■ LIGHTHEARTEDI'm always happy, laughing and carefree. So long as something isn’t gnawing on my mind. Like when my dad told me I shouldn’t have an imagination. That was before I was seven. Now he just doesn’t say much at all, at least not to that effect. Though sometimes actions speak louder than words, in this case they remind me how much he’s afraid of me. ■ CREATIVEMy mum says I have a real gift for coming up with stories and am very artistic. Although I’ve grown out of storytelling, I still like drawing and stuff. I mean it’s nothing too crazy but I’m actually not that bad with a pencil. ■ OBSERVANTI do know that I love figuring out puzzles and word searches or even the occasional crossword. I pay attention and can generally put things together to figure things out. Guess I'm your regular private eye. ■ LOYALI am a loyal friend to those who earn my loyalty and I like spending time with others. I talk quite a bit if I want to and I love to have fun. I tend to make friends easily. ■ STUBBORNI can also be downright stubborn and persistent about what I believe in. That's what I used to do when my father and I got into our arguments about magic when I was younger. ■ EMOTIONAL I've been said to be emotionally sporadic. I can go from one extreme to the other without much thought. I can have a pretty bad temper sometimes, so mum taught me to close my eyes and count to ten. I’ve learned to control how I’m feeling and I don’t have to count to ten anymore, though sometimes I still do. Though I’ll admit I’m still prone to an outburst or two every now and again.

CHILDHOODI was born with a mummy and daddy that loved me and I hope still do. Ever since my mum read me stories about mythical creatures and magical things when I was young it always nagged on my mind. What if magic was really real? I believed it was. My dad on the other hand believed I was being naïve and childish. Funny a child being childish… My mum tried to get him to lighten up on me but he kept telling me magic wasn't real. We always got into fights about it which I usually just ended up run away.
When I turned seven my dad and I got into another one of our fight again about my ‘childish’ beliefs. Only this time I started arguing back at him and when I let all of my feelings out my dad’s jacket caught fire. I didn't know where it came from but my mum rushed over to calm me down. Once I became calm the fire disappeared. My dad hasn’t spoken to me since that happened saying I was a witch. I don’t know why he began to believe in magic but now I’m wishing I hadn't of listened to him.
After that my mum took me to stay at my Uncle Landon's. It was my first time meeting him but he turned out to be a pretty cool guy. He was just like me and told me everything about magic and Hogwarts. He told me he works there as a professor of flying. I'm really looking forward to flying and quidditch. It sounds like so much fun. I could go on but I'd just be rambling for hours. Hogwarts is going to be great and I just can't wait!
SCHOOL YEARS
Somewhere you'll fit in huh? A loyal friend like you? I think you'll have no trouble fitting in here! Hufflepuff!
My trip to Hogwarts my first year wasn’t the greatest after running into Kyson and then meeting Tessa. However the sorting hat was right to sort me into Hufflepuff. Things turned around for me then. I made a lot of friends and even became best friends with Hannah. I also got to see Kai again as we were sorted into the same house. I enjoyed my classes and even tried out of the Quidditch team as Chaser. I ended up making reserve my first year along with my friend Hannah. It wasn’t until my fifth year that I got on the starting lineup for the team. It sucked but at the same time I didn’t mind the wait.
During my first year my father found out my mum was in contact with me still. So when summer rolled around he wanted to see me. I personally didn’t want to but my uncle told me to hear him out. So I did… he wanted to fix things between us but I didn’t think that was possible. I wasn’t about to hold my breath or anything. Anyways he wanted me to stay at the apartment for a few weeks during the summer. I didn’t want to but I guess I was bribed into with art supplies and a new broom for school.
On the day I was supposed to go back to school, my father was going to see me off along with my mother. Needless to say he never came. I shouldn’t have been surprised. So I spent the train ride talking to Anna-Maria about it. She seemed to understand and she even told me about her parents and how she lives with her uncle too. So during my second year I joined the music club meeting even more people. That was the year Rhys was losing point for Ravenclaw left right and center. I felt bad for Ravenclaw.
It was also the year of the masquerade ball where I started to realize I had a thing for other girls. I even started crushing on Clementine. I was so afraid to tell her how I feel because I didn’t want to ruin what we had as friends. Never mind what my father might think. It wasn’t until third year that I finally told her. She wasn’t sure about her feelings so we tried going on a date.
Fourth year rolled around and I found myself gaining a new friend in Cordelia. She’s a Hufflepuff a year older then Hannah and I. I went to Hogsmeade with her to do a little shopping before the end of the year. It helped strength out friendship. Coming into my fifth year I spend the whole summer studying for my OWLs. Cordelia told me about them and I wanted to be prepared. Despite trying to avoid my parents with the need to study, I couldn’t get out of going to their place. Course, that resulted in my parents and me talking about school and Quidditch which my father didn’t understand. He dug at everything I said which only made it worse. I luckily managed to get away from it a bit by hang out with Anna-Maria at Diagon Alley.
Fifth year hit and I had cut my hair off and changed my wardrobe to a kind of gothic punk vibe. I had a lot to worry about with OWLs, Quidditch, and on top of that I had to talk with Minnie. She had yet to tell me if she felt the same and at this point I just wanted an answer. Unfortunately it turned out she didn't feel the same way I did. I couldn’t help but feel hurt by the rejection. We're still friends though and we're probably better off that way. During the summer between fifth and sixth year my father and I worked things out. We had a heart to heart. It was a start.
Sixth year I had dropped a couple classes, what with failing one class (astronomy) and failing to meet the requirement for another (transfigurations). Plus I didn’t really want to continue History. My luck started going up from the summer as at the beginning of the year I met Alethea a fourth year Slytherin. I found I liked her and well… I asked her out and she said yes. We even had our first kiss!
Seventh year had me worried about the future. While I did join the art club I did have my NEWTs to worry about. Luckily I managed to get through them with high scores. On top of that I play some really good games in Quidditch despite only winning on game. I should be scouted for a few Quidditch teams. In my seven years at Hogwarts we won the House and Quidditch Cups twice, can’t complain about that. In my seven years at Hogwarts we won the House and Quidditch Cups twice. I ended up dating twice... found love with one of them. I made great friends and had fun even with the ups and downs. I can’t complain and can't wait for what comes next.

Emma's history throughout Hogwarts
Year 1:
It was my first year at Hogwarts. While my trip wasn't so great running into a boy named Kyson, and meeting a girl named Contessa, once I got there it was great. First I was sorted into Hufflepuff. Second I made lots of new friends; Hannah, Minnie, Pippa, Annabelle, Zeph, and Leo. I also got to see Kai again who was also sorted in Hufflepuff. Once classes started I met Minnie's sister Michelyn as well as two a few Gryffindors; Marine, Anna and Gideon. Classes were just like I imaged and everything.
I tried out for the Quidditch team as Chaser and that's where I met Layton. I made reserve along with Hannah. We may not have won the cup but it was a great year. Of course now I have to deal with my father this summer. He wants to see me but I don't know how it's going to go. At least I have advanced flying to look forward to next year.
Year 2:
During the summer I had to talk with my father. He wanted to fix things between me and him. I wasn't about to hold my breath or anything... He wanted me to stay at the apartment which I didn't want to do. I settled for a few weeks during the summer and the rest of the time I was at my uncle's. On the bright side Uncle Landon got me my own broom for school. I even saw Gideon and Hannah from school.
One the day I was supposed to go back, my father was going to see me off along with my mother. Needless to say he never came which led me to be annoyed. Why did he even bother trying if he wasn't going to actually try. Regardless I ended up with Anna-Marie on the train and we talked about things. Her parents were killed before she came to Hogwarts so she lives with her Uncle. I told her about my dad which she seemed to understand what was going on with me. Although our situations aren't similar I didn't mind telling someone about my problems.
Once at school I noticed Rhys wasn't acting like his usual quiet self. He seemed to pick fights and Ravenclaw lost a lot of points because of that. I really felt bad for them.
I met Dante Bianchi in one of our Herbology classes. I suppose for someone who doesn't like plants he's an alright guy. At least I saved him from the wrath of Professor Hill. I once again tried out for the Quidditch team and joined the music club. Met Avian Lovette there. Aside from that there was the masquerade ball which only made me overwhelmed. I started to realize I'm more aware of other females and that ball made that more apparent. I get butterflies and I feel warm all of a sudden.
Is it normal for girls to like other girls?
I've started staring at Clementine and I'm afraid to tell her how I feel. We're friends and I don't want to ruin that. What if she doesn't feel the same? Then there's my father... He doesn't like I'm a witch what if this becomes a problem too. I don't know what to do...
Year 3:
I was having a tough time over the summer about whether Clem would feel the same way I did. After talking to Hannah, I finally brought myself to tell Clementine. She wasn't sure about how she felt but that's better then her not caring about me right? We tried going on a date and I... think it went well. Still to soon to tell I think but we'll see. Besides Clementine and me, Hufflepuff won the cup and I joined the music club again this year. Hopefully next year will be a bit less stressful.
Year 4:
The year started off with riding up to the school with Hannah and Cordelia. Cordelia is a Hufflepuff who's a year older then Hannah and I. It was Hufflepuff's year to win the Quidditch cup. Hannah was going to be Beater and I was going to be Chaser. Sadly only one of those things happened. Hannah did make the team as Beater, I however was reserve Chaser and we didn't win the cup. It was a bad year for us, which sucked for Rider and Lyall who were graduating. Aside from how awful Quidditch season was I went to Hogsmeade with Cordelia. Cora and I decided to do some shopping before the end of the year and it helped strength our growing friendship.
With next year being OWL year I hope that I can use my studies as an excused not to visit my parents over the summer. Can I get that lucky?
Year 5:
The summer started off with me trying to avoid my parents. However, I couldn't get out of it and was forced to go. I was forced to go out with them which resulted in talking about school and Quidditch, something my father didn't understand. Though he mostly dug at everything I said. I'm pretty sure he only saw the bad in everything. I did manage to get away to Diagon Alley to hang with Anna.
Coming back to school I had a new hair cut and a new wardrobe, I had my share of problems. I had OWLs to worry about, the Quidditch team, and Minnie. I finally made the starting line as chaser which was the highlight of my year. With Minnie on the other hand, it turns out she didn't feel the same way I did. I've come to terms with it I guess. We're still friends and even though we're better off that way I can't help but still be hurt by the rejection. Now I'm just hoping my OWLs grades come back as expected.
Year 6:
Well I failed one class (astronomy) and failed to meet the requirement for another (transfigurations). Other then that my grads were great. I'll be continuing everything I passed aside from history. Over the summer my father and I worked things out. We had a heart to heart and I think we're going to be better... It's a start. A better one then we started out with I'd say.
The year started off with me meeting a fourth year Slytherin. Alethea, she's friends with Kiki and well I think I like her. I asked her out and she said yes. Throughout the year Alethea and I got closer, things became less awkward, and... we kissed. I had my first kiss and it gave me butterflies. The good kind. I think things are really starting to work out for me.
Year 7:
My final year... as worried as I was about graduation I think everything will be okay. Though Quidditch was a bit rough, I had a pretty good year playing chaser. Hopefully next year the can win more then just one game. It's too bad that I won't be here for it. Luckily I should be scouted for a few teams. Aside Quidditch I helped a first named Gertie get to her Transfigurations class. That same girl was in the art club, which I decided to join along with the music club. A second year named Dris runs it, he's a good kid. With my final year drawing to a close I can't say for sure what will happen next.
