  This poem is just something that symbolizes the difference between homes that ARE abusive and homes with kids who are JUST spoiled.
  
  The Title is suppose to be: The Spoiled And The Defenseless. Ran out of room to place "And."

I hate my life
I hate my parents
My parents are ruining my life!
They will not let me go to a party with beer
They will not let me have a thousand dollar purse
A thousand dollar cell phone or Ipod
They are ruining my life!



My parents beat me
I only asked for food
I have not eaten in days
My stomach growls as I watch
My parents eat
I reach for a bowl
My father yells and smacks me
…..I only want to eat



My parents yell at me for chores
However, I do not have to do chores
I am a fifteen!
I am an adult!
I do not have to listen to my parents!
My parents ground me
I was only speaking my mind!
They are ruining my life!




I do not know why
However, my parents beat me
I get good grades and behave well
I do know ask for anything and stay out of trouble
Something sets them off and
They beat on me
They tell me I am worthless, a disappointment
They wish I had never been born
Then my parents beat on me some more
…..What did I do?
