ADVENTURE TIME GOING ON AN ADVENTURE, BRB. Ofelia cannot and will not stay still when there is an adventure to be had. Excited and energetic to the point of hyperactivity, there will be no stopping and waiting for this girl. Always eager to get her hands into the different pies out there, or stick her nose into places where it doesn't belong (and likely could get bitten off), she's the kind to jump into an adventure with both feet going first. Stopping to think about something WASTES HER TIME and ruins the chance for the different sections of the adventure to happen, and Ofelia has better things to do then wait (like be on said adventure, pay attention)! Everything is really just waiting to be explored out there and Ofelia's the type to want to see it. Of course she doesn't want to go alone, so she'll always drag someone along (pity them).
CALL ON ME BROTHER Ofelia strives to be loyal, if nothing else. She fancies herself someone that can be counted on in the most dire of situations, right down to placing her life on the line just if someone asked her to do it, and she doesn't back down when pressed to a challenge. She loves to lend support even when it isn't asked for and she'll step up into a leadership position when she thinks the time is right and she thinks her way is going to be awesome and they should totally try it right now. Ofelia also downright adores company, so naturally wanting people to depend on her requires her to be in a large group. Groups are awesome and Ofelia is the back-slapping type in said groups, loud and proud and letting her presence fill the area in more ways than one. She likes to leave an impression, be it good or bad, wherever she goes.
MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY Ofelia doesn't feel like walking when it comes to having it her way or the highway. Unwilling to be wrong, even when presented with cold hard facts, Ofelia moves beyond stubborn to just plain pig-headed. Her opinion and her ideas are all that matter to her no matter how hard you tell her the truth about something, and it'll take a warm day in Hell to make her admit that she might be a little mistaken. She's well past the age where people can say that her ignorance is bliss, instead leaving many to walk away from conversations with her having bad tastes in their mouths. She's hard to understand and even harder to anger, giving herself or her challenger plenty of time to give up. It takes a lot to make the young woman eat crow or humble pie but it's not an impossible feat, just one that it seems no one has yet to accomplish.
AS OF INTERMEDIATE TRAINEE
Ofelia has grown a bit more paranoid about everything around her and maybe is starting to notice boys. Maybe. She went through a serious period of denial that ultimately lead to a severe case of depression brought about by her refusal to admit to things. She still is in massive denial about many, many things, however it is getting better and she's starting to focus more on the future rather than the past.
A streak of occasional cruelty is starting to show itself along with large sado-masochistic tendencies.

USELESS, USELESS Rue hates you, the shoes you wear, and the clothing you like. If it weren't for the fact that she was stuck with her current hunter she'd probably have run away from her situation, but seeing as she's a set of brass knuckles she can't. So...she's taken up to extreme bouts of verbal battery, her poor partner the target of everything. Rue didn't like how something was handled? Prepare to be berated for an hour. Rue just not feeling like being decent? Prepare for your ancestors to be cursed in as many languages as Rue can recall. Rue has no love lost for her partner and isn't afraid to admit it. Loud verbal screeches easily decorate the wee hours when Rue isn't pleased, and when she is pleased verbal assault is still very likely. Just not with as much cursing.
OH DO GO ON Weak to flattery, Rue loves to be praised be it directly or indirectly. Her partner must always keep her clean and neat, just in case a handsome looking man happens along (who cares if he can't hear her voice, looking at her isn't a crime), and Rue is always full of cooing and praise over the weapons around her that she knows (via her partner's telling) happen to be male. Her only regret is having a female partner, the worst thing in her life. Men are the only things that are capable of showing Rue how amazing she is and understanding her for the kind and sensuous pair of brass knuckles that she is.
BLOODFEAR IS BEAUTIFUL Unless she's immersed in a battle, Rue is vulgar and loud and biting. When in a battle and coated in FEAR (and blood), Rue's other self seemed to come out. Moaning and groaning with delight, she practically goes erotic for FEAR and the feelings that come with it. Once she's had a taste of FEAR she gets drunk on it, demanding more, and until she's had her fill she'd downright intolerable. Overdosing and getting crazy are not uncommon events either, and a detoxing Rue is a Rue to be avoided like the plague. |
