Why do you have to twist the background story?
Why not simply take Easter Bunny for what he is, for good and for bad?

In past events, EB has clearly proclaimed he was once beautiful and that he greatly misses his face.
EB and his gang were kicking Santa around because he was on Easter Bunny territory.
Jack punched EB, EB fell face first. Both blows made him ugly.
Jack and Santa were hogging all the press but EB was getting tired of his holiday being ignored. In 2k8 he sent egg bombs and got revenge.
In the last Gaia zOMG egg hunt, the Easter Bunny had a rant about how he hid EVERY. SINGLE. EGG. in every gaians house while Jack and Santa only gave out presents.

What's incorrect about that?

I think that one scene from his childhood really isn't enough to say he was a complete and utter douchebag all the time. I mean, the other holidays stood by him and helped him even though he got pwnt by Jack. They clearly had loyalty to him for some reason, otherwise they could have easily left him to bleed to death.

Also, EB very clearly has a sensitive ego. He probably viewed the fluff on the end of Santa's hat as a mockery of his fluffy tail, even if that wasn't the case at all. I strongly believe that adults let EB get away with anything when he was little by virtue of being so cute, which quickly made him develop the mindset that appearances are everything. I can't imagine how absolutely world shattering it would have been to then have his face permanently disfigured. It's really not his fault, which makes the whole deal very sad.

And when he slammed into the ground it looks like he might have done some damage to his spine.

Well for starters I NEVER claimed it was from EB's point of view, it's from the terrorist organization of E CORP's point of view (and no we're not ACTUAL gaia terrorists).

Yes they were ganging on Santa for unknowingly trespassing, but Jack didn't have to cripple him for life, that was a bit too excessive.
Also Anaella was right on the ball with that spine breaking comment. For all we could know, he may need some sort of spinal fluid regulator.


Keep in mind too this was suppose to be a propaganda post to remain in character for a terrorist organization.

Thing is, what i find wrong with the description (the origin in quotes), was the claiming that Santa and Jack just were bad, and that he was undoubtedly good, when the manga tells it very differently.
I'm starting to think about EB as quite an interesting character, but if potential supporters come to this thread, and read that version of the story, instead of knowing what the manga tells ....
Well, it explains the wierd fire of vengeance (and worse) i have noticed from EB-supprters during this Event.
Also, the origin i quoted above .... i feel that it doesn't do the Easter Bunny justice, since i think EB may have re-valued some things, and might even have had to face what truly happened at that time (or may be starting to face it).

Oh no he was definitely bullying him, there's no denying that, but the retribution he got for it was incredibly harsh. I didn't write that summary of his backstory, but from what I understand it's intentionally written to be ridiculous.
