Some of us will reach
High into the sky
Searching for the sun
While others will sink
Into the cold depths of darkness
Hiding from that blinding light
That sears our souls
And forces us to see
The hurt we hide inside
The pain that we feel
And the happiness we yearn for
So you may reach for the suns light
And go with smiles on your faces
While I stay down here
And force myself to see
The truth within this shell

- Yeah it was. I participated for the first time last year but lost my inspiration. And I don't particularly like my poetry, I just felt like sharing it. But the criticism is appreciated ^_^
