What does it take for you to ignore

I think I have been ignored? Not sure who or why, but I saw some blocked thread on the cb at some point . I didn't care enough to find out :d
And I have never used the ignore option, again is just not in me to care that much. Plus even when i have fights with people here I pretty much forget about it very quickly, is a virtue of being very bad remembering names/usernames xD
So if someone hates me, for whatever reason, please don't be surprised if at some point I end speaking with you as if nothing ever happened, I really don't remember dramallama

Last time I ignored someone was about half a year ago when they had the gall to steal my profile... graphics and all.
I really don't use it though because in the forums I frequent, it doesn't help much.

While I do see the functionality and necessity of such a feature on a social media site, it's kind of really annoying when people use it to block you for no good reason. For example, I found out someone whom I did not know blocked me the other day, and when I looked up their post history to see where I had interacted with them, it was only through one post... where I was answering a question they had asked ( = 3 = ) ;; "I was just answering your question. Why'd you Ignore me?"

I only use it when either:

Someone makes an offensive statement to me (ofc I report before I ignore)

or

When I get in an argument with someone/someone tries to start an argument with me and I don't want to get myself upset over someone who wouldn't have the bravery to say the garbage to my face.

I have probably been ignored, but in the 1k=1g charity and it was probably mutual and a part of the things I said above. I don't find myself using it now (then again, less people so it seems less bad people)

Huh-- I remember that feature (haven't used it recently or in a long while). Generally I use it if i'm being bothered by said person consistently or if they just irk me real bad. After maybe half a year or more I purge my ignore list-- granted that's just 'cuz I don't really have many people on that list.

I don't have many people on ignore. Just the usual, spammers, beggars. But I do have a couple people in which whenever I see them post in a thread, it's negativity and feels like they are trying to stir s**t up. So I just preemptively put them on ignore so I don't groan reading it.

It usually takes a lot before I put someone on ignore but recently it's just seems like that tolerance is lower so yeah.

I just checked my ignore list after a few years. I noticed most of them were trolls and spammers. There are a couple of idiots in there and a few assholes I rather not see again.

Spam/gore/porn trolls get banned if they're prevalent enough that I see them in multiple threads or are taking up half a forum's threads/basically are overly intrusive.

Other than that, I added the mules of some dumb shibe who tried to scam me and then came back to my art shop after getting banned on her main.

I ignore those that ruin my enjoyment of the forums.

Something about them rubs me the wrong way and they are found detestable enough for an ignore.

I don't post in the forums enough to see people I'd want to ignore.
I've never ignored someone on here; And even if I had... they aren't there anymore, so I cleared it.

And I don't think I've been ignored by someone, but who knows.

If I was to ignore someone, it would have to be some spammer that wouldn't give up, even if I didn't reply to them.

I tend to ignore harassers, not just of me, but of others. I don't want to see that behavior, and it becomes quite obvious they are trolling for attention. I clean out my ignored list every few months.

I have been ignored by at least one individual all over a scuffle about shipping, so some blocks are more petty than others.

I have over 200+ people on my ignore list. It's mainly to throw bullies, trolls, scammers and people with triggering imagery in their signatures.

As far as second chances, no freaking way. You are there for a reason. Learned that the hard way when I removed everyone from my ignore list a few years ago.

I don't use the ignore list as much now since I'm often afk to even see anything, but throughout the past few months, I have. I've come across a lot of users in the forums that have outdone themselves by being nasty when it came to specific topics, and have said/done things that pretty much crossed the line for me. If I don't have to deal with them, I won't.

I only use the ignore feature as a sort of temporary holding cell. If someone posts a thread that pisses me off, I'll ignore them for a few days and then remove them from the list once I'm pretty sure the thread is off the first page. Otherwise, eh, I don't use it--nothing on this site ever bothers me too much. Oh...except for when Gaia had those sponsor NPCs that spammed announcements like that, was it Tampax?, NPC that wanted us to search for pads or something on the website. Yeah, no thanks. And those animal headed things from some movie and they creeped me the ******** out. But no user stays on my ignore list unless I completely forget, which I realise is the case right now, oops (not that anyone would notice haha).

i don't think i have ever ignored anyone on this account.
but i remember back when i first started Gaia someone users would spam you racing requests in the flashspaces,
and i know that i would always put those people on ignore, at least temporarily..

but other than that i dont think i take anyone seriously enough to get legitimately upset with what they are saying at this point.
anyways, i know that some people have blocked me, particularly in the site feedback l o l

I have never used the ignore function. I guess I would use it if someone was constantly harassing me and sending me cruel messages or making comments on my page of a rude nature.
