The combined what the ******** ratio of Gnat's statement about her love of sports and Jordan's efforts to negotiate in Allan-speak finally broke Rep and he cracked up into laughter, even as he did though edging apologetically closer to Jordan, when he finally got himself under some semblance of control adding in a not-so-hushed whisper through the suppressed giggles.
"I can't control my body, I might need your help."

Jerry was still sweating bullets. He glanced over to the new arrival with the apprehension and intensity of a man about to walk a tightrope over a pool of sharks on account of the man with a gun urging him along.
In this case, the man with a gun was also in a frilly anime-themed apron.
"Ah... h-hello!" Yes, those were words. And proper logical words to use in a situation like this. He was proud of himself.

"Then you'll fit in right with us!" Allan addressed the newbie's outburtst first, grinning ear to ear. "Come on in, have a seat, no need to be shy! There is enough pocky for everyone, and then afterwards" His eyes quivered in excitement, just a little bit, "We can watch One Piece together!"
Next, after he and many others had warmly greeted the newbie, the Sun lead addressed Jordan's proposal. "Attack planning... Thinking...." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Are you sure you don't just want to hit things Jordan-kun, it's much easier that way. Ha! Caelius-chan once told me it was impossible to overcome the horsemen base in Thailand without strategy, but those did not deter my WILL! I used my WILL and kokoro and blasted right through the horsemen in Thailand and the place with the tigers, and the place where we har smores afterwards, and I did that because I didn't think!"
Allan, was this really something you wanted to advocat-
-"Err," The Sun Lead corrected, suddenly feeling a little guilty, "However, Jordan-kun if that is your ambition and what your kokoro tells you to do then I will give you my blessing, our blessings to do it. Knowing the enemy is important to learning its weaknesses, and the other half is experience and of course your WILL. Simon-kun will know better than me the uh, thinking part, though I think your work will be extremely useful to many divisions. Fight well, Jordan-kun, as a nakama and Sun Hunter, and bring us the key to victory with your WILL!"
He paused. And then Allan gave Jordan the closest thing the Sun Lead could ever pull off as mischievous. "Why Jordan-kun, I didn't know you had it in you!" Wait a second- did Allan just-
-"THEN I SINCERELY WELCOME JORDAN-KUN THE PLANNER, UNOFFICIAL HEALER OF THE KOKORO!"
He clapped loudly, interrupting that particular train of thought. OOC Any Sun hunters can still propose. It is now or never!

Oh hell oh hell oh hell it was his turn. He clapped quietly for Jordan as Allan made his proclamation- leave it to Jordan to be practical and useful and perfect. He drew in a deep breath, glancing at the new girl a moment before, red faced, he stood and cleared his throat. "Ah... as... as you probably know I've um. Been helping the labs out with er... testing new equipment." Another nervous fidget as he picked at a burn mark on his scarf, "I ah... thought i could gather a group of new recruits once this next batch passes first level testing and we could... you know... have a game. Like capture the flag only there's ah.... a chance the guns will explode ahahaha. It could help with their endurance- Moons aren't always there to back us up, you know? Ahahaha... um. Unless you er... had any er... better suggestions for me? I'm not exactly tactical. I mean, I could take down a bridge if we needed but... I'd like to help the new recruits too, sir." He glanced to Jordan again, wondering when they should bring up their other project.

Rep all but revelled in the sun lead's enthusiasm and gave Jordan a cheshire cat sort of smile. Someone was going to hear that bestowed title a lot.

Someone was going to get smacked.
Jordan nodded to Jerry's glance - they'd bring it up after individual proposals were taken care of. At the moment, he was still busy trying not to visibly embarrassed about the being teased part of the whole thing.

Ofelia came staggering into the meeting way later than everyone else, as in the meeting was practically over by the time she got there, yet the grin on her face said she could give less of a s**t.
The blood all over her clothing and streaked a bit on her face also drove that point home as she raised a hand in greeting to everyone inside.
"Howdy guys, sorry Ah'm late. Was...trainin'. Did Ah miss much'a anythin'?" It seemed like whatever it was had involved laughter, some new people, and a bunch of the sun hunters in their fancy jackets. Also clapping and Allan being Allan which was really good.
She'd managed to hit the end of whatever it was Jerry was proposing and she took one of the guides or papers or whatever and skimmed it over. Ideas for things, specializations? She might have pretended to read something like that earlier on her phone but then again it had a lot of words and Ofelia didn't have time for that. She needed to go out and hit things and make it all better. Perhaps that was something she could do except for that she didn't really have any good idea of what she was capable of. Ofelia considered herself an excellent meat shield who had no problem taking hits and somehow surviving but was that really something she needed to focus on? She also liked going into the haunted house and tearing apart anyone who so much as looked at her wrong as of late.
Maybe that was something she could focus on too, but how would she bring that up. "What all are we talkin' 'bout?" It was always easier to ask and Ofelia was already TL;DR'ing the notes and plans with their words and stuff.

"Jerry-kun," And there went the obligatory Allan Pat on the Shoulder, "You are destined for great things, never stop believing in yourself! If you want to help by testing equipment then you must follow your kokoro and remember your will as a Sun Hunter! Fight and show them what you're made of! Make them proud of their work and of you! You can do it if you believe and search deeply into your imagination zone." Allan beamed, slapping Jerry heartily on the back. "You might look tiny on the outside but I'm sure inside you have the kokoro of a lion! I hereby announce you Jerry-kun of the hidden kokoro tribe." Allan fished around on the counter before handing Jerry a simple wooden trinket, a small rune that glowed upon contact, shaped like a pendant tied on a necklace. "A good luck charm." Allan winked.
"Ofie-chan!" The Sun lead had changed topics already, thanks to his increasingly short attention span as he gave the new arrival a bear hug. "How have you been? Are you here to channel your kokoro to tell Allan-taichou your duty, a duty you must create! Only by bein responsible can you grow! Responsibility is like a pet kitten that needs your love and help, and you must extend yourself out to them in any way possible!" Rown See first post for OOC assistance in project proposing! Bilious Jerry got a small protection pendant. This can only be used on Deus. Equipment Jerry tests have less of a chance of backfiring (if it is about to backfire/ if he fails/ he can roll a 100-sided dice, where applicable. If he rolls 50 or higher, he the tested equipment does not backfire for another turn)

Jerry's face flushed at the sudden nickname proclamation- it wasn't the worst, at least. He still could only theorize what Kokoro really meant. He supposed it was something deeper than a direct literal translation could convey. Japanese mumbo jumbo, but a heartfelt compliment all the same. He accepted the pendant, running a thumb over the soft glowing rune before slipping it around his neck to hang just above Roar's whistle form. "Ah... thank you, sir! I ah... can definitely use the luck." He smiled weakly before glancing to Ofie and paling.
What on Earth was that girl up to that she always seemed soaked with blood? Was she busy gutting puppies? She was a full Hunter too now, wasn't she? He would have thought her Fear Shield would have sorted itself out by now, but every time he seemed to see her she looked like she had just stumbled out of a murder scene. Suddenly he felt a bit silly for being worried about his own assessment. He at least had the brain to shower, shave, and put on clean clothes before stepping in to be judged by their superiors. Morbid Curiosity, perhaps, made him wonder just what Ofie would specialize in.
Testing was fun, though.... more or less. Alright, sometimes it was awful and horrific but at the end of the day, there was this.... feeling of accomplishment he felt when he walked out of the testing facility and flopped on his own bed. A level of focus and tunnel vision that boiled the world down into simple objectives: Get through this and don't get hurt. He'd gotten hurt plenty so far, but nothing a good shower, flop, rest and a Fear Shield couldn't fix. He felt alive. He drank in the immediate gratification of leaving with all of his fingers intact. How would he explain it to the trainees when the time came?
A song was definitely in order.
Quietly, he took his seat by Jordan again, still looking thoughtfully down at his new good luck charm.

"Well sure, Ah guess? Also Ah've never had a pet b'for so dunno much 'bout that." Ofelia never really had plans for her future at Deus. She always assumed that one day she'd end up dead on a mission, killed by whatever they hunted or by a fellow hunter because they could get away with it, so she didn't exactly plan far ahead. There were a list of things she liked doing but she wasn't really sure if any of them had to do with much of anything that a Sun Hunter was supposed to do?
The list rolled in her mind. "Lesse....Ah really like goin' inta the Haunted House an' findin' the rooms an' fightin' whatever happens ta be in 'em. S'good way ta keep tabs on the students over there in a manner'a speakin'." That was one thing she liked and seemed more or less legit. She'd come from an exploration right into the meeting actually and that sort of explained her appearance. Sort of. Also Jerry's looking at Ofelia netted him a wide grin from the teen, one that seemed to split her face in two. Howdy Jerry, Ofelia was always pleased to see you.
"Ah also really like cookin' an' bakin' though Ah dunno how that'd help anyone out? It'd be fun ta learn ta cook wit' FEAR kinda like Julie was doin' or what she's got listed in somma her books." That was another option as Ofelia took down a notebook and scribbled something inside of it. The cookbook she'd gotten that had Julie's notes and some recipies in it would be really fun to try and work out - but only if she could manage to get enough people to test the meals. Also she'd need an ample supply of FEAR and even though she could harvest minipets it didn't sound as much fun. Minipets didn't really fight back so it was like ...kicking a puppy. Some of them were even puppy shaped and that was sad.
"Or Ah don't really mind bein' sent on missions wit' low or high success rates. Ah like adventures." That was all she could think of, really. Just as she'd thought before, Ofelia had no idea what she wanted to do with her life and even though she was now a full Hunter it seemed like all she did to pass her time was cripple newbies, punch things, and bake.

Guns that exploded?
Before Gnat could even comment, another hunter stumbled into the room - this time covered in more blood than a murder victim in a slasher fic - and no one even reacted. She stared at the new arrival, slightly openmouthed, as she carried on as if nothing was amiss.
Finally, she couldn't help herself. "I hope you wash your hands before you cook anything." A pause. "I think I saw a shower down the hall, just so you, uh, know."
A longer pause.
"I'd use a lot of soap. Or bleach." She wrinkled her nose for emphasis.

"Oho!" Allan proclaimed, giving Ofie another hearty pat. It was a good thing Simon wasn't paying attention or the Sun assistant might have been really disappointed at his hard work working out that carpet earlier. "We have ourselves an explorer, a wanderer of the kokoro." The Sun lead nodded solemnly. "A good team, especially during searches involves a dedicated Sun Hunter, one who is not afraid to use their courage, power, and strength to be there for their teammates. You will find good experience being that team member others can always rely on, Ofie-chan, spread your wings and open your kokoro to everyone! Only then can you level up and one day obtain true bankai!"
Allan scratched his chin. "I think you should find a good Moon Hunter to be your team buddy, Ofie-chan but otherwise your proposal sounds one-hundred percent super awesome duper kakkoi! I hereby prounouce you Ofelia of the Brave Exploration Super Awesome Discovery and Offensive Combat team! Make your taichou proud!"
Pleased with himself, Allan nodded several times, crossing his arms more introspection than anything else. If one could read his thoughts, and even if one couldn't, it was pretty obvious he was very proud of himself. "Nothing like a hard day's worth of work!" He nodded, agreeing to himself again. "If there is anyone who wishes to speak their kokoro as well, Allan-taichou is here for you." Ooc This is now open for ANY Sun Hunters OR Trainees who also want to do a project!

Hunters covered in blood, and specifically Ofie covered in blood, was nothing terribly new or alarming; anyone injured badly enough for it to be their own blood would likely be on their way to the infirmary already, so a mess like this was just that: a mess. Simon would probably be upset about it later, Jordan reflected; if he was going to be talking to Simon, he'd better schedule it so that the Sun assistant had had time to relax somewhat. Not that he was sure that Simon ever relaxed, but there were times when talking to him was likely to be more hazardous than others. Allan was opening the meeting for further discussion; this would be a good time to mention the project. "Allan-taichou," Jordan spoke up again. "I'd like to mention that Jerry and I are working on clearing out the old schoolhouse down in the town, with the intention to fix it up as a lounge and offices for the division as a whole. Anyone who wants to help out is welcome to do so. Uh, though I'm requesting that weapon summoning inside the building be kept to a minimum so we have less to fix up." Everyone present If your character wants to help with the project, contact Jordan or Jerry - quote or PM me or Bilious~

Jerry brightened up considerably as Jordan put forth the proposal, adding in with some enthusiasm, "It's a bit boobytrapped still, we'll probably want some help from the other divisions if anyone has friends that wouldn't mind helping out! But I don't think it's anything we can't handle!" the hunter beamed, straightening his glasses. "And er... beyond that too, anyone who wants to donate any paint or cleaning products and the like would be an angel to our budget!"
