 Name: Claudia Jensen
Nicknames: CJ
Age: 18
Height: 5'3"
Birthday: February 23rd, 1994
Sign: Pisces
Blood Type: A-
Fav. Food: In reality it's take-out Chinese food, but she tells everyone her favourite food is Grilled Salmon because it's more dignified.
Hated Food: None, CJ will eat anything, she’s like a garbage disposal
School: ----
Hobbies: Harvest Moon – CJ isn’t much of a gamer, but she loves Harvest Moon. She loves taking care of the Cows and Sheep, and getting married. She owns nearly every version of Harvest Moon that’s out, and routinely carries her DS in her purse so she can play the DS and GBA versions on the fly. CJ also collects Harvest Moon accessories, she has earrings, stickers, even stationary. Some of the things she’s had to make herself, but a lot of it she’s gotten off eBay.
Drawing – Claudia loves to draw, and can usually be found doing so when she’s not playing Harvest Moon. She’s not on a professional level, but she likes her stuff and she enjoys taking art classes in school to improve. Her style is a kind of cutesy realistic.
Volunteering at the Animal Shelter – Claudia loves to volunteer at the animal shelter, not being allowed pets at Crystal she gets her animal fix by volunteering. She’d sleep at the shelter if she could, but as it is she just spends much of her free time there; which she has a lot of since she doesn’t have all that many friends.
Shoe Shopping – CJ’s guilty pleasure, she loves shoes. Heels, flats, boots, sandals, she loves them all. Her closet is packed with a ridiculous amount of shoes, and she can walk in heels like it’s nobody’s business. The only shoes she stays away from are the four to five inch heels, thinking they’d give off the wrong message.
Gemstone: Amethyst
Gift: CJ has a gift with animals, she seems to understand them and their body language much more than other people. If an animal’s hurt she can usually figure out what it needs to recover. Domestic animals seem to like her, even grumpy ones will warm up to her eventually. She's able to train animals more easily than most people, and animals she trains seem to learn more quickly.
Her gift also carries over to youma, making her sort of a 'youma tamer'. They listen to her more easily than others, and she can summon them more easily as well. She can hold conversations with the more sentient ones. They also seem less apt to attack her, in civilian or Nega form.
Virtues: Oh! You’re such a cute banana slug! – CJ loves all animals, and she loves anyone who loves animals. While she’s not gung ho enough to consider herself an animal activist (she’s too classy to be seen waving a sign at a rally), she does greatly care for the welfare of animals. She spends much of her time at the local shelter volunteering. If she sees a stray or injured animal she’ll take it home or to the shelter to try and take care of it. It doesn’t matter how weird, outlandish, or disgusting an animal is CJ will still love it to death.
I just volunteered 8 hours at the shelter, WHAT NEXT? – Claudia’s full of energy, but it’s usually kept inside. She doesn’t like to seem out of control, or too unreserved. She thinks of herself as classy, and wouldn’t want people to think her otherwise. She’s always ready to go do something, whether it’s playing a game or volunteering more hours at the shelter. If she finds herself with free time on her hands (which is rare) she’ll search for something else to do instead of just relaxing.
What do you want to do? – You want to go the movies? Sure! Oh wait, you wanna go to the park instead? Alright! CJ is very flexible with her plans. She’ll do whatever the majority wants to do. She’s also very non-confrontational so she’ll concede to whoever has the strongest opinion. Claudia also isn’t very picky in what she will do, as long as it’s not hurting animals or has to do with anything sexual she’ll play along and she’ll play along to the best of her ability, because she wants people to like her, and no one likes a quitter.
Could I please take your starseed? Thank you! – CJ is truly kind, she tries to be nice to everyone, even those who don’t like her. She’ll go out of her way to help people, sticking around until she’s sure she’s done everything she can. Just because she’s kind doesn’t mean she always does the right thing. She’ll let herself get talked into just about anything short of kicking puppies. She’ll kick humans, but not puppies, and even then she’ll go about it in the nicest way possible.
Flaws: Look, I got an A+! – Claudia has an intense need to impress the superiors in her life, at the moment that consists of parents and teachers. She seeks out approval any way she can, doing whatever it takes to be noticed. Anything she does she does to the best of her ability, going above and beyond to try and get that gold star, or pat on the head. At home this doesn’t work simply because neither of her parents are ever around to realize she’s working her butt off. At least at school she has nearly perfect grades to show for it. Her need for approval can get her in trouble though, she has no qualms doing horrible things if it will impress a superior.
Just write ‘Welcome’ across my head, I’m a door mat – The bad thing about being flexible is that people tend to take advantage. CJ doesn’t have any kind of spine, allowing people to walk all over her. She has horrible difficulty saying no to anyone, especially if they say please. The only things that she will stand up for are animals. If someone’s hurting a defenseless animal she’ll step in no matter if the offenders are bigger than her. Also, she can temporarily gain some kind of spine if she has a very good reason, such as following orders given to her. Not much of a spine, but hopefully enough to finish what she started.
I need an adult D: – Claudia is a complete prude. She doesn’t curse, do drugs, make sexual jokes, or suggestions, and she tries to stay away from people who do. Although, that doesn’t always work. Oh, and she's never seen an R rated movie either, and didn't start watching PG-13 movies until she was actually 13. CJ doesn’t even flirt, unless she really really likes someone, and then when she does it’s not very sexy flirting. It’s more awkward stammering and blushing. She’s never even been kissed, never getting close enough to anyone for kissing to even become a factor.
I don’t know what you’re talki- oh alright, I do – CJ’s great at keeping secrets- until you ask her about it. While she’ll never purposely tell anyone a secret she’s a horrible liar, even with the most important things. She tends to trip over her words and then proceed to shove her foot in her mouth. Even though she can’t lie for beans she will try! As long as it involves keeping someone else's secret. Other than that she doesn’t even attempt to lie, not even to save her own skin. Mostly because she knows even a blind man will see right through her. The only thing she can manage to lie convincingly about is being Negaverse, because she knows if she lets that slip she can't avenge all the injured animals, and that would kill her on the inside.

 Family:
Jillian Jensen (37) – Mother, maiden name was Barruxix (pronounced Barr-U-kees), of Greek descent. She’s a lawyer who doesn’t have much time for her daughter Luke Jensen (40) – Father, he’s a general surgeon who barely notices his daughter when he sees her which isn’t very often. Margaret Jensen (65) – Grandmother on her father's side, Margaret took care of CJ for most of her life while her parents focused on their careers, and going to fancy parties. Coby (10) – Family pet, Coby’s a fat tabby cat who seems to only like CJ
Home: Currently Zanazziite resides in the Rift, spending most her time in the castle there.
A ridiculously large mansion Both of CJ’s parents came from old money, actually shoved together in a sort of modern betrothal. Because of that CJ is ridiculously spoiled (at least when it comes to material possessions), though she would honestly trade in the giant house, and all of her stuff (except her shoes) for a more normal life where she saw her parents more than once a week. Luckily her Grandmother lives with them which helps with the loneliness. Not to mention the hoard of maids and hired help. During the school year CJ boards at Crystal Academy.
Job: Haha, CJ doesn’t work, she doesn’t need to, her parents send a healthy allowance to her bank account every week, not to mention the credit cards she shares with them. In spite of that she does want to be a Veterinarian when she grows up.

 08.01.11 - Dying (524 words)
Grandma was dying. It wasn't a surprise when the doctor told her such, Claudia had been home from school just over a month and she'd been able to tell the day she arrived. Her Grandma was no longer the vibrant, loving older woman she used to be. She had become a shell of herself, her sickness sapping away her energy and will to do anything but keep breathing. Now they weren't even sure how long she was going to be able to do that.
When she first figured it out Claudia had spent the night crying and hating herself. She had been spending so much time as Zanazziite, it seemed like she was only ever Claudia when she was in school. Maybe if she had visited home on the weekends she could have spotted it earlier. Maybe she could have changed things. But deep down inside she knew it wasn't her fault, it really wouldn't have mattered if she had constantly been there as Claudia, her Grandma would have still gotten sick.
In an effort to make up for their last time the bluenette had been spending almost all her time since school let out with the ailing woman. She only left at night to do her duty for the Negaverse, and then she was right back at her Grandmother's bedside in the morning. She had refused to take visitors, not wanting to see anyone. It would be too hard. She hadn't even seen Gently since they had all ventured into the Rift.
That trip had left its mark on the seventeen year old. She still had several stitches in her left arm and her father had warned her it was going to scar. Maybe if she had come in immediately after the dog bit her they could have saved her the marks, but as it were there was only so much he could do. The girl hadn't corrected her father that it wasn't a dog that bit her, she hadn't even said what happened. She didn't want to explain or lie, and she was horrid at lying anyways. Instead she had just shown the general surgeon her arm and he had given her that disapproving stare that she hated so before he got the first aid kit.
That had been weeks ago and the stitches were beginning to fade, but the words and the harsh tone Tanzanite had spoken to her in had not. She had learned an important lesson that day- she needed to grow up. That one night had aged her years as the realization of what the Negaverse was, what exactly they were fighting for, and what would happen if they lost sunk in. Whatever ambitions she had when she first joined the faction were forgotten, more serious matters at hand. Ever since the prom night when Tanzanite had allowed her to assist in corrupting Justin Bieber Claudia had felt parts of her flaking away. It had all come to a head that night in the Rift. Claudia Jensen was a whisper of a girl, and Zanazziite was taking her place.
Her Grandmother wasn't the only one who was dying.

 08.02.11 - New Friend (899 words)
She needed to get out of the house. Claudia had spent the last two months or so at her dying Grandmother's bedside and while she hated to leave the only family member that seemed to really love her she couldn't stay and continue to watch her die. At least not without a reprieve.
The bluenette pushed herself up from her chair, pausing to lean over her Grandma and kiss her forehead. ”I'll be back, Grammy. Don't worry.” She wasn't even sure if the older woman could hear her, but she still like to let her know when she was leaving.
Exiting the room she was silent as she traveled the halls of the house, her heels echoing on the hardwood floors. She hated this house. It was too big and drafty, and empty of emotion, much like her parents. Or at least that's how they seemed to her. She had used to strive for their attention and approval convinced that if she was the perfect daughter they'd love her more, but it never worked. She had slowly learned that her parents were too involved with themselves to properly raise their daughter. The realization would have been a much more damaging one if she didn't have the Negaverse to fall back on.
The Negaverse. That's what she was escaping to now. Claudia left the house not taking her keys or a purse. Where once she would have headed straight for the animal shelter now she exited her family's estate and found a shadowed spot to become Lieutenant Zanazziite. It wasn't that she didn't care about the animals at the shelter anymore, no she cared for them dearly. But she knew what she was doing for the Negaverse would help more than just going to the shelter. It didn't help that she found herself missing the youma that roamed the subspace.
For a while Zanazziite just roamed the city, searching for Nega energy signatures. It was a hindrance really that she couldn't get to the subspace on her own. She knew she could call Painite, her captain had never said no to helping her before, but if she saw Painite she'd be tempted to talk about what was going on with her Grandma and if she did that she would most likely break down, and that was definitely something she didn't want to do. So, instead she searched until she brushed a signature similar to her own, but stronger.
It took her a bit to track the Captain down but finally she found him. She wasn't sure of his name, but when she approached and asked for a ride into the subspace he obliged her. Luckily for her he had just been planning on wrapping up his patrol as it were.
Once inside the subspace she thanked the Captain and then began to roam the halls, her fingertips brushing against any youma she passed by. She wasn't sure exactly what she was looking for, but she had a feeling she'd know when she found it. When she found herself at the entrance of the Rift she felt a shiver of fear flow down her spine. That was definitely not what she was looking for. Turning away she began walking again not taking heed which way she turned or what rooms she passed through.
Finally she came upon a room she hadn't seen before. The room itself wasn't so different from the rest of the subspace, but the youma inside were. They were all feral youma, and surprisingly they all had generally the same shape. It wasn't until she got closer that she realized what they were were and a smile lit upon her face. These were the offspring of the phoenix youma Tanzanite had become. She recognized them from that horrible night. For a moment she wondered if she should be there, these youma were probably special to the General-Queen, they were technically her kids after all.
It was as she was beginning to second guess herself and back out of the room that she felt something bump into the small of her back. Stopping she looked behind, her smile widening upon seeing one of the youma phoenixes. Turning around completely she took a closer look at this particular creature. The youma phoenixes were bigger than she had thought now that she saw one up close. This ones dark skin and size reminded her of Toothless (she had just watched How to Train Your Dragon with her Grandmother in an attempt to keep things normal), but that is where the similarities ended. The dragon phoenix looked a lot like his mother, covered in spines, with a large set of wings, sharp claws, and a hooked undoubtedly sharp beak like face.
”Hey there,” Her voice was quiet, and only after a moment's hesitation (she still remembered what happened in the Rift) she put out her hand to touch the phoenix youma. Her fingers touched hard scales, ghosting over ridges and spikes, the smile never leaving her face as she pet the phoenix. All it took was a happy trill from the youma to erase any doubt or fear the youma attack in the Rift had planted inside her. While she would never be stupid enough to approach a wild youma in the Rift again, she wasn't going to let that one incident ruin one of the things that made her truly happy.
