call me Bella ..", she smiled to herself she spoke to someone was out stuttering but still her true voice wasn't their but it was a started.
Bella took few more sips of the drink Rhett had handed her when he started up another conversation about her not enjoying the event , Bella was going to speak but then was cut off when he flick his wrist and handed her a very beautiful white rose . Bella widen her eyes a bit not in surprise but that he was a magic user like her was he a witch?, ah no his magic doesn't smell like a witches magic or a wizards..
Bella could always tell the difference between magic user's by their scent, each race of magic user's had their scent , witches that used white magic always smell like nartue and rain , and for witches that use dark magic smelled like well like death..Bella took the white rose from Rhett so she won't seemed rude and she smiled back at him , Bella twirled the white rose between her index and thumb and spoke " it's not that... I don't enjoy it, ...it's just hard for me to be social with my shyness..", Bella spoke gently but she still had some of that stutter in her voice , she said and spoke once more looking at the flower making it easier to talk to Rhett was out being so shy " heh..aren't you a charming fella , thank you for the lovely white rose", she smelled the rose and blushed when she finally looked at him " I'm guessing you must be a magic user of some sorts , you don't smell like a good witch or a bad witch, and based on your magic scent you must be a Faerie?". Bella just blushed when she realize she talked to Rhett with her real voice it wasn't stuttering or quiet , it was her smooth and strong voice that was speaking.
Bella wanted to repay him for the rose and flicked her eyes over to a butler who was carrying chocolate strawberries and used her telekinesis to float them over to Rhett " um..strawberry?", bella hoped she didn't ruined their conversation by freaking him out with her telekinese power most are scared of because of this but she never use her powers to hurt someone never..
Matheo could not say if he was enjoying himself or not. The book that has been keeping his attention all day had started to grow dull. Still he continued to push through, Matheo never left a book unfinished. Periodically, he would take a break from reading and do some people watching. Once he looked up to see a statue in the middle of the dance floor and the next time he did, it was gone. Things seem to be ever changing... At least people are having fun. After that, he fixed his attention back on his book.
It was moments later when a voice asking for a dance broke his concentration. "Forgive me, but I-" Matheo stopped mid sentence once he looked up to see who stood before him. He was completely shocked to have such a beautiful woman ask him for a dance. His mouth dropped and he stared for a moment before realizing his manners. "Oh, um. I apologize for my rudeness. I could not deny a request from such a beautiful woman." He says with the smallest of smiles. He stands up, placing his book on the chair, then holds out his arm for the woman to hold as they walked. "Shall we?" He says, head tilting towards the dance floor.
Callum van Hise sat in the back of the vehicle that his parents had told his chaffeur to drive. It was much comfortable than the rest of the other cars that he had to sit in but he guessed that it was because his parents were trying really hard not to be too happy that their deaf child was leaving them for another full year for college. He was already in his suit and tie ensemble for he was told that they would be arriving late. It was his own fault that Callum didn't pay enough attention towards the coming date of the start of school but somebody could've reminded him once or twice. Because of the late minute schedule, the person that his parents had made come with him on his journey to the school was the new butler, Simon. He barely knew sign language and wanted to sign out each letter. He made many mistakes but Callum couldn't get rid of him until he got to the school grounds because the drivers certainly didn't know a lick of sign lanuage. It wasn't like he would be able to see what they were signing, anyway, since they were on the other side of the partition. Callum had rolled that up a long time ago because he had demanded they turn off the music. He didn't know what it was but he could feel the vibrations of the seat moving in rapid patterns making his back itch just slightly.
If you haven't noticed already, Callum is deaf. He stared out of the window for a little bit before he saw Simon wave to him out of the corner of his eye. He moved his gaze as Simon awkwardly pointed to him ("Me"), then brought both of his hands up and curled his fingers before moving both of his index fingers and pointed down ("Go-Where"). With each movement, Simon moved his lips to say what he had meant. Callum had learned to just read his lips. While there were somethings that he could sign correctly it was often awkward and out of place. He turned his body towards Simon so that he could see his body with his response. Callum lifted both arms and brought his hands in, right over left, in front of his chest ("Room". Come on you should know this.".) before doing a mock waltz. Simon looked immensely confused and but he ended up getting to the conclusion when Callum grabbed at his suit. Simon laughed, bringing up a hand to hide his mouth as he looked away before giving Callum a thumbs up. Callum shook his head. "Dumb oaf." He thought to himself as he noticed that the car was turning towards the gates of the school. He still got a bit nervous every time he came here because it meant that he would soon see his other van Hise clan members soon.
Coming to a stop, Callum waited for one of the staff to open the doors before he walked out. The black-tint of the windows hid the color that was the academy but after getting out, Callum found himself smiling just slightly as he took in the view. It was nothing too extravagant but he was away from his parents' and grandfather's eyes. He had a bit of freedom here. Callum began to walk away from the vehicle. They knew what they were supposed to do. His father had mentioned their follow-up jobs before they had left the estate. Simon was to go check him in and unpack for him while Callum went to the Meet-and-Greet. The most that he would be able to do is read lips since he wouldn't be able to find somebody to sign as quickly as he'd like. Maybe he would find Adelaide, the girl that he became friends with in the Newspaper Club that he was in last year. Turning around to look back at his staff, Callum saw Simon struggle a bit with a suitcase. He stared for a moment before closing his left hand into the letter 'A' and set it in the palm of his right hand before raising both hands. ("Help?") Simon smiled at him and shook his hand and motioned for Callum to go ahead. "Good. I wasn't going to help you, anyway. Bye, Felicia."
Ballroom
Callum had reached the entrance of the event, recognizing the sweet smell of iron. Doing his best not to question it, his reporter skills itching to find out what happened, Callum gave the person at the door a smile and was greeted at the door like usual. He looked around the room with his head held high and shoulders back. He wanted to first make an impression to make the other kids know not to mess with him but, really, this was just a sort of scare tactic. If someone tried to beat him up, he'd just try to "talk" it out. He wasn't all about that violent life. A waitress came up towards him, carrying drinks. He took one but it wasn't like he was going to drink it. He carried the beverage along his side as he walked over to the food table. There weren't many people crowded the long table of food so he figured that it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and grab a bite to eat but overlooking the menu, he couldn't find anything that he really wanted. Still, he thought it best that he put some food in his mouth so he grabbed some items that weren't overly messy and stacked them on a plate. "Where's the diversity in food? You have plenty of vampires at this scho---Oh, there you are." He thought as his eyes showed a bit of interest as he found what he was looking for. He could practically smell the faint scent of blood on the item. He set down the plate that he had tried to pile food on for a moment as he grabbed the tongs.

Shizu decided he could allow some emotion to show. He was in a way, acting. This man was delightful. The male in front of him seemed completely captivated by him. Shizu even let out a soft chiming laugh as the male gazed at him open mouth for a bit before remembering his manners. He thinks I am a female. Oh how fun~ A beautiful one at that. My, he sure is quite charming.I am honored that you have decided to accept my request~ Shizu's tone was light as he watched the male stand up and put his book down. He moved his eyes a bit to catch a glimpse at what the male might have been reading before his eyes met the males again.
When he held out his arm, Shizu took it before nodding in answer as they walked. Indeed we shall~ My name is Shizu Umiko I am a teacher here. Shizu gave a ghost of a smile this time, though his eyes were shining, he had gone back to his usual expressionless face. Though he was showing more emotion then normal, it was an event after all. Plus, he looked forward to learning more about this male. After all, who doesn't like someone with intelligence. He figured he would go ahead and introduce himself, hoping the male would give his name as well. Shizu did not say what he taught for the purpose of creating more conversation. He might or might not have quickly calculated a plan, after spotting him. Though, as they began to dance, Shizu had no problem with staying silent as well. The dancing could always do all the talking. Dancing was another form of art, another way of speaking without words.
As they danced, Shizu would try to allow him to lead. After all, it was normally the male who led and not the female. It was not a hard thing to do, though he could not help want to throw a couple fancy moves in there. After all the music was to tango and Shizu did love to do so.~ With a small smile, he spoke. Do you perhaps know how to tango~ If not...I don't mind teaching you...Sometime~Actually, I don't mind just dancing around you. But hey~ If he likes to learn new things it is a chance to get to learn more about him. I'm so sly.~ Shizu was not really all that sly, but when he wanted to get to know someone, he would attempt to do so. Seduction after all, was a strong point for him. Not that he did it to often.
OOC:*giggles* His response. Fantastic. He'll eventually find out Shizu's a male. But not anytime soon heh. Hopefully others follow into the dancing wink. I had a hard time picking the song. I'm like this one or save the last dance for me. Michael Buble is one of my guilty pleasures. (Sorry for all the quotes)

I've been waiting for a lifetime,
In the search for something real--
To turn up and save me,
From the empty and the loneliness inside...
Leon should have known better, but in his desperation, Marque's feigned consideration caught him off guard and for a moment--just a moment--Leon's eyes lit up with fragile hope, his face contorted, frozen in disbelief. All that plummeted with Marque's ensuing sentence, however.
...always a catch.... Knowing him, the cure was going to be worse than the curse. What was it going to be this time? Insulting the headmaster? Destroying some foe's cherished possession? Distrusting eyes warily heard him out, drifting over to the indicated desecration. ...easy enough. It was the second condition that really darkened his expression. To the untrained eye, his countenance was simply one of pensive reflection, but familiars could almost certainly see the agonizing dilemma churning behind that placid facade.
"What's this? A dance?" A peppy voice piped up beside them, bright violet eyes turning their way. "Really, Leon?! I would love too!" Petite hands clasped his. Xsio, he mentally cursed. Looking up, he was met with not one set of pleading eyes, but two. Shooting the insinuator a furtive glance, Leon began, "I--"
“Good evening. How is everyone tonight?”
Once again, "saved" by an interruption. He cordially turned toward the newcomer with a courteous dip of his head, "Miss Blanca, welcome." Giving her a grin for the joke, he teased, "Your evasion skills are remarkable! How ever did you escape Nona's keen recruiting nose...?" Before Leon could ask for tips, Nona tugged his arm toward the dance floor, pouting, "Lee--on.... We have some cleanup to do, remember?" >>>>"Nona--" Turning back to the martial arts teacher, he gave her an apologetic smile, oblivious to Nona's grim gaze in the same direction, "Please excuse me; I'm apparently also playing janitor--and escort--tonight." Bowing out of the impromptu gathering, Leon trailed the herbology teacher to the dance floor, where the statue's entrails left wide wet steaks leading to a mound of melting ice in the corner.
"Oh my! What a mess...." Nona's face was scrunched with worry. Disposing a single solid object wouldn't have been so bad, but now.... Now there was more surface area exposed to the air, which meant more melting, and, and, and.... "Leon, what should we do? Dancers might trip on the slick floor!" >>>> "Worry not, fair maiden...." Leon gave her an unamused, sidelong look. With an upturning of his palm, a ribbon of fire shaped very much like a dragon skimmed the watery trails, plumes of steam rising in its wake, leaving behind nothing but polished floor. Near the end of its flight, the fiery effigy circled the remaining mountain of ice, making a show of devouring it in a pillar of steam.
Dusting his hands off with a satisfied smile, Leon turned to go. "Problem solved. Guess my work here is done...!" Before he could so much as take a step, however, a hand came down on his shoulder, evoking a petrifying sense of dread. Its owner's voice was syrupy sweet, "Leon.... Aren't you forgetting something...?"Xsio.
Leon slowly pivoted to face her, pearly whites bared in a forced smile. For a moment, he could've sworn he heard Marque's vicious snickering echoing in the background. "Oh, yes. That. I totally forgot." He held out his left hand for her right with a flourish. "May I have this dance, mi'lady?" Whatever his true feelings, Leon's outwardly behavior was a slave to the gentleman in him.
When I dream at night,
I can see where I belong--
So I'll close my eyes, I'll follow my feet, In hopes that somehow they'll take me home...

tl;dr> Leon gets tricked into playing janitor (cleaning up the melting mess on the dance floor) and escort (for a dance with Nona). Whether that's better than his previous post, he's not so sure.
