- ■ OBSESSIVE Kyson gets very involved in things he likes. For example, when he trains for his sports, he focuses so much on them that he tends to block out his family. He could use this trait to focus on his schoolwork, but it bores him.
■ DISTRUSTING Kyson isn't the best at making friends, mostly because he doesn't trust anyone other than himself. He even has trouble trusting his own family sometimes. If he allowed someone to get that close to him, he would still have some trust issues with them, believing that they'll stab him in the back eventually.
■ CALCULATING Kyson was always a quick thinker. He can assess most situations in a matter of seconds and react accordingly. He has always been a very smart boy, but he doesn't have the motivation to keep up his grades in school.
■ INDEPENDENT Kyson would rather be alone than with other people, even his family. He accomplishes most task on his own, without the assistance of others. Larger crowds make him uncomfortable, but he can handle himself in a smaller one.

- CHILDHOOD Kyson grew up living the rich kid life. He usually got what he wanted, which wasn't much compared to his older sister, and almost always got his way. He played football growing up, not on a team or anything, just by himself in the yard. He was always very good at sports, and was quite active even as a toddler. Around the age of eight, Kyson became a very moody child. This was most likely due to the fact that his sister had received her Hogwarts letter and was headed off to school, with most of his parents' attention focused on her. After he received his own letter, Kyson remained the sour little boy he had become, for reasons unknown even to him.
SCHOOL YEARS
- FIRST YEAR Kyson's first year at Hogwarts wasn't very enlightening. He was sorted into Slytherin, just as he had predicted, and made very few "friends." He met Gideon, a muggleborn cripple in Gryffindor, from his mom's work as a Governess. Contessa was in the same boat as him, and in the same house after sorting. Pippa is a Hufflepuff and Kyson actually gets along with her, surprisingly. Kyson tried out for his house Quidditch team and made it as a Reserve Chaser. He is convinced that next year, he'll make the starting team.
SECOND YEAR Kyson's second year at Hogwarts was fairly rewarding. He made the starting team at Quidditch Tryouts this year, but so did Gideon. He couldn't believe that the Captain even let a cripple like him play at all! It didn't matter though, because Slytherin easily won the Quidditch cup and the House cup along with it. If there was ever a moment in which Kyson puffed out his chest and sat up with pride, it was the moment the Headmaster announced his house as the winners. In other news, the school hosted a Valentine's Day Masquerade Ball. I went, mostly because there was nothing better to do, and had an unfortunate encounter with Tessa. Thankfully, no blood was shed and I managed to get away safely.
THIRD YEAR Third Year wasn't a good one for Kyson. Firstly, Tessa found as many chances as she could to insult him, even when he attempted to be civil towards her. She was ridiculous, and a complete airhead. Secondly, his team was filled with a new line of players, since they lost several after graduation, leaving him on a team of newbies and veterans who seemed to not want to show up to the games at all. Worthless, the lot of them. In most games, Kyson was left alone to keep the Quaffle away from the other team, resulting in a horrible season for the Slytherin team. In the end, they came in third place, just barely ahead of Gryffindor, with Hufflepuff taking the cup. Kyson vowed to never let the cup slip away from Slytherin's grasp again, and promised himself that he would work even harder next year to make up for the incompetence of his teammates.
FOURTH YEAR Kyson's fourth year was rather uneventful for the most part. School was boring, the Quidditch season was horrible for his team, and Gid and Rhys were being all dramatic. Over Christmas break, Kyson's grandparents visited for dinner, during which they told him that he had to work harder to impress them for the heirship, even though he was already promised the title and fortune. They also told Skylar she was useless unless she became a prodigy in something, and told Tori that she basically didn't exist as far as they were concerned. He wasn't fond of his sisters, but even he knew that was pushing it a bit too far. Still, Kyson vowed to strive for perfect grades on his OWLs and to be named Prefect the next year. He couldn't think of anything else to do that would keep his grandparents happy.
FIFTH YEAR Kyson spent most of his fifth year at Hogwarts studying for his OWLs, practicing for Quidditch games and pondering his feelings for Contessa Linwood. He felt like he did very well on his OWLs, save the Herbology one where he walked out of the practical because he refused to touch a Bubotuber. The Slytherin team had a flawless season, taking home the Quidditch cup and the House cup at the end of the year. As for Tessa, Kyson actually took her out on a not-date to The Three Broomsticks as a study break. It went well enough, seeing as they were both still alive.
SIXTH YEAR Kyson spent his sixth year doing what he usually did, which was practice for Quidditch, study when he had the time, and keep up with his Prefect duties. He didn't make much time for anything else that year, which was fine with him.
SEVENTH YEAR What a year. After six years of hating each other, Contessa and Kyson finally made something of their relationship. Well, they made out in closets late at night when he was supposed to be patrolling, so it was kind of a relationship. Other than that, Kyson focused on Quidditch and his NEWT exams, which he ended up doing pretty well on. He passed them all, at least, and half of them were with at least an EE. His grandparents would probably have something sour to say about it, but Kyson was beginning to not care about them or their opinions.
