Mine was Final Fantasy VII. (Dang, I feel old now.) I remember my little brother was having trouble defeating a boss on the first disc so I decided to give it a try and ended up getting hooked. X'D Then it was VIII and onto IX when it came out.

Final Fantasy VII on playstation 1 was the first FF that i've played' followed by Final Fantasy X then Final Fantasy X-2 then Final Fantasy XII mrgreen

The first one I played was X, but the first one I beat was IV.

VIII was my first. My older sister bought it and I got addicted. That's where it all began. Hahaha.
From there I played VII and IX.
I played 10, but bleck... it wasn't that great a game.
I have never played XI.
And I have never played XII because I didn't have a system to play it on at the time.
And now XIII is like my favorite of all time. Well, really a toss up from XIII and VIII.

The first one I played was Final Fantasy VII, but that's mostly because my dad couldn't find Final Fantasy IX, which I wanted more. Final Fantasy IX was the one that I enjoyed the most when I finally got it, though.

Final Fantasy III (VI) for the SNES, I do believe that was my first RPG too. I remember staying up all night on the weekends to play it.
