Hunt shook his head but held his hands to his chest. "Mimmos saay...mo...hurh.." (Minnos say no hurt). Dusk frowned and crossed his arms. "Minnos will be mad if you get hurt. Just because this weirdo doesn't get that VOLCA DOESN'T LIKE GIRLS. ESPECIALLY UGLY ONES." He mocked, sticking his tongue out. "Why don't you go out with Abby if she's so sad?" The large Haunter frowned, "Pease...Yuh are weah...an... Luuh...you shouh...mo hehher.... You are...more...han...hes." He looked to the other now, his deep crimson eyes begging him to see his way. Hunt knew almost every Gijinka that passed by the island, he remembered wrapping the other's foot when he sprained it long ago. "We...Haf...ho..halh." He begged, "We are ah..rehssohmable pohe..mon." (Please you are weak, and luc you should know better, you are more than this. We have to talk, we are reasonable pokemon.)

"Don't talk about her like that!" Luc growled again, his anger rising as Dusk fed it. Volca on the other hand, listened to his brothers, more so Hunt. He went over what Hunt had said, he never got the hang of Hunt's broken speech and he never really had time to learn sign language properly. "Reasonable?! I don't think Volca even knows what that means!" Luc growled again, lowering his fists only slightly. Volca lowered his head, his eyes on Hunt's and the squeezed gloves between them and his as he stayed silent.

He knew Dusk and Hunt wheren't wrong. Minnos would be upset if he did get hurt. Though as he was about to confront Luc, he wasn't going to fight back. Their words made Volca realize he shouldn't fight with Luc. So what was he supposed to do? He didn't want Luc to torture himself over what he had done but he couldn't let himself enter the situation as it stood.

"Talk?" Volca murmured, Hunt had been giving him the answer the whole time. Volca's hands gave a quiver as Volca pressed himself against Hunt. Volca had to think it through, he'd gone through a bit in his time in the forest facing abuse by humans. Now he was living on an Island full of them. He recalled Hunt's words, saying they where all reasonable pokemon. Were they really pokemon?

Volca glanced over his shoulder towards Luc then back to Hunt. Who was a pokemon? Who was human? Volca couldn't seem to distinguish the two of them anymore since he got on the Islands.

Pressing himself further into Hunt, Volca began to quiver, slipping his hands from Hunt's, Volca covered his ears as tears began to form and roll down his cheeks. "I can't-I can't-"

"There he goes again...." Luc watched as Volca began his usual routine. "He always does this!" Luc lowered his fists now, taking a step back even. "What does she even see in you?!" He kept growling, this time more frustratingly. "For the love of Arceus! For once I though you'd act like a man and face me! But no-Instead- You keep doing--This!" Luc gestured to the shut down state Volca would enter. "Ooo-You piss me right off!!"

Dusk snarled and threw his arms up. "Leave him alone! So what if that's how he is?! He's more man than you! Instead of trying to force something that can't possibly work out, you should be trying to help your friend. If you cared half as much as you say you do then you would help her get over this crush, not stand here and try and tear apart someone's love for something that could never amount to it. Not everyone has to fight for things..." He looked to Hunt, before giving a hard swallow. "And you know sometimes you need the smart guys to tell you that. But Hunt is right. Think about it Luc. What kind of relationship is it going to be if you force it? Especially with how Volca is, not that there's anything wrong with him, but it just wouldn't work. You talk about Arceus a lot, yet you can't accept he has different plans for Abby." Dusk gently grabbed Volca's arm, steadying him. "Look. I'm sorry I was a bit hotheaded and scared your friend. And called that other girl ugly. But fighting isn't going to help. Now. You can stay away, or you can learn to be friendly. We have to clean our room thanks to you. If you do want to be friends, then you can meet us in the art room later." Hunt sighed, thank Arceus that Dusk finally understood. He was quite tired from talking, as someone who didn't talk often. He gave one final glance of pity to Luc before grabbing Volca's other arm and leading him away.

Luc seem to keep fuming but at least his kept his tongue bit. He watched the others leaves with an angry glade. He crossed his arms as the others left and kicked some dirt up in frustration. "It's not right! Pokeman with a human..." he grumbled with a low tone. He raised a hand and gripped the back of his neck as he headed towards where he'd last seen Yanna. He rubbed the back of his neck as he gave their words some thought. Even if he was stubborn he wasn't stupid. The thought of him chasing after Abby hadn't particularly crossed his mind before.

He was jealous of her crush, no doubt about it but now that he thought about it in that way. He had a bit too much ego to after Abby himself. He then paused, finding something odd about what Dusk had said about Volca. Reaching into a pocket, he pulled out a folded piece of paper and unfolded it. Inside there was a drawn image of a cocoon by what looked like a waterfall with a single word at the bottom.

Thilla

He folded it and put it back into his pocket before coming up to the crate he thought Yanna was hiding in. He lifted the top and peered in, "Let's go get Abby... There's been a change... of events..." He grumbled still somewhat angry.

User ImageOnce they returned to their room, Volca tears had dried but he was still clearly distressed. His hands shaked as he cleaned and he kept silent. The first things he started to clean was the pencils, finding most of them had broken tips from being tossed onto the floor and then went to pic up the papers which most of them had been crumpled. After he would go pick up his clothing and fix the beds if they hadn't been fixed yet. Once finished, Volca moved to his bed and curled under his blanket along with his pillow which he hugged tightly between his knees and chest.

Dusk let out a few deep breaths to calm himself before following the others into the room. He helped pick up the bigger messes, while Hunt hovered near Volca, his eyes furrowed in worry. When Volca curled into the bed, he gently reached out and touched him, rubbing his back with his large hand easily. "You....ahrigh?" (You alright?). Dusk sighed and laid back into the bed, exhausted. Soon his soft snores could be heard from beneath the covers, tuckered out from the excitement of the day.

"I'll be okay." Volca's voice came out muffled from being under the blankets. "Thank you Hunt." Lifting a part of his blanket, he peered out to see Dusk laying in his bed, he shifted now so that his head was uncovered. "You think they'll leave me alone now?" Volca asked with unease as he looked up to Hunt. Pulling out his pillow so he could put his head on it he reached out for Hunt's other hand and gently tugged at it as he made room for Hunt on the bed. "Can I get my gloves back?" He asked with a soft voice as he gave Hunt another tug to come in with him.

Hunt smiled and snuggled in with the other, draping his large hands about his form. He leaned up again however to grab Volca's gloves and hand them over, thinking. "I...hink so. Husk...may..a..'hood..speech." (I think so. Dusk made a good speech). He nuzzled the other before getting himself as comfortable as he could in the small bed, also feeling like a nap was in order. After a quick snooze however, Hunt would silently disappear, and reappear, with armfuls of paints and clay and paper. He knew Volca wanted to make something for Minnos the next day, and the art teacher had been kind enough to lend him her tools. Especially since she was a specialist from the nursery back on their home island.

Volca snuggled into Hunt once was finished moving around. Volca's hands holding the old gloves tightly as he closed his eyes for a nap too. Volca found great comfort that he was finally able to share his bed, even if it was just his brother, here on this Island. Volca hated it here but he was putting up with it since Minnos' asked him too. Sure he was learning here but he'd rather stay beside Minnos, if he could.

As Hunt vanished, Volca quickly noticed the absence of heat and nearly bolted awake. Leaning up, his eyes darted around looking for Hunt. Sitting up now, pressing his back up against the wall head sinking into his shoulders as he became upset with Hunt's sudden disappearance. Once Hunt reappeared Volca, disregarding what Hunt had brought, he bounded from his bed to wrap unsteady arms around Hunt. Tightly resting his chin onto Hunt's shoulder and pressing the side of his head against his.

After a small moment he tightened his grip around him before letting go. Volca rubbed some invisible tears off his cheek before finally noticing where Hunt had gone off too. "Thank you Hunt." Volca smiled forcefully, yet sincerely, he reached out to grab some of the things to help lighten Hunt's load. "You brought a lot of things-We'll make something big!" Volca chuckled bit painfully as he tried rubbing away some more of his 'tear's'.

Hunt let out a concerned noise, seeing Volca upset. Dusk woke up with all the noise, grumbling. Hunt let out a happy croon and placed the rest of the items on the floor, before looking to the other. "Wah.. Shouh.. We... Maay?" He tilted his head, excited. Dusk drifted over, wrapping an arm around his waist and waiting for instructions also.

Volca moved from the bed to sit on his heels as he looked over the material. "Hm-Let's see." Reaching for the clay he gave it a look over wondering if he could split it into three pieces equally. Putting his gloves on the bed then reaching over he did just so and handed Hunt and Dusk their pieces. "Let's make miniature us'!" Volca nodded. "So Minnos can keep them." Volca's smile twisted slightly with sorrow.

"We can paint them too. Hunt brought us a lot!" He motioned the two to take a seat as he explained how to mold the clay to soften it, he wasn't sure if Dusk knew how but he was sure Hunt had some knowledge. "We can make him some welcome cards too." Shifting now, Volca took a seat with crossed legs as he began to mold a stick figure from the clay. "We can add paper to make clothing! There's a lot we can do."

Dusk picked up some of the paper, "I'll color in the clothes then." He grabbed some paint, and skillfully began to paint the entire paper with the patterns on their clothes. Hunt's hands, though good for kneading the clay and making it soft, were absolutely horrid at crafting anything small. He pouted as the beginning of a body snapped for the third time in his large claws, giving a frustrated sigh. Dusk was finished with the clothes and letting the paint dry, and was about to start on the welcome sign. Instead he switched with Hunt, taking the gloves off his hands and easily making their two figures.

Volca's smile began to soften as they worked on their project together. After the clay was molded after them, Volca moved to his chest of things and searched for his roll of tape and scissors. After they dressed the clay figurines, Volca helped with the welcome sign adding a few details, like hearts, puffins and stars. Once they finished everything, Volca sat back and admired their work.

"Should we put them in Minnos' room?" Volca asked with a joyful tone as he sat from his bed with the blanket thrown on his shoulders. Sitting with his knees to his chest and arms tightly wrapped around his legs.

Hunt cleaned up everything, putting it into a box for later and grabbing another box to put the figurines in before tying it with a bow. Dusk smiled, "Sure! I'll go take it there right now! You guys should get cleaned up..you have paint on your nose Volca!" He giggled, grabbing the box and drifting off happily. His mood had slowly lifted, and he found that it was nice that he finally had bonding time with Volca, who he assume didn't like him too much. Hunt grinned and wiped off his face, going with the other to the bathroom. "We shouh...hou..up..heh..sigh..wheh..he..homes.." (We should hold the up sign when he comes.) He said happily, turning on the faucet to wash his large hands and face.

The group of three were waiting in the art room, two of them waiting patiently, while Luc was off to the side sulking angrily to himself. Yanna was sitting down, sipping at a large bottle of juice through a straw. Abby was half sitting on a desk, leaning with arms gently crossed her self nibbling on a snack. She seemed to be talking rather excitedly about something to Yanna, who simply listened smiled and nodded now and then.

Volca was also cleaning himself up, in the sink next to Hunt. "All right." Volca was smiling softly. He seemed in deep thought as he kept on washing his hands slowly under the running water. Was Dusk always this nice to me? Volca couldn't help but recall how Dusk stood up for him and helped them quite a bit with the crafting. He recalled how Dusk even pushed Abby on the boat. Was that all-really for me? Thinking back now, even if Hunt's words where only echoed through Dusk, the other ghost seemed to hold true feelings of frustration when Volca was troubled.

Looking up to Hunt, his eyes seemed to be filling with anxiety. "Dusk-he's-" Volca held back the words he wanted to say. The feeling of something sinking into his throat put him off his train of thought. Looking back down to his hands, he wasn't sure why he couldn't bring himself to ask Hunt if Dusk would never betray him(Hunt) Volca didn't like this glob that felt stuck in his throat. It made him feel like he was in the wrong and often appear when he was being bullied.

With a soaked hand, Volca brought his arm up, his fingers gently curling around his throat. "It feels weird." Volca sounded odd, his voice pitched high and his eyes started to water. "There's a ball in my throat right now...It only happens when I feel troubled..." Glancing towards Hunt now. "Does Hunt get this too, sometimes?"

The large Haunter regarded the other curiously, tilting his head to the side. "Somehimes...whem I feeh..worrieh.." He finished clean up and sat on the edge of his bed, loosening the buttons of his jacket and relaxing again. "Wha you say ahouh...Husk?" He smiled then, just the thought of his mate making him happy. "Im...Had...he is...heing hice..oh you.... He has...harh..hime..haking...friehs.." (I'm glad he s being to you. He has a hard time making friends.)
