The Dress

I opened my drawers and saw it,
Its buried under my clothes.
I stop what I'm doing,
And the tears started to swell up.
tab So beautiful, yet so painful.
The orange and whit squares give accent to the black middle.
tab So old fashioned.
The sleeves reach the middle of my upper arm,
And it reaches just below my knees.
tab So smooth, so cold.
I wore this dress only once.
I wore it to see it, to show you.
You never saw it, now you never will.
tab The dress is just so beautiful,I want to forget it.
