The cuffed man continued past more rubble. It didn't mind him to be walking like this, since he used to travel around by foot with his friends anyway. He began seeing the outskirts of Inaba a ways off. He stopped for a moment and realized that for once, he could go on a journey on his own. Regal knows with the time he spent here that the Chaos Gate could take him to another location, and there are many places he'd visit.

Though for now, he decided it was time to head back to the city. It wouldn't take him long...

tab Kenzan's animalistic nature had his hairs standing on end. Something just did not feel right. But they did have to make a trip to Junes. They needed food and they were on the hunt for Aniki. So no stone left unturned! He couldn't help it, however. As the leader of Team Twilight he had to look out for his teammates. And he certainly couldn't lead them into a sticky situation without verifying it first. But this was Junes. A store. His second-in-command's store. There was no way something was happening inside, right?

If nothing else, he wanted to be sure the others were aware of it. Maybe he was imagining things. If he was, then so be it. But it still bothered him on a primal level, whatever it was.

Cheria frowned a bit as she gazed at the floating island. Learning that people who had lived there had been chased out and having to live on the surface had her feel sorry for them. Hearing Setsuna's question, she glanced over to her for a moment. "I could bet those fakes have something to do with this. Though what could they be after in a place like that?" She looked back at Skyloft.

Yusei could feel it. Though though his training with Yuan, his mana sensing was a novice level, he had been trying to better himself in trying to sense things with his angelic powers. He had joined up with Kenzan, Yosuke, Labrys, Arietta and Laharl to see how they were doing. He needed to make sure his friends were alright. Yusei started to believe his karma on leaving people was showing as people were disappearing on him.

Though he was still learning, the power that he was sensing...well...he doesn't need to use any of it to tell. The air was heavy. It wasn't like when the fog rolled in after three days of rain in this area...no....it was like something was wanting to crush them with the air that they breathe. The power that he was sensing. It was raw and angry. Like an animal. Not so much like Kenzan's animal side...no...it was like something more. Something...familiar...but hidden away in anger and darkness.

"Yes I do..." Yusei narrowed his eyes. "Something's here..." he stared at the store they were going to go into. "Should we try and lure it out or get everyone out and keep it here?" he spoke in low tones. Either way, it was going to be a fight. he looked at the son of the June's owner and hoped he got the idea. Yusei's travels and being with Yuan made him ready...but he wondered still, what was buried in that malice.

Arietta held her doll close to her as she rode on her liger's back. A slight snarl escaped his throat as the hair on its back stood. He too was having an uneasy feeling, and he didn't like it at all. The young God-General looked at her liger brother with concern then turned her attention to Kenzan when he mentioned about the chill in his spine. "He could feel it too..." She said, gesturing to her liger. Though it would seem that Yusei was also having that same feeling as well. She was still grateful that he had helped her back in the TV World three months ago. When he mentioned something was there, she glanced over at the store they were going to go into then back to Yusei. "What do you think it is?" She asked.

Seems like a pleasant day, right? At least until you see a book falling the sky! The book was dark colored with an orb design on either side of the cover, one orb yellow and the other orb red. The book came flying down, smacking someone right in the head. The book bounced off Yusei's crab hair-ike head and onto the ground. The book just fell harmlessly onto the concrete floor, flipping open after it stopped bouncing a bit. The book began to glow and expand in size, a figure soon emerging from it. Wisemon opened his eyes and stepped down from the book, letting it shrink and disappear in a flash.

His first thought was to figure out where he was. He took in the image before him. It seemed somewhat familiar, having been to this place before. He is now back in Inaba. "Interesting..." He muttered to himself. His next question was how he got here. Last he remembered was that he was in Skyloft. Next thing he knew, he blacked out and then found himself back here in Inaba. How trivial. He had become intrigued by this portal or whatever it is that seems to be transporting him to places. How? he did not know. It was kind of like going from Zone to Zone in the Digital World.

Well, he'll learn about these things sooner or later. Right now, he had to figure out where to go. He was glad at least, to be on the ground again and not high up like in Skyloft. He looked around, finding himself not too far from Junes, noticing a few people outside it. Some of them seemed a bit tensed. He strolled his way over, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Excuse me, but what is going on?" He had yet to realize that his book had just hit one of those people in the head. Normally he'd notice stuff like that, but he had been too preoccupied with his own thoughts.

Labrys stared up at Junes. She remembered this place both fondly but sadly. The sad part was mostly for the fact that she took innocent people into the TV World for something she tried to denied. If it wasn't for these people, she wouldn't be alive here in the three months she spent on Iriphos. They wouldn't be alive either. However, Junes was a happy place. It was the first real store she ever went to...well...after all, she did end up in the wonderful floors of Junes when they came out of the TV World.

Now, however, Junes felt different. "I don't like this feeling..." Even though she was a machine, she couldn't help but feel something was gravely wrong. Some so far could tell. It reminded her of when her Shadow appeared. She felt nervous and looked at Yosuke before looking at Yusei, Arietta and Laharl. Kenzan even made note about how he felt. She still couldn't understand how a person could act like a dinosaur. Then again, she had Yusei with wings, Arietta with her liger and then the strange book that fell down and hit Yusei on the head.

"huh?!" she watched as the book hit the concrete and looked up to see who threw it on the crab man's hair. "Who thre--" Before Labrys could finish, the book started to glow and a strange robed man popped out of the book.

"What the...how could you...Humans don't come pop'n out of books!" Labrys was shocked and almost released her axe to try and stop him. He asked what was going on with a curious tone in his voice. She couldn't sense the threatening presence on him. But the guy was weird. His face was shaded under the hood and his eyes were about as yellow as her Shadow's...but it wasn't crazy and full of hatred like the shadow had. No...it was like a curious child. Labrys was confused and she looked at Yosuke, "Please tell me this is normal for this world." She pointed at the cloaked figure.

Ren had been in Lumiose for quite some time now, and was able to learn a lot about the town during his stay here. Every now and then, he had come across these battles called Pokemon battles, and even interrupted a few himself just by cluelessly walking into them. Which led to some angry people yelling at him. THese creatures he'd seen all over he learned were called Pokemon, and people seemed to use them for battles and as pets. He would love to get one for himself, but he was told he had to have something called Pokeballs, which is what stores the Pokemon inside.

He still had his Vanguard deck, and had asked people here if they knew about Vanguard. Not a single person knew what that was, so Ren hadn't been able to fight anyone lately, especially since coming to this world. He still hasn't figured out how he got here. One thing he did find out that was interesting was that he could somehow call his units to this world with Psyqualia, though they seem more like illusions. He found out about this some weeks ago when he was looking at his starting Vanguard card, 'Black Dragon Welp, Vortimer', and his PSyqualia had activated and right before him, Vortimer had emerged, standing firm and ready to strike. Vortimer vanished when he deactivated his Psyqualia and had quickly looked around. He was thankful no one saw that, which might had caused a stir here.

Ren had heard some commotion going on nearby, and he rushed his way over to see what was going on. First he noticed were people dispersing away from the source of the problem. He squeezed his way around to get a better look. He froze at what he saw. A large, black dragon. He stood there in awe, his mouth hung open. "Ooooooohhh, a dragon!" He said to himself. He took a good look at the dragon. It looked like it'd be a unit from the Narukami based on the device that was on it. It could even be a Murakumo unit as well. It was nothing he'd never seen. But as he learned, no one seems to know about Vanguard, and so he figured this dragon was a Vanguard unit from Cray. But perhaps it could be one of those Pokemon he's heard about.

Next he noticed some others near the dragon, who seemed to be trying to help it. His eyes also fell upon the purple pony with wings. He couldn't help but get all excited. "Ahah! A purple unicorn with wings!" He said aloud, running up to Twilight to get a better look. "Whooooaaa, seems so real!" He reached out to try and touch the wings and feel them.

Under normal circumstances, Laharl would be writing off such concerns as baseless. However, even he was feeling uneasy about this. What it was, he wasn't really sure but it definitely felt like something big was about to happen. Yusei brought up the question, do they lure it out or evacuate the store and fight it inside? "I'd say....." He was about to state his opinion when a book came down from the sky and nailed Yusei on the head. The book glowed briefly and a being emerged from it. Labrys asked if this was normal in this world. He figured he'd let Yosuke handle this, she did address him after all.

Ashelin had been deciding what to do. It took a while but they made it to a new, strange city with short buildings. She blinked, there were small talking creatures around this place and it seemed to creep her out a little "Ugh... What the heck are these things?

She looked a bit confused as she would not wait for one of those...things to attack her. She had her hand on a pistol if ready.

Her eyes wondered over at Commander Torn, things would become interesting soon if someone didn't tell her what these creatures was. She wondered what their allies have been doing the last 3 months while they have been gone. "Are you alright, dear?"

Two months since the Enchantress vanished leaving Wiseman with one less person in his arsenal to "persuade" him. Six weeks since Martha had been relocated to a "safer" location for her own health and well-being, and two weeks since Yuan had let some information "slip" to Genis while Wiseman wasn't looking. He'd not seen the full rebound of this event yet, so he gathered the boy turned man was actually smarter than he looked and keeping his thoughts to himself.

tab tab Wiseman will never be able to bring Mithos to you. Don't you find it strange that while you wait for him to do so, he's constantly finding task after task for you to perform, sorceror?

tab tab The words had been chosen so carefully. It wasn't Yuan's first time at pulling this sort of stunt. Break trust with the one whose "easiest" to break, and slowly they'll tear away from rank. Give it time and anyone would find the flaws in the grand plan. He was a pawn and he just needed time to see that for himself. If Yuan could get him to see that, maybe he could get him to help the seraphim out of this corrupted dimensional plane.

His name suggested he be ruler of the organization, but ever so slowly, Wiseman had made motions to put Dark Spectrum in charge. The boy was a natural, fitting in with them all better than he could ever dream. There was no questioning that someday, he would reign over them all as they hopped from planet to planet, destroying one after another, soon to forget about each and every one of those pathetic beings they all once considered allies. They'd each, one-by-one, fallen into his web of lies and deceit. Believing his defense of their weaknesses, when he was in fact exploiting them. Wiseman hovered by the boy as he played, allowing him to finish his piece before interrupting the teen.

tab tab "What ails you, Shadow King? It is not like you to sulk when we have such good reports and progress," Wiseman asked, his tone betraying concern. He would let nothing ruin his plans so far. Including one already in progress. The doppelgangers had observed the nuisance speaking to Chaos Sorceror in passing. It had been some time ago now, but Wiseman thought carefully about it and came to a solid conclusion. His precious sorceror was well at work now, and it wouldn't be long before he'd clip whatever hope Yuan foolishly clung to right in the bud. He'd snuff out whatever light he'd found. No matter what it was, Yuan had to be brought back if they were to use him anymore in their plans.
