Those eyes cut right through me,
those eyes tell me lies.
Those eyes are unruly,
those eyes i despise.

Those eyes are like a lion's,
my eyes were the prey.
When the two pairs met,
my eyes strayed away.

Those eyes are like snakes,
they creep up on me at night.
They bite me in a flash,
While i scream with all my might

Those eyes were once glorious.
They brightened up my day.
But now i just hate them.
cause the same, they would not stay.

honestly...i just draw my poems from thoughts...this isnt technically a life experience....but....it could be for someone else...thanx...=)

it has a deeper meaning, like someting you have to dig for. i find that the deeper meaning is that someone you loved hurt you terribly, and the eyes that you once loved are now the ones you hate. 5/5
