Talien had long figured out that his cousin had gave both himself and the guard a slip when he didn’t see her anywhere near were he was going, so he had decided to give the guard a bit of a run for his money, and see how far the guard would go before he realized Talien was taking him for a wild goose chase. Talien may have been the new Darkheart disappointment, but like his father he had schemes in his mind. Turning a corner he looked back to see the guard fall to the ground and become depressed, a grin coming to the red haired male as he stared walking off, completely pleased with himself, Though his sense of victory didn’t last long when a boot came flying out of no were, the kick striking him right in the stomach, rather hard, causing the red haired male to fall back onto his back, groaning and holding his stomach. As he tried to nurse his hurt abdomen a Male with dark purple almost black hair, and purple eyes, wearing black assassins clothing came stepping out of the shadows, the crimson Fang symbol on the right shoulder of his shirt “Moron.” He grunted as he grabbed his brother by the collar of his shirt and dragged Talien back the way he came, so that he can own up to his stupidity.

Kiya had been running with her father and Edge" Is that how you and mom did it?” she said with a smirk, keeping a rather good pace with them until her father had stopped in his tracts, noticing they had practically left the ball. She decided to head off with her father, though this little argument about finding a suitor always continued Kiya found it to be in good humor and didn’t mind arguing with her father about it, since it never got to the point of yelling or anything. Once more heaving a sigh she looked to her father now walking with him to be her sister actually was. “Tell me something did you go looking for a lady when you were my age?”

Persephone actually wasn’t trying to garner any attention this time, she had actually chosen to relax and have a drink as well as a small snack, while she sat upon a table watching the performance, but being who she was Persephone of course garnered a rather nice size group of people no matter where she went.

During her conversation with Ryuu, Selenia began to notice something odd. Some of the guests in the main hall looked a bit panicked and shocked. "Forgive me Ryuu, but there is something I need to look into. Please, enjoy the remainder of the ball." She said before making her way through crowds of people with haste. Selenia stepped out of the ball area and into what looked as if it were a full blown invasion. Feeling her heart nearly jump out her chest, she looked on with despair as many beings with wings entered the town from above. "Oh my lord...!" Selenis took hesitant steps backwards before rushing back into the main hall in search of the Ellina or Ludvayne. Frantically, she searched through the crowds of guests. As she came to a stop, she scanned the area around her. Selenia had quickly turned her attention over to the opposite side of the hall when she spotted a shimmering crown atop the head of one among many. "Your Majesty!" Selenia immediately made her way towards Ellina "Ellina, something horrible has happened!" She spoke with fear evident in her voice.

Ellina had been speaking with Noah about his new Job, when she all of a sudden she noticed the atmosphere seemed rather edgy, curious she looked around trying to see if there was perhaps a fight or something that happened that needed to be quelled, but that wasn’t the case at all when Selena came running up to her in a panic. “What’s happened, what’s wrong?” She asked standing up rather concerned, no one came running up to her claiming for an emergency unless something was really wrong.

Ifrit was sneaking on a farm that over-looked the small town of Alaias. She was foraging there, or in other words, stealing the farmer's crop. Ifrit knew it could get it in trouble, but it was a way to save money. While she was snacking on her stolen goods she felt a sudden sensation of nausea in her belly. She thought it might have been the food until she glanced towards Alaias. There was a massive ship over the town. Lights shined down onto the town and people came out of the ships. Ifirit stood up as her sickness almost made her vomit. She covered her mouth and looked up towards the ship and thought 'Is...is this ship making me sick?'

Houses burned as the town of Alaias was ransacked, people torn from their homes as places were set ablaze, the strange armored beings taking everything within their grasp, the strapped women, children and men into shackles and forced them to march. Their wings were made of what looked like pure energy, and they had strange weapons. These weird weapons varied form spears to axe’s, swords to daggers and others.

Those who were not taken in shakles were killed for their resistance, children were being taken form their parents and husbands and wives separated form one another. These things had no mercy nor did they seem to care about those they were harming.

"A town is under attack! There was a ship and out of it many winged beings infiltrated the town! It be seen even from the front of the castle" Selenia explained the situation. "What if it reaches this town?." Selenia knew that she was a guard for the ball, but a outcome such as this was nothing she expected. She turned back towards the main entrance of the castle before taking deep breaths. "Your Highness, I know you only accepted me as a guard for the ball temporarily, but as things are I will need to be much more than that." Selenia said as he looked over her shoulder to Ellina "Will you allow me to fight for this town if they decide to strike here next?"

Ellinas eyes went wide when she said there was a town under attack, looking to the window she could see a dim orange glow in the distance from the window but that was all, she had to go see this for herself. “I thank you Selena for your willingness to help. But first you must stay calm, do not panic whatever you do, if the people see that their guards are in panic then they too will panic and lose faith.” With that she went to place her hand on the girl shoulder. “ I need you to go to my husband, tell him what you have seen, and tell him to meet me outside. I will go ahead and see this for myself, thank you telling me, now go we do not have much time, but remember stay calm.” With that she left to see what was going on, motioning a maid who was holding her weapons to come along with her.

Ifrit watched and could only think of selfish thoughts of self preservation. She thought that the winged beasts would move outward the town, soon coming over her. This realization aroused a terror over her that she hasn't felt before. Without a single thought she turned and ran as hard as her legs would allow. Her mind raced for a safe place. The only place she could see that gave her enough hope to keep running was a castle in the distance. If she wasn't running so hard, her fear would make her tremble to her knees. The castle was her only thought in her mind. Though she knew she couldn't reach the castle by just running, she ran anyways with her eyes shut. 'Maybe someone will see, someone who can help. Maybe.'
