When Cali spoke to her, it was regarding the armor. About how she could fix it, perhaps into something better or new. "If you're of a mind to try something with it, I'm not going to stop you." She would answer Cali with a polite tone of voice since Cali was being polite on her end in offering. Then she heard Aeryn's next line of words, regarding Lyra's 'potential for magic'. About how it would be difficult for someone her age to 'feel their mana'. "What Aeyrn has stated, there is some truth to it. She has not once seen me cast any form of magic or work of the arcane arts. My combative skills were all purely physical. I have not learned anything of the Arcane Arts nor am I familiar with knowledge regarding mana."

There was little point to her asking if he was a pervert or not. He understood what she was doing and left it at that long before she stated why she was taking the drenched sweater off. Of course he also understood now why she asked in the first place. He didn't blush however as he didn't really think anything of it. Yeah he could see that she has quite the body but to him it was simply a body and nothing more. True he called her pretty but that was an honest truth in all it's worth. When she had indeed reclaimed her spot and hugged her legs, he would gently wrap his arms around her for the sole purpose of keeping her warm. "The story, while short, is about a pair of lovers under the light of the moon. Long ago, in a simple village akin to that of a medieval era village, there was a young girl and a young boy. Both were fourteen winters of age going on their fifteen. It was night time, under a full moon. The boy, named Meckaile, was going to be going on a journey with a famous soldier to learn how to fight in order to protect. The girl, named Aria, had wanted to give him something special. A flute with the depiction of a fox."

He would begin the story, with some key elements that would be present later on. "As Aria had given Meckaile the flute, she asked him to think of her when he was lonely and playing a song with the flute. To think of where he came from and to remember his dreams. She then requested that he write to her when he had the chance to tell her how his journey went. Meckaile of course agreed to honor Aria's wishes. In return, he had something to give her as well. The boy and his family had been raising a family of tiger kits and when they were big enough they had to let the kits go. After having spoken with his father, he had brought a small white tiger kit with him to give to Aria. He told her that the tiger would keep her company while he was away and that just as he was to think of her when he plays that flute that in turn she should think of him." He continued, this was only the beginning of the story. He was certain by now, if she wasn't already, that Cerise was probably being entertained.

"That tiger would eventually come to be named Matthias as Aria seldom chose names that were long and hard to say whenever she named something. Overjoyed to have received Matthias and to hear Meckaile's agreement to her request, she in turn agreed. The two made their final farewells and Meckaile would begin his journey the following morning. He was to reach a city of silver called Acyralyna with the famous knight Sir Lanze Wolfe the second of Fryjita. To do so they would have to pass through a mountain full of dwarves." As he was telling the story, he was speaking as he would to his own sister. Calm, and at the same time trying to make the story sound interesting to hear. In hindsight this was probably a story he had once told his little sister. Something that held a meaning behind it. Something that sounded like a bedtime story that would likely be told over a course of sittings. It was true however that this story meant something to Zero. His stories, the picture, and his memories of his family would be all he had left of his family. As such these things were probably something he considered to be treasures because they meant a great deal to him.

Dapper Cat

Somehow sitting in Zero's lap became even more comfortable. She enjoyed the warmth of his arms, though it felt awkward with her hands still on her legs, so she wiggled her arms up and out. She put her arms on his and hoped it wasn't too weird. It was a rather intimate position since they'd just met several hours hence, but it was also better than freezing their arses off.

"Mmm. Teenagers in love, tigers, knights, and dwarves? I like this already." Cerise yawned, her eyes crinkling and hands coming up to cover her red mouth. She felt her eyelids getting heavier, the cave becoming darker... she flashed her eyes open, widening them as if it'd help with her drowsiness, and breathed in sharply. She wanted to hear the end of the story! "I feel like the girl's gonna do something stupid. Anyways, so were the- " Another yawn. "-dwarves the friendly drunk kind, or the grumpy gold-hoarding kind?"

xxxxxGrizzy sighed as he sat on the edge of a cliff, looking out at the vast forest infront of him. It came to Grizzy's knowledge that this entire planet was a forest planet. A planet where nature ruled.

A plane he was aboard had crashed about 2 days ago, and him being the only survivor began to wander. He quickly left the crash site, carrying any resources he could scavenge before leaving. Some food, which he wouldn't need for a while, be biotic and all, and the pilots PDA device. It could not make any calls from this planet so Grizzy used it to keep track of time and direction.

Grizzy stood, and turned, walking away from the cliff where he began to hear chatter. Quickly cloaking himself, using his biotic powers, he crouched and hid a bush where he saw what seemed to be evil walking by. He had noticed a lot of...evil looking men on this planet. Was it normal? Who knows, all Grizzy knew was to keep away.

He stayed silent and hidden in the bushes until they passed. Once out of site, Grizzy stood, disabling his cloaking ability and began to walk aimlessly in one direction until he came upon a giant gave.

He heard more chatter, but the voices were very different. With his advanced hearing he hear something about teenagers and love. He stepped slightly deeper into the cave.

    "Hello?"
He said, in a semi-robotic tone.

~"You call for me

Location?: traveling through forest, looking for trouble
who with?: Alone for the moment

CrazyAs if observing the bright, viscous crimson liquid flowing into the reservoir of the somewhat rusty needle wasn't enough to get Serena excited, the scent of the two decomposing bodies she now hovered over like a deranged scavenger was almost enough to send her over the edge. The seemingly young, pale maiden licked her lips in anticipation as her free hand began lightly brushing over the torso of the corpse she had originally started observing, fingers tracing invisible lines across defined points on the body, as if searching for something.

When she found what she was looking for, Serena froze for a few seconds before pressing her finger into the center of the corpse's chest, where her hand quickly slipped into the body as if the body did not exist at all. Feeling the energy surge through her body, she grasped the soul of the being before quickly tearing it out.

As she tore the soul, latent spiritual energy was very quickly released in to the area around her, giving a show of floating white aura particles that looked almost like snow to anybody with the slightest affinity for the ether. Her unnaturally glowing pink eyes relaxed as she gave a content sigh, staring at the glowing, pure white orb she now held in her hand before tilting her head back and devouring the soul of the now empty corpse.

Standing up and dusting off her knee-length skirt and purple dress, she gave a glance at the other body, whose soul had already left for the far beyond much sooner than the one she had just consumed. Closer examination showed that the people had been killed by what looked like the native fauna, having multiple large scratch and bite wounds all over their bodies. Luckily one of them had a white soul, something she had been looking for for a bit and was very rare in a darkened world like this.

Giving a half smile of content at her meal, she put a cover over the now full needle in her other hand and stowed it away. She then did a quick scan of the area, her eyes tearing apart her surroundings until she was sure she was alone before turning on a heel and promptly walking away.

User Image The hybrid flew onto one of the tree branches to rest for a few moments. She hadn't had anything attack her for a while, but she was ready in case something showed up. She snorted in aggravation at the whole thing. Something was bound to have stolen her hoard by now..and she couldn't smell any gems underneath the soil. She needed to find a mountain or a cave..somewhere she could be safe. Somewhere she could hunt for gems and gold. The animals with cloth and metal on their bodies sometimes carried gold through her mountain. It made it easier to take. She wondered if there were any of them around..she hadn't seen one in some time. Usually they came to challenge her with their metal sticks. Soriath groaned softly, confused and lost in the cold rain.

He watched as the girl started spinning around looking for him. The others must think she was insane. She still hadnt answered his question. Either she was in shock at having a voice in her head, or she was an enemy and didnt want to answer. He continued to communicate."Dont bother looking around. Im not in your camp, and the others cant hear me. If you speak out loud, they will think you are insane. Think what you want to say and i will hear." He said. He wanted to know where they came from. This was pretty much the first interesting thing that has happened to him. All the people he met today seemed to be able to do impossible things and he wanted to know how. "Look to your left." He said. That would make sure she was looking in almost his exact location. Once she was facing him, he shifted his scales to a bright green so he was completely visible, but only for a second, then he camouflaged himself again and quickly circled to a new location so he wouldnt be in danger.

A grin came across his face. It was a peaceful grin at that, a pleasant one. "The kind that loves a good festival. It was because they are the kind that loves a good festival that they welcome travelers. Fate would have it that around that time of the year, the seventh generation of the Dwarvish Royal Family of Khalzarak would be holding their seventh coronation. As Meckaile and Lanze were entering the mountain, they were promptly greeted and escorted to the city of Khalzarak for the time being. They would be needing supplies if they were to make it to Acyralyna. As the pair were getting settled in to enjoy the festivities and stock up on supplies, something dared lurk into the shadows. A myth surrounded the royal family regarding the seventh generation. That on the eve of the coronation a dragon would appear to put an end to the dwarves. Fate had brought Meckaile and Lanze to Khalzarak and before they knew it, he had appeared." It was then that he saw how tired Cerise had been. She was yawning quite a bit. "Perhaps I shall continue tomorrow night. We should be getting some rest."

It was with that, Zero had carefully taken off his coat and shifted so that he could cover Cerise and himself with his coat for the night and slept not long after. The following morning, Zero was the first to wake up and already he could tell someone was there. They spoke out with a greeting so the first thing he did was stand up and walked towards the source of the voice. This individual.....hadn't appeared very threatening. Even so, Zero was on guard. "Who are you? Please, keep in mind that if you are hostile in any shape or form I will have to act accordingly." With that matter, as he had earlier in the day stood when encountering Cerise and her then companion Debbidos, he had his right foot behind his left and kept his right hand ready to summon his sword just in case he needed it. His left hand however remained still. The expression he held on his face was quite solemn as he looked out to the male that was looking back at him by now. With him greeting the visitor first, this would save Cerise any embarrassment so that she could get dressed.

XXXXXEverything was correctly placed everywhere in a form that Vaelora found it a bit disturbing. Nature little wonders, she thought... since that was nothing suspicious as she would walk freely, not giving a thought about the dangers that lurked in the forest. Not a single piece of fresh meat was spotted, not a single movement was around... and if this forest was magical... that was bull. Bull, because it was empty and there was nothing. Vaelora was trying to keep her growling to herself as she would keep walking. Suddenly her insticts told her to summon her bow which she did. Taking a deep breath, she got an arrow ready, a small white fluff would appear as she would turn her eyes... but then... again it was her imagination. When was the last time that she ate? She wasn't sure... the only thing that she had in mind right now was to get rid of the whole forest using her fire... but that would be a waste of stamina and a waste of nature. You win this time, mom. Vaelora again placed her bow in her back as well her arrow. Running her hand behind her neck, she was stressed, mad and also tired. But hunger was bigger, so it would win.

That was smart, Vaelora... you got yourself lost in a forest! XXXXX

Crazy Serena giggled as she traveled on, experiencing a sudden feeling of euphoria wash over her. For a moment she felt a large head-rush, followed by a mildly numbing sensation rush to her toes and fingers. Her usual blank stare was now replaced with a lazy smile as the effects from the white soul she had consumed began to kick in.

Up ahead, she noted that the sky was considerably darker, and the air was becoming both more charged and more humid, and soon she could feel the torrent was quickly upon her. She didn't mind, being that she wasn't technically alive to suffer any ailments from the cold, but it made it bit harder to navigate due to the white noise that the weather caused. Another wave of euphoria washed over her as everything around her became more contrasted and colorful, something that was a rather pleasant change for her. Her skin began to take on a less inhumanly pale tone and her irises ceased to glow, but remained in their eerie pink color. By the end of these changes she was much less recognizeable as a darkened creature, while she could see and feel things much more vividly than her undead body normally allowed.

And then she felt it, another nearby presence! The aura of this one smelling unmistakeably purer than the native inhabitants of this land. Her eyes widened as she crouched down, observing the now visible figure in the distance that was currently facing away from her on a branch. Using the rain as cover for her movements, she took one bare-footed step at a time as she approached this new creature. It smelled faintly of arcane remnants, but it was all she could detect through the rain. It's appearance looked distinctly similar to that of a human female, but also wore strange reptilian extremities that made it seem distinctly in-human as well. Smirking, a mischevious idea crossed Serena's mind, and in an instant was already in action as she leapt up and sat on an overhanging tree branch.

"those wings are adorable~! mind telling me how you got them?"

she called out to the creature in a mild tease, pausing and judging her escape options in the case she recieved a less-than-friendly response as she waited in anticipation.

User Image Soriath sat up when she heard a voice. She looked to see a female sitting on a branch near hers, causing her to leap down. She took a defensive stance, unsure what to make of the newcomer. It looked female..she didn't know how she knew, but she did. The other female smelled strange. Soriath tilted her head as the female spoke, unable to understand what she wanted. The tone was not threatening or challenging. This was rather confusing to the hybrid..most beings tried to challenge her dominance. This one sounded..happy? The hybrid stared up at the female and made an "mmm" sound out of confusion.

The crossbreed sat down to see what the other female would do. Soriath could tell something was off about her, just not what. The only thing she knew for sure was that she wasn't alone anymore. This pleased her for some reason. Perhaps this person knew where her cave was.
