Just as the two students stood there, one gathering his need of basil, the other admitted that she had never eaten meat. Kiyo looked at her with his mouth slightly open in shock that he had almost dropped a piece of the basil. He snapped back to what he was doing and quickly bent down to grab the leaf before shoving it in a plastic bag that he had been stuffing the basil into. He coughed to hide his embarrassment. "You've never eaten meat? But it's the best thing in the world especially when it's raw." He said, looking away from her as he gazed off into space remembering the days when he would kidnap the livestock from his neighbors to devour them later. The way that the juices would flow in his mouth as he chewed on the squishy meat. It was pure bliss and the best feeling one could get. He shook his head at her. "I feel sorry for you. If you ever want to know what Heaven tastes like, I'll make you something with meat in it." He offered to her as he got his fill. He pressed the clasps together on the bag and put it in his jacket pocket. He blinked a couple of times as his eyes illuminated while they settled on the girl. He had felt someone's gaze on the two but he didn't want to alarm his helper. When he had woken her up earlier it seemed like she was the type to freeze up when something scared her. That would be awkward for him. "Well, thanks for the basil." He said, not knowing what else to say to the girl. He straightened up when he had realized that he didn't ask her for her name. "I guess I should tell say that my name is Kiyo." He paused, waiting for her to say her name before lifting up his hand to say good-bye to her while he walked out of the greenhouse. Honestly, he didn't think that he would have to see the girl ever again. Now that he knew where she was stationed, the couch, he knew not to wander near there unless he absolutely needed something from her. Other than that, he was still pretty confident that he would be able to find whatever he was looking for on his own.
Dorm Room
After Kiyo had arrived to his dorm room, he pulled out the bags of basil, normal and Holy, onto his desk. He looked at the quanity and nodded to himself. He had all of the necessary ingredients needed to make the pasta now. He walked over to his wardrobe and opened it, pulling out a bowl and the pasta. He figured that he might as well start to prep the stuff so that he wouldn't have to take the extra time to wait for them to finish. He could almost taste the pasta right now and was beginning to feel himself get giddy. He did a girlish giggle under his breath but heard the sound and frowned. He wasn't the type to act like that so he needed to stop. It would've been terrible if someone had heard it. They probably wouldn't let him live it down especially since he was one of the best volleyball players on the team. He wanted for them to scream out his name not something embarrassing. He sighed and walked over to his mini-fridge/freezer combo and took out a plastic container of human fingers that he had been freezing. He set it out on the table and opened up its contents. He could faintly smell them but he could smell the ice over all of it. "I'll let you thaw..." He muttered before getting a knock on the door. He frowned but wiped his hand on a paper towel before walking over to the door and opened it, seeing one of the other non-popular fourth year telling him not to forget about the meet and greet event happening soon. He raised an eyebrow, tilting his head some as he was thrusted with a flier about the event. He completely forgot about it. Groaning, Kiyo walked back over to his fingers and shut the container before throwing it back in the freezer. He hated that he had to stop his cooking just so he could go and listen to some old geezers tell him what they were going to be doing. It was the same speech over and over again but he knew that it would be frowned upon if he didn't show up.
After putting up all of the evidence that Kiyo was going to cook he went to go and take a shower, getting ready for the event with a sour look on his face.
Ballroom
In his suit, Kiyo stood near the food table, awaiting his turn as more students suddenly realized that they were serving food at the event, too. He was frustrated that he couldn't cook something but he had to constantly remind him that at least he had everything that he needed. He already told himself that he was going to be making the basil pasta with human fingers the following day but it still made him a bit cranky. He bite down on the fork that he had in his mouth, feeling it bend to his teeth. He pulled the utensil out of his mouth and looked around to see if anybody had noticed him doing it and quietly tossed the utensil in the dirty bin. He quickly grabbed another fork and noticed one of the van Hise pureblood vampires grabbing the smallest pieces of certain foods onto his plate. If he had remembered correctly, the tiny van Hise was the deaf one who was in the gossip club. The guy had run a little rumor on Kiyo that he had an affair with the manager of the volleyball team. The guy acted like he didn't know what Kiyo was saying but he was sure that it was him. The guy was trouble but he was also one of the higher ups at the school so Kiyo waited until the guy moved further down the food table before walking over. "Why is he even in this section? The blood-stuff is more at the end. GAH. Those van Hises' make me angry." He thought to himself as he noticed the young van Hise finally recognized his section of food. Kiyo shook his head and proceeded to move forward, gathering food on his place. He made sure to grab the biggest pieces of anything meat related (too bad there weren't any human being served).
After filling his plate and grabbing a drink, Kiyo took his food and looked around at the available tables. Everybody just seemed to be standing around looking lost. There were a couple of people going towards the dance floor but all he wanted to do was eat, listen to the old people sing to the choir and go to bed or watch something online. He furrowed his eyebrows together when he noticed someone in the corner, looking down. He couldn't see it from where he was standing but as he started to walk closer to the corner he noticed a girl leaning over a book. He scoffed a bit before putting his food down at the table near her. He recognized the girl but didn't know her name and only knew that she was two levels below him.
"Watcha readin'?" He asked her as he pulled out the chair and planted himself in it, turning the legs of the chair over so he could see her. He grabbed a chicken wing off of his plate and held it out for her. Her, in her little dress, didn't seem the type that would want a chicken leg but he offered it anyway.

xxxxTomoka had been unable to keep her eyes open as she tried to continue to read. She figured no one would approach her, as she did not stand out very much anyway. I won’t really be asleep…just…catnap. She figured it would be okay if she rested. As long as she did not really fall asleep. Tomoka could feel herself start to lean over a bit, but luckily it just looked like she was intently reading. It was easy to block all the noise out, she often did it while reading anyway. Soon she could feel herself start to drift off. That is until a voice that was way too close for comfort spoke up.
Lifting her head, her ears and tail popped out due to being startled. The headband she had been wearing, pushed back a bit, though her dress covered her tail for the most part. A crimson hue quickly taking over her face. I-I w-wasn’t s-sleeping. E-er I-I mean.There goes my pretending to be mute…. Her voice had trailed off as she spoke, well stuttered. Tomoka was quite embarrassed at having someone actually approach her and not realize she had been basically asleep. She wanted to mentally face palm for her inability to act around people…particularly boys for that matter. This was an older one, nothing like Break. I can still imagine him as an animal…right? Or ignore him…no that wouldn’t be nice. Few words as possible! Lifting the book she was reading, it showed the title. About Bach…Music… It was then she saw that he was holding something out to her and she blinked. He was offering her food? The red hue on her face darkened slightly as she took it. A-are you s-sure? T-thanks…. She didn’t want to admit it, but she was hungry. Though she cared for animals, some animals had to be sacrificed for food. After all, they had to eat. It was part of the food chain. She then took a smile bite of the chicken leg and her face lit up some. It was yummy. Whoever did the food here did a good job. I wonder who this boy is…Though…why did he have to approach me.

Floki watched as his friend and sister greeted each other. While he was pretty annoying to see his sister, he was glad Alluna seemed happy she was here. They always got along great. When Alluna leaned over and commented on the fact that this school has many vampires, Floki clicked his teeth in disapproval. Father is a real b*****d sending me here. He could of warned me atleast." Floki then turned to his sister and listened to her explanation. He was livid by time she finished. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?" he yells, drawing the attention of some people nearby. "So you are telling me pretty much the whole family is going to be here? Devian said no one else was coming... Stupid liar. I swear the next time I see him..."
At this point, Floki was so angry he had to stop talking. If he wasn't so full from his meal earlier, there would of been a few missing student by the end of the night. Forget father's rules. If everyone wants to lie to me, then I'm just going to do whatever I want. Right now, what I want is to find that girl... He started to calm down when he thought of the mystery woman who fed him. He figured the fastest way to find her was to get Alluna to point her out. "Alluna? Do you see that girl from before? I need to find her." He gave his sister a pointed look saying, don't ask. Hopefully, she would mind her business for once.
Rhett nodded in acceptance of her thank you. He was surprised when Bella guessed what he was. It was slightly disappointing that he couldn't make a game out of guessing, but in the end it just made Bella more interesting to him. "Bravo on guessing correct. I am only half faerie though. God forbid if I was full blooded, I would be so tiny. I've read that making yourself human size is quite a hassle when you're that small. As for that shyness of yours, I think you're doing pretty well talking with me." he said with laughter in his voice. "You must tell me what faerie magic smells like. I would imagine it smells like sunshine."
He was going to continue but he noticed Bella concentrating on something. He looked towards the direction her eyes were pointed and saw a small tray of chocolate covered strawberries floating towards him. When it got close enough, Rhett grabbed the tray and smiled brightly at Bella. With a laugh he said,"Thank you! I've been eyeing those since I got here. I knew there was something special about you." Rhett picked up a strawberry and took a large bite. He moaned softly at the flavor and licked his lips when he finished. "These are to die for, you must try one!" He picked another up and held it out for Bella to take.

xxxxKegan had already gotten a couple of good shots of both the area and people in it. He had noticed a girl, who was most likely younger than he, starring in his direction. But he paid it no mind. He was not one to outright be mean to another, just for starring. After all, he was taking pictures here and there. He had gotten a shot of the dance floor, which it seemed people were finally starting to fill. He was lucky no one had approached him yet. Maybe they just thought he was staff or something. After all, there was bound to be a photographer for this event. He had heard there was a newspaper club and figured they might need some pictures if they planned to cover this event. If not, he would just choose the best ones and find the people in it, before using it for his portfolio.
As he peered in his camera, he noticed more students come in and he could not help be intrigued by the many different styles there were. He had not realized suits could come in different colors. He had only knew that there was a lot of clothes for women for this type of event. It seems I need to learn more on fashion...culture. Fashion after all, was another type of photography genre so it was a must to know about it.
Finally, he set his camera down from his face, and covered his eye again with both the eye-patch and hair. It was not like he had to do so. He was quite capable of seeing. Just in this eye, it was a different color and which he held some of his power. After all, he had to contain and control being in human form somehow. He then made his way to the door and stood near it, by the wall and away from the people crowding around it. He would stay a bit longer in case there was an important message, but he had finished what he came to do and was quite ready to leave. He didn't acknowledge anyone, just seemed to stare off into space. He figured if he left those around him alone, they would do the same. After waiting a bit and seeing no important information to be told, he decided to leave and start looking at the pictures he took.
Bella smiles softly at Rhett " I g-guess your ri-ight ," Bella cleared her throat before speaking again " I guess I'm getting comfortable around a charming fella",she smiled at Rhett when he explain what he was and she smiled when he said he was half faerie that was something they had in common " well I do believe we have something in common I'm half witch half human". Bella smiled when Rhett picked up a chocolate strawberry , and laughed softly at how happy he was eating it , then he offered her one and she kindly took it and carefully eating the yummy chocolate covered berry ,she licked her lips slightly making sure their was no chocolate on her lips " oh wow your so right these are amazing, I prefer white chocolate though", Bella said with a smile looking at Rhett.

Bella was starting to losen herself up , she was starting to get use to having Rhett around she usually wasn't that bad with her shyness , once someone talks to her she starts to bloom into the person she was really , but she never knew why she was so shy, she sighed to herself thats when she heard music start to play in the ballroom she watch some of the teachers and students dance a bit with one another , she smiled when she remember watching her mother and father dance under the moon light without music it was the most romantic things she ever seen. Bella looked over to Rhett "so um can I ask what grade you are in?, I'm in my third year in college I'm majoring in Music / singing...",she took sip of her drink once again almost forgetting she had it.
Matheo was moving as if he was in a daze. He still could not believe this woman wanted to dance with him. He was trying his best not to make a fool of himself as they walked to the dance floor. When the woman introduced herself, Matheo gave her another small smile and spoke his name. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss. Umiko, my name is Mathro Grimaldi. I am a teacher here as well. Have you just started working here? I do not believe i've had the honor of seeing you before." After that, Matheo decided to save himself from any further embarrassment and concentrate on dancing. His partner danced fluidly and with grace, Matheo had to say he was very impressed. He knew he was probably a bit rusty, but his royal training was ingrained in him so deep that it only takes a few moments for his body to start moving on muscle memory. The amount of dance lessons he took as a child seemed to have worked in the end.
As they danced, Matheo thoughts were a jumbled mess. She's so pretty. Don't step on her feet. I think i'm doing good. Don't say anything stupid.... When Shizu spoke of dancing the tango, Matheo had to calm his thoughts to remember if he knew how. Most of his memories were of the waltz, ballet and a dash of contemporary. "Ahh, you have found my weak point." He confessed, a smile playing on his lips. "I would not mind learning the tango, especially if you were my teacher." It took a moment for Matheo to realize his words might be a bit forward and he immediately grew embarrassed. The lightest of blush tinged his cheeks, which he tried his best to ignore.

Where am i? Ballroom What am i doing? Relaxing Who am i with? Ayumi. Mood? Calm, Nervous, Sad Wearing? Black suit with a white tie and fancy black shoe's.
"Thank you Ayumi." He thanked with a warm smile. He started playing with his ice power's a bit since it was getting a bit boring, Before ayumi asked about who he seen. "My ability before i got my powers was never being wrong, And i wish i knew who it was." As soon as he said that he immediately felt sad as if he lost someone, As he tried his best to hold in his tears before crying in his glass. He wiped the tears away from his face with his napkin. "I'd prefer to not talk about it." As he said all of that, He had the voice of Ayumi. He didn't look worried about anything even though his voice changed. "It's a power so don't worry about it."

Alluna's blue eyes widen surprise as she blushed on Lofnia's boyfriend comment. "Uhh,,,no and you know already that there is someone who already has my heart." Those words are something Floki's sister knew meaning of. Even though the one being talked about himself doesn't realize it. She flinched from his sudden outburst from Queen Of Spade's explanation of the whole family situation and sighed.
Gazing at him she nodded her head "Alright I'll see if she is around..."Which is going to be kind of hard considering the one whose blood he seems to be addicted to is standing right betide him. But that is something she will never tell him, unless they ever end up in a life threatening situation.
Lofnia only raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Well...there is another reason you know? Besides keeping you in check the other..is rather a serious one." She turned to look at Alluna and nodded her head for Floki. "This is something we must discuss in private with out our little songstress around." She led him to a corner where there is no one around and they can talk in peace.
Lofnia do regret having to leave Alluna behind but this was something meant to kept from her. With a low voice that was also enough for him to hear, she continue on with the conversation. "Father wants us investigate a hunter lurking around here. He said the hunter's next target is our precious siren here, Alluna.

Shizu, was trying his best to not out-right laugh at the man. The man’s reactions were just simply charming and adorable. Matheo Grimaldi…a nice sounding name. After Matheo decided to finish speaking, or at least paused, Shizu spoke up once again. His voice taking on a light flirtatious tone. Oh no~ Mr.Grimaldi. The pleasure is all mine~. I have indeed just started teaching here recently. I specialize in Performing Arts, though the class I will be teaching is All the World’s a Stage. Feel free to stop by sometime. I’ll put on a personal performance. Just…for…you~ Shizu paused after that as his eyes danced with mischief. He was having a bit of fun with the male’s reactions. What class will you be teaching, if I may ask? Shizu thought he had paused long enough, a little smile twitching at his lips. He figured if he was right, Matheo might be a bit on the shy side, or at least a bit reserved. He had a gentleman like air about him. Shizu could tell Matheo had to have had some sort of dancing skills from his past, as after a while he had gotten smoother and more fluid in motion.
As they continued to dance, Shizu searched the male for what he might be thinking. He’s just too fun. I’m glad I managed to choose wisely. It seems I have chosen quite the interesting one~ When the male smiled, saying shizu had found his weak point and how he would not mind learning if Shizu was his teacher. It all made Shizu smile a radiant smile while laughing a sweet charming laugh. What caused him to do this was Matheo’s words, plus the lightest of blush being tinged on his cheeks to be the cherry on top. Shizu couldn’t help it that this man was so unique. The reactions, not all really being one that he expected. Mr.Grimaldi~ I am so happy to hear such a handsome man agree yet again.~ Shizu could hear the song begin to get close to the end as they were still dancing. He hoped others would request more music, or that the song at least have brought more people to the dance floor. Mmm, I almost forgot to ask. How am I to get ahold of you for our little date~ If I am to teach you, I can’t interrupt your classes. It would have to be when you are free. Shizu’s voice was smooth as he spoke, oh he had planned this out quite well. He was sure the male most likely did not get asked out a lot, though he wouldn’t be surprised if he was. Shizu was rather bold, and was not one to hide his interest in someone. Though, he did play a sort of innocence. With a light blushing forming on his own cheeks he looked away slightly. T-that isn’t to bold is it? I just can’t help but want to get to know you. After all~ who doesn’t find a man of intelligence intriguing. Of course this little part, Shizu was acting. It was so easy to cause a blush to form. He was merly doing this so he would not scare the man off. For sometimes men did not like overly bold women, though shizu was not a woman at all. I suppose I’ll have to tell him my gender eventually~ let’s hope he isn’t straight. Would be a shame.

Still trying to figure Shizu's character haha. But I figured for mermaids/sirens they are a bit on the flirty side :p
Rhett smiled at Bella brightly, overjoyed to receive a compliment. "Why thank you very much. I'm glad you can be comfortable around me." When Bella told him she was half witch he was satisfied to know he was right, she was magical. He almost never guessed wrong. Rhett chuckled as he watch Bella enjoy her strawberry. "Oh? Your a white chocolate kind of girl huh? Well, i'm still glad you liked them. Personally, any chocolate is good to me. Except dark chocolate. That stuff just tastes weird." He finished off with a light laugh. Rhett drank the last few sips of his drink and set it on a table close to them both.
They stood in silence for a while and he noticed Bella watching the dancers. He wondered if she would like to dance. He decided not to ask her just yet, he was still feeling a little tired. Rhett was surprised when Bella told him her grade level. He was so sure he was older then the girl, but he guessed he can't always be right. "I'm a college freshman. I will be greeting my degree in acting & entertainment." he informed her. "Music and singing? You must have a beautiful voice. I would love to hear you sing sometime. In exchange i'll invite you to one of my performances." He said with a wink.
Floki raised an eyebrow at Alluna saying someone has her heart. He wondered what crappy guy she was into and if he would have to drain the guy dry for hurting her. He was happy to hear she would look for his mystery girl though. His mouth was watering just thinking about her. It's weird though... I feel like she's right here. I can smell her all around me. She blood must be really rare or something... The warning signs were all there, but he chose to ignore them.
Floki scoffed at Lofnia saying that the card siblings were all there to keep him in check. His interest was peaked when she said there was also another reason, as serious one too. He was reluctant to leave Alluna's side, but sent her an apologetic look as he followed his sister. When Lofina said the other reason, Flokis anger went to new heights. "Are you messing with me?" he whispered harshly. "What the hell does a hunter want with Alluna? Surely we don't need the whole family to deal with one person? I can protect her just fine by myself!" Floki crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. Tonight was just ending up to be a terrible night. Just one more thing... One more thing and i'm seriously going to lose it.
"Ah, Miss Blanca, a good evening to you as well." Marque greets the newest member of the quickly forming clique of staff warmly with a small bow.
To Delphi, Marque then offers his upturned hand, intending to greet her in the manner most customary to him, the same way he had with Miss Dupree, "You certainly have a way of jesting. Considering last year's fiasco with the curtains, were you perhaps insinuating that you intended not to attend this year's meet and greet?" Marque joked, "Your presence would have been missed awfully... Although, on that subject, your timing is quite spectacular, really. After all,you arrived just in time to miss bearing witness to situation similar to last year's... although I'm not so sure who an ice sculpture of yourself is supposed to have impressed.
As Leon and Nona took their leave, Marque also added in a whisper, "You're also fortunate enough to bear witness to Leon and Nona's first dance together." He chuckled lightly to himself.
With those two gone, Marque turned his full attention to the two remaining. At this time, he notices a few strands of hair had fallen in front of Delphi's face, perhaps a telltale sign of her rush to get here, and reaches out to her, "I do hope you'll forgive my rudeness, Miss Blanca," He says as he attempts to fix her hair, "But it simply won't do to have a face as beautiful as yours to be obstructed from view."
Marque smiles gently, turning back to Miss Dupree, "Miss Dupree, I thank you for your company and your role in my little shenanigans, but you've been here well before the rest of us. Why don't you and Miss Blanca go mingle and enjoy yourselves? I'll be fine greeting students here by myself." He says with a small bow of his head.

Bella had finished her drink she found sort of refreshing she too placed the glass on to the table near them , she finished her strawberry when she heard Rhett talking about not liking dark chocolate and she nodded agree with him " hehe I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that about dark chocolate, lot of people look at me weird when I say something bad about dark chocolate." Bella was watching the dancers but she was not in any rush to dance , she had notice Rhett look rather tired and she was okay just watching, she was just happy being here talking to someone and not suck in the corner all night..well she was still in the corner but with someone, she stayed silent for a while enjoying the atmosphere. Bella moved her red hair behind her ear and finally spoke talking about their grade and major.

Bella said kind of sadly thinking about her dad a little she shook the sadness away and smiled when Rhett wanted to hear her sing in exchange of see him perform , she giggled and nodded " well I am working on something once I'm done , you will be the first to hear it".

Bella wasn't sure how long she would stay at the Meet N Greet, she would like to return to her room soon and change into her comfy clothes and go walking before bed. Bella felt a small yawn escape her mouth she covered her mouth to hide it " I'm sorry that was rude of me I promise you , your not the cause of my yawn. I'm just kind of tired from a long day, you know from traveling and coming here for the start of the new semester, and unpacking my stuff ", even though she did use her telekinesis for some of the unpacking , but it was still a long day. " I can't help but notice you looked tired, do you wanna go check and see what they have for dinner?", once she said that she couldn't even remember the last time she ate anything today, she looked up at Rhett waiting for his response.
