• A crucible of culture
    Irresistible and intangible
    Hope that drives our world
    To this world
    A world diverse
    In culture
    In levels of ignorance
    But there are some spots
    Spots that are
    Bleached
Spots where all you see is
    White
    Spots with roughly
    No diversity at all
But no matter where you are
    No matter the population
    That surrounds you
    We will always strive
    For that bright distant
    Green light
    The green light
    That blinds us
    Blinds us
    Until all we see is
    Green
    Drowning in a sea of
    Green
Bathing in a tub full of
    Green
    The green manifests us all
    The want for green
    Corrupts
    Destroys
    Kills
No one wants to be like
    James Gatz
    Yet blind ambition
    Makes history
    Repeat itself

    ---

    A certain shade of green
    Flies in the sky
    All that comes here want
    This certain shade of green
    Why does such a shade
    Excite the
    WORLD?
    Why is such a shade
    So deeply
    HATED?
    Why does such a shade
    Carry such a
    DEMENTED IDEAL?
    This shade does not deliver
    HAPPINESS
    We ourselves define the shade’s
    MEANING
    But everything in this world
    Can’t possibly be
    All about that
    GREEN SHADE
    What of the kidnapped Ancients
    Oppressed by the Natives
    Down at the bottoms of
    THE MISSISSIPPI?
What of their lives and the
    Dystopia that they
    RESIDE?
What of the raft that ventured
    Ventured down the stream of
    THE MISSISSIPPI?
    Did ever they witness the
    Horror of the Ancients
    And their dystopia brought forth
    By the Natives?
    What was their DREAM?

    ---

    Everyone wonders about the DREAM
    A dream so vastly versatile
    Currency
    Happiness
    Freedoms
    Paradise
    In a world of
    Despair
    Complaints
    Narcissism
    Maybe the DREAM
Is to escape the world of
    DESPAIR
    And enter a blissful
    White and green
    PARADISE

    Everyone wonders about the DREAM
A dream that has no one
    Concrete definition
Why do we worry so much about
    Such an abstract concept?

In the words of the scarecrow
The scarecrow before it was such
    “Nothing matters, but
    Knowing nothing matters,
    It’s just life, so
    Keep dancing
    THROUGH”

Maybe the DREAM this whole time
    Is just
    LIVING LIFE
