His Hands

These hands are only slightly smaller than mine,

And they’re such a comfort to hold.


They are young, yet busy hands,

so kind, and nice to hold.

His hands aren’t very lined, but they work often and hard.

They’ve done great works of creativity and art.


His imagination, intelligence, humor, and wit,

are seen through what his hands do, bit by bit.

What his small nails, a big palm, and slender fingers hide,

are good intentions, cleverness, and excellent morals

(that he will always abide by.)


His quick fingers can solve puzzles of almost any sort,

his hands are clean and free of ghastly warts.

The antics his hands are often seen performing,

are sometimes amusing, but usually plain annoying.


My younger brother will always be my special number one,

thank you so much, for all that you have done.
