Kiya was surprised to hear that he was trying to murder his father when he met their mother and sighed.” How about this, if I find a suitor, you will be the first to know.” She said looking to her father and smiled. “I promise.” Kiya had no intention to find a suitor and had a feeling with how much her father was pushing her to have one he would set her up with one without making it look like he had anything to do with it. “But I do have question, exactly who is on your list anyway?” he said earlier he had a long list for her; she wanted to know who to be wary of if they ever spoke to her.

Persephone was enjoying herself the men who had been talking with her, though at the moment she wasn’t really doing any talking, more of humoring them while she snacked and watched the show, automatically dispersed when Ludvayne got there. How dare who ever these people were do such a thing to her people, this was not going to stand. Lex came walking up beside her his crystal blue eyes watching the scene, his leather gloved hands gripping his blades. “ Lex.” “ Yes?” “ Take the Fangs go to the town, scout out what is going on and try to save as many of the people you can. WE will be there as soon as we can.” Lex nodded before looking to his son, “ Vexx, Lets go.” Vex had let go of his brother Talien and took off to see what was going on when he saw the fleet through the same window Dias had. He gave his father a nod and took off, a rush of feet and flutter of clothing followed behind him as some fangs took off to do their Jobs. “We will do our best to keep as meny of them as we can safe.” Lex said Ellina nodding as she watched the fleet. “Good luck.” With that Lex took off as well, The same sound of swift feet and fluttering of clothing sounded as another group of men rushed behind their leader. They were heading to Alaias, and they would put a stop to whatever was going on.

Selenia accepted Ellina's advice and took a few more deep breaths. "Yes your Majesty. Please be safe." She watched as Ellina headed towards the exit along with a few escorts. Selenia turned on her heels and began her search for the king. She motioned through the crowds of the guest who were still unaware of what was occurring. "Stay calm. I mustn't lose my senses yet." Selenia thought as she came to a clearing. Scanning her surroundings, she spotted Ludvayne conversing with another indivdual at a nearby table. Quickly making her way over, Selenia took a knee as she bowed her head. "My lord, there is an urgent matter that needs your attention right away." She said before lifting her head to look at him directly. "The Queen wishes to meet you outside as soon as possible."

Vincent and Kyrie had noticed the fleet of ships some time ago and were already outside watching the scene as everything went down, watching the glow of the fire and the strange figures constantly coming and going from the ship fleet was a lot more entertaining than the ball, At least to them. Rayne had found her two eldest children outside and had taken notice of the fleet. Her arms crossed as she watched everything from their view point. “ It looks like the time of peace has ended.” She said to her husband her eyes locked onto the flag ship of the fleet.

Ifrit, still running, was running short on breath. She wasn't watching the ground and tripped up. She stumbled a bit and came to a stop, breathing heavily. "What's the point..." She said in between breaths, "If they wanted me...they would have me." She sat down on her butt and pulled the hair away from her face. "How convenient." She said, noticing that the path she was on was headed towards the castle and away from the burning town. She looked behind her, that town couldn't be seen directly anymore but it's glow expanded over the hill as if the sun was rising. The scene reminded her of the many times people chased her. They always seemed nice at first, but then they got a look in their eye and they began to act aggressive. They always talked like she was a commodity to be captured. Is this attack tied with all those other incidents? Was the attack Ifrit's fault? She pulled her knees to her chest at the disturbing thought.

The fangs ran swift and true some even taking to the trees to make their pace faster as the jumped and swung form branch to branch. Every man and woman dressed in the clothing of assassins, bandits, or mercenaries upon their guards were the symbol of the crimson fang. It wasn’t long till they had come across their first survivor of the town, or at least what they thought was a survivor of the town. The only thing the girl would hear was what sounded like wind rushing through the trees; before she would see the sights of many people step form the shadows of the forest, occupying the branches and the forest floor, their eyes locked onto the lone girl.

Ifrit extend her legs across the ground as she exhaled, leaning her head back. As she caught her breath, she felt a pleasurable sensation rushing through her body; she was having a runner's high. She heard the wind blow but she didn't feel the cooling sensation across her skin that wind would carry. She glanced towards the trees beside her. The trees weren't waving in the wind. She tilted her head. "Odd." Then out of the trees many figures emerged. All of their eyes were locked on her. It was an eerie scene, like wolves surrounding their prey. Her heart began to beat again, were they from the ship? She stood to her feet. "Hello?" She called out in a broken, nervous voice. She wasn't even sure if these people were real, they seemed to be like ghosts that appeared suddenly.

“ Are you alright?” Came a voice from behind a tree, Lex stepping out into the light, his crystal blue eyes watching her, she looked frightened and from what he could tell she was alone. Stepping out along with him another dressed in the same kind of clothing, only his was pure black his eyes the deep purple. “ She must be from the town.” He said looking to Lex, Lex giving him a nod as he walked toward the young woman. “We are the Crimson Fang, we have come from the castle to seek out survivors of this attack we mean you no harm.” He placed his arm to his chest and gave her a small bow in respect, also to show that what he was saying was true.

"I suppose." She looked towards the man named Lex. They were intimidating, but they seemed to have pure intention. Even with that, something about these men looked odd, they were hard to tell apart. One of the men said something about survivors. "I..." She hesitated, as if something bothered her. "I don't think there are any. I couldn't see anyone run away, and even if they did those things can fly!" Her ears laid flat. She still wasn't sure about these fellows. If they really are here to rescue people, how could they possibly fight against that giant ship in the sky? She narrowed her eyes, but kept calm. "What do you want me to do?" she asked the man who took a small bow towards her.

Lex couldn’t help but smile from her concern about there being no survivors. “We are here to make sure is some” with that he stepped closer to the girl and knelt down in front of her looking her over, she seemed like she was ok, he didn’t see any injuries on her. “Vexx.” He said looking back to the trees and assassin in black, the young male pushing himself from the tree. “ Yes?” “ I want you to escort this girl back to the castle, keep her safe, make sure she meets with the king so that she can tell him and Ellina what has happened.” Vexx only nodded as he walked up to them, Lex returning his gaze back to the girl “Are you able to walk?”

The man's smile slightly put her at ease, but when he knelt in front of her and looked her over she felt uneasy again. Did she look ok? She knew her dress was dirty. The man called for another named 'Vexx'. Someone in black approached. As she looked at them, she noticed how intimidating he looked as well. The first man commanded Vexx to take her to the castle to meet with the king. In her nervousness she answered his question, "Ah yes, that's how I got here! Heh. By you know...walking." She gave a half-hearted laugh as she scratched the back of her head.

Now that made him chuckle, he should have known better then ask that question. “Yes, I see so, I was just making sure.” With that he moved away from her getting back to his feet, he rather liked this girl she was had a quick wit, he held his hand out to help her up, if they were going to get work done they had to get this girl heading to safety and back on their way. “Are you sure you can walk? Because if not Vexx here can always carry you.” He said with a all too familiar grin, it was the same one Talien used when he was poking fun at someone, the red haired teenager had adopted it from his father. Vexx looked to Lex glaring at him from under his hood. Lex chuckling once more as he waved off his son’s reaction. “ Only teasing there bub.”

Ifrit felt a trust growing towards these people. She could sense the chemistry of a team among them. "I'm sure." She answered. She took a glance back towards the town. The ship still lingered and the orange glow still overtook the hill. Those townsfolk most likely didn't stand a chance, so why was the ship still here? Ifrit looked towards Vexx. She still didn't trust him completely, but she decided that as long as they stay on a path towards the castle, she would follow him. "Um..." she said to Vexx, "Should we be going?" Her ears sat back slightly, as there was a bit of shyness to her question.

Vexx sighed from Lex’s teasing before looking back to Ifrit and nodding. “Follow me.” With that he started walking, making sure to keep a slow pace for her to keep up with him. “Make sure to get her safe, then come back as soon as you can.” Vexx just gave him a wave of understanding as he continued to walk, Lex smirking. “O! And no kissy faces! We need to stay focused, save that for later!” the rest of the crimson fangs laughing from Lex’s jest as Vexx grunted and flipped him the bird making everyone laugh harder. With that said and Don Lex turned back to his men. “ Alright everyone, move out we have work to do.” The rest of the fangs nodded and took off once more blending into the forest and heading to the town.
