Nicknames: Imo, Gen-Gen
Meaning: Imogen comes from the Celtic word for 'maiden'. Her seldom used middle name Adél means 'noble'. While her family's surname was once Faragó, meaning 'cutter' in Hungarian and an occupational name for a woodcutter, over the years it has become Farrago. That's an unusual word for a 'mix, a medley, a confused assortment'.

Virtues:
Energetic – Imogen naturally has a lot of energy and she has since she was a child. She has found various hobbies over the years to funnel this energy into. Many teenagers like to sleep in on weekends but not her; she’s up early everyday so she can start off her day with a jog, she goes swimming quite often and she just generally enjoys being active. She gets restless if cooped up with nothing to do (she's prone to doodling in her school books). Occasionally she’ll push herself too hard if she’s swept up in something and she’ll have a burnout but usually she’s good to go.
Courageous – She has a stock of bravery like everyone does but it’s when that runs out that her courageousness shows. This trait has developed in part due to her dancing. While she has loved to dance from the get-go, she originally suffered from stage fright. However through her own determination and with her mother’s encouragement she overcame that. Likewise when she realised she liked other girls, she was initially quite freaked out but again she decided to deal with it and move on. She believes things like fear and pain can be overcome if you put your energy and heart into it.
Warm and Expressive- Except in extreme circumstances (say, she's busy dodging a youma) she is friendly and open, trying to treat everyone nicely even if she doesn’t know them. Imo puts others happiness before her own and cares deeply for her friends and her family. Once you win a place in her heart, you’re there to stay – it would take extreme circumstances for her to give up on someone. She’d not shy of telling the people she cares about either nor shy of sharing her thoughts and feelings about things …with the exception of her crushes. But even then she can’t help but express her feelings without meaning to, because she becomes quite the klutz around those she likes.
Adaptive –She likes to be flexible and to be able to go with the flow, to be ready to change to suit whatever life throws out. Imo is good at thinking on her feet. She also enjoys improvisation when it comes to her dancing. There’s something very fluid and organic to improvisation to her, it comes easier than more strictly choreographed pieces. Imogen is a firm believer in changing things, spicing things up a bit and making things your own. She has somethings that need to be routine like school and practise but in her free time she likes to try new things and keep things fresh. She is also good at thinking of new ways to pursue goals should they become unobtainable with her old plan.
Flaws:
Over-emotional – Imo feels things deeply, which makes her prone to mood swings and over reaction. If things go well, she’ll be elated but if they go badly…oh the woe and when she gets mad she rages. Its not just when things happen to herself either. She feels empathic and is sympathetic to others too. Due to her expressive nature it’s quite obvious what her mood is most of the time. Some people find this very irritating and could find her mood swings very wishy washy.
Hopeless Romantic – Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find your soul mate? Imogen thinks so and often daydreams of finding hers, doodling hearts in her margins. She may laugh remembering her "princess phase" but part of her never really left it. While waiting for true love to strike however she’s prone to form crushes on others (often on people she probably shouldn’t). This is a flaw in that she lets her feelings for people cloud her judgment and all those crushes usually end in disappointment and heartbreak. This coupled with her being over-emotional leads to some rather dramatic depression at times.
Zealous – When she decides she’s in, Imo does not just support a cause or like something or belong to a group. She also internalizes it and makes it a part of who she is, a part of her identity. She takes pride in it and devotes herself to it. Because of this her enthusiasm for things can be overboard, fanatical, as she takes it all very personally. This can make her look arrogant and/or obsessive. She also attempts to push herself beyond her limits, not wanting to admit defeat and using her adaptive side will try to reach whatever goal she has even if she must change her plan all the way through to get there. When too focused on one thing or trying to spread herself out to focus on several she neglects other areas of her life and foolishly tries to stave off burnouts with caffeine. That might postpone the inevitable but only make her burnouts worse.
Klutz – Sometimes, high emotions and extreme enthusiasm (with perhaps a dash of caffeine to top it all of) is a volatile mix. When this happens Imogen gets clumsy. She’s been known to drop things, to trip over her own feet, to shut her own skirt in a door….it’s not good, especially when she's a dancer and dancers are "supposed to be graceful". She’s often more klutzy around those she has crushes on as well. Luckily for her she's fine on the dance floor usually, since all her dance partners are male, so she’s never had crushes on them. However she has been known to fancy her rival female before now. Safe to say it didn’t end well.
Hobbies:
Dance - When she was a little girl, Imogen was into pink, princesses and ponies. Something she especially loved was how the princesses would end up dancing with their prince – in Disney movies for example, Belle, Aurora, Ariel and Cinderella all did to name just a few. It looked so romantic to Imo. Her mother Sarah agreed to sign Imo up for ballroom lessons, namely waltzing, hoping it’d be an outlet for her energy (and it was cheaper than a pony!). Having left the waltz behind her when she grew out of her “princess phase”, swing dancing is Imogen’s game now and she favours the Lindy Hop. She’s a Jitterbug through and through. She adores the music, the moves and the fun to be had out on the floor. She enjoys swing because the dances are fast, lively and when it comes to the Lindy Hop it relies on improvisation, which she finds fun. She dances casually and also occasionally dances in small competitions.
Music - Imogen isn't a great singer and she was more interested in dancing to music than making it. However, she really enjoys all kinds of music and creates mixes all the time. She likes to find new music to swing to and to create themed albums and playlists (fanmixer!). She is the kind of person who always has a song running through their mind and has a good memory for songs and their lyrics. Her most prized possession is her iPod and she takes it with her whenever she can.
Exploring - With her high levels of energy staving off boredom is a priority and besides, it's always good to expand your horizons. She likes to explore new things, whether it's heading to a new part of town, trying out a new kind of food or trying out yoga. Keeping things fresh and new keeps her interested and active.
Others - Jogging and swimming, snapshot photography (nothing fancy or artsy), keeping a journal, sometimes karaoke and...does coffee count as a hobby? Coffee should totally count as a hobby. Imogen runs on coffee.

Symbol: 
The moon Carpo does not have an official symbol, as many astronomical objects do not if they were discovered more recently. However, Sailor Carpo does have a symbol! Hers is an old Germanic symbol meaning 'the autumn season', that resembles the style of the signs of the Zodiac.
Challenge:
Short – Evil will fall!
Long – In the name of Carpo, your evil will soon fall before me!
Attacks:
The strength of Carpo’s attacks vary on what season it is. In her own season of autumn her attacks are at their strongest whereas in the spring her attacks are at their weakest. Another variant of the strength of her attacks is her proximity to Chronos who can change what season it is within a half-mile area to power up those who corresponds to that season.
Attack #1a - Carpo Leaf Strike!
Sailor Carpo summons a trio of green leaves to her hand. These then charge up with power, becoming rigid and sharp, while turning brilliant autumn-colours as they do. These can then be thrown with precision like knives. This offensive attack can be used three times in battle.
Attack #1b - Carpo Leaf Storm!
An upgrade of the previous attack, Sailor Carpo has double the number of leaves and they are more dangerous. They can be propelled at the enemy in a blast all at once or if Carpo stops to hold them there they can stay amassed in the air to obscure a small area. This can be used twice in battle.
Fighting Style:
Strengths - Due to her active lifestyle and being very energetic, she has good endurance, is pretty speedy and agility skills. She is a brave and determined fighter who throws her all into every battle. She is good at adapting.
Weaknesses - She lets her heart rule her head. It can hinder her and can badly affect her judgment. Her enthusiasm can cause her to become rash or simply klutzy. She is also doesn't have brute strength on her side.
Handmaiden Role:
Long ago in their past lives the Zodiac Guards were stationed at fortifications around the edges of the Solar System, offering protection against the chaos monsters and alien threats. They had a princess, Chronos whose prince was the cavalier Eon and whose guardian cat was Zue. Finally there were the Hands, the Season Senshi, who assisted Chronos magically....Carpo was Autumn then as she is Autumn now.
While they were likewise reborn in modern Destiny City, the Hands weren't awakened with the rest of the court who when awakened got full memories of their past lives. Carpo does not remember her past life and will never remember it like a Zodiac does, though she will get some flashes of it in her dreams in the future. Imogen is very like her past life in looks and personality, save her hair is much shorter and she can be more distracted in her modern life from her duties.
Source of Designation:
The Horae - Goddesses of nature and the order of life, the horae were daughters of the god Zeus (aka Jupiter). One of the most ancient of the many Horae is Carpo who personified the autumn season. Carpo (meaning “fruitful”) was the horae of the harvest, the ripening of growing things, plenty, and everything autumnal. She was also a minor air goddess, she guarded the way to Mount Olympus and let back the clouds surrounding the mountain when the gods came and went to admit them.
The Moon - Carpo is a satellite of Jupiter, the outermost prograde moon. What makes it interesting is it has many unusual properties – it is a lone member of a unique class, not being able to be in one of the "families" of Jovian satellites, and it has has an irregular orbit. It was discovered in 2003 and was named in early 2005 after the Horae.

 Hair: Redhead! At it's darkest her hair is auburn and it's highlights are fiery. It is naturally thick and curly, falling in ringlets to the bottom of her shoulderblades. She usually puts it up simply, in half-up half-down style with a clip.
Eyes: Imogen's eyes are a pretty bright turquoise and are quite wide. When she beams, they tend to crinkle a bit. If she makes it to being an old lady she'll probably get laughter lines.
Face: Her face is heart shaped, a 'pixie' face as her mother Sarah calls it. Square jaw, pointed chin, round cheeks. Very expressive. Usually smiling.
Body: Imo is quite short, usually around half a head shorter than her peers. Curvy. Girl's got /hips/, seriously, think Chel or Tinkerbell here. Imogen's skin is pale and does not freckle or tan - she just sunburns so she has to stock up on protective lotion come summer. She is very fit and agile.
Clothes: Imogen's style is laid back and casual. She values comfort over following fashion. If it doesn't feel nice to wear, it's not worth wearing! She also doesn't like her clothes to be too flashy or something unsuitable to go running about it. She either wears dresses or tops with either skirts (she likes those that flare when she dances) or occasionally jeans. Imo likes detailing to be understated and likes mixing plain fabric with pretty prints. Colourwise she favours deep or rich tones that compliment her hair/skin - nothing too bright and she won't touch pink now she's grown up. She doesn't actually spend too much time on her clothes. If it looks okay and is comfy, she's good to go.
Accessories: She doesn't have anything she always wears, in fact she usually goes without jewellery and so doesn't own much. However one favourite for when she does put some on is a little acorn charm she has inherited from her grandmother Erce, who got it when she was small. Her grandmother always said it represented how, as Thomas Fuller put it in 1732, "the greatest oaks have been little acorns."

 Growing Up:
Her father died in a car accident when Imogen was about 8 months old. Ádám Farrago was a passenger in a car being driven by a friend. They’d spent a night out with their work buddies. In another car a tired driver took his attention of the road long enough for his car to meander into the path of theirs making the driver of the car Ádám was in swerve sharply to avoid it. He then overcorrected, spinning the car through another lane of traffic, slamming it into a guardrail, flipping it over said guardrail…the car rolled at around 60mph down the embankment and when it stopped the driver’s pelvis was broken in four places and Ádám was dead.
Sarah Farrago raised Imogen with the help of her parents who they lived with when Imo was a babe and of her late husband Ádám’s parents who sent money, letters and visited when they could. She was always anxious that she present a good front, for she was aware (or perhaps paranoid that) some might criticise her and her daughter harshly because she was a single parent. She was able to get a part time job with their family’s support while Imo was small and then full time once Imo was in school, their relatives looking after during the evenings Sarah was working. On the weekends she spent as much time with her daughter as possible, cramming in all sorts of activities to make up for her not being there in the week.
As a young child, Imo was a ball of energy and was in a serious ‘princess phase’ until she was ten. When she was six, the family chipped in so she could go to a waltz class. The reason she wanted to learn to waltz because so many of the fairy tale princesses ended up having a romantic dance with their prince. Her family just wanted her happy though her being occupied elsewhere for hours and her burning off some of that energy of hers were also pluses. Imo had quite a normal school life and was happy as a child. As a teen she had a bit of a flap about discovering she didn’t want to find her prince, but her princess because she worried what her mother would think. Sarah spent a month fretting about it, before she decided that Imo was her daughter and that if they could weather loosing her own father and Ádám that Imo being gay was nothing.
Influenced by Sarah, Imo asserts that while she may have grown up with only one of her parents but her family, her home was never “broken” thankyou very much. Imogen resents anyone who starts spouting off theories about how her being overemotional is because she grew up with one parent. It’s not; it’s just her personality, though perhaps it is true she got her love of trying new things from her mother cramming her weekends full of new activities until she took up dance. There are so many single parent families these days, it bugs her when people automatically assume her childhood must have been hard or she must be messed up from the experience. She knows she had a better upbringing than some people have had with both parents.
Sarah has clawed her way up the corporate ladder over the years and moved her daughter and her own mother Erce (her father having passed away) to Destiny City due to a work transfer. The money was better for her job, it meant Erce could come live with them and she thought the opportunities in the city were attractive options for her daughter.
When Imogen supposedly died in a car crash not long after they moved to Destiny, her mother Sarah and Erce were crushed.

 Family Members:
Erce Miller – It was not easy running about in late middle age after a toddler but Erce did, helping her daughter Sarah raise her own daughter Imogen As Imogen has grown older, she’s seen her grandmother Erce have to slow down considerably and seen her once grey hair turn white. She now spends most of her time about the house. However, just because she’s got older and can’t get out much doesn’t mean that Erce is loosing it. She’s a hearty old woman with a kind nature and a wicked sense of humour. She’s always is glad for a visit from her grandchild. She misses her late husband and likes to trade stories about their younger days together for news about what’s happening in Imo’s life and being told about all the new things she’s tried lately. Erce is a religious woman and says that she'll be praying 'til her dying day thanking the Lord for bringing Imo back to her family. Imogen adores her, for she is like her second mother, and calls her Nanna.
Sarah Farrago (nee Miller) – An independent and strong woman, Sarah believes that she has a lot to prove. She’s worked hard to further her career, which luckily she loves, to provide for her family. She is very concerned about appearances and tries to make sure her daughter is a credit to her and has all the best opportunities Sarah can give her. She always pushed Imo to be independent like herself, go out an experience the world and is proud that though they love each other, she has never keep tabs on Imo twenty-four seven...until she spent a year thinking that Imo had died in a traffic accident like her husband had and then Imo turned up injured but alive in the hospital she’d supposedly passed away in, the victim of an organ trafficking ring. Now she expects Imo to check in more often but who can blame her really. Imo has a pretty normal relationship with her mother and loves her even when she annoys her.
Ádám Farrago - The late husband of Sarah and father of Imo. Sarah tried dating other men briefly but has never had much luck. She always jokes her standards are too high after Ádám. Sarah always told Imo were not a fairytale pair. They were a normal couple and though sometimes they'd bicker they loved each other very much - they were the real deal. Still, Imo imagines they were perfect. There are several photo albums that Sarah has that are like the story of Ádám and she kept all sorts of things of his to show their daughter. Some of his old belongings, stories he wrote as his hobby, newspaper clippings from when he was a boy and he got in the paper for winning a local writing contest...Even though Imogen at 8 months can't remember her dad very well, she feels like she knows him and he's had an impact on her life. Sometimes she plays the MP3s of the songs he had records of on her iPod and either cries for through them all or walks along feeling lifted up knowing it was his kind of music and now it's hers too.
Friends:
Dagmar Thorsen - Sweetest girl in the world. Aggie, as she is more usually called, was once a crush of hers. That didn't work out at all and Imo is not sure if Aggie ever cottoned on to it anyway but she did become Imogen's best friend. Despite Aggie being two years older than her, they were close, enough that Imogen knows the name of Libby Hilton (the bully who made Aggie's life hell when she was younger) and Aggie knows the name of...well, names, of half the girls Imo's had a crush on. At BP they used to often sneakily make popcorn and have loads of movie nights in one dormroom or another. Imo remembered Aggie best of everyone at BP and was scared when after BP Aggie turned up in her hospital room not knowing who Imo was. She was beyond relieved when she started to remember. Now they will be going to two different schools which will put a bit of strain on their friendship but Imo is determined to stay best friends.
Sue Gottschalk - When they were at Barren Pines, these two never crossed paths. Different houses, different classes, you name it. Imogen knew him by sight as the guy with the cats. Waking up in hospital he was the first fellow survivor she spoke to. Even though he berated her for forgetting half a year, she was grateful that he pushed her in the right direction - that is, trying to remember what happened and finding out where people she knew were now. While he seems tough and isn't always the most sociable of guys, she thinks of Sue as a good friend. One to get to know better but a good friend none the less. Imo's never quite sure how he'll react to stuff but has a good time with him. Plus, she trusts him in an odd weird innate fashion. Imogen is not one to question her gut feelings though and just puts it down to to Sue not being the kind of guy to muck you about.
Skye Fortescue - The first person Imogen met from her new school, though they met before Imo actually started at Crystal. They got chatting over Astrology books at the bookstore and somehow ended up spending the rest of the day hanging out. She's a very sociable girl, strong willed and she keeps Imo guessing. She has a strong imposing and forceful personality that she finds hard to resist. Most of the time what Skye wants to do, they'll likely end up doing. Skye seems to have chosen to taken her under her wing as a new Crystal girl, giving her suitable clothes and such. Imogen thinks she's very confident and admires her for being generous even if she feels a bit awkward being given so much.

Barren Pines Survivors:
Like most survivor kids, Imogen can't remember anything beyond a few fuzzy memories at the very start of Barren Pines, before the first deaths happened. These kids made an impression on her in those scanty memories.
Azzo Wolf Crowley - From Leprosy house like Imo so she saw him around at school, at meals, during sports and such. They weren't really friends though and all she can remember is his well known nickname 'The Puppetmaster'. Saw on the survivor list.
Kirin Thompson - Ice ice baby. A fellow member of Leprosy house, Kirin was a cold and focused girl, from the few brief memory's Imo has. Because she was not on the ward as a BP survivor with all the rest, Imo assumed she'd died. Pleased to hear through the grapevine she actually survived.
Elke Arma - While they were not really friends despite both being in Leprosy house, Imogen did read her blog 'The Not-So-Secret Life of Elke Arma' though and because of remembering the blog, a quick look on the internet helped her remember Elke quite a bit. Imo was glad that their paths crossed at Crystal some.
Yvette Weaver - Imogen mostly remembers Yvette's clothes, whether she was wearing them or they were just on a models in one of the work rooms at Barren Pines. Another BP survivor from Leprosy house but not well remembered.
Fallon Novette-Naim - An excellent cook and a very nice girl. Imogen liked Fallon (had a crush on her once upon a time in fact) though she always worried she'd set off Fallon's OCD. Imo loved her dorm floor's breakfast club and Fallon was always very generous n' sweet. Scary when angered though. Better remembered from BP and met since. One of Imogen's friends and fellow Crystal students.
Laney Sutton - A sweetheart really, so much so she managed to rope Imogen into being the treasurer of the 2nd Floor Game Night Fundraiser. Imogen didn't know her well nor remember more than her time as treasurer but cried when she heard that Laney was on the Glasgow ward in a deep coma. Hasn't seen since BP but planning to send her flowers at the hospital.
Abeline Froust - She always fought a lot with Lucas Hendricks, who was a boy with the sensitivity of a rock (and that was the truth so that doesn't count as speaking ill of the dead). They fought enough that Imo sort of remembered them both after BP. While Lucas is gone, Abeline is still around and Imogen planned to befriend her if she could. Abe is in Imo's English class at Crystal.
Tara Kavanaugh - Another girl at Barren Pines that Imogen once fancied, though it was kind of from afar. She was lovely and so delightfully quirky for a cheerleader! Not seen since BP and not too well remembered.
Serenade Soriano - Anyone who likes 'Swing de Chocobo' gets good marks in Imogen's books. All Imogen can remember of her from BP is that she played piano really well. Since meeting her anew after BP, she's made an impression of being very sweet.
Jude Lawson - Did not know well but his name is familiar.

 Random Facts:
• Imogen has a twitter account! You can find it here.
• She is a Sagittarius. Imo has the typical traits of a Sagittarian in that she is confident, friendly, loves trying new things and is enthusiastic.
• Sagittarius is the Zodiac sign ruled by Jupiter. That is the planet the moon Carpo revolves around and in the mythology, Jupiter (Zeus) was the father of the horae Carpo.
• The Sagittarian gemstone is turquoise which is also the colour of Imogen's eyes. This gem is thought of as a protective gem that symbolises being honest with yourself about who you are and self impression which Imogen has no problems with. However it's also supposed to help balance emotions which'd help her out a lot.
• The birthstone for November is topaz which is commonly either white or an orange/reddish colour. Topaz is supposed to help with feeling emotions clearly and energizing a person which Imo really doesn't need! However topaz's use for purifying intent and helping choose the right path might come in handy.
• Like in manga (because I couldn't resist) her favourite flowers give a bit of insight to her personality. She likes red poppies which symbolise being fun loving and seeking happiness. Lily of the Valley meanwhile hints at being sweet and trustworthy. Both are autumn flowers.
• Imo as Type O blood. To some this means she is supposed to be outgoing, energetic and social. Type Os are flexible, flighty, value the opinions of others and always say what is on their mind. They are very self confident. This all fits Imo alright so far, however, she doesn't fit the Type O profile completely. While she does go from project to project, shiny new thing to shiny new thing, she does not give up easily like a classic Type O and she is not usually undependable.
• In her past life, Cancer (then a man and a complete playboy) loved it when Carpo visited his outpost...because he secretly held a torch for her! However he'd never admit to anyone that he had a special affection for anyone. Besides he knew his love would have certainly been unrequited since Carpo then was as fond of the ladies as Carpo now. Carpo meanwhile loved Cancer as a very dear friend and never had any clue he liked her.
• Imogen and her best friend Aggie are the only currently known survivors besides the Zodiacs and their Princess and Cat to not have the ability to sense youma. This is because they are (currently) the only two unawakened senshi amongst the student survivors.
• Imogen's maternal grandmother is named Erce, the name of a Celtic autumn goddess.
• Her father's name means 'man' and her mother's means 'lady', to match Imo's 'maiden'.
• Like Flora, the senshi of Spring and a fellow Hand, she only has flashes of memory of her past life. Imo doesn't get a memory download like the Zodiacs did. She will get some images in her dreams and when she meets Chronos & Co, will feel instinctively like she should know the, but other than that...her past life is a mystery to her. The Zodiacs themselves would have a more complete memory of old Carpo than Imo.
