Uncle bill;lost memories

• Description: This poem that i recently wrote to go with a song on my guitar was for my uncle who past away november 13th at 53 and died of natural causes he was to be 54 yesterday.
  I live with my aunt who is my guardian though we are not all blood related
  were still all family and have been with each other for life..
  we just wish we could of all got through the happy times and holidays..together.

Where have you been
its been so quite since then
i miss how you were
and the way you smiled
its been quite a while

we would go out in the back and bring
our dog emily a snack
someone here misses you more then me
i know I cant compete

I know that I wont see you anymore
this life down here is now what i'm looking for
i'm searching for so much more

and i promised myself
I wouldn't put my guitar down
because every time
i play
i know
your listening..
