Another day, another dollar, as they saying went. Though Tony was hoping he had made a little more than a dollar, considering how many hours he had put in. He was tired, bone tired, but that wasn't anything new. He was working rather hard following the whole dream thing, and he didn't want to give himself time to think. It was either all work, or time to hit the bar. But he couldn't escape it entirely.
He had dreams. Strange dreams that seemed to be lingering from that world he was absolutely sure he had gone to. He had been there, he had felt it. He met those people, he experienced those strange things. He couldn't explain it, but it had been no coma dream or hallucination.
Whatever it was, it hadn't been a dream. He wasn't going to forget it.
Closing the library doors and locking them, he put his hand in his pocket, the other gripping his cane and using it to help him waddle along. He limped slowly, not in a hurry to get back to his empty apartment, looking up at the night sky as the stars slowly drifted by with each step.
He knew Virgo wasn't going to meet him, but he couldn't help but feel a bit lonely. He was used to having company for this walk now. Not that he knew why he was walking: he had bought a new (used) car, and it would be much easier on his leg if he just drove.
But he needed the exercise, he supposed.

When Zanazziite had woken up from her very weird dream she had been in the hospital as Claudia Jensen and her Grandmother was at her bedside. When she mentioned everything that had happened to her the doctor's kept telling her it was a dream, some side effect of the coma that other patients were experiencing as well. The thought that Camelot was all a dream was both reliving and terrifying at the same time. Did Mr. Darrow not save her? Did she really make it up? He held her hand and kept her from getting horribly lost in the dungeon labyrinth. The thought of that not actually happening was depressing. So, the Lieutenant had decided to spend some time following the Librarian around. The Negaverse was in some kind of upheaval, or at least that's what the rumour mill said and she didn't think it would be noticed if she took a couple extra hours out of her day to follow him. And she worked extra hard to collect star seeds when she wasn't keeping an eye on her white knight so it wasn't like she was slacking.
The sixteen year old was aware that she was getting obsessed but she couldn't help it. Mr. Darrow was amazing and she was completely in love with him. She just had to show him so that he'd understand. And she had to make sure that her dream wasn't just a dream. That was why she was why she was hiding behind a tree outside the library at night. He'd have to come out eventually and then she'd talk to him.
She had shown up a little late so she didn't have to wait too long for him to step out. her eyes lit up behind her glasses at the sight of him, but...a cane? He seemed okay in her dream. Maybe she was making it up. Her face fell, but she was still determined. The bluenette fixed her hair and then adjusted her gloves before she stepped out from behind the tree to stand in front of him, her brown dress swishing quietly. She had to tilt her head up to look him in the face, and it was obvious she was anxious. "Mr. Darrow?" Would he remember her? Would he even know who she was?

Tony nearly jumped right out of his skin when she appeared beside him, not expecting any company, let alone someone waiting for him. He stumbled sideways, dropping his cane and leaning on the door to the library for balance, coming thisclose to toppling over, his hand leaving a smear on the glass that he would have to clean up in the morning the next day.
He looked at her in surprise, recognizing her instantly.
"Abigail!" he said, without thought. That was the name she had given them in their strange shared dream, after all, and that was how he knew her. He half wondered if she still had that rat with her, but no, that couldn't be so. Nothing that happened there seemed to carry over here, much as nothing that happened here seemed to carry over there.
Which was why he hadn't had a cane or any injuries when he had arrived in Camelot.
"Good lord!" he moved on instinct, moving to her to touch her arm and shoulder and then finally her head just to make sure she was real. Of course, patting someone on the head was a bit rude, and he pulled back sheepishly. "I-I'm sorry, I just... I thought... ah..." He frowned, staring at her blankly.
"How... are you?"

A gloved hand flew to her mouth when he jumped. She didn't mean to scare him! Quick as a wink though she grabbed his cane before it hit the ground, her grip tight around it. When he called her Abigail a grin lit up her face. Of course that wasn't her name, but it was the name she had given him. He remembered her, Camelot had happened! She suddenly felt so relieved that she wasn't just making it all up.
And then he was touching her, her arm, shoulder and then her head. Each touch made her grin widen, it was just a touch but it meant the world to her. When he apologized she just shook her head. "It's okay, Mr. Darrow!" It was ridiculous how happy she was too see him.
"I'm doing good, I uh...I wanted to check on you after the whole....dungeon....thing." She trailed off realizing that she sounded crazy when she said it out loud. Realizing that she was still holding onto his cane she offered it out to him. "Oh, here's your cane. Sorry for scaring you."

Tony was very embarrassed about patting her like she was some kind of object, rather than a person. It was like a dream, for lack of a better word, when something appears in it and then, suddenly, one sees it in their real life. How could they not reach out to touch it, to make sure it was real? But she was not an it: she was a young woman and he had no business patting her on the head.
What was he thinking?
He wobbled a bit before she offered him his cane back, smiling broadly. He was very glad to see her, even if the hello had been a little awkward. It certainly confirmed what he had been telling himself was true, yet still doubting: Camelot, that coma-dream world it seemed better to pretend was fantasy, had been some level of real. People didn't share dreams without a reason, and with running into Ian and Abigail, Tony was absolutely convinced.
They had been there together, the three of them, in that dungeon. They had befriended a rat, found a map, and joined a group of senshi to work their way out of that place. Whatever else had happened was a blur, but he remembered those things clearly, the clearest being the time he spent in the dungeon with the two young adults.
"Dungeon thing, yes," he said, nodding as he leaned on his cane. "So you remember it too, then? How very... I mean. This is all very strange. I can't believe ... ah! So, you're doing well then? Everything is okay since you woke up?" He looked around, realizing it was an odd time for her to be visiting the library. "What brings you here?"

"I remember it all," The sixteen year old shuddered, thinking of the dead bodies. The only thing she missed from that dungeon was holding Mr. Darrow's hand. Well, that and Rufus, he was a nice rat. She had actually been thinking of getting a pet rat because of him, but Crystal frowned on having pets.
Clasping her hands in front of her she stared up at him with violet eyes. "I've been doing okay. It took me a little while...to realize it was all real I mean. They told me it was a dream." She shook her head, the hospital lied to her which wasn't surprising really. How were they supposed to explain several people waking up with the same dream saying they went to Camelot? "My parents don't believe me, I think they want to send me to a shrink, but I talked them out of it. I don't think anyone would understand...unless they were there." Her eyes which had started to roam moved back to his face. He had been there, he shared that nightmare.
And suddenly he was asking her a very ordinary question she didn't have the answer too. "Oh, uh..." She searched her mind for an excuse and ended up with mostly the truth. "I was hoping to run into you, I just wanted to see if you remembered too..." And I Just wanted to see you, and maybe hold your hand again. Embarrassed by her thoughts she looked down at her shoes as she scuffed the pavement.

Tony had not been quite as much of a fan of Rufus as Abigail had, though he was sure it was a nice animal. Even if it hadn't been as real as they seemed to be. Unless... a rat had been in a coma, and was in there with them? Was that possible? Or had it been a rat from Camelot?
He wasn't sure why he was thinking of this now. He supposed seeing her reminded him of that rat, and how she had been so keen on holding it and bringing it around with them. Of course, seeing either her or Ian was bound to bring up a whole lot of memories from that place. Being trapped in a dungeon with a couple of other people would do that.
He nodded, listening.
"I told myself it was a dream, for a short while, but I didn't believe it. I think I was just trying to be rid of those memories, let them fade like a dream. It was all very strange..." he sighed, knowing why a parent might not want their kid to go around talking about Camelot and dead people, and being there to boot, but he also knew that she wasn't crazy.
"Ah, yes," he said, believing her easily, "if I had known where you and Ian were, or how to contact you, I would have thought to do so. I suppose I should have just checked the library records... uh..." He looked sheepish, embarrassed that he had only just thought of something so simple and obvious. "Well, which way are you walking? I can accompany you: it's not really safe to walk alone."

When he mentioned checking the library records she had a little moment of panic. She wouldn't be in them, at least not as Abigail since that wasn't her real name and all. Thankfully he hadn't checked the records though and her secret was still safe. "Yeah, I haven't seen Ian since. I hope he's okay..."
Her thoughts about the other boy were cut off at his offer to walk her. Her eyes widened and she thought fast. "Oh, uhm, okay." It went against her better judgment to let her walk her home, he could find out who she was. But then again he'd never seen her house before, and while her parents were rich they weren't famous at all.
Looking over at him a little shyly she reached out and curled her fingers around a couple of his. "I'll lead the way," She smiled up at him, a blush on her cheeks before looking away quickly. Beginning to walks he didn't let go of his fingers. "Thank you, for offering to walk me home."

Tony was a bit surprised when she took his hand, but he supposed she had every reason to trust him. After all, in Camelot he had done his best to protect her, and he still felt that impulse. They would always be connected, he supposed, the three of them that had woken in that dungeon together. Oblivious as always, the librarian gripped her fingers reassuringly.
He smiled warmly and nodded his head.
"I think that would be best: if I lead the way we would just get lost," he chuckled, walking with her and shrugging his shoulders. "It's the least I could do. The city is in such a mess, I'd feel very wrong if I let you walk home alone, particularly at this time of night. Uh... not meaning you wouldn't be capable on your own... but... uh.."
He chuckled and sighed, giving up on explaining himself. He always ended up babbling, whether he was nervous or embarrassed or just in a good mood.

"I understand," She smiled up at him, leading him down the street. She knew how easy it would be to lead him into an alleyway and take his starseed, but she couldn't do that to Mr. Darrow. So, instead she just continued to lead him nowhere.
That was until she felt the power signature of a senshi somewhere nearby. She froze, violet eyes wide as she looked around. She couldn't be found by a senshi in front of Mr. Darrow, then her rouse would be up and he'd know she wasn't Abigail. "I...I have to go, Mr. Darrow." Quickly she hugged him around the waist. "Thank you for walking with me!" And with that she was running down the street, ducking into an alley way. He would probably find her sudden departure strange, but not as strange as if a senshi started attacking her right in front of him.

Tony looked baffled when she hugged him and pulled away, opening his mouth to protest, thinking he could probably hurry along with her if she was late or something, just to keep her alone, but she was off before he could get any words out. He blinked, confused, then rubbed the back of his neck.
He was probably going to worry about her until the next time he saw her now. But hopefully she would be able to get the rest of the way home in one piece. Maybe it had just been right around the corner?
He could only hope.
Sighing, watching where she had vanished for a moment, he moved to head in the direction of his own apartment, shoving his hands in his pockets and trying not to imagine all the terrible things that might happen if his bad luck had rubbed off on her or something.
She'd be fine.
