She hadn't given up her search for those who had helped her in the battle. she kept trying her crystal, and was not going to relent until she made sure anyone on her side, of the negaverse, who might have gotten into danger because of her were okay.
She was focused on finding Zanazziite this afternoon, almost evening. She was sitting on the roof of her house, behind the fireplace stack so no one could see her. Not that she could really care if they did, but it was better to be safe than sorry sometimes.
Anyway, this side was more comfortable to sit on.
She had her crystal in hand, closing her eyes and trying to find the nega with the antlers for weapons. She was feeling a bit of pain today, if only because she hadn't taken her pain killers yet and her injuries were bothering her about it, as if to remind her. She would after she was done here, until the next time she tried. Pretty much every hour, for as long as it would take.

Claudia Jensen had a pretty badly broken nose that her parents were none too happy about. They also didn't buy her story about running into a tree. Lucky enough for her they weren't the type of parents to pry, just the kind of parents who sent their child off to the best plastic surgeon in the city. Which was why she had a splint on her nose and two black eyes.
Even though she couldn't breathe through her nose without it hurting she knew she needed to get back to roaming the streets. A broken nose was a minor injury compared to others, and she shouldn't let that stand in her way.
So, there she was sitting on a rooftop in downtown Destiny City, watching for someone striking out on their own. It was while she was searching that she felt her crystal vibrating from its subspace pocket. Summoning it she cupped it in her hands near her mouth. "Hello?"

Painite very nearly fell off her roof.
"Ah! Hello!?" She said, then she lowered her voice, clearing her throat and trying again with a bit more calm. "This is Lieutenant Painite. Ah. You helped me in the fight? I was the one with the stick horse... I was wondering if you were okay? Can I come see you, and make sure?"
She was ready to head out, already hopping down from her roof, crystal gripped firmly so she didn't drop it. Even though she was powered up, she still had to go slow. Her body ached from everything, and she knew she would be feeling it for a while yet.
Her face was bruised from getting punched by Chaonis, her stomach burned and cut from Regulus, her side cut open by Bellatrix, and an arrow wound she did her damned best to hide any trace of, just in case.

Zanazziite's brows arched a little at how surprised the other Lieutenant was. Hadn't she called her? She recognized Painite's description of herself immediately. She was the one she had saved from the crazy senshi with the spear right before her nose got broken. "I remember you," Was she okay? Her nose was broken, but beyond that she was fine, and her nose would heal. The plastic surgeon even said it would look exactly the same as it had before it was broken.
There was a pause before she spoke again. "I'm fine, really. Just a couple bruises." She kicked her heels against the side of the building, continuing on. "You really don't have to come see me." She knew her nose looked pretty bad, and didn't want to make anyone worry over her.

"Oh, but I want to!" Painite insisted, sounding pouty.
And she was: she was literally pouting out her lower lip, though there was no way the other Nega would be able to see. She stopped in her backyard, just holding her crystal and looking at it with a pitiful frown. Her soft seagreen eyes would have worked wonders in her aid of looking like a kicked puppy if they had been talking face to face.
They had to talk face to face.
"I just want to really make sure, and maybe we could talk a bit? I owe you so much for saving me like you did! And I really won't sleep right if I didn't at least offered to pay you back somehow. Please?"
Of course, she doubted she would be sleeping well any time soon, anyway.

Zanazziite bit her lip, but her resistance didn't last long. The other girl really sounded like she was worried about her well being. "Well, alright I guess." She pushed herself to her feet, stepping away from the edge of the roof, careful not to drop her crystal.
"Where do you want to meet?" Shifting her crystal into one hand, she lifted the other playing with her pearls. Maybe she should take the brace off her nose so it didn't look so bad? But that wouldn't really help, she still had two black eyes and her nose was swollen. Not to mention that her plastic surgeon had warned her not to take it off or her nose could heal crooked, and she really didn't want that to happen.

"Uhm!" Painite beamed at her crystal, happy to have gotten the other to agree. They could talk, and she could learn more about the Negaverserer who had helped keep her from being killed by a Senshi. She doubted there was much she could do to repay that, but she would certainly try.
"Where are you right now?"
She moved to leave the backyard, locking the gate as she headed down the street. She had to go slowly, her side already burning, and she winced as she put her free hand over it. Maybe she should have gone to a proper hospital, instead of a drop in clinic, but she had assumed that if they were offering medical services they knew what they were doing...
Always the optimist, she supposed.
"I'm heading toward the community theatre, do you know where that is? I can meet you on the roof. Or I can go where ever you are, if that's out of the way!"

The bluenette swished her dress as she waited for the other Lieutenant to pick a meeting place. Swish, swish, swish. It was a bit hypnotic the way it moved around her calves.
Painite's voice snapped her out of the swishing and she looked to the crystal. "I'm downtown, on one of the business buildings." She moved back to the edge of the building trying to look at the name of the building, but she was too close and couldn't read it upside down. Plus leaning over the edge was starting to freak her out, she didn't think she'd survive a fall like that. Stepping back she leaned against a big air vent.
"Oh, I know where that is." She had gone with her grandmother to a play once at the community theatre. "I can meet you there, I shouldn't be too long. See you in a bit." She ended the call and let the crystal disappear into the subspace. Taking a running start she jumped to the neighbouring roof, making her way towards the community theatre.

"Downtown! Perfect! Then the theatre it is!" She knew it wasn't too far, so they'd be able to meet up soon enough. Not as soon as she might have liked though, considering how slowed down her pace was.
But she hurried along, hand on her side, just trying to keep everything in place even though she knew her bandages would be fine.
She took a good while, but climbed up to the top of the theatre building and flopped down onto the side rail, sighing as she caught her breath. She looked around, knowing the other would have to have gotten there by now, unless she hadn't been as close as she said.
"Are you here?" She called, not worried about anyone being around to hear them. That was the point of rooftops, wasn't it? She was sure most criminals and whatever used them for all their fun times.

Zanazziite was indeed there, hiding behind one of the air vents. When the other Lieutenant called out to her she reached up fiddling with her pearls again. She should probably go out there, but Painite was going to freak out at the sight of her nose, just like her grandmother did.
Sighing she stepped out from behind the air vent. "I'm here." She crossed her arms over her chest, walking towards the other girl. "It looks worse than it actually is," She raised a hand, vaguely indicating her face.
The younger girl looked over Lieutenant Painite, she didn't look that good either. "Are you alright?"

Painite began to worry. Had she gotten lost? No, of course not. Nega's learned the city like the back of their hand quite quickly, or at least Painite had. Though she was the kind to over research everything, all the time.
She was about to take the energy hit and just use her crystal again, just in case, but then Zan stepped out and Painite saw her shadow first, looking up as her crystal returned to her subspace pocket. She blinked when she saw the other girl's nose, her expression falling to the floor, though when she opened her mouth to comment on it Zan beat her to the punch.
Moving closer, she looked at the injury critically, as if to determine for herself if it was worse than it looked or not.
"It looks pretty bad... I can't imagine it doesn't hurt. Is it going to heal okay?" She could tell, at least, that she had been to the doctor. She smiled brightly and nodded. "I'm fine," she said, despite the obvious bruise on her face and the injuries that were much easier to hide, "and alive, thanks to you! I really do appreciate it, you could have been killed! I owe you."

That was the expression that Zan was trying to avoid seeing. The one that screamed 'oh my gosh, you look horrible'. She watched as the other girl examined her injury, staying still during the inspection.
"It only hurts when I touch it...or breath." She smiled slightly with a light shrug of her shoulders. Her plastic surgeon had done as much as he could, but he wasn't a god. "My plastic surgeon said it should look the same as it was in a couple weeks as long as I keep the brace on."
"That's good that you're alright." Her smile widened slightly. It felt weird to smile after everything she had seen in Elysium. "You're welcome, it was the least I could do. That crazy woman was going to spear you, where did they get spears?" She shook her head, the Negaverse were supposed to be the ones with weapons, right? She lifted a hand, brushing a blue strand of hair behind her ear. "You don't owe me anything, I couldn't not help." She didn't really feel like she did anything worth paying back.

Painite looked a little relieved, though she wasn't sure she liked the idea that the poor girl would be in pain and unable to breathe properly for that long. Painite hadn't seen what had happened, but clearly it had been and intense fight.
"I have no idea! I thought that was odd too. Well, not then I didn't, because I was a bit distracted, but it definitely strikes me as strange now! I'm glad she didn't run you through either, though."
She grinned now, nodding her head.
"I definitely do owe you! And I'll make it up to you somehow! Anything you want, any time you need help, anything! You can contact me any time!" She nodded quite a few times, offering her hand. It was a deal, and she would make sure no one hurt her new friend.
"Painite, at your service!"

Zanazziite couldn't help but feel a little bit lighter for the first time since the battle. Painite was like an unending source of optimism which was something Zan didn't really understand. How could someone be happy and optimistic after fighting a battle like they had. Of course she had meant her impassioned words from that night, surviving was a victory. But she was starting to wonder if it was enough of a victory.
When the other Lieutenant started nodding like a bobble head Zan couldn't help but laugh, wincing slightly as she did. Laughing did not make her nose feel any better. Reaching out she shook the older girl's hand. "Zanazziite." She smiled, feeling more like her old self by the minute. She couldn't let one battle completely destroy all the good parts of her. "And I guess you can make it up to me...if you really want too." She smiled down at the other woman, her hands clasped behind her back.

Painite smiled at her broadly.
She couldn't help herself. There was very little that could get her down for good. Every failure would only lend itself to a better second try: every mistake was just something to learn from. She would take what she learned in that battle, the feelings she experienced and the pride she felt in herself for the Negaverse, and she would grow from it. The senshi wouldn't know what hit them next time!
"I do really want to! Thank you! You'll see, I'll make sure no one gets close to doing that again to you, I'm bloody well sure." She motioned to the younger girl's nose for emphasis.
She folded her arms over her chest, wincing slightly as it stretched her side in a way that she didn't like.
