I am a speed demon
I live my life in the fast lane
I will not slow down
no matter how great the world
yet you continue to tell me to stop and smell the roses
but maybe I just enjoy the smell of gasoline better
maybe I like the sun on my face
and maybe I like the wind through my hair
and maybe I enjoy my world over yours
so i will not slow down
and I will continue to live my life in the fast lane
I am a speed demon

Hm, a bit cliched - especially the "fast lane" bit. But I like the bit about enjoying the smell of gasoline more than roses. That showed thought!
