Hi, my name is Lionel Santiago Lira

But I mostly go by Leo or Santi

I'm a male

I'm 17 years old.

My birthday is October 20th.

My dream job is to be something in which I can make my mark on the world. Like a cop or something. Or an international super spy.

My blood status is Muggleborn

This is my seventh year here at Hogwarts.

The house I'm in is Hufflepuff

I'm interested in girls

I'm currently with no one

People say that, in a nutshell, I'm extremely friendly and open to just about everyone. I don't really judge anyone by face value...well, a lot. I feel like everyone judges to some degree, just I judge to a significantly less degree than the next person. So, yeah, if one wanted to talk to me for whatever reason, I'm just about cool with anyone coming up to me and saying 'hi'. Plus, I'm extremely talkative and naturally like to talk. I'm always curious; so this leads to me asking questions a great deal. I'm one of those people that usually think by talking, in terms of class of course, and never think too deep into things. That being said, I always participate in class, but sometimes I may make a fool of myself while doing it. But in reality, I just know that I am benefiting the class by doing so; because others who may have the same question as I do, but are just too introverted to talk about it, won't get the chance. I know I'm not always the brightest kid in the world, but hey, it's okay. Not everyone is known for their intelligence.

This just leads me to my confidence levels, which are pretty high. I have the ability to look someone in the eye who may be insulting me and be able to sit there and take it, as if nothing was said. I'm not huge on confrontation, but I mean, if the other person deserves it though, I will be the first one to speak up and let that person know they are being completely close-minded and just unreasonable.

I like to be leader in most situations...you know, the guy that may not necessarily think about the idea, but the one who takes everyone's opinion into it and makes the final decision. Yeah, I like to be that guy, and most of my life, I've always been that guy. However, this may lead to a little bit of authoritarian issues, which don't really show up with teachers, but other students, yes. If I see something as right...I see it as right and that's a fact. I'm very decisive on that and sometimes I am wrong, but I would never let someone know that I was wrong, even when there is no doubt in my mind that I was.

Lastly, I'm very loyal to my friends and I tend to keep in contact with them. I like having friends. I think it is vital in growing up to be a successful human-being, in the workplace and off. I'd rather not live a lonely life of course, despite the belief that sometimes people are more successful when they are introverted. I don't necessarily believe that.

My background story is I come from a very ethnically diverse family. I am one-half Argentinian, one-fourth Uruguayan and one-fourth English. But before I get to my life, I should explain just how a family from Uruguay even had the chance to come over to England. Okay, my grandfather on my father's side owned an IT company in Uruguay, which had grown to be pretty successful and generate quite a bit of money. Not a huge amount of it, but enough to be a part of the Uruguayan upper-middle class. So, like most businesses, my grandfather looked to expand his company over the time that he has owned it, but his company was bought out by a rival company offshore in England. Because of the dealings my grandfather had with American companies, who sought him because of the lower-than-international wages that he offered, the man spoke English and when he was bought out, had paid a visit to England to go through negotiations with the offshore empire CEO that was performing the classic Hostile-takeover. Through some negotiation, the man was able to get a measly (1/64) of the profits from the empire's expanded branches of his original company, which was still a good amount, because the one company had turned into a pretty big Uruguayan branch.

However, the man was impressed by the English Economy however, and sought to stay in England because he had a better liking of the place than Uruguay. He wasn't too old at the time and didn't have much of a family other than his old nuclear family; so he did it, moving to Liverpool and starting a IT business, which was a very good one, but it didn't generate nearly as much of the profits, causing him to just be of the middle-class. In Liverpool, he met a woman named Sarah and they bore my father four years later. And that's how my family came to move to England.

Okay, now onto my father, because my mother's family is full Argentinian and are from there. Okay, so my father met my mother through a foreign program where she had to study abroad for college in England. She actually was assigned to stay at my father's house, because it was a Spanish and English speaking home (this of course because my grandfather had volunteered with the colleges in Uruguay who participated in this foreign Program). The girl(my mom) knew a little English, but spoke mostly Spanish. My father was fluent in both Spanish and English because of the way his parents raised him. So, as my grandfather had seen the girl, he had instructed my father to help her learn more English. Turns out, that was all that was needed for the two to actually end up together. The in between were minute details, but they kept in contact when she went back. Over the time, she occasionally visited, flying by airplane of course. It was an expensive trip, but my Argentinian side loved the fact that she might move to England, because the Argentinian economy had gone into a crisis and she would live much better in England. Three or four years later they married in Liverpool and that's where I was born. My father had graduated with honors from Oxford and had taken over my grand father's IT company and turned it into a very good one. It still hasn't generated as much as my grandfather's old one, but it generates enough.

Now leads on to me. I, as aforementioned, was born in Liverpool, England to my father Pepe Lira and my mother Maria Dos Santos-Lira. They of course named me Lionel after my grandfather Leon. I went to 'muggle' school growing up and did okay in it, when all of a sudden random occurrences started happening to me. Items around me started moving all over. I didn't know what to do quite frankly. My parents took me out of school one day, getting me out early when I was ten...and there it was...a man sitting in a chair...supposedly completely full of the answers in which I was looking for. I was a wizard? At the time, it was completely foreign and I didn't know what to do. My parents had some look of 'what the h*** is happening' written all over their faces. But the man explained what I was, what I could do, what the school was all about...etc. My mom was shocked, but she...as well as my father, came to appreciate it, and saw it as a blessing of God of some sorts. To allow me to do things that others can't. I just saw it as awesome of course, because come on, I'm eleven. The thought that I could burn something by waving a wand sounds really appealing to me.

And that's how my wizard journey started...and now I look forward to a long life with powers. Of course, I have to learn how to use them, which I know is going to be hard.

I enjoy Football, Family Stories, Liverpool FC, hiking, and drawing

I despise racism, 'Muggle' History(Just really boring), Swamps (mainly because the one time we went to one in Argentina to sight see, I almost got attacked by an alligator), snakes, and bees

I'm afraid of Alligators, needless to say.

My strengths are my athletic ability and my leadership, maybe.

My flaws are my hatred for learning about history passed one-hundred years and my authoritarian complex that I seem to have.

I look like

11-15 Xolo Maridueña
16+ Diego Luna

My wand is a 13 inch, Holly, with Phoenix feather core

My pet is a Black Owl named Skippy

Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! Because my parents kept Spanish in the household and left the English learning to schools...I am fully fluent in both languages, but Spanish is also my first language because of this.
