Jordan~ He and the two took positions. He listened closely, he heard multiple footsteps. From the sound of it, it sounded like people. "Calm down, they're not Lurkers." He whispered. He aimed his gun down the tunnels. He indicated them to turn off their lights. He managed to get a glimpse at the figures, they were people with guns. He took a few steps forward then whispered loudly. "Halt..... As-salamu alaykum."

".....Alaikum salam..." Responded the figure.

Jordan~ He put away his gun. He whispered over to Dusk and Hiro, he told them they were friendly.

Dusk just hated lurkers. She wasn't scared of them just greatly disliked them. She turned off the flashlight and kept it off. She stuck it in her belt. She then took off her sunglasses. She was able to see in the dark unlike the others due to her hieghted senses. She kept her pistols even though she was told they were friendly. She didn't want anything taking her by surprise.

Jordan~ It appeared they encountered a group of fellow soldiers. They were searching the sewers for any survivors and supplies. They managed to find only one survivor, the only supplies they could find were some engineering tools, a few packages of snack cakes and some unopened water bottles. "Not much, but it'll have to do." He whispered. He then proceeded to lead them back to the camp.

Hiro~ On the way back, he noticed how one of the soldiers seemed to be breathing quickly. "What's wrong?" He quietly asked, he also felt nervous around the soldier.

Soldier~ "Ah...ah.... Allergies." He whispered. He was trying to hold in his sneeze and was losing. "I felt fine earlier."

Dusk followed behind with her pistols out she kept her flashlight on her belt. She was fine without using it. She put her sunglasses back because everyone else's flashlights were hurting her eyes. She wondered what in the world the solider could be allergic to down here.

Soldier~ He closed his nose with his fingers and held the sneeze down. After a while, it died down. It appeared he was reacting to some mold that was growing. He breathed slowly and continued his way... Then his allergies kicked into full gear. He covered his mouth and nose with his hands. He sneezed quietly. The group stopped for a moment. ".... Sorry.... I'm okay." He whispered. Unfortunately, him covering his sneeze was not enough. He heard the sound of paws against the ground... Coming towards him. He turned and was met with a loud screech. A Lurker came and jumped at him. It bit hard at his jugular, killing him instantly.

Dusk heard it coming. She shoot the lurker in the head. She hadn't been fast to save the man because the lurker's screeched had hurt her ears. She then held her ears after killing it. She was hissing in pain. That was why she hated lurkers. Their loud screeches hurt her ears due to her heightened hearing.

Jordan~ Because of this mishap, he heard dozens of more screeches throughout the sewers. "Dammit... Run!" He told the group to run as fast as possible to the camp. He was going to lead them to a security checkpoint where they could handle the lurkers.

Hiro~ He knew he would have to fight... He didn't like it. He protect the rear and hold off any enemies. He could almost see them in the distance. He grew more and more afraid until he gasped, closed his eyes and then opened them. They seemed to be burning with fire, however, there was a hint of rage in his eyes. "Dusk... Give me covering fire." He grabbed a long stick which he held over his shoulder. He pushed a button, it unfolded into a large scythe. He held it tightly with one hand.

The screeches kept hurting her ears. She quickly pulled the headphones over them. She ran with them. She then saw what Hiro said. She couldn't hear him due to the headphones but she was able to read lips. She aimed her pistols and gave him the cover fire he requested. She hoped he wasn't going to do something stupid. She shot them in the heads and never even shot him once. She took her sunglasses off her eyes. She was ignore the pain she was in. She wouldn't be surprised if her ears were bleeding a bit.

Hiro~ Several Lurkers appeared and charged at the group. Hiro ran forward and spun his scythe around in circles. He was decapitating them one by one. Also, they never got to him thanks to Dusk's covering fire. He grew angrier as he killed them without mercy. One tried attacking him from behind, but he quickly turned and swung his scythe upwards. It went through it's bottom jaw and impaled it through the head. It struggled for a bit then died. He pulled out the scythe and went towards one Lurker that was wounded. It was afraid of him. It tried to escape but two of it's legs had been cut off. Hiro grabbed it by the nose and forced its mouth open. His free hand was then covered in blue flames. "Burn in Hell." He threw his hand forward and shot out blue flames into its mouth. It screeched in pain as its insides burned and choked on the fire. Within moments, the fire burst out of its body, all that was left was a burning corpse that gave off a horrible smell. Hiro turned around and looked at Dusk. His eyes still showed signs of anger.

Dusk put her pistols away and ran over to Hiro. She wrapped her arms around him. "Calm down Hiro. Please calm down they are all gone. No one was hurt. They are gone now." She told him. She was lying about no one was hurt because her ears were hurt. She didn't take off her headphone otherwise he would see her ears were bleeding. She held onto him till he was calm once more.

Hiro~ He gasped when Dusk hugged him. His eyes then returned to normal and he nearly fell over. His body felt weak. He turned around and saw the mutilated bodies. "It... It happened again." He was aware of his fits of anger and it scared him.

Dusk looked at him. She then turned him away from the bodies. "You don't need to worry. You have me as your partner I will make sure you don't hurt anyone. Besides you saved us from them. You did something good Hiro." She reassured him.

Hiro~ He nodded... Soon, the group reached their destination. After passing through a security checkpoint, they made it to the camp.



Jordan~ He looked over at Hiro and Dusk. "I have to go for a moment. My boss wants to speak with me, why don't the two of you relax for a while?"

Hiro~ "Shouldn't we go with you for debriefing?"

Jordan~ "Leave that to me, you two deserve a break."

Dusk was glad they got back to camp. She went and dropped off the supplies she had carried that they had gathered. She was making sure to avoid crowds in camp. She didn't do well with crowds anymore. She sat down in an area not a lot of people were at and took out a first aid kit. She took off her headphones and tried to attend to her ears.

Hiro~ He went over to Dusk and sat next to her. He noticed how her ears were bleeding. "Do you need help with that?" During his days in training when he first became a Nephilim, he worked with her a lot. He saw her as one of the few people he could open himself up to.
