History: Salt grew up in a very small household. It was her, her father, and her mother. Her mother was very loving mother and supportive of everything she did. Her father, however, was very strict. He pushed Salt to do her best in all instances. His ordering of her to be the best throughout her life worsened when Salt's mother died when she first got into Middle school. This caused Salt's father to be extremely hard on her, with no support from others. Salt's academic triumphs negatively impacted her social life, as it caused her to distance herself from others. After graduating high school, her father pushed her to become a doctor, sending her off to college so he wouldn't have to deal with her at home. During the years she was alone with her father, he managed to inflict a whole lifetime's worth of psychological damage onto Salt.
PERSONALITY. . .
Persona: Salt is a very shy girl who doesn't have very much to say. She comes off as very much a nerd, and isolates herself because of it. She pushes herself to hard to be the best at whatever she can be, leading to fatigue and over-exertion. Because of Salt's mental abuse from her father after her mother's death, she has very low self esteem. However, Salt very much takes after her mother. She may not think much of herself, but when it comes to others, the gentle girl would not hesitate to speak up and stand out for those she cares about. Salt is extremely open minded to people and their thoughts. She enjoys learning about cultures and experiences, but it takes a while for her to open up because she believes relationships to be very damaging. Salt hasn't maintained very many friendships throughout her life, leading her to be very hesitant and afraid of what she says and does around other people, often asking permission. She's clumsy, and want to keep trying new things. If anyone ever needs advice, she will always be the first one willing to extend a helping hand, even if it bites her in the end. Salt does much of what she does to see other people smile, even if it means they're happy for a single moment. She takes pride in some of her abilities, but even so, never truly thinks she's good enough or does enough. Salt often over-works herself to fatigue, and brushes her loneliness off without second thoughts, if it means it's better for someone else.
