• Here, we mourn the death of a Child
The innocence and bliss of a Child
The handing of Adam’s apple to a Child
Angelic wings that fall off from a Child

The Child dances a nature dance
Spinning in a circle of leaves and wild grass
Angels in angles where the ground is covered in snow
Footprint dashes upon the beachside sand

But nature is covered by the hands of man
Trees are cut and the grass is shaven
Snow is plowed and the roads are cleared
Ships and industries blacken Poseidon’s rift

A Child is left alone in the world, only to be abused by evil
O woe is he, his heart sinking slowly with melancholy
In this weakness is when the nameless man shapes and molds him “true”
Comes the death of a Child.
