• She Cries, She Bleeds, She Screams.
She fights the emotions as they streak wet lines down her
    burning face.
    She curls, fearing her downfall.
She covers herself, covers her embarrassment.
She shields her face from all those around.
She feels herself slip from the firm holds she has on life.
She runs from the urge, from the temptation.
She runs from the lover that stalks her from the shadows.
She runs from her self-created demons, those that track her so well.
She cuts corners, dodging as they follow on her heels.
    She screams for help.
    She cries for Safety.
    She runs all the while.
She hides in a corner of her room.
Hot tears of sorrow stream down her face as her lover comes forward.
She closes her eyes and feels the slice as it moves across her wrist.
Another strand of crimson blooms in a straight line across her ivory skin.
She leans back against the wall and cries as the fail sinks in.
She slouches and then stands, preparing to run again.
