• Beyond the ruined skies pitched a black shade
Lies the land once florescent with grace
She mourns her loses, she's dead yet still conscious
While the dream, a wretched dream
Her silly nightmare takes wind and becomes the beastly shadow

It was a seed behind her sight
Growing from lush ravines and lively trees
Stealing away the animals and tricking the towns
Spreading like black puss all over her skin
It spelled the need, the beast who only knew a little thought

It grew without emotions, cradled in the cackle of smoke
Spewing fire from its heart dug deep where the guiltless scar arose
Soon the air mixed with the ash and the trees replaced by bones
The humans replaced by shadows, singing sadly behind the vale
Until it was its only remainder, alone, the poltergeist

    She was tortured, she screamed
    Whipped beyond all her reality
Stolen by the wolf with yellow eyes
Each scar embedded replacing skin with rot
Until the stars reflected what remained, the black pearl of horrid dreams

    Nothing evermore lived
No hell, no heaven, no belief or dream found
But merely the silence which shunned the light and destroyed the screams
Black as black should be, where no colors could ever live
A black pearl shrouding into the night
